Tuttle is a great professor. He answers any questions you could have and always has some way to relate the material. The tests are not difficult as long as you pay attention in class. Take this guys class if you have even a vague interest in psychology, even if your just filling out G.E.

Nick is a great professor! he is very enthusiast about psychology and makes the subject easy to understand. Fun guy, fun class. Really got me into learning psych and wanting to know more. Not the hardest class if you study a bit and if you can understand the more complex ideas. He's very helpful and like to get to know students and talk to them.

The tests for this class are harder than you would expect based on the way Nick lectures, but you can get an A if you study. Classes are interesting, but he talks about himself a lot so be prepared.

Nick is awesome as a person, but I question his tests. I'm pretty sure they were bought off line from the book, hence why they're so difficult. I agree that he does tend to talk about his life a lot, but he's so freaking gorgeous. SORRY it's true :] He's super nice and helpful though. You should be fine if you attend the classes and study the book.

No homework or quizzes. The final isn't cumulative either. Basically, come to class, participate & take notes. His class consist of 3 exams & one group presentation which hes a pretty easy grader on. He knows his stuff & wants his students to pass. Just make sure to read the book & study.

He talks about his life but that is interesting & also encourages us to talk about ourselves so I really got to know people in the class. It was a good, fun, interesting experience & I learned a lot. He is fabulous- explains everything really well and thoroughly. He is very personable, and makes the material in class seem tangible to life by asking individuals for their personal input. Nick Tuttle is a great teacher and knows his stuff. He really tries to engage with the class by having everyone share their own experiences. If you go to class his pp are pretty much the book but class is more fun. We cover like four chapters before a test so the test load is a lot. He gives you a study guide if you come to class to help out.

Nick Tuttle is a very interesting teacher filled with great energy and there is never a dull day in his class. His class is a lecture based class. His quizzes and final is very hard but if you study hard, you will do fine. The group project is very interesting and gives us the chance to choose a topic that we really like.

Nick is an awesome, knowledgable, and put together professor. He explains the material in such an easy, understandable way. Very organized, sends power points to students, prepares review sheet before tests that are helpful. Show up to class, use review sheets and put a little effort in and you're good to go.

Mr. Tuttle is a very passionate Educator. He is very knowledgeable with his content and keeps his students very engaged. took this class during the 6 week session online. there was a lot of reading. we read nearly an entire textbook, 10 chapters, through the semester. i readtook notes for 20 pages a day and felt comfortable. generous grading on final project and non-testquiz materials. if you miss online material with a deadline, he doesn't allow 2nd chances.

Nick is a super nice guy. Does really well at keeping the class engaged throughout the lecture and is pretty funny. The tests are really hard so make sure to study for them, but as long as you stay on his good side and work really hard, he will be very reasonable.

I took his Child Adolescent Psychology class. He is super helpful and readily available. His online tests are hard so study. He has interesting lectures and makes learning fun. He also allows for application of the knowledge you learn in class. If you like psychology and want to learn more about the subject he can only enhances your motivation.

Tuttle just really gets it. He is INCREDIBLY knowledgable and gives 110 percent everyday. He's very personable and makes EVERYONE feel significant. I never missed class simply because I never wanted to miss one of his lectures, they're THAT good. Homework is minimal and easy. Only two tests and a final: review powerpts and you're good. I would definitely recommend taking him. But I do think this would be a better class if he encouraged some online discussionparticipation. I was also disappointed that I didn't receive any feedback on my final paperproject. I was happy with my grade for the class, but it would have been helpful to have at least some brief comments on my paper.

Tuttle is an amazing teacher. Although the lectures are long, he makes them bearable and a lot of the lecture is class discussion. There aren't that many tests but as long as you pay attention in class, then they should be easy.

Took his online class, and would definitely recommend it to others. You need the online book, (but you can have a paper copy sent to you for $20), and it was $80. It was very helpful and I wish my other profs used it. He's very receptive and really tries to help you learn! All his lectures are YouTube videos, but I never watched one and got A.

I took this class online but Nick was very responsive to questions. There is a lecture, quiz, and reading with questions to do each week but it is completely manageable. His lectures are recorded and interesting. His enthusiasm for the subject made it very enjoyable.

He's one of my favorite professors that I've taken at Foothill. His lectures are awesome and he's very knowledgable. He's also a very approachable guy and I truly looked forward to his lecture. His test's are fairly easy, 2 take home online exams and 1 in class final. The only down side to was a group presentation towards the end.

