good guy, grades pretty easy so far, a lot of hw points are given,online hw assignments, cares for students to get good grades, doesnt expect you to know all the little stuff, just what he teaches.

the best math teacher i have ever had. highly reccomended. i have never laughed in a math class before, but this guy has the whole class laughing every class period. sometimes i wonder why a guy this smart is in the room teaching us basic calculus. tests are more than fair.

I'm surprised there is not more comments about this guy--probably the coolest/funniest professor I've had (i'm a junior). Takes understanding/relating calculus material to a whole different level.

This teacher is amazing! I never took anything close to calculus in high school. He really made the class easy on students. He gives practice tests, he tells you what to know. I flew by that class but still learned alot, He is also a REALLY easy grader, Highly recommended!!!

Nick Rohn is one of my new personal heroes in life. He can grow a mean beard, he has a sharp sense of humor, he's super knowledgeable, and he's crystal clear with his lectures. I've never had a teacher that made the subject material so easy to grasp. What's more, I feel like I could actually hang out with him on the weekends. Definitely take him!

Prof. Rohn was awesome. He's hilarious, very clear in his lectures, an EXTREMELY easy grader, and is very caring towards his students. He isn't out to make you fail. I went to this class probably 70% of the time, rarely opened the book, didn't study, and pulled out an A. HIGHLY (emphasize on the highly) Recommended!!!

TAKE HIM! he is seriously one of my favorite teachers. He makes everything seem so easy because he teaches the subject so well. There are 4 exams and the final. hes a very fair grader (i got A's on all of them, wouldnt be suprised if everyone in class did) I wish i could take him again for another class! hes great. Great prof. I've never had a very easy time with math and was scared to death of statistics but he explains things so well and is so helpful that I feel like I flew through this class. Got an A on every test by just going to class and paying attention to the lessons. Barely used my book. I highly recommend this professor.

Professor Rohn is definitely a great professor and guy. He works really hard at making sure that you're actually conceptualizing what he's saying which is awesome. Plus, he throws-in a lot of funny comments that keep it interesting and light. He's definitely worth the evening class and I'd highly suggest taking him if you have the chance.

He is a wonderful professor! He teaches from a powerpoint that has everything you would ever need to know for the tests. The tests are very fair. Mr. Rohn teaches and reviews all the information you need to know for the test. You are assigned homework but work on it in groups. WONDERFUL CLASS.

By far the best teacher at Loyola. He's hilarious and makes class very interesting. Extremely helpful in class. I attended about 70% of the time and got A's on all of the exams and an A on the final. Take this class, prof Rohn is the best

If you need a math class and absolutely hate math you should definitely take this class! He's very funny, nice, and very helpful. He gives lots of examples and if you ever need help he is more than willing to help. The tests are pretty simple there are about 8 questions, there is no way that you can not pass this class!

Hands down the greatest Math teacher on the planet. I hate math, I have never passed a math coarse in my life. I am getting an A. Not because it's easy but because he teaches it in a way that I get! THANK GOD FOR ROHN! and he's hilarious too.

Rohn is really one of the best teachers I've ever come across. He's very modest and fair, always makes his students feel comfortable even though he is so quirky yet funny. He makes you think about stats instead of just typing numbers in your calculator so that helps. You can get an A if you attend class and listen to him teach.

I took this class last year Spring and it was the easiest class I've ever taken. This man is hilarious and caring. 4 exams- I got 100s on 3 of them and a 97 on the other one. The material is pretty much logic. The homework is helpful. He does look like Steve Jobs

Professor is entertaining and really cares about how his students are doing. He makes the class as easy as possible and there is basically no homework. Only 4 tests and they are easy. It is almost impossible not to pass.

No calculator. No homework. 4 Easy exams. Favorite professor here. He emphasizes on the theory purpose more so than the computation. Uses a lot of real world examples. Didn't have to take notes because he was that clear. He's kind of bitter, but it can be humorous. Easy A. Don't buy the book.

I took this professor during my undergraduate degree program at Loyola. I had never thought of my self as someone who could ever understand math or statistics. Rohn changed the way I thought about statistics, he made them possible for me. I am now in graduate level statistic classes- 5 years later I wanted rate this professor!

