Memorize the notes. Go to the study sessions or his office hours if you don't understand the material. He gives you a practice test before each test which helps. Some questions on the tests seem kind of nit-picky so really know the material. He's funny in his own right.

This is a phys class so don't expect it to be easy. It's not impossible to get A or B. Just know every word on his notes and u'll do fine. go to class because he always adds stuff to notes. Study session with kevin is really boring just go if u don't understand things. If you don't mess around u'll be fine,it's not that bad.

I'm not sure what the second student's problem is. Obviously they were bitter they didn't do well in this course. Dr. Ritucci is by far the best instructor I have ever had and I've never heard anyone say a bad word about him. He cares about his students and has a wonderful sense of humor. His arrogance is meant to be a joke, so yes, get over it.

This is a very hard class, BUT I learned a lot. Dr. Ritucci has a way of taking DIFFICULT material and making it fairly easy. He genuinely cares about his students and truly wants them to do well. Pay attention in class, stay on top of the material and you will be fine. Oh, and ladies: he has muscles, a great butt and is absolutely GORGEOUS!

Dr. Ritucci will make you work hard, make you think, will genuinely care about you, will show you he loves what he does, will be the best teacher you've ever had. It's ashame that someone on here doesn't appreciate him, because he/she didn't want to study hard and learn. I hope he/she is never my nurse. And yes, Dr. Ritucci is as hot as they come.

When you first see Dr. Ritucci he is a bit intimidating (big muscles and gorgeous) but he is very down to earth. It was a pleasure taking this class. It was extremely hard but if you study consistently, you will be fine. He is more than willing to help you and loves interaction with the students. Go to him if you need help. He is very accessible.

This class is hard! Go in taking things seriously because if you don't you will be in trouble! Don't think that you know the info after the lecture because his class is no joke. Dr. R is a super nice guy. He genuinely cares about his students. He knows his stuff. Don't waste money on the textbook, just KNOW his notes! It's not undo-able.

Ritucci is awesome! The class is hard, and he helps A LOT with making sure everything is clear. And if you aren't doing well, he's not going to make you feel worse about yourself. I think hes one of the best profs that I have had at WSU. Very caring about about his students and good for a joke or two (esp on exams) that helps break the ice

Dr. R is a great professor. His powerpoints are clear and he put them on WebCT which is great. Make sure you keep up with the lecture or you'll be sorry. Dr. R is a great teacher but he's hard. He's very open to meeting with students so take advantage of it. Very easy on the eyes ladies. Now if we can only get him to wear shorts like Dan Miska did.

What can I say about Dr. R's class? 302 is easier than 301, but you still need to study. Know the notes, skim the book, and go to him with questions! He WILL help you learn the material if you take the time to approach him.

This professor is by far the hottest prof I've had at WSU hands down. His material is also by far the hardest BUT most enjoyable material I've learned. He really makes the material much easier to understand (along w/ Miska). You must must must study your information alot before the test if you want and A.

I actually took Ritucci for 301 and 302. GO TO CLASS. I did not buy the book and I got A's in both classes. The material is difficult. STUDY the notes. If you don't understand something, ask. He responds to emails in like 30 seconds. And he's great to watch :)

Hottest, nicest, smartest prof I've had. Dr. R is approachable and wants you to learn his material. Some think he's stuck on himself but nothing could be further from the truth: all you have to do is talk to him once and you'll know he isn't. Phys is hard but if you go to class, study HIS notes, ask him questions if you need to, you'll do fine.

He is amazing. GREAT teacher. I wouldn't take if you dont need to, the class is kind of hard. Study a lot and get an A.... that easy.

At first I didn't like Dr R cuz I thought he was too hard and too arrogant. Then I learned to appreciate him and found he wasn't arrogant at all. He's a fantastic prof and really cares about us. He wants us to go see him or email him if we don't understand and he won't stop until we do understand. Give him and the class a chance. Oh and he's HOT!

Best teacher I have ever had. If you go to class and follow along (I mean SERIOUSLY pay attention and take notes and stuff) it shouldnt be too hard. It was easy for me, but I loved the class. He is AMAZING and he makes the info extremely interesting. Fantastic teacher that deserves a raise.

