I really enjoyed his class! the tests were kind of difficult even after studying for them. Go to class, at least the lab so you can get your points and access to the weekly quiz. Those points will help your grade if you don't do especially well on the tests! Overall great teacher and you'll learn a LOT!

He's young and he makes this class a lot of fun! His tests are kind of tricky even if you study! GO TO CLASS!! You'll want those attendance points and if you go you get access to the quizzes, which are based off the labs you do in class. He's really fun and his class is enjoyable!

Easiest Geolgy lab teacher you can take. If you fail his class its your fault. test multiple choice and a few short answeres. his online quizes are the same as the work we did in class that day. He give you all the answers on the test if you go to the study session. trust me easy and I HATE GEOLOGY. easy easy easy easy

He is a great professor. He is very interested in all topics discussed in class. You learn a lot that you would not expect to learn. Our generation doesn't seem to know how to truly read a map, but he is changing that. There is MATH involved. I hate math but other than that it's a great course and Radko is a good choice for a professor. Cool guy.

SHOW UP TO CLASS! The tests are hard! Radko is a 'cool' teacher and makes the class/reviews fun. Pay attention and you'll learn ALOT! You need the textbook for the online quizzes but the lectures don't follow the textbook. GO TO THE REVIEWS!

Great teacher. Funny, laid back, nice to look at. MUST GO TO LAB but his study sessions for lab are SUPER helpful. LOTS of power point slides, but he tells you what to look for so you really have to not try at all to fail. Tests aren't difficult unless you didn't study. I would take him again for sure.

Radko is a super friendly guy that really cares about the things he teaches. He's easy to talk to and always ready to help his students out. I am not a huge fan of science courses, but he made the subject matter fun and relatable.

I was not looking forward to the lab portion of this class, but Dr. Radko made it enjoyable. Come to class, fill out the lab with the people at your table, and receive an A. Tests were moderately tough. Quizzes every week after the lab, but it's all straight from the lab that you just filled out. Would take him again if I needed another lab.

If you skip, everything missed is up to you to learn. Overall he's a great teacher. If you take him for lab you won't be disappointed.

He is very funny & passionate about the material, but his lectures can be lengthy & kinda boring, do the connect assignments & study HARD for his tests. if you do this you will pass for sure.

I learned the hard way that you do actually need to study for the tests. Nothing insanely hard but challenging for someone not good with math. I was sometimes annoyed with the background knowledge that the lab assumes you have. Often completely separated from lecture.

Radko is a nice guy, but his test are super hard and very long. He is always willing to help, but sometimes that just isn't enough. Struggled in this class.

Radko is the man. I would love to take him again but won't have the opportunity. He makes the information interesting and will always help you out if you need it. The tests aren't easy, but not hard either of you just do a little studying. Radko relates well to students and keeps class fun. If you attend class regularly he will know your name.

Radko aka Manbun has the best personality by far on campus, I had him for lab and it was the most welcoming class ever. If you want a teacher that you can truly feel comfortable around then he's your guy. His tests are kind of hard though because they aren't just multiple choice, but that's the only complaint.

I honestly can't say I have had a better professor. He made every lab interesting and interactive, even if we were only using the topographic maps. At first he seemed like a complete goofball, and at the end of the semester I still thought he was one, but he loves geology and that made the class great.

Radko is super passionate and well spoken about Geology and I really enjoyed taking his lab. Other than falling flat when he took the spot of Dr. Reichard in one of his lectures that one day and the fact that he wears socks with sperries he is one of my favorite teachers. He's an awesome guy and makes lectures interesting. Geology doesn't seem that interesting, but he always makes it fun. Make sure you go to class and at least skim over the book chapters, although it is possible to get an A without the book. Make sure you start early on the Geology Connect assignments! He gives you the whole semester to do them.

This class is worth it if taken with Radko. I got in a freak car accident and he helped me to catch up all my missed work a little over a month in a little under two weeks of hard work along with catching up on 3 other courses. He will make class interesting, and its even better if you get him as your lab instructor too.

Great teacher, I was expecting a boring professor preaching about rocks all semester, but Radko is the opposite. He loves what he does and you can tell any time you go to class. He travels to a lot of places around the world that are geographic features or hotspots in his free time being able to explain the topics in a fun, interesting way.

Radko is an excellent teacher. He's more passionate about rocks and geology puns than anyone I've ever met. His lectures are never boring, he's funny, and the class is interesting. He likes to make his tests challenging, so be prepared to study. He has a review game day before each test. There is online homework that helps a lot.