Rohn is AWESOME! Having already taken stats, I was expecting this class to be a bit of a blow off (it was), but he takes a unique, practical approach to statistics in oppose to the traditional numerical approach. Very laid-back, easy-going class. Very approachable prof who wants to see his students succeed. Highly recommend!

Prof. Rohn was great. I had to take a math class for my math credit, but had taken a very difficult Stats class my senior year of high school. Rohn's class was incredibly easy for me; I could've skipped and still passed. He does a great job of going over the material and makes it very clear. 3 tests, one final, and online assignment due in bulk.

He is probably the nicest teacher. The grade consists of 3 exams, online homework and the final and he is an easy grader that gives tons of feedback. He wants all students to succeed in his class. Super easy and fun class! TAKE HIM.

Truly a great professor. 3 exams and a final which is cumulative. He explains everything well and he uses every day examples. He is super funny and makes class interesting. Professor Rohn is one of the best teachers I have ever had. Not only is he hilarious, but he understands how to teach math. There's very little homework (if you get an 80% you get a 100%) and only three tests plus a final. I cannot recommend him enough!!! Not only is it easy and enjoyable, but you actually learn all the material. Take him!!!!!

If you want an easy math class , this is the one to take. Very straightforward lessons and tests. Some classes he would talk about random things for the whole class period, cracking a ton of jokes. As long as you show up every once in a while, listen when he does actually teach some stats, and do the online homework, it is an easy A.

Best Professor ever!

Very easy class. I really only needed to show up on test days (3 of them) to receive above a 100% in the class. Prof. Rohn is very helpful and cool as well.

GREAT PROFESSOR!!! There are only 3 tests, all worth 100 point. Gives study guides for each and tells you what he expects you to know. He makes STATS enjoyable! Show up to class and get an A!!! 10/10!!!! TAKE HIM!!

If math isn't your strong suit this is the class for you. Dr. Rohn makes stats painless and super straight forward and easy. The tests were 1 page front and back and took me only 30 minutes. Truly my easiest class he gives lots of examples and overall pretty good guy. He helped me with my individual research and offered suggestions on what to do.

Good professor who uses lots of different examples to help students. Sometimes class can be monotonous but he makes it interesting with his upbeat personality. Great class with barely any math or formulas to memorize!!

There is a title which I give professors of the highest regard and gratitude. PROF. I have given this to 3 professors so far in the past 2 years and he's definitely earned it. Rohn is not your average professor, instead of force-feeding book stuff, he teaches you critical thinking and basic statistical knowledge that is helpful in life while easy.

I took this class for my quantitative analysis core credit and it to this day is still my favorite class I've ever taken because of Professor Rohn. It's a super easy class and he's so funny and makes the class interesting. Take his class for your quantitative core, you won't regret it!!

Professor Rohn is a great one. If you need to take a math course but aren't good with Precalc, Calc, etc like me, then take Stats 103 with him! Material is easy enough to learn and although class might be a little slow, he's hilarious and keeps it from being a snooze fest. 4 exams that you can ace with a bit of studying. Highly recommend!

Prof. Rohn is the best. I did really poorly in stats in hs, but Rohn was really good at explaining things and responding to students' questions. He teaches the material very well and I think I got 100% on all his tests. He's also really funny and has a dry sense of humor which makes stats somewhat enjoyable for non-math people.

I loved Prof Rohn!! I wish I could have taken him in person, but he was a great professor online too. I am not the best at math but the way he explained stats by incorporating real life examples really made it easier to understand. Your grade is based on 3 exams and a final. Online textbook for homework. Homework is easy. Online. You get multiple tries before its wrong. Easy A. Honestly, I didnt get his lectures too well. Sounded like a bunch of nonsense. But ig thats what stats is. Study guides, Kahn academy, and textbook helped a lot. Really easy grader. If you get the idea of what your doing. Then youll be fine

This may be the easiest class I have ever taken in my life. I took a college statistics class in highschool, and it is safe to say this course is noncomparable because of how easy it was. I literally sat there and picked the skin on my fingers until they bled I was so bored. I may rather get a colonoscopy by Freddie Kruger than take this course.