One word: Dedicated. Dr R. went thru a lot during the quarter but u wouldn't have known it. He still went out of his way for us like he did the previous quarters. His lectures were clear to where even a dummy like me could understand them. It takes a lot of work to get a good grade but it can be done. Great prof. OK, a few more words: He is HOT!

WOW!! VERY INTELLIGENT, HELPFUL PLUS HE IS HOT!! I like the way he teaches, I ve never been motivated to learn like this before. He is very clear and explains things cleary!! If you attend his lectures and read the meterial daily, trust me the A is for you. He provides all tools necessary for students to understand Physiology. he knows his stuff!!!

Dr. Ritucci is amazing and knows how to teach. Him and instructor Miska are very helpful. They offer two review sessions and 6 open labs per week. Also encourage you to go to office hours for anything even if you don't have questions and just want to explan what you know to make sure you have it right. HIGHLY RECOMENDED!!!!!

Yes Dr. R is great. I luv this course and he's the main reason. He's brilliant but tries not to talk over our heads. Material and tests are hard but I know people get good grades including myself. He is available for any and all questions in and out of class. He also just likes to chat. I wish all my profs were like him and were yummy hot like him.

He is the BEST!!!! Even though the material is hard and requires alot of studying, it is worth it! He is a great prof. Looks like ross geller too!

Dr. R was a great prof. He explains things well. I got a lot out of the class. The first 2 quarters weren't too bad but the last quarter is really hard. He gives practice tests and they really help. He also has an open door policy so take advantage of it. He even helped me with a diet and exercise plan. He's just cool. You will like him.

Dr. R really tries to clarify everything he draws a lot of stuff to explain his words and processes phys is hard but you have to keep up with the material the last test is the hardest but I kept rewriting the hormones and making connections and it paid off! He answers emails quickly! Dan and Nick are awesome profs!

His part of the class is pretty tough. If you study the material and keep up with it then you will do just fine. If you wait till the week or weekend before the tests to study then you wont have much of a prayer. The final has a lot of detail in the physiology part but like i said before, if you start studying early, then you will be fine.

STUDY STUDY STUDY! If you study and calm yourself before the tests you will do fine. I am a Dean's list student and barely passed this class because of test anxiety...so, prepare and prepare and don't procrastinate. You will come out of this class just fine if you prepare and study!

Dr. Ritucci is a good professor but he crams waaaay too much material in for each exam in 312. ANT 310 and 311 are easy compared to 312. He will take the time to help you, so go see him because it is ridiculously hard material in 312.

He is a great teacher. He takes time to explain each step or process. He draws pictures and he keeps class interesting. He seems intimidating but is very nice and willing to talk outside of class about material you are unclear about. Definitely recommend!!!

I'm glad that I am going to being with Dr. R and Miska unitl ANT312. They are very nice professors who care about their students. They are very willing to help whenever you need it. Both are great teachers.

Dr. Ritucci is such a great professor. He(and Miska)are always willing to help. I love that neither are arrogant and don't make you feel stupid/worthless. I was intimidated when I first met with him in his office, but he is so nice. If you work hard, you can an A. Also, Dr. Ritucci is such a fine specimen to look at! Just don't get distracted!

Great teacher. The A and P sequence have been my favorite classes in college. He does a great job at making really complicated processes seem incredibly simple...(until you get home and try to study on your own). Tests are pretty hard, but there are no secrets and everything is in the notes.

He is an amazing teacher. He understands that the material can sometimes become overwhelming and he tries to balance that out by quickly answering emails and being available for questions. He does overly scare you for the second exam. Try not to dwell on how hard the exams are suppose to be and simply study the material. Getting an A is possible.

He was very open to answering questions. His sense of humor is a little dry, but he really is quite funny. He'll extend every effort to make sure you understand. Physiology is a hard subject to teach and understand and he does and excellent job of simplifying information and making it as clear as possible.

