Clear and understandable teacher. Very helpful and available. The Best Pol Sci teacher at CCCCD. You will learn in a fun and relaxed environment. Tests are fair and straightforward. If majority of class misses a question he will throw it out.

I came to class 10 times and still got a C with some brown nosing. He hypes up the class and has a very good personality.

I had him for GOVT. 2301 and I am making sure I get him for GOVT. 2302!! He is a great teacher and he really DOES care about the success of his students. He makes Government interesting and always makes the students at ease about the material.

Neutral prof. who does not lean toward Conseratives or Liberals. Only one project and the rests are tests. If you are a bad test taker tnen you should look for another professor.

Great teacher. Explains well while making things fun and interesting. One project and 3 test. Don't wait until the last minute to start project, it is not hard but it does take some time. Take his class, you won't regret it. Interesting discussions make you look forward to every class.

I love his lecture...Govt becomes interesting to me now... Its my 2nd taking govt and he changed my view about it. His tests are not bad... He has really high curve also and extra credits offered, what else you can ask for. We had one project paper and trust me its not what you think..Most people freaked out but it turns out so easy to get A.

Dr. Morgan is very nice. He cares about his students and wants them to do well. His tests were not hard but were not what he said they would be, so read the textbook if you want an A. He does play favorites a little, if you are not interesting, he does not pay much attention to you. He has a great sense of humor.

what an awesome teacher! not only is he hilarious, he's very intelligent. His govt class was so much fun and he made us laugh the whole time. tests were pretty long but they were multiple choice. I didnt even buy the book, and i made a B. Tests are all based on lecture notes so attend class and you'll do great! Highly recommended! :)

this guy was born to teach. He is funny and is quick to spout off intersesting facts relevant to the subject. I learned a lot in his wintermester course. You do have to write alot and give an oral presentation, but I loved the assignment. He indirectly forces his students to quit being ignorant. I got an A. i do recomend taking him!

Nick is the best I'm looking forward to taking him for Govt. 2302. He is very precise,he gives great examples, He basically walked us through doing the term paper step by step, there is no way you can fail the paper or the class. I took the easy extra credit assignments as well. Nick Rocks!!!

I thought I was going to hate Govenment. I really enjoyed Dr. Morgan. He was great. I couldn't wait for class. At first I was a little worried about the research paper. He borke it down into parts and that really helped. Take hin you will enjoy the class. One thing don't be late b/c he will not let you in the class that day.

He is hilarious! Definitely keeps the class laughing and always keeps the lectures intersting. He will call you out, no matter where you sit, but it's not one of those "Oh I hope he doesn't call me" type classes, he will ask for your opinion and clearly answer any questions you have. I would definitely take him again!

For a somewhat liberal Professor, Professor Morgan is very respectful of all political views. His humor keeps all his classes interesting. His MASS MEDIA chapter towards the end of the semester is the most important piece of knowledge he gives his students. Great when it comes to extra credit over 100 plus points available.

The best Government techer ever! His notes are power point based but gives enough time to write them. Good attitude and personality towards the class. The book is mandatory since he randomly picks on people to answer questions out of the assigned readings. Great teacher, highly recommened!

The greatest gov. professor I have ever had. He makes the class completely interesting and his lessons are crystal clear. Loves class participation and feedback. His exams are all multiple choice and he goes over the test reviews the class before (which is extremely HELPFUL). I strongly suggest anybody to take his class. You won't regret it! :)

If I had to pick a professor to hang out with away from school, this would be my guy. He is a scream and you will laugh thoughout the entire semester. Anyone that can make me laugh in Govt class gets my vote. Take him!

Bottom line, outstanding professor. His lectures make you interested in government and he's really funny. He notes what slides from his powerpoint are going to be on the exams. Exams were easy because it reflected his review handouts. Research paper was broken up into parts so it was a breeze. ADVICE: TAKE THIS PROFESSOR

Captain Morgan is a beast!!! He is certainly among the best professors I've had in my entire educational career. His teaching method is interactive and highly amusing! His jokes will crack you up but don't try to outsmart him he will make you look like a fool, but if you can prove him wrong he gives you extra credit. Awesome Professor 5/5 for sure.