I took online class, his lectures are amazing, very fun and helpful. But the website we use for homework sucks. There are three super hard mid-terms, 80 questions for 80 minutes, no time to look for the answer so you have to understand everything. For final project, you have to finish a 3000-word paper and record a video.

He is very caring for his students and tries his best to give everyone a shot at getting an A. He is also very passionate about psych and tells the class he is not working because this is his passion. Study the material, participate as much as you can and you should get an A.

Prof. Tuttle is so funny. I recommend you to take his normal class days & not hybrid because if you don't have very good time management, its hard! Professor Tuttle's hybrid class was awesome, but if you want to pass you must do all online quizzes. No essays required other than one which is optional at the end of the quarter. Your options are: class powerpoint, video powerpoint, or writing an essay of 5000 words. I learned a lot in his class. he's not boring, and he makes class fun to learn

he is a great prof, but he makes you purchase a 100$ online book for HW. he once said something horrible about killing animals. otherwise, he is nice. exams get harder as course goes on, include essay, but r non-cumulative which is awesome! his classes are very interesting. easy a, with about 2-3 hr work per week! his online hw is not very hard.

Although the online book is required to finish assignments, tests (including midterms and finals) are easily passable without it, as long as you payed attention to his lectures. Many test questions pertain to his entertaining class discussions. An overall engaging, fun class.

Took this class purely online, and one was one of the easier online classes that I've taken, but there is a TON of work to be done. Have to read textbook and answer 100 terms related to each one, and do 3 exams. The Final project is also a pretty big project, but if started earlier is doable. Cool dude and a cool class.

Actively goes out of his way to show that he cares about his students, even just a simple "hey, x got a haircut." Is very clear in his speech, clearly cares about his work and knows his stuff. Gives interesting lectures. Very approachable and nice.

Tuttle is a great Professor. Would highly recommend taking him as credit and/or if youre interested in psyc. In his lectures, he spends a lot of time explaining each concept, providing real-world examples to help everyone understand. There is not a lot of homework for this class (one hw each week), and all the content on the tests is in-class.

His passion for the class motivates me to come. However, your grade is based on 5 things: midterm, participation, final project, final exam, and online homework. Coming to class is not enough for good participation grade, you must speak. Exams are heavily based on lectures, NOT online homework so attendance is key. Overall great teacher!

Be prepare to write, MIdterm and final are at least 500 words per question. Final is a ten page essay. This professor is great at his job and take time to explain in great detail.

Since it was an online class, the videos that Prof Tuttle uploaded were helpful and specific. The guidelines were very clear, however, if you had questions for him, he would either take a couple days to a week to respond (or never). The final is a 2000 worded paper so get ready for that.

I don't know about his in person course, but for his online course, you will have to dedicate a bit of time to his class. This being said, if you pay attention to the lectures and read the material, you should actually learn quite a bit, unlike other classes. He is a very understanding teacher and in any case, always send him an Email.

Layout of class is easy to grasp. Weekly smartbook and discussion assignments; one big group research project. Pretty laidback and understanding teacher--that being said there was not a lot of guidance during research project but it's pretty straightforward. You can do well in this class as long as you do most of the assignments. Would recommend

He is enthusiastic and it's clear that he wants his students to do well. He is attentive to email. He makes the class personable in that his lectures give examples using his own life experience. I was taking Spring term and it was a short term so a lot was packed into it. Most challenging part was the research paper at the end of the class.

Prof Tuttle is amazing! I loved to watch his lecture videos on YouTube, but I do wish there were more for the last few chapters! The class is well structured, and the amount of work assigned was reasonable. Every week, you have to read a chapter (ranges from 30-50 pages), do a reading quiz, and, if applicable, watch a lecture video + a video quiz.

Great professor, especially if you were looking to take this class to fulfill your GE requirements. He has really interesting lectures and he provides examples for each topic reviewed. He is organized with the structure of the class and I would consider majoring in Psychology just because of the way he teaches.

Took his online psyc 100 and then psyc 200 online over the summer. Super cool guy that provides excellent lectures/advice. Read the book+listen to the lectures, and the final research paper should be easy to bang out. It was so refreshing to have such a competent professor. Anyone complaining about his class seemingly did not put much effort.

Professor is a great personal overall. Each week consists of a quiz or exam, and sometimes a discussion board. There is also a small research paper that is assigned later in the quarter. Only thing is the quizzes are heavily reliant on what he says in the lecture rather than actual content. He also drops the two lowest quiz and discussion grades.
