The best class I have attended at TCC. I also took her summer session and it was great.

Professor Horn is one of THE best professors at TCC, right up there with Professor Hacker and Professor Fortner, yea she's THAT good! She is the one who inspired me to major in Political Science. Smart, fun, and she always looks stylish!! :D

I had professor Horn for Summer II class. She is a great teacher. Yes, she does tell off the wall stories but they are great! She explains everything in depth. If you take this class during the summer DO NOT MISS A CLASS! It is super hard to make up for what you missed! Overall, fantastic teacher would LOVE to have her again!

For a mandatory class professor Horn made it cool. She is young, honest and energetic so that makes the class not so boring. Class discussions are fun. You should get an 'A' if you show up, take notes, and do the reviews before the exams. She did not require the book for this class. If you have half a brain and just do the above, you will do fine.

She was a pretty good teacher. I had her summer class, pretty much just show up, take notes, and do the review before the test and you'll get an A. If you get an A on all tests your exempt from the final. It was an easy A

I took her for State & Local Gov and she is amazing!! She is fun & lively. Her tests are easy as long as you come to class, take good notes, & do the review she gives you. We also watch movies that are pretty interesting in there. u have get a 45 or higher on the test which are out 50 in order to not take the final. There is NO TEXTBOOK required

LOVE HER. Great at explaining. Tests are from notes. (I didn't open my book once.) Grades on a point scale. Awesome personality, bubbly, funny, passionate. I have recommended her 4-5 times since I had her. She made me want to stay in GOVT. AWESOME teacher. I would have had an A, but I skipped the final. And she's adorable.

She is a really good professor. Came in mid semester after original instructor left. Taught us well in the short time she had.

Too bad she is married because she is really cute, and I think she used to have her eyebrow pierced. I had her class at UTA. Easy class, funny, informative and fast paced. She is a democrat, like most POLS profs, but she doesnt ram it down your throat. Easy A and highly recommended, even for Republicans.

I enjoying having this class even though i did not pass the class.This teacher is very adorable she make me want to go class often because she is funny,nice,friendly most of the time.I would recommended taking this class! Just study and you be fine

She is completely awesome, I am so glad I signed up for this class last minute. As long as you come to class, listen, and take a few notes you will do fine in this class. This teacher has the remarkable ability to make you care about government. I actually had fun in this class, and she gets a lot of people riled up in arguments! Great class.

WOW!! Professor Horn is amazing!! Young, smart, driven, funny, beautiful, fashion savvy AND politically active!!! This woman was my inspiration to pursue a career in Politics! I never had a role model growing up and I give this woman credit for making me see how important it is to be politically involved!

Awesome at lecturing!Very passionate, and extremely liberal. Does not use book, lecture only. Must show up everyday to do well in her class.Class is alot of fun and she makes it interesting. Must take lots of notes so dont miss.took her in summer, 3exams.But exempt from final if you get all A's. Take her she's so fun, and gets you going!

There are no notes, except what you take yourself. However, her tests do go pretty well along with what she goes over. I never answered questions because she makes people feel stupid if they aren't right. Then when noone answered, she made is feel stupid for not answering. She is probably better than some old teacher, but I won't be taking her agai

She?s a wonderful teacher. Don?t get a book you will never use it everything is lecture so take a lot of notes. If you go to class you will pass. She?s pretty hot so you'll also have something nice to look at. She?s funny intelligent and knows how to make Govt fun. Easiest teacher I have by far ^^

Professor Horn definitely has a passion for government. She is lively and keeps class interesting. She is pretty liberal - but doesn't try to force her views. Gives out a tip sheet before each test, which you will need to study to pass. She also assigns a group project which is worth a large grade. My only pet peeve is that she cussed a tad.

Excellent professor! Lectures were fun and went by quick. The tests are not easy, but if you attend class, take notes, and study you will do very well. Liked so much I'm taking next semester for Texas Govt.

Prof. Horn?s class is an OK class. She teaches what you need to know and you must know those materials. She does not teach from book, so you gotta attend class and take lots of notes. If you review those notes before the exam, you will be fine. If you make A?s on all exams, you can be exempt from final. Overall, she?s a good professor.

Professor Horn is a very nice teacher. She's very enthusiastic about politics. You must attend class and take good notes. Your exams are directly based off of your notes that you take.

I was dreading taking this class because most history/govt teachers are mono-toned. Mrs. Horn made this class fun & entertaining. She is very peppy and gets excited when teaching. I would rank her in the top 5 professors I've had. I also took her TX Govt class this semester. Her tests are 100% off her notes. You don't need the book.

I literally can't believe the few negative comments I have read. I have never heard Prof. Horn cuss. She does tell SOME off subject stories but they are always interesting and she keeps things interesting in general. Just like everyone else has already said, DO NOT buy the book. Tests are strictly from lectures. So, go to class and take notes.