Professor Morgan is by far the best professor.He is so funny, all his jokes relate to the lectures.He has 3 test with a review day, if you attend to class for the review you will be fine. I took him for Maymester & was dreading it. I came out of it learning more than I expected & more than I did in 2 yrs. at Collin. Excellant professor! Take him. Organized, funny, well learned in his field, understanding, you will learn a lot. Took on campus. Had very little work outside of class with the exception of one group project and some study for tests but he follows his power points and gives hints for exam. He is changing his format to online testing for Fall13.

Prof Morgan is an awesome teacher! He teaches in a way that is easy to understand and remember. It helps that he's hilarious. Be sure to go to class though, he covers everything that will be on the tests during the lectures. He has one mandatory group project that takes a bit of work, but keep on top of your work and you'll be fine.

At first I liked him,but after awhile started to be annoyed by him. At the beginning of the class he said that 90% of his students made an A. The majority of the grade is for online quizzes, which you have to REALLY study the book to get the answers. In class hes ok. Lets you use your phone, almost no lecture/need to take notes.

Prof Morgan is very funny and involved. He definitely tries to keep the class entertained during lectures. If you read the text book and pay attention in class you will do well. The majority of the grade is from online quizzes over every chapter and the final project.

I absolutely adore Professor Morgan! He has to be the most influential professor I have had thus far. Just do the online exams and discussions and you are golden. He is very reasonable and understanding as well when you have to miss class. I would recommend him to anyone who has not had a professor change their view on college or life.

I have taken him for govt 1 and 2, and I have to say he's one of my favorite professors and probably will be for the rest of my college life. He is very funny and laid-back. His grading criteria is very clear-cut, but if you have a good reason or ask, he will give you an extension. He makes government very interesting and also gives life lessons.

The first day of class, the dean came in and handed Professor Morgan an award for best professor, & indeed he is. He engages students & is absolutely hilarious. Slightly sarcastic, but I would look forward to his lectures, even though they were in the early morning. All tests are online, even the final. If you join the SGA, you can skip the final!

Professor Morgan is an amazing professor. Although I never got to meet him in person I took his class online. His deadlines were due at the end of the semester and we only had to do one journal writing. If you can make A's on his exams you can still pass without having to do the journal. If you're looking for a class that's not stressful take him.

Awesome professor! He is funny and very into government! He understands that not many want to take this class, but have to. The tests can be difficult, but they are open booknotes. Attendance is a grade, and he is very diligent about it. He wants his students to have a good future, and is willing to help you plan your career!

The class was pretty easy. He was funny and told a lot of anecdotes and life lessons, but he also talked about government too. He wasn't as exciting as the reviews made him sound, but it was still a pretty easy class. Only 9 "module" quizzes and one very small paper, no final. Show up on time though.

Professor Morgan is one of the best instructors I have ever had. He makes the lectures very interesting by using real life examples and engages students in discussions. Exams are all online with plenty of time, can be taken three times each. Few discussions for the course which he grades easily. Attendance is important. Overall, it's an easy A.

One of the funnest classes I have ever taken. Question your life everyday. Professor Morgan is unbelievably hilarious, intelligent, and snarky. The readings are really easy and short, as is the homework. The big assignment aligns up with want you want to do in life and is inspiring.

I took Texas Government online. Very organized and had everything you needed for the whole semester uploaded the very first day. Lots of little assignments for every chapter, but all very easy. Tests & quizzes all have the answers online on quizlet if you just google the question. Would definitely recommend taking this class online - easy A.

He is a great professor. His lectures to me did not seem to always match up with the exams, but they are easy either way. Exams are online which i really liked. Expects you to participate in class every so often.

Do not take him if you want an easy A, that's not what college is anyway. You will accidentally learn a thing or two in this class and you have fun doing it.