The entire ANT series was awesome! WSU def has an upperhand with this series. The series gradually gets more intense as you get toward the last of the 3. Not difficult if you put the time into it. Unanimous vote, Dr.R is most certainly very attractive but off the market...boo!

Dr. R is by far the best teacher I have had at WSU. He is VERY approachable and I enjoy going to class because he makes it fun and has a lot of funny jokes. He's not bad to look at either ;)

Dr. Ritucci is a great professor. Phys isn't easy, but he does break things down and explain them thoroughly. Seriously... he takes an entire lecture to get through 3 pages of notes. The best piece of advice I can give is to study a little every night, make notecards, whatever you need to do. He's super willing to help, too. And yeah, he's a guido.

Perhaps the toughest professor I and you will ever have but you learn a lot. He knows so much and gives you a lot of information but in ways that are easy to understand. He is always willing to help and truly wants students to succeed.

Ritucci is a tough teacher and his physiology material is hard. However, he does a good job at explaining it and he is willing to sit down with you in his office and go over his notes. You must understand the notes to do well on the exams. They aren't straightforward questions. He tries to test your knowledge. He's good though. And very hot!!!

Dr. Ritucci is a fantastic professor of physiology; he takes difficult, comprehensive material and explains it very thoroughly! He takes the time to draw plenty of diagrams and pictures to help the students visualize the processes. A very helpful and understanding professor! My favorite teacher of any college class I've taken.

I took this back with quarters. Dr. Ritucci is one of the best professors I've had to date. The material is very difficult, there's no doubt about that. But he is a wonderful resource! Very good teacher. Explained things very well and diagrams were helpful. This class really interested me and is one of the reasons i got into medical school. Very nice and always free to help students when in need. Need to study hard to do well, but great class. Did well and worked very hard in the class.

Overal one of Wright States greatest professor. Very clear and too the point, easy to pay attention too. He tends to make simple ideas a little blown out of proportion and are harder than what they appear. Expects a lot out of you on exams, even if you don't get the letter grade that you want, its impossible not to learn in this class. Great class

Dr. Ritucci and dan miska are the best profs I have had at WSU. They are genuinely interested in their students well being and success. They know how to present material clearly. This class is extremely difficult, if you don't put in hours of studying for this class you won't do well. A&P with them was purely fascinating. Loved every second.

Ritucci is amazing. Make sure you take the time to learn his drawings, they are so helpful. 4 exams, not cumulative. Just spend lots of time studying and you'll do great. Do not bomb any of them. Go to his office hours and review each exam after, it's very helpful and will give you tips on studying. VERY helpful and funny.

I love Ritucci! He is such a smart teacher and is very helpful. The class can be overwhelming at times but if you study often and pay attention in class, it really isn't bad. I learned soo much in his class and had fun as well. His is funny and will answer any questions you have.

Coming from a senior biology student, he is by far the best professor I've had at Wright State University. Attendance isn't mandatory but if you want to do well and fully understand the material, then you must go. I recorded lectures and relistened to them to take better notes because the class is very fast paced and challenging.

He is always willing to help his students, but this is a hard class. I had to study everyday. I was a point away from a B. They don't offer extra credit. The physiology is the harder portion of the class. Just make sure you ace the anatomy quizzes and you should have no problem passing the class.

Ritucci and this series were amazing. He took really hard stuff and made it easy to understand. You still have to study hard to do well. He is willing to help you and really wants to help you. I barely got a B but I learned a lot. I'm going to miss this class and the main reason is Ritucci. Plus he's hot and looks great with his shirt tucked in :-)

Hard class but you'll love it. There are lots of anat quizzes to help ur grade which is good cuz the phys tests are hard. Dr R is kind of intimidating but if you talk to him he's a sweetheart (and hot) & is always willing to help you. Work hard & you'll do fine. Miska left so there will be a new anat prof which is too bad cuz they made a great team

He makes any class worth taking and you will learn a lot. The physiology part can not be memorized, you must learn the material and he is always willing to help.

Very helpful. scary at first but he will help you a lot. His exams are not hard if you study and go to his office. Give points if you have a valid argument on an exam question. In lecture he takes his time to explain everything very well. He is funny sometimes in class. If you study you will love this class . I would take him again if I can.

