AMAZING TEACHER! Reaaly cares about the students success. Very understanding and really works with students. He is so interesting, really makes what he is saying and teaching fun to learn. He is so excited about everything he teaches that it makes you that more interested. I had him at 8 in the morning and he woke me up. TAKE HIM IF YOU CAN!

Seriously. Coolest guy ever. Not too much work for a lab class but if you do the assignments your good. I really learned a lot about bio in this class. If you are afraid of science classes take him!

Professor Reeves is awesome! attend class, pay attention and youll do good. He gives practice exams online and study guides where all the test questions come from, on top of that all exams were a breeze!

Reeves is amazing! He gives out extra credit like it's going out of style. He also posts old exams from previous semesters. If you study these, you are almost guaranteed an A on the test. Had him for lecture and lab, and he actually captivates you in a subject of no interest. Involves you a lot. Definitely recommended for any subject. Won't regret!

So glad I took this Bio teacher. Take him, you won't regret it. He spells everything out for you in the syllabus, no surprises. He gives gives study guides and holds a study session for each test. He also gives ample extra credit. Patient, kind, and helpful. If you fail this class, it was all you!

Proff Reeves is amazing!!!By far one of the best teachers ive ever had! He is exrememly helpful, his tests are on all the notes. He offers alot of extra credit, and he is very sweet and mellow.If you do all the work, you will easily get an A.

He is really nice and helpful take all of his advice. His study quizes are great so do those and he knows what he is talking about. Try to keep up with the lectures cause that helps too. I recomend him to any one going into a biology field because he prepares you for the real thing.

It doesn't appear that attendance is actually mandatory, but it is highly recommended because he gives a lot of good information. Extremely helpful and kind professor. Makes many topics exciting by relating them to the real world. AWESOME PROFESSOR!

Really nice teacher. He gets frusterated when it's obvious that people aren't trying, but that's because he gives you so many resources to do well in the class. There are a lot of points given for in class i-clicker quizzes, labs are easy, and if you use the resources that he provides then tests should be extremely easy.

He makes the class entertaining and makes the labs really simple. I took this class as a high school student and got an A. Pay attention and you'll do fine, there are no surprises on the tests. And the homework is full of packets. Make sure you don't miss any of the labs b/c they come up on the final. The book was rarely used.

I had professor Reeves for Honors Sexuality and the Society. He is an amazing professor who provides as much help as he could to his students. He is also very approachable unlike other professors who are very intimidating. He is also quite involves in school organizations, so he'd be a good person to ask info on different stuff. :)

Dr. Reeves is awesome! He is crystal clear in his teachings. Do the extra credit, he gives you chances to get out in the community and go to museums, lectures, charity walks etc. Labs are fun. If you study and pay attention, you'll be fine. I didn't like bio that much before but now because of Reeves I love it.

Reeves is a great teacher. I took Bio 150 which is a difficult class but he made it quite simple. He is one of the few professors that actually CARES about you learning & will never make you feel dumb like many others do. You HAVE to read the book! It's too difficult to not&expect to pass. Bends over backwards for you. Makes whole class extremely easy. Every little thing you need for tests, are online. He provides everything and all powerpoints are online. Don't really need the textbook as long as you read the powerpoints and take notes. Even if you slack off, it's impossible to fail! Hands out extra credit like hotcakes.

He was an amazing professor. The course in hard but he baby proofs it for you and give you an extensive amount of material for you to study. He cares about his students and will try his best to make sure you understand. Don't be rude and ask questions in the middle of his lecture though. -cough- the best thing to do is ask questions after.

I loved Prof. Reeves! An intimidating person to be around, but CARES about his students & will not fail to recognize the hard work you put into his class, though he will push you to do better. Babies the class because so many resources are offered, but makes concepts so clear that it's difficult to forget class material even after you've finished.

He tries his best to present the same material in different ways and to make it as clear as possible. Also, lots of extra credit opportunities! He can be quite intimidating at times, but he knows his stuff. Prof. Reeves is great! His lectures can be a little slow, but he waters down the course content so that everyone understands it. Labs are interesting and he's thorough. Would definitely take again.

His class is very structured, so you always know what to expect. I can't say much about his lectures; I didn't go. The labs, however, are great. They're graded strictly but fairly & you learn a lot of skills. I will note that he gets upset at the class easily, especially the honors students, whom he expects to work independently but outstandingly.

Reeves is interesting - he will give you a lot of busy work and his personality is off - he can come off as really harsh sometimes. However, as a Neuroscience major i've ran into a few situations where i am just thanking my lucky stars that I took him. No teacher will prepare you better! Take him if you're serious about science! Dr. Reeves is awesome. he would reiterate announcement and important things if needed to be. reading the Chapter in advance or before lecture is helpful, you'll have an idea what he us talking about and you would not look so lost. If you do the part, and what he tells you to do, its an easy pass.

Participation and other things count as extra credit that could boost your grade greatly. He explains things so clearly. Don't be afraid to ask questions. He provides so many study quizzes and materials to help you with the exams. Do well in lab and exams in order to get a good grade. Exams are nearly identical to study quizzes. He is nice.

