This guy must be one of the NICEST people on the planet! The MOST helpful & student-friendly professor I have ever encountered. Makes class interesting & really cares about his students' understanding of the material, especially if science isn't your bag of cheese. Definitely reccommended! A++++++++++++++++++++++++

Great teacher. He cares a lot about his students making a good grade. Extremely easy A. This is a great teacher to take if you work and go to school. He's pretty funny and tells great stories that relate to the material being covered in class. I don't have any interest in any science, but I am able to listen attentively during his class.

Mr. Ergun's class was the highlight of my week. He always has great lectures, even if his notes are a grammatical nightmare! He's really funny and let's everyone have a good time. If you pay attention, you'll learn a lot...and even if you don't you'll get a good grade. Great professor...such a nice guy...definitely take him!!!

eassiest class i ever took. Not because he gives you the grade well a little. He goes over every Q on the test b4. If you need a science i recomend you take this one. This is a class to enjoy and have fun. You need to write a paper but he's easy on the grading. I got a 100 still in high school and im not a child prodigy. Does that term apply here?

One of the best professors @ IRCC. He knows his subject well & can relate it in an interesting & informative way. Wants everyone to succeed. I was not interested in taking this particular class but needed the science credit. I AM GLAD THAT I TOOK HIS CLASS. HE IS WONDERFUL!

Nick is agreat prof. He likes what he does, and it shows. He's funny too. Class isn't unnecessarily hard - just give some effort and you'll get an "A".

Easiest class I've ever taken. Only hard part was staying awake and taking all his notes. Book is totally optional. 1 of first 3 tests dropped, a paper, a comprehensive final, and 5% attendance.

Definetly take his class! I don't know much about Science, but he's great and helpful. He really tries his best to help you. I only looked at the Study Guide and got a B. Impossible to fail his class. I wish he taught more Sciences, I'd take him for all of them. If you need a Science class take Earth Science with him you won't regret it.

I really enjoyed his class, and one of the easiest class. He helps you a lot during class and for tests. Just do the study guides and you will easily pass. He really enjoys teaching and he makes his class more fun. I learned interesting things about the subject. Just take it for fun!! and I am sure you will love it..NJOY!

Excellent teacher! Lots of notes and handouts. Dont get the book. I never opened it. Makes Earth Science alot of fun even when "rocks" can be boring. If you need a scince class take him. He is the best!!!!!!

If you show up to class write the notes and study them before the test/ exams you will ace the class

You will learn a lot and the class study guides are they key to doing well in the tests. Study them well and you will ace the class. Attendance is mandatory.

A great teacher. You need to study for the tests, but he "helps" you when you need help. He makes the class fun. He will help you if you ask.

I probably only used the book once. He always handed out notes and then went over them. I studied from the notes and passed the class with a B. He is very nice and a great teacher. If you ever need help he is there to help you any way he can.

Great class - Great teacher! Loves his stuff and wants you to learn. He gives out crazy hints during the test and even helps you individually if he sees you marked something wrong. Multiple choice right out of the notes. Don't waste your money on the book! Super nice man!

BEST TEACHER IVE EVER HAD! i major in business but he made this class interesting and fun! i would love to go to his class. he is easy but you still learn i bearly used the books i only used the notes we did in class and go As in all my test

Best teacher I ever had. Very helpfull and makes the subject interesting by relating as much as he can to real life situations. Did not use the book much. Hands out a copy of notes and pull the test from that. I took him for Summer I and we only had one assignment for the whole semester. I HIGHLY RECOMEND taking thi class.

He's an excellent teacher! I agree with almost everyone, he's clear, he wants you to learn, and he'll do whatever to accomplish that. Just study the material that is provided and you'll be fine. If you want an easy teacher but still want to learn then I definitely recommend him. One essay/3 tests + final. I studied on the days the tests were given and got two A's and a B. Provides study guides and the essay isn't hard at all (just do the research). Relates class to everyday life so you're actually interested in learning everything

Nick is by far the most attentive and thorough professor Ive had and not only is his class exciting he makes you want to do well with his teaching style and his attention to each individual student. He is very passionate about the earth and the environment and rocks he loves rocks and all i can really say is he rocks.

Very easy and helpful professor. In fact, he even prints out the notes for you - can't get much easier than that. Strongly suggest following the notes for the exams. VERY Boring class, but Mr.Ergun is really funny and tries to make everything interesting. Tests are EASY! Just follow his study guides, and that's ALL you need! Easy A, no reason not to have an A in this class AT ALL!

SUPER EASY!!! His class is so boring that I leave during break every class, but it's so easy that it doesn't matter if you stay, or even go half of the time. Go, get the study guide, leave at break. He even walks behind you in class during exams and tells you whats wrong. Take him if you need an easy A.

This professor is extremely helpful and easy! The survey of physical science is basically like earth science. I'm not so great with science and this course was extremely easy. I would definitely recommend everyone to take his classes!!

Survey of Physical Science is the same class as Earth Science. I'm not a science person but loved this class and the teacher is AWESOME. Would highly recommend anything he teaches.

Mr. Ergun is a nice teacher, he really tries to help you make a good grade. Personally, do not take it in the summer because he goes over so much material in 6 weeks so its a lot to take in. Science is not a good subject for me and I passed with a A. He also gives you hints during the test if you got something wrong so you can fix it.

Easy class, no homework. Lectures can be boring but he has a good (albeit corny) sense of humor to try to keep you awake. VERY specific with what will be on tests, so just pay attention and write down what he says and there's no way you can't easily pass. He also sometimes offers hints on tests if you're struggling with a particular problem

I took Mr. Ergun for Geology and although the subject is painfully boring, he did a really good job teaching it. Very easy class.

I thought, for an online class, it was very organized. He gives you three days to take the test which is nice I made A's on all of the tests, and assignments, I really enjoy geology, so this was a breeze for me. I never used the textbook his online notes and study guides is all you need for tests.

He is such an easy teacher and he really cares about his students i wish could take him again :( you dont need the book for any class you take with him because he always gives you hand outs he is such an amazing person!! really guys you are doing yourself a favor by taking him!

FUNNIEST TEACHER I HAVE EVER HAD! Professor N is very energetic, ready to help, and his test are easy as long as you attend class!! No book is needed at all. Basically go to class and study and you will be guaranteed an A.

EASY A ALERT! He lectures every class and puts the PowerPoints on Blackboard for you to print off. Also provides study guide questions and 80% of test questions come from them. Very interesting and fun. Professor Ergun is very forgiving and understanding when emergencies pop up. 10/10, would definitely take again!

Professor Ergun was awesome. He was hilarious and tried his best to make class as interesting as possible. Not too much homework at all. I am no scientist, and I have some difficulty remembering terms, but this class wasn't hard for me. I recommend him to anyone in need of science credits. Easy A :)

An awesome professor! Printed out notes from blackboard and would give us info of what would be on the test, he would make us TQ by the info and all youd have to do is study. Tries to joke alot. Just make sure you go to every class, it will help your grade at the end. Would highly take him again!

I took this class in the Spring semester and I absolutely loved it. He really cares about his students and if you study you are guaranteed an A. He is hilarious and gives all of the notes you need to print off of Blackboard. He tells you exactly what you need to study for his tests.

Prof. Nick is amazing. He works to make sure students who show up to class and show effort have success in the class. Don't expect to use your phone or skip class, and you'll pass with a great grade.

All you have to do is print the handouts, the text book is never used. Show up to class and put your phones away, he gets upset when students are using the phones. It was a very easy class.