Yeah she curses a bit but shes awesome no book needed and you have to go to class if you want to pass. All her tests are lecture bassed but shes awesome and supper easy I love her spazzy attitude because it makes the class fun I plan to take her again

Professor Horn is an amazing professor..I'm actually taking another class of hers next semester!!! The lectures are loud and fun... No powerpoints so take good notes and STUDY!!

Great teacher. You must attend class because tests are based off of notes. That's not a problem though as it has been one of the ONLY lectures I WANT to attend. Intriguing, full of energy & loves debates. Don't be fooled by her relaxed nature, you must study for an A.

she is awesome! She keeps interesting and doesnt require much. I didnt buy the book or read one chapter! just listen in class, take good notes and ur good! You only have a few pop quizes 4 tests and one project.

Really great teacher! Her class is very entertaining, plus lots of debate. She is very much a liberal, but she is very respectable in debate. I highly recommend her!

She is a good teacher and will help you out if needed. Notes are clear, but she goes fast. I advise taking note on laptop. No textbook needed, she is pretty down to earth.

Great Teacher. 4 test 2 quizes or a project. Had her in both 2305 and 2306. You will not need a book. You must go to class. She gives a review. Take good notes. I loved her. You will know what to write down during her lectures. She is a great teacher. You can handle an additional class while taking her class.

I love this teacher! She is really funny and has strong opinions. She makes government as exciting as it can get. You need to go to class and you need to take notes. She gives good reviews and you don't need to get a textbook. She's such a good teacher and LOVES her Texas Rangers!

You don't need the book (save money, and she will tell you to save money throughout the class). Pretty cool teach, but you have to show up and you must take notes. I will actually have her next semester for my govt. requirements.

Great lessons. You have to go to class and take the notes though. The tests are based on those notes but she gives you a review through e-mail. She's having a review day before finals too. Her tests are kind of difficult to make A's on, and you don't have any homework grades (only quizzes, tests, and projects). You gott'a be a good test-taker!

She doesnt use the text book. She lectures, and as long as you take notes, this class is an easy A. Some people say her test are hard, but I made flash cards and thought they were really easy. If you make an A on your 3 test, then you dont have to take the final. There is no homework, just 3 test, 2 quizzes and a project.

Let me start by saying that she needs 2 of those chili peppers next to her name. 3 tests, 3 pop quizes and 1 group project. No homework, take good notes because she doesn't use power point. If you have an A in the class, you are exempt from the final. She doesn't use the book either. She loves her job and makes GOVT fun :)

I took Professor Horn for both US and TX government and she's fabulous! During the semester you do a group project and write a paper (along with 3 exams). However, if you take her US gov class in the summer she takes it easy on the students and gets rid of the group project and the paper so you only take 3 multiple choice exams! Easy A!

I loved her!! She is so funny, and will tell it how it is. She gives a review for every test, so if you study you should make a B+ or and A! Only negative would be her research project. I had a good group, but it was all semester long which was very annoying! I would recommend her to my friends!

Best professor ever! Very knowledgeable,interesting,funny,always willing to help.I took her for both govt and would take her class again if I need to.Take her class and you will be glad you did.There is no professor like her.

Go to class,take notes, pay attention,go over review for tests = A. She tries to simplify as much as possible. Some uber-conservatives in our class tried to say their ideas are facts but she explained that they wouldn't change her mind and she realized she probably wouldn't change theirs either. She's pretty objective but shares her opinion.

She makes class interesting with her easy-going lectures. But pay attention, record & take good notes. everything she says will be on the test.she is super liberal, please don't be like the annoying self-proclaim republicans in my class who tried to challenge her ideas & authority each day-just don't take her. she's open to ideas though.

If it's on the board, write it down. No book. She is entertaining and she doesn't assign homework outside of a simple group project. I have heard horror stories about other TCC government instructors and was very pleased with selecting her. I wouldn't call her hot but she's a petite little thing around 30. Good class if you're busy outside school.

I just took her class this last semester and she was awesome. All you need to do is take notes on her lectures and study the stuff on the review she emails you before each test. You'll be golden, if you just do those two things. She's very outspoken, so you'll hear her political opinions quite a bit. Oh and don't get the book.

Very, very helpful when you need it! you don't need to buy the book. She knows what she is talking about. Information you're tested on is very clear. She is LIBERAL, and voices it. I share the same views, so it didn't bother me. She also teaches at UTA, I think. Very pretty, very smart, great teacher.

In a nutshell if you attend the class and work on the exam review you will make an A. The textbook is not required at all. After taking this class I made a 180 degrees turn in my political views. I decided to ditch the right wing and be liberated. Mrs Horn taught me that you can be successful and wealthy, help the community and accepting others.

EASY A. come to class take notes, you will have no problem Acing the test.I took this as my first eight week course and it was definitely a great choice. If you are a super conservative republican I urge you not to take this class however, she is a huge liberal and doesn't care about offending anyone. Even still easy class and you actually learn.

