Mr C is a such a great professor. If you don't understand something, he will take the time to clarify. He cares about his students a lot and really does take his teaching seriously. If you do all his work, you will pass with an A.

Mr. C is a very passionate teacher. His guidelines are clear and if you follow them you're sure to get an A. His lectures are fun and filled with real life examples. His test are well structured and easy to score on. If you want to learn about business take this class.

Mr. C is a remarkable professor, he makes the class really interesting that you wouldn't want to miss a single one, the tests are pretty decent if you study, he gives you a list of questions and you can use a 3x5 card. I still keep in touch with Mr. C, he is a really educated and respectful teacher who will help you in your school endeavors.

Professor Carbonaro is a very fun and dynamic professor. He makes concepts very simple to understand by using real world examples and his own experiences. Great and respectable professor overall. His class was one of my favorites.

Kickass professor. The BEST professor I've had for a class. Puts things in a way that most people can understand and uses good examples when trying to explain something. I've taken two classes with him so far and each time I felt that I couldn't have learned more about the subject.

First class with Mr. C, cut and dry as to what was expected from you, also reasonably easy to work with. His lectures were progressive and entertaining, really incorporated with business today. Grades are a total reflection of the students effort, this class is not easy but it is not complicated.

I forgot to turn in a big case study but there is no late work so my grade dropped largely. Would've got an A. Otherwise, really easy

Mr. C is a fabulous professor. His lectures incorporate real life examples and situations to enhance the material. Get to know him well and he'll be willing to help you out in your academic endeavors long after you leave his class.

He is a great professor. the lecture is clearly based on the textbook, but he also provides usuful business method from his experience. The best part is he trys to make students literaly understand or obtaine nessesary information of business. I difinetely want to take his class again.

I took his class in the spring '14 and he made it a very pleasant class to attend. He was not over-explaining the material and is able to grade group work at the individual level. So, even if you end up in a flaky group, he will recognize the individual effort and participation. I will be taking his GBUS 10 class this upcoming winter session.

Mr. Carbonaro is a great professor and I suggest students to take classes with him. In my personal life the Personal Finances class was great and help me a lot on my daity life. He is responsible, he has a multiples qualities. I really like and enjoy to have him as my professor

Very clear lectures and will explain everything with real life situations that everyone can understand. 4 tests throughout the year, tests are easy if you do the study guide for each one. Do all assignments theres only a couple but their worth a lot of your grade.

I took an online course, GBUS 10, he is a great teacher. Easy class as long as you do your work.

I've taken a few of his classes. He's funny, honest, clear, fair, interesting and very kind. He sets you up to do well in his class, I HIGHLY recommend him. LBCC is beyond lucky to have Nick Carbonaro. His classes are engaging and built to ensure that you walk away with life-applicable lessons. Do yourself a favor and take one of his classes!

He has lots of real life experiences and he ties those in with the materials we learn in class. That helps the students understand a lot better. He is awesome!!!

Professor C is a mixed bag, but overall a solid teacher. He is new and is willing to try new things in class. A very modern type class and what I expect college to be like. Very informative and personable. Listen and engage and you will do fine.

There are four exams and one final exam. You need to focus on your note, and you will get A. And there is a group project which is a fun part. He is very organized. He grades everything,and replies your email pretty fast. The best teacher I've ever had at LBCC.

He spends the extra time making sure everyone understands what's going on in class. His personality is mesmerizing and he keeps the class interested by making the subject relatable. If you have an issue, just talk to him and he'll be more than willing to help you out. I am so glade I took his class.

Mr.c was awesome! Made material easy to understand. Gave study guides for each test which helped a lot! Do not miss a case study! it literally dropped my grade to a B

This was my second class with Mr. C, and it was even better then the first. There were daily lectures, but he makes them fun and puts several of his personal experiences into them to connect to us students. Would highly recommend him to anyone who asks. Few homework assignments and four exams that were easy due to the study guides he gives.

Dude is cool, went to USC and the swag rubbed off on him. Very chill though, and informative. I would recommend writing down his lecture as he draws it out on the board. He uses a lot of tech, mostly its an opportunity to network with your classmates so have fun.