LOVE professor Morgan! Took him for the 2nd time (prev for 2305) and I could not be more content with my decision. As boring as TXGOV is, his lectures are engaging and he adds a lot of humor to it. He is willing to work with you and help you with getting a good grade. His lectures were sometimes a little hard to swallow because of the concepts. I used the textbook a ton.

He consistently engages the class to ensure everyone understands the material. His specialty lectures were my favorite part of the course.

You are crazy to consider any other teacher for the two GOV courses. He is fantastic. Heard about him through good word-of-mouth, and now I'm passing his name along too. I just took him for FED and will be taking him for TX next semester. Very clear grading. If you can't get an A in his course, you're not even trying. Love this guy!

Took Professor Morgan in a summer class and it was very straightforward and organized. A fair amount of reading, but that's expected for a 5-week class. Quizzes can be taken 3 times for the best grade and he is available for any questions. A great choice to finish the government requirements quickly and with little stress.

A genuine, hilarious professor. Textbook unneeded, laptop and electronic-friendly with fun, unique lectures. The whole course could be taken online. Attendance was a grade but in my opinion wasn't necessary. Still, I'd go purely for the laughs. As an introvert, I was skeptical (he can be interactive) but I've come to really enjoy and respect him.

EASY online course and all available from day 1. Provides all the slides and info needed. There's 18 chapters total, broken up into 6 modules that are due biweekly. Each chapter has like six separate assignments (all about 2-4 questions with links to the chart, video, etc.), then all 3 chapters combine to a module quiz (bit tougher)- can retake 3x

Professor Morgan has been one of my favorite professors. I took him for both Texas and US Government and loved both classes. Nearly all assignments and quizzes are online and at home (except for final). I was able to complete all assignments ahead of time. You are allowed to use textbook on the final. Lectures are always interesting. Extra Credit!

I truly love Professor Morgan. He was everything you would want in a professor. Understanding, caring, informative, and the list goes on. The material is all online but the lectures are required. He gives great extra credit opportunities. I wish all professors were like him.

I took him for federal and tx government! That shows that I loved this professor. The online classes were very organized and doable as you had a lot of time to get every assignment done. Have a question? Hell answer right away!

He also added bunch of extra credit opportunities after coronavirus outbreak. You would need the textbook in order to answer quizzes. Highly recommend him!

online summer class. the textbook is required for the Inquzitive software he uses which had 14 mini-quizzes (1 for each chapter) they are graded on completion. 1 research discussion board (its easy don't stress). 4 Module quizzes (each module quiz is based on 3-4 chapters) 1 Final exam. all quizzes and the final is open book, 3 attempts each.

Take this class!!! Super easy A! I took this class online and all we had were 3-4 quizzes 25 questions each and 14 inquzitive quizzes and one final exam. You can take all the quizzes and final 3 times and they are all open book.

Each module/chapter has multiple quizzes and you might feel overwhelmed just by looking at it, but most of them are 3-4 questions, so you can get through all them quickly & easily. This class is self-paced, so make sure you know the due dates for each assignment. Easy class. Easy A. If I could, I would take this professor again!

It looks like there are a lot of quizzes, but they're actually really short and pretty interesting. I would definitely take Prof. Morgan again! Also, at least in the section I took, NO WRITING except for the first assignment, which he gives you a good amount of time to complete.

EASY A!!! All of the chapter quizzes and tests were open book, there were a few Discussion Boards, but other than that, not much. I never needed to email or reach out to Professor Morgan, but he was good at sending out reminders for upcoming tests and quizzes. Good class, did not learn a whole lot though.

Awesome professor! Keeps you engaged the entire lecture. Would absolutely recommend, Very funny and just overall a great professor.

I wish i could take him again. Easy hw and easy test, most can be found online. Basically one discussion post and was also an easy grade. I registered for his second history but got put into a different class so I was upset about that, but if you need an easy grade Morgan is the way to go.

Very easy, 3 HWs every week/chapter. 5 Quiz: 50 questions that come from HWs every 3 weeks/chapters.

Easy class with minimal work. Assignments and tests are mostly open-book. Didn't learn too much but an A is guaranteed. unstuck ai was super helpful for study prep.
