Very nice professor, i took WRT 101 over the summer and he was alway there if i need it any healp, a lot of short essays to do, but at the end it works out well...In my openion he is the best English professor in BCC....:0)~

Nick is one of the best teachers at BCC. He is always there to help about an assignment, and a fairly easy grader. If you go to class is you will do well. Also if you want to have an intellectual conversation, Nick is your guy. (Especially about murder trials, LOL)

He is a nice guy. I recomended him. If you attend to class you will do great.

very freaking cool teacher! kinda weird in the beginning but then you get used to him. class is really easy. he usually talks thru the whole class and the papers that he assigns r a piece of cake. VERY helpful if you feel lost in the class. also very friendly with his students...highgly recommended.

Yo.. Nick is a good teacher, but the final is hard. Don't underestimate him, pay attention, in the end it will pay off. Easy A if you're not sleeping in his class.

Alot of writing, but what the hell, it's writing 101. Kind of funny, looks and sounds like woody allen, definitally hangs out at starbucks, but cool guy. You have to speak up for him to hear you. Nick often gives quotes, that, at the time may seem irrelivant, but write them down, cause he puts them on the test. He also studies law.

This guy is the coolest teacher I had as a freshman. He doesn't pount you with work. He gives you advice that will help you in your next College courses...He's easy going and likes to joke...Never Yells...You really do Learn in his class...His assignments are interesting and alway different, they'll have you trying to impress him, always.

Nick might not be able to hear very well and he migh go off topic but that is just what makes him Nick. He is a great teacher who knows alot about the subject. I would suggest that anyone taking wrt 101 take nicks class he will make it worthwhile i promise. Nick it was fun having you as a teacher. Thank you

asa freshaman i came in not knowing what i would expect and nick showed me the ropes. he is a good teacher who will not only help u in the classroom but will help in life. he gives excellent feedback and is very helpful. i suggest everyone take a class with nick if you have the chance.

He reminds me of Napolean Dynamite. He's really nice---and funny.

this man is absolutly crazy but he is discustingly smart. he can usually explain somethin in 10 minutes but takes like an hour and a half. good class if you want a life lesson. he looks like nepolean dynamite

All around great guy! Looked forward to his classes. He gave me a totally different view of reading and righting. I would recommend to anyone with open mind. Do the work and get that A.

Sweetest and nicest person I have met. He likes to joke a lot. Work is not that bad just make sure to do the corrections he gives you. Exam was open book make sure to take all the notes & read over stories. I loved his class and would take it over again. I thought he would be a bad teacher because of the ratings. Was wrong! Love him!

Nick is extremely quirky. The first day he will seem unbearable insane, but you will learn to love him. The course is 50% portfolio and 50% final, both of which are handed in on the last day. All previous assignments are ungraded or graded with smilies. Minimal reading from stories he provides. An easy A if you keep up.

The best English teacher you could ever take. He is smart and funny. You will not fall asleep on his class whatsoever.

Funniest guy ever. He wears glasses like Harry Porter and wears the same color shirt and pants. Easy A great teacher amazing personality.

He is so sweet, funny, and i really recommend him, because if you do the work, you will pass with a descent grade. He doesn't give work overload, so don't worry.

Excellent professor. Understands what it's like to be a student and sit behind a desk, and actually loves to teach and make students learn. He's very motivating and actually pushes you to appreciate writing and develop your own style, rather then being tyrannic about it. Recommended to anyone who attends class to learn, and better themselves.

Nick is by far the best teacher I?ve had since attending BCC. The course work is very light. As long as you participate, do your work, and keep your portfolio up to date you will do fine. Attendance is a must. All of the homework is reviewed your next class by Nick so you must attend. Take this teacher you will not be disappointed.

Quirky, awesome, passionate professor. Fairly light workload. Makes you do 3 different studies about 3 short stories. He gives you all the answers so make sure to take notes. No textbook. Not the easiest grader, but an A is possible. Hes very clear with all assignments. I feel I became a better writer. I definitely recommend him.

an all around good professor, you will have to do a research paper and three lengthy studies. Be sure to copy down word-for-word everything he says about the stories for the study. You will need to compile everything he says about the story for the study questions.