This class will make you work! I loved all the material covered but it took a lot of studying to fully understand. You always have to think ahead when you study. Buy a whiteboard because the drawings are so helpful! Ritucci is also very helpful and he cares about his students. Not to mention he also has a sense of humor.

Physiology is not hard if you study for it. You're expected to STUDY a lot for his class, it's worth it though. You have to understand the material or else you won't pass. He's there for help, he really cares about his students. Lectures are really important so don't miss them! Love his class

Dr R is extremely helpful and incredibly nice. Make use of his time. My advice is to study like you have never studied before. His tests are few and difficult so be ready for them. He is one professor who genuinely wants to make sure you KNOW the material, and he avoids regurgitation questions so beware. Be able to teach the material to a stranger.

Easily the best professor I have had. Makes the 3000 level physiology more than manageable. With that said, massive amounts of effort are required to obtain a high grade. Poor effort will show in your grade, as you just can't slack in this course and expect to pass.

Basically, the class is tough. I worked really hard for the grade I got. But, he will answer almost every question you think of: weekend, late evening, or during office hours with multiple people in there. What helped me is to think of ways he could trick me on the test while studying the material. Don't get big textbook, just workbook.

Great physiology professor. He is super helpful, and cares a lot about his students. He thinks highly of them, and expects a lot, but if you do exactly what he tells you to do, you will be fine. His exams are not exactly cumulative, which is very helpful. An A or B is possible with hard work and a good amount of studying.

Definitely a hard class with a lot of studying, but if you put in the time and effort you should do good. It is possible to get an A! Don't get behind and ask as many questions as you have. Ritucci is really good at explaining hard concepts.

Dr. Ritucci's class was definitely challenging, but he really is a great teacher. I would definitely recommend him, just be ready to study a lot! If you're a visual learner, you'll do well. Though his attendance is not mandatory, DO NOT skip class or you will have no idea what is going on.

This was by far my favorite class to go to when i took it. He makes lectures seem short. Knows exactly what he is talking about. He is always making sure we understand everything; 5 words " Are You With Me Guys?" Go see him if you need help, he is more than happy to help.

Been at WSU for 4 yrs and he's by far the best prof I've had. Great lectures. Takes phys and applies it to the real world. You will learn a ton. Go to review and SI sessions and definitely go to his office. I was a little scared to go but it helped so much. Plus he always made me laugh and he sure is nice to look at. Excellent teacher. Material is daunting and it all builds, so learning the basics is crucial. He makes the material understandable and interesting. He always answers questions and never makes anyone feel stupid. Great guy and yes major hottie.

It is hard and time consuming but you learn a lot

He teaches a really tough subject so students often blame him for being impossible, when in reality it is just their inability to study. He is probably the best professor I have ever had, he makes you work for your grade but he teaches it super well and is there to help you along the way, IF YOU NEED THIS CLASS FOR YOUR DEGREE, TAKE HIS CLASS!!!!!

Ritucci was the best professor I had thus far! Yes the class is probably the hardest class you will have ever taken and it makes you shed some tears, but I still enjoyed it so much. YOU HAVE TO STUDY YOUR LITTLE HEART OUT. I blame my struggles in this class on his looks!! Definitely get help, I made the mistake of never taking advantage of help.

You could not find anyone better to teach physiology. He draws pictures for all the information and explains it in a way you can understand. Very informative and relates the material back to real life. Ritucci takes a tough subject and makes it do-able if you apply the effort. He truly does want you to succeed.

Bittersweet when the class was over cuz he was my favorite prof but I've never worked harder for an A. Lectures are so good. Whatever I didn't understand he would clear up in emails and his office. This is the most difficult class I have ever taken. Ritucci teaches the class SEEMLESSLY. My biggest goal was to pass his course with an A, and I succeeded by recording all of his lectures, listening to them again and drawing the pictures and LEARNING, not memorizing. Hes a great guy and an amazing professor. Mad respect.