One of the best professors here at GSU. Radko learns your name and is a total sweetheart. Lecture is usually interesting, but tests can be difficult. Study notes and the online work and you'll be fine. Lab is pretty straightforward, just show up and make sure you have the right answers to study for the exams. The exams are not very difficult (just do the online assignment and review the notes). Attendance is not mandatory, however it would be in your best interest to attend, and take notes for the exam.

I'm in his Environmental Geology Lecture and Lab. Cool Professor, but his tests are a bit difficult. Lecture isn't mandatory attendance, but lab pretty much is, because you only get the online quiz if you showed up. You have to use the Connect for some assignments that are just graded for completion. He really likes to pass around rocks!

Mr. Radko is awesome! He definitely knows what he is talking about. 90% of test comes from lecture notes so it is good to go to class although he does not have an attendance policy. The test reflect lecture notes, but can be a little tricky in short answer.

Took Radko for lab section of this course, pretty easy class. Finish the lab work, have him verify it's right, then the quizzes are easy 100's. The 1st test will screw you for sure - it's straight memorization, the rest of the tests are not bad if you put in a bit of effort. He is pretty chill, I took this class on Friday's, would do it again.

Not gonna lie, I took this class because I thought a class about rocks would be an easy A and a joke, but this was actually a pretty ok class. Radko for Environmental Geology is a trip. Although his lectures seem to drag on, he is more than happy to help you try and understand the concepts you need to know for the tests. If you do not go to class you will miss this full understanding and will end up being lost come test time. You will both love him and hate him at the same time.

The most chill professor I've ever had that tries to make lectures not so boring and makes material simple to understand. I had Mr. Radko last semester and he was the fun professors that I had for my first semester studying here. He loves what he does and his tests aren't hard unless you study the night before. I would recommend taking him if you put effort towards studying.

Easily one of my favorite teachers here at Southern. He gets to know all of his student's names which is something not every professor does. He's a very funny guy and loves what he teaches. He is a super chill teacher. I don't care about geology but he made it interesting in the lectures. I suggest you realllyyy study outside of the lectures. The average grade on testing was 60% on the first test. I studied a bunch and still didn't get a good grade. If I had to pick a geology teacher, Radko would be my first choice.

The only grades you will receive in class are from tests and homework, so make sure to study for the tests, which are not easy by any means! Just lectures and tests with some easy online assignments throughout the semester. The lectures are usually pretty easy to follow and Radko makes it engaging & funny so even people like me who didn't know/care about geology actually found the info interesting. Still gotta study for the tests but he gives good study guides. TAKE HIM FOR LAB TOO!

The first and possibly the only B in my entire college career is in this class. Thanks a lot, Mr. Radko. That aside, he's a great professor. The subject is dry for non-geology major but he made it much more bearable. 60% of your grade is from the tests. If you take Radko, take the smaller section and you'll probably learn more.

Radko is one of the funniest professors you'll take. But I took Geology thinking it would be the easiest science class and an easy A, but its not. His tests are hard and you have to study really hard to get good grades. He takes common sense questions and makes them difficult.

He was extremely enthusiastic about it, and made it as interesting as possible. Very caring dude. We had probably like 15 online assignments, and three tests, and that was it. I took him for Env Geology, I was in his lecture and lab class. I went to every lecture and there were days when I would just do sudoku and just hear what he was saying and I did pretty well in class. I did have to pay more attention to the end of the semester thou. I did Bs on all his tests. he makes lab so easy. and his final is just extra credit

Mr. Radko made my tuesdays kind of easy. With lab and lecture on the same day, I was kind of drudging it to classes everytime but he was understanding and caring, plus his humour was refreshing. You wouldn't regret picking him up as a lab teacher, I have no clue how his lectures go though.

Do whatever you can to get him. He's hilarious and creative and SO helpful. I have him for lab and if you're ever confused about literally anything, he is happy to help and explains it very well. He's understanding and gives some easy grades, yet he's still great at teaching and actually getting the information across. You definitely want this guy.

Professor Radko is very passionate about Geology. He is also very engaging. I did not have him for geology lecture, but I had him for lab. He was always willing to answer questions and help. If you try and complete the work, you should be able to do well in the class.

A passionate, easy-going, funny professor who is always willing to help and is available outside of class. Clearly lays out expectations. For his lab class, grades by pre-labs, post-labs, participation, and exams. Ask questions while in class and feel free to send him an email if you need. You'll definitely learn something.