Took Reeves for both Bio 150 &151 and it was honestly great having him as a professor. He's easy going and loves to help out students when they have any questions. Trust me, do all the easy HW quizes, study for lab practicum(s) as well as all the EXTRA old study quizzes, and you will pass the class with an A! P.s it is a 5 unit class so work 4it

Nick is a great guy! He may be intimidating at first but I dont think so considering behind all of that is a man who is patient with a kind heart despite getting frustrated quite easily because a lot of students arent trying in the class itself. He makes it entirely easy and makes you work for it! I recommend him 100%. Plus, hes attractive. ;)

Reeves is my favorite professor/ teacher I have ever had. He genuinely cares about his students and does everything in his power to help them pass. Lectures are pretty fun and the labs are even better. I would take him every semester if i could.

Prof. Reeves is very passionate about his field, but is also very understanding that you may not be, and may only be taking this course as a requirement. Therefore, he makes the class very easy to pass. Many extra cred opportunities as well. You literally have to try to fail, which is why I think he gets agitated when people do fail.

Nick Reeves is a great professor; however, he would sometimes get frustrated/annoyed and raise his voice. He offers plenty of extra credit opportunities throughout the semester. You are allowed to make up 2 labs. He provides study guides for each exam and there is always a study session before the exam day. He uses flashcards to call on students.

One of the best professors I've had. Extremely knowledgable and an excellent communicator. Goes way beyond his responsibilities and provides the study materials that you would usually have to prepare yourself (you just have to study them). He is one of the best professors I have ever taken and angel compared to Dejan Stekovic on the other side of the spectrum. If youre taking online classes the test questions can be kind of tough so make sure to study well. There is lots of extra credit opportunities and allows you to redo homework assignments and labs until you get 100%

He is very understanding and flexible when it comes to making up assignments (during COVID at least). He also makes class fun! Always accessible to his students and makes you feel important. Lectures are recorded and easy to understand complex concepts. Merciful with deadlines and takes any assignments up until the unit exam. Accessible outside of class and gives a lot of materials for his students to pass. Just keep up with the lectures, do labs and discussions, and use the study materials to your advantage :)

He was an excellent prof to have in the online environment. His live lectures were excellent and he explains concepts very well. I skipped reading a couple chapters due to time constraints but his lectures are so good that I still rocked the tests. He truly cares. I thought he was doing a little too much hand holding but he wants you to do well.

Hybrid class. In person labs were engaging and exciting. Online portion, there are recorded lectures which you work problems through, and weekly quiz. Weekly discussions on interesting topics. Do the work and exams are easy. Extremely nice and wants to help you.

I have taken 2 Biology classes and now this Honors Enrichment Science class with Professor Reeves. He is one of the most amazing professors ever. He cares, gives great feedback, and answers emails quickly. He is flexible with due dates, gives out great support materials, and has very clear and detailed grading criteria. Nick Reeves is a complete GOAT as a Professor. I believe his teaching styles are one of the best and is very helpful during his office hours. I always felt well prepared for his exams as he held reviews and lots of study materials to make sure we were fully prepared. It is not to difficult to get an A but you must put in the work as well.

I was very nervous about this course; however, Professor Reeves was wonderful. We had a discussion board each week along with a few homework assignments. In class, for labs we worked in groups and the professor walked around helping everyone out. This has been one of the easiest classes I have ever taken at Msjc.

He was nice, he's very good at explaining things when asked questions, labs are super easy, he ensures the class understands what's happening with each lab and the homework was pretty easy. There's practice quizzes each chapter to prep for the exams, same goes for the lab exams.

He makes both the regular section and the honors section very approachable! He's not needlessly time-consuming, especially if you've taken biology not too long ago, and the honors project was fun!

There are 3 midterms, 2 lab practicals, 1 final exam, and 1 final project. This class was one of the most enjoyable I have had in college. The best teacher you could take for this class who truly cares about biology and his students. If he is an option, take him. He is patient, kind, and very knowledgeable. I wish I took BIO150 with him too.

This professor was great. I honestly dislike science, but he is so enthusiastic about the subject, and it made the class fun! It is VERY lab-heavy, and the exams are pretty difficult, but if you study and do all the lecture activities and quizzes, it will be easy! The homework is incredibly manageable as well and helpful.

Great professor! The class structure was very organized and clear. The honors project was really simple and fun to do as well. He really cares about biology and his students. Reeves is a total Ravenclaw–intellect and curious, but he carries a Gryffindor heart like Lupin/Sirius—brave + compassionate with a little bit of Snape's Slytherin edge in him—principled. (I'm a proud Slytherin myself.) He's a bold thinker, passionate about Biology, and not afraid to break the mold. I took his class in Fall 2021 and earned an A.

Reeves is AWESOME! Many, MANY extra credit opportunities, exams are the exact same as the hw. Labs are required, you are not required to show up for lecture (but you should). Great for people who are just taking the class for a grade, but goes above and beyond for the passionate students too! He is engaging, willing to help, and easy to talk to.

Professor Reeves is a lawful good. His lectures are recorded and recorded well. His study guides contain the real test questions. I got out of lab in about an hour usually. His lectures are long brutal information waterfalls. His class was a little tougher than I like for non math classes, but I learned a ton and enjoy speaking about biology now.