He is a great professor that goes out of his way and makes himself available to helps with whatever one may not understand. The course he teaches is not easy to, to say the least, but with his help it is possible to pass.

Very very tough professor, but passing the class is so rewarding in the end. All of his tests are challenging. Review the notes every night and make applications. Take him very seriously. He may not seem like he cares, but he really does.

Nick Ritucci is an excellent professor. In order to pass the clas you HAVE to study. If you dont study, you will not do well. He will tell you this over and over again. He is a very serious guy but can be funny, and also really cares about his students. I have to take him again for ANT2120 and Im actually looking forward to it.

Best prof I've ever had. Physiology is tough and is very complicated, however, he has a very unique teaching style and always makes everything clear. He has a very unique teaching style that works SO well, as long as you take his advice. Participate in class (listen & draw) and study outside of class how he says to (redraw the diagrams and explain)

He's really knowledgeable in what he's teaching. The material is tough, but he really tries to help you understand it. He can sometimes be negative in saying that you're not going to pass his tests.

Ritucci uses a very visual teaching method. He explains almost everything with a drawing. You WILL want to record his lectures. His exams are very difficult but easy to manage if you study properly and put the effort in that he expects. His lectures are not boring and he is very knowledgeable.

Wants students to do well. Study with a white board like he says. If you can understand his drawings, you will get an A. Super available even out of office hours. Will even reply quickly to emails late at night.

Hes an awesome professor and a VERY smart guy. Hes funny and nice, & very helpful if you need it. Tough class, but he makes it understandable and enjoyable. Just memorize every picture he draws, show up to every lecture, and UNDERSTAND the material, not just memorize. Test questions are what will get you, its all critical thinking.

Be prepared to work hard and be attentive every lecture! This class was not easy, but if you study and understand the material you will be fine. He is very helpful and answers all questions during his office hours. Bring lots of printer paper and colorful pens, because his drawings are pretty much the main points that will appear on exams.

Nick Ritucci is probably the best professor I have ever had. He makes you work for your grade. He seems intimidating at first but he is a great guy who just wants his students to pass. KNOW HIS CONTENT through and through. Do his practice exams. DO NOT wait until the last minute to study. Study the new material the day you learn it. I loved A&P.

Overall even though this class is unbelievable hard, Ritucci cares about his students and offer office hours. If you were to miss class for any reason and you let him know what date you missed, he would email you the lecture . He is a pretty good guy with a very hard course

I am an international student. He was very respectful. He understood that English is not my first language. He never underestimated me and never showed off. He explained things clearly.

I am also student from nother country. Nick Ritucci was grat professor and treat me with much respect. All students like Professor Nick even if class is hard. He teaches physiology so good and cares that we learn. He helped me a lot in his office and made appointments with me and stayed longer until I understand things. I will miss this class.

One of the best instructors that I've had. He is very passionate about his teachings and has his door open to you for help. His exams are tough but doable. I found it unfair how his exams were not consistent with the number of questions and the time for A&P 1 and how there were slightly too many questions for A&P 2 exams.

Speak to the professor and get the help you need rather than complain, spread lies in class and put your problems out on here. Go to HIS OFFICE HOURS, don't socialize in class, get the extra help. The first few weeks are ROUGH but I promise it gets better. He seriously cares about his students and wants them to succeed. He draws everything out and makes it very clear. YOU HAVE TO STUDY AND GET HELP IF YOU NEED IT. He won't give you a grade you don't deserve. He's an amazing professor and funny at times. I learned a lot!

Hes great. You just have to go to class and study!!! He makes you think in depth. You cant just memorize facts for his exams they require critical thinking. The class is hard but hes a very thorough professor.

I actually took ANT 1 & 2 last year, and I got a C in both. I decided to retake the second course by taking ANT 2120 in the summer and I got an A. You have to go to class and draw as he draws. You HAVE to STUDY. Dedicate time every single week to redrawing the pictures from class. Go to office hours if needed. I would definitely take Dr. R again.

Dr. Ritucci is a great teacher. He draws out all of his written notes into pictures, which makes understanding the material much easier if you are a visual learner. He was accessible during and outside of class and was always kind and willing to answer any questions. His exams are difficult, but I would definitely take more classes with him.