Learned a lot from his class. I took his online class and I found it very interesting and easy. There is a bit of Math involved (of course since it is about personal finance), tests are fairly easy as long as you read. Gives you more than one attempt on the quizzes. There is a weekly forum to help keep you engaged. Simple! Would recommend him.

Professor Carbonaro is an amazing professor that really cares about his students. He gives good feedback, is inspirational, caring, hilarious, clear on grading and has amazing lectures. I was always excited to go to class. I got paired with a group that wouldn't do their work. However, he took this into consideration and gave us each a fair grade.

He explains the topics very good and uses real world examples for everything. The tests do have more than we go over in class so reading the textbook is mandatory. He has a youtube channel and livestreams so students can ask questions. Overall, cool guy.

The type of person he really in this industry. All his lesson is updated with the content of social media. But his test hard. he made you read the website or video on canvas to get a good grade

Great class that makes you consider your future

All of his assignments and tests were done online in class. As long as you keep up with the work, you'll be fine. He lets you bring 1 flashcard to help during the tests. He's really chill and makes class fun by sharing personal experiences. He gives out study guides and makes youtube videos that help with the test!

Excellent Instructor!

Put me on game for how to create wealth and keep it. Must take this class if you want to learn what the real world is all about. You have to ask questions if you want more in depth knowledge since this class covers a lot of material

Professor Carbonaro is an awesome professor. His classes are not boring at all. Easy homework assignment all done online. Drops your lowest quiz grade. Attendance and participation is graded and needed to pass. Quizzes do not have that many questions so reading the book is necessary to pass the quizzes. Allows you to bring a 3 x 5 card for quizzes.

Mr. C is a great teacher that really knows what he is doing. His class is my favorite class I've taken at LBCC and I highly recommend him anyone interested in business. Take it in person and use all the resources he gives you and you'll come out of the semester knowing a lot more than you used to.

My final test did not sync in time and he refused to count it. I had over 100% in the class and all of my assignments had been turned in early. He was able to see the test was taken and when it was taken, I just was not successful in turning in A SCREEN SHOT! He knew I was a working mom and felt no compassion, my grade went from A++ to B+.

Professor Carbonaro is great! Although his class does require a lot of homework, it's fairly easy as long as you do the reading. I'm truly impressed with how quickly he graded our work and how clear his grading criteria are. I would literally submit an assignment and probably would have a grade within the hour (if that). Absolutely recommend him.:)

Pretty great learning material.

I had Mr. C for Intro to Personal Finance. His class was one of my favorites yet! Everything we learned about in this class is important and relevant to the real world. He really went above and beyond to make sure we understood the material. Grades ware inputted almost immediately. Class is a breeze if you do your work. Awesome professor overall!

i have to say i really enjoyed professor Carbonaro's class. it is presented in a straightforward way with real world examples. very approachable and willing to help you work through the problem i appreciated the fluidity of the course and how it streamlined because it was based off of the book he published for the course. more teachers like him!

Professor Nicholas is an exceptional instructor who gets right to the point! If you are considering majoring in business, I strongly advise you to enroll in all of his business courses... I assure you that if you attend every class meeting and do your homework, you will earn an A. My all-time favorite instructor at Long Beach City College.

This class was awesome

To be honest everything was from an external source. All students needed to pay around $100-150$ of an external program in where we would get homework assignments and test from . The teacher wouldn't teach us directly. I wouldn't say that was a bad idea expect it was mandatory in order to be successful in class.

Nick Carbonaro provides a plethora of useful information. There was too much homework for me to absorb everything. The course content is solid and showed me the steps I need to build a successful business and presence online and on social media. I will be taking the course again, as extenuating circumstances interrupted my focus.

Professor Carbonaro was a good instructor, he was very supportive of his students making sure we had understanding of what was being taught. Also accessible when we needed questions answered for clarity. I would take his class again and I would recommend his class to anyone.

Definitely don't procrastinate. He's strict on deadlines but you have chances to fix your mistakes on homework. Really good professor. I took a Hybrid class and it was honestly one of the best I've took at LBCC. He offers so many resources and tools that outlast your period in his class. All his projects are actually useful and he's very understanding. In person classes are mandatory as there are participation assignments. Definitely recommend his classes.