Radko is a great guy and clearly has a passion for geology. I only took him for lab (take Dr. James Reichard for lecture!) but he was extremely helpful. You're graded on pre/post lab quizzes, participation, and lab exams. No extra credit opportunities but as long as you show up and work during class, your answers don't have to be right.

Prof. Radko was one of the best professors I have ever had. He is extremely funny, which makes listening to his lectures easier. His exams are pretty difficult, but if you attend lectures/ study with his powerpoint, you should be fine. If you need a lab and are looking for a good professor, he's the one!

One of the most energetic and charismatic professors on campus. Would highly recommend for the personality alone.

Attendance is not required, but you must have attended or have a valid excuse in order for the quiz at the end of each lab to be opened. Very understanding and will work with you on any issue. Available to help. Breaks things down and makes them very simple. Show up and pay attention you will be fine. Also attend exam reviews they are very helpful

Great professor, wish I took him for lecture also.

Without a doubt the best teacher I've ever had here. He is very laidback and treats the students like he's your best friend. The course he taught is quite possibly the easiest as long as you actually sit there and do the lab manual it's an easy A.

Professor Radko is a very nice professor however, if you do not pay attention in lecture you will fail the exams. You only get graded on lecture exams, lab participation, and lab exams.

Super nice guy and cares about his students. He is always willing to answer questions also. His lab is easy but his lecture exams are HARD. You have to study and know every little to detail in order to excel on the lecture exams. Lab exams are fair. Exams count a whole lot so do good on them, you also have to buy 100$ thing to do the homework

I really enjoyed this class, though it was my most difficult class of the semester. Professor Radko was very engaging in his lectures. His classes were mainly just lectures. I recommend studying all the PowerPoint to prepare for the tests rather than just focusing on his study guide. Professor Radko's lab was an easy grade if you did the quizzes.

Nick was great! He's fun and you can tell that he loves what he teaches. He is also very helpful. There are only the labs and post-lab quizzes. There are also 3 exams, his study guides and reviews are good!

Professor Radko is passionate and engaging, but the exams are no joke - you'll need to study hard. Thankfully, Unstuckstudy and the textbook are great study tools to prep. Attend class, complete the lab, and you'll learn a lot.

This class is easy if you attend class and do the work. He is willing to work with you during Lab and makes sure that you get correct answers. However if you do not attend lab then you will not pass.

Overall, he's a great guy! He's a very down-to-earth person who'll work with you if you need help. The labs are fairly easy, and they're not graded. He gives a post-quiz afterward. His lectures are FULL of information, so make sure you study because his exams aren't easy. He gave out study guides for the exams, but they didn't help me.

Absolutely loved him as a professor. You must attend labs to pass the lab portion however he does not grade your lab. He releases quizzes after the labs as attendance. I am horrible at attending class but his labs were enjoyable. He has a great way of teaching and lab test are fairly easy. Definitely recommend

Amazing Professor however his lecture exams are pretty hard and take a lot of studying. Attendance isn't mandatory but definitely recommended. His final exam is only bonus points which can help your grade a lot depending on your previous test. Connect is the other grades you receive in the class which are graded on completion but not your score.

i had him just for lab for environmental geology, but he was really nice and actually got to know you outside of you being his student. he was really caring about everything and we didn't have any homework outside of class other than post lab quizzes. he gives you a heads-up for everything upcoming and the tests weren't that hard at all

Pretty good teacher, didn't do my best in the class but that's due to not caring or studying. I'd still take the class again if I could.

Took this class because I had to, but overall Professor Radko was good. Tried his best to make the class enjoyable and engaging. Brought rock samples and other things to class. Constantly tried to help and make the class better. Very understanding and caring.

This was the best class I've taken. Taking this freshman year helped my whole college trajectory, eased me into college, and challenged me as a student.

Professor Radko is a great teacher and a cool guy. I definitely recommend taking his class.

He was honestly a great professor! He knew all the criteria and taught it very well so you could understand! He made the lectures super informative and interesting. I'm terrible with this kinda subjects but he made geol super interesting for me. His lectures weren't usually boring either. He gives extra credit too

One of the most down to earth enjoyable professors I've had. Knows how to keep his class involved through teaching methods and just being a funny guy. PowerPoint slides and Kahoots were definitely very helpful and its clear that he loves teaching and is great at working with students