He's generally a serious person but he likes to be funny at the same time. He makes a lot of accidental jokes. The course itself is very difficult. He knows that and does his best to make it understandable. His lectures consist of lots of drawing so make sure you get a notebook and colored pens. He posts the audio and his drawings on Pilot.

Dr. Ritucci is a great professor and is very good at explaining complex topics through his drawings. I think most students get caught up trying to memorize his notes. Show up to class, take notes, listen to his recordings (it helped me), and try to lecture the material to yourself. He posts practice exams which are very similar to his real exam.

If you study and attend lecture, you will be fine. This isnt a class you can breeze through. You have to put in the work. If you put in the work, you will be fine. He asks questions on his exams that are about very small details so make sure you are studying everything! Ask him for help when you dont understand!

Best prof I've had. Never had a prof teach like him. His lectures should be on YouTube. He posted videos of lectures when COVID started and used to post the audio before COVID. Absolutely love Dr. Ritucci. He wants you to succeed. Many students told me that his class was hard, and it is. However, if you pay attention, write down all the notes, and study hard, you will succeed. Responds quickly to emails and answers all questions. One of the best professors Ive ever had.

I absolutely love Ritucci! I wish I had the opportunity to have his class in person, but you know COVID! He honestly just wants you to succeed and get the most out of his class. Dr. Ritucci is an amazing professor! He is so detailed and answers any and all questions so well. The class is difficult and can be frustrating at times, but its the content, not so much the professor or teaching style that makes it difficult.

Dr. Rittuci's class was very difficult. You have to pay attention and ask questions. If you don't understand something ask him if you don't remember something from last semester ask. He is always available to help. He will meet with you online, through email. His TAs are very happy to help you. Get a tutor, go to the SI sessions you will succeed.

Even when one graduates, Dr. R is still willing to help them. Not many professors are this dedicated. Dr. Ritucci is one of the BEST professors at WSU. His teaching style was really unique and quite effective. He responds to emails and IS SO HELPFUL! This class is not suppose to be easy children.

I LOVED this class. Dr. R is knowledgeable and really wants his students to pass. It was a tough one, and Ill rank him for that someday.

Attendance is not mandatory but you want to attend every class. If you miss a class, you miss TONS of information. The lecture book is incredibly helpful for studying. He is a great professor and definitely knows what he's talking about. He uses examples to help better understand things. Just study and try to understand. Get help if you need it.

Dr. R knows what he's talking about and he cares about his students! Phys is a hard subject.. it's not his fault. Go to lecture to set yourself up for success. Put in a ton of time studying outside of class too! Anatomy saved my grade in this course, but if I applied myself more I could've had better success. His textbook's an important study tool.

Ritucci is a great professor who really cares about your grades. So many people dislike him but that's because physiology is hard. His lectures are long and packed full of information but he posts extra things on pilot to help you prepare for the exam. He also has questions on his exams that are there for extra points

Exams are difficult and are majority application questions. If you go to S.I. sessions, talk with your peers, and take the time to sit and study the information and be able to regurgitate it, you'll have no problem. He's also a genuinely nice guy, very personable when you go to office hours and truly cares about how his students are performing

Ritucci is an amazing professor and is very direct and detailed in his lecture. You can't miss a lecture or you will fall behind because of how important lectures are to his material. He's funny and keeps lectures interesting. Definitely take again.

Dr. Ritucci was the best professor I have had throughout all my college courses. His lectures are straightforward and tests are difficult because you have to know physiology to make it throughout medical courses at wright state. I remember stuff from his class better than any other class.

Had him for the first time this semester with A&P; loved it! It is a tough course so be prepared to study but he tries to make it as easy as possible. He explains things well and records all his lectures which comes in handy when reviewing for an exam.

He is very hard but he explains things SO well, he draws so it is easier to understand for the visual learners and records his lectures so you can always look back. He does reviews before an exam because they are HARD but he also gives us a practice exam too which contain similar questions. Great and very knowledgeable professor.