A good teacher. Lots of information. You must take notes. She send out emails with her Test hints. Very helpful and interesting, even if you don't agree with her.

Professor Horn is amazing. She teaches like how real University level professors teach. One essay, one group project, and four exams, that's it. Her tests are straight from lecture and super easy. Lectures are interesting and mutual. Highly recommend.

Mrs. Horn is the sweetest. She definitely has liberal views, but she lets everyone speak their opinion, and is respectful. Her tests are exactly from the notes and she makes the subject very interesting. She's one of the best professors I've had at TCC so far.

LOVED Mrs. Horn's class. She's very short and fiery and opinionated, but that's what makes you remember what she says. Lots of class time is used for discussion over topics, but you HAVE to be in class to get the info. Pick a good group for the project! She was a great teacher, definitely would recommend her to anyone!

Professor Horn was/is an outstanding professor. Class was extremely easy. Took it on Saturday mornings hardly stayed full time. She test directly from what she writes on the whiteboard and reviews were always given. 3 exams and 1 paper all worth 50 points each. Come to class and take notes - she does not give notes. EASY A!!

This class ok. For the most part this is an easy A. The book is completely unnecessary. I bought it and took it back the next day. She made a couple of questionable grading decisions but I still ended up with an A. You have to have this course and overall she is probably as good as any other professor so go for it.

great class, the teacher is fun she is great at teaching the material the test are straightforward, she makes it so when you take notes it flows easy. and she loves Base Ball with a passion, just don't wear other hats other then Rangers to class, and she is lets just say has a very sassy character

Great!Very helpful and as long as you show up to class to take notes or have a friend who you can get notes from you will be fine. She is fair and passoniate about what she is teaching.

She may be liberal, but I had no problems in her class (I'm conservative). She was willing to give extra credit. There were many days where we got out early. She gives test hints a week before the tests. I had fun in her class and if I hadn't already taken Texas government, I'd take it with her.

She is really easy teacher i took her second time for TX GOV. I got B for FED GOV she is really great teacher she don't recommended book just focus on her lecture. exams are really easy if you do study.

She is very easy, laid back, and straight forward. She doesn't really sugar coat anything. She had three tests, one homework assignment, and one group project. All easy. No book needed. Be in class for the notes! The tests are over the notes. I really like her style. She is what you would call a "cool" teacher.

She was a nice lady and was easier than I thought. She also believed that buying the book would be a waste of money because she writes on the board on what will be on the test. taking her was no mistake and I would recommend her to anybody at TCC northeast campus.

Mrs. Horn is an amazing prof by far! She is very straight forward and if you get easily offended and then whine about it then don't take her class because she will offend you sooner or later with her own opinions. Don't buy the book as she does not use it but be sure to know to write notes and write fast, all of her tests are from the notes

Horn was a great teacher. Good lectures and often let class out early. Gives a group project that lasts through most of the semester. Gives review for test a week in advance and mirrors the test. Will answer your questions. I would take this class again. Doesn't give homework, and never even bought the textbook.

I have taken her Texas Gov and Fed Gov the course were clear. The study guides that were given helped to study for her test as long as you take the notes in class you wont need the books you can study from your notes. Amazing teacher. i would take her course again.

I took this class last semester and couldn't wait to take her again for Texas Government! Her lectures are very informative. As long as you show up to class and take very vivid notes, you should have no problem getting an A in her class. She is a very clear grader and is very helpful if you have any questions. All of her tests are based on notes.

Amazing professor. Her lectures are clear and she makes the class interesting. She's really outgoing and knows her material. She is one of the best Teacher, I have ever taken in school. She is fun, with characters, and clear. it doesn't bother to record her. This is an easy A class. Take note if you want to pass because there is no books and no powerpoint. She does give review for exam.

Professor Horn is FANTASTIC! Her lectures are fun and interesting. She actually has a great style that makes government not boring. She is funny and an absolute asset to TCC!She knows her stuff. Professor Horn is by far my favorite teacher! Her style of teaching mixes her outgoing personality and knowledge of government to make every class as interesting and entertaining as possible. I might be a little biased because i am very interested in government, but even if its not your subject she will make you atleast start to think about it more

Professor Horn is one busy woman, but she has an amazing turn around time for graded tests. Her lectures are interesting and all information needed is given through lectures. She even gives you a guide on topics she will be testing beforehand. Extra credit was a plus, and is sure to give credit where due in the one group assignment given.

I was dreading this class! I must say Professor Horn made the TX Govt bearable. Some complained about her politics however, I think she was able to maintain a balance. Some people have no tolerance for other views and go in class with a closed mind. I would definitely take one of her classes again!

I highly recommend Professor Horn. She treats you like the adult that you are, and as long as you study you will pass. I rarely showed up for class but still passed with a "B" thanks to her power points, and study guides.