Professor Nick is great! Very silly guy with a lot of insight. Truly cares for his students and each of their futures. Tells a lot of jokes to keep the class interesting, while opening your mind to become a better thinker--and writer of course. Take his class.

Pretty boring... pretty easy though, you only get one grade which is your portfolio of all the work you've done throughout the semester. Talks a lot, but he means well. Great person, pretty funny, pretty boring though. Recommend, I guess.

He is an excellent teacher, His sense of humor is a little weird, but he always made me laugh. The readings were easy and the class sessions were enjoyable.

Professor Costantino is super cool, nice guy. He's nerdy, but extremely passionate and the class is so easy. You write all the papers in class, word process them, and put them in your portfolio. Show him your portfolio twice and you pretty much get an A.

I was expecting writing 101 to be so difficult . But not with nick, he gives a true or false quiz and 150 words essay for an interesting article every week and that's it. no mid no final just an open discussion about the article. He is funny and goes out of the topic every 2 minutes. But still amazing.

Very particular and talks a lot, but listen to Nick and do the work and you will become a better writer. No textbook because the articles you read are at his website.

I wouldn't recommend taking Costantino's classes unless you are serious about writing and can handle having a professor with a vibrant personality (this requires being able to tolerate stories about his trips to the supermarket). His exams are easy, but when it comes to writing assignments, he is very pedantic, especially with formatting.

I'm a returning student. Had Prof. C. for 201 and it was one of th best classes I've taken. Straightforward. No busy work. Knows what he's talking about. Fair workload and VERY helpful feedback. No textbook: everything you need (except for the movies) is at the website for the class. Am a better reader and writer because of Prof. C.

Shows you how to read a story so you can make sense of it. He comments on papers a lot and is very specific but I followed his suggestions and my writing definitely got better. A nice guy and very funny at times.

Professor C. is an excellent professor. He is very clear as to what he expects of you. He gives lots of quizzes very easy if you read the assignment. He is very fair and helpful. The course is not difficult as long as you do the work and show up to class. My essay skills have improved quite a bit.

He was a fine professor for composition, but much different from my WRT-101 professor. I thought his class would be much harder than 101 with a research paper, but mainly just short stories and then a quiz, test, and sometimes a proof on them. The quizzes and tests aren't hard if you understand the story well. He really liked my class!

The best lecturer I've had so far in college. He is quit helpful and you have to know what you are doing in college to earn your grade. If you like to skip class, then he is your wrong choice; attend every class and do what you have to do, AESY A.

He's a real nice guy. I love his personality. But teaching is another story. He talks about the readings the entire time. He is very boring, dry and monotone. But you have to pay attention because he actually says the answers to the quizzes as hes talking. I would recommend this class for an easy A.

Nick's class should be called "Reading, REASONING, & Writing" -- he really shows you how to understand characters in stories, and how to figure out what the stories are about. VERY helpful & nice: met Nick at DD's to discuss the personal statement for my transfer application; he edited the statement -- and he treated for coffee.

Costantino is great! Very passionate and talks a lot! A llittle weird but nice weird. Gives A LOT of suggestions for improving ur writing. supplies the stories so theres no textbook to buy.

A great help all the time, always explains the reading clearly during lectures, and constantly cracks jokes. A joy to have a class for, would recommend him without a doubt.

He's not bad, the class just sort of drags on and he's a big fan of having assignments/quizes/group work done every single class. The quizes can be frustrating because they're based on articles he'll assign and he'll ask really random questions from them. But overall he's funny. Only bad thing is every attendance counts, no abensces.

Professor Costantino is a bit quirky but engaging. While his lectures can meander, he provides plenty of helpful feedback on writing. Using unstuck study and the free materials helped me stay on track and earn a solid grade.