Best math teacher/prof! He teaches using real world examples and actually wants you to succeed, not just in this class but overall. He helps his students and teaches them random things throughout the class too. Three tests and final, finals short, and the hw is super easy!

Made his lectures super hilarious. Test are your only grade however. Makes stats super understandable compared to what i have heard about other teachers. Every class he dedicated it to how what your learning your actually gonna use in real life. Used real world/relevant examples which made the class more engaging.

I enjoyed this class, despite hating math. It's graded by 4 tests, I barely studied for the first 2 & got a 100 & a 96, so pretty easy. He dropped my exam 3 grade (I failed) & let me replace it with the final, since I had health issues this semester. He's a good teacher & I'd definitely recommend for CORE. (I took AP STAT but almost failed, so...)

Prof. Rohn's lectures are very engaging and fun! He has a great personality and the perfect dry humor. He makes the class go by pretty fast. He is accessible outside of class and assigns minimal homework online. He is extremely knowledgable about statistics and explains concepts very clearly. Don't miss out on taking one of his classes!

He is so funny, good at explaining concepts, applies the concepts to real life, facilitates class participation, is respectful when answering questions, and is overall a great teacher who wants his students to succeed. AMAZING teacher. I have never been a math person, but he made these concepts unbelievably easy to understand. Course graded by 3 tests and a final that are carbon copies of the examples given in class. Show up to lectures as he tends to not post notes. Review the worksheets given in class for exams & you'll be fine

i loved this class! the material is taught so in depth so its easy to understand. your grade is only based on 3 exams and your final, so as long as you show up to class and listen, its an easy a! this professor makes stats seem easy and its actually enjoyable coming to this class. i HIGHLY recommend this professor!

This was the easiest class ever. It felt like I was in 8th grade again. The homework isn't graded and your entire grade depends on 4 exams. He teaches stats in an interesting way that focuses more on the concepts than the actual math. He is super nice but kinda strange. Highly recommend this class for an easy A, you may get bored though.

Prof. Rohn teaches the course in a way that is more focused on real application rather than the mathematical side of stats, and also has a great sense of humor which makes class engaging. The class is based on 4 test that are very similar to the notes and in-class work. I would highly recommend this course to anyone!

A VERY good professor. As a person who is not good at statistics, I feel like I have done very well in this class and I have learned lots. Grade is based on 4 exams: 3 unit exams and the final. He will tell you what is on the exams and goes over each topic very carefully in an easily understanding way. I highly recommend you take him!

I love him as a professor but the way that his class is structured has you walking on thin ice, 2 exams and 1 midterm 1 Final. we have homework and have to attend class but none of it is graded for some reason. you can't miss a singular class because you will feel weeks behind and he posts nothing on sakai.

STATS103 with prof Rohn is an easy A. You're graded on 4 tests (though there is ungraded homework assignments) that are all pretty straightforward. The final is cumulative. I would recommend this class for people knocking out a core credit, etc.

Prof Rohn was great, he does a great job of using real life problems to help understand the material. He assigns homework which doesn't count for a grade but is good review. Take him if you want a low stress class.

Prof. Rohn is a very funny and kind professor. He has a dry and gen x sense of humor. You have homework assigned on WebAssign which you need to buy access for but it is not actually required. The only thing I did not like about this class was you are only graded on 3 exams and 1 final. So, if you do really bad on one of the exam then.. yea.

Prof. Rohn is probably the best choice for a core stats class. He's funny and makes math easily understandable. Attendance may not be mandatory, but you won't do well unless you go, since he covers a lot in just one class. You're graded on weekly online problem sets and a few tests, which are multiple choice and short essay.

Prof Rohn = best math prof ever. He explains abstract concepts accessibly w real world application. Examples are tailored to the majors of all students in class so everyone understands how stats concepts are used / applied in each field. Relatable, in depth lessons. Material covered til understood; pairs/teams work through problems in class.

Stats in general as a hard subject, but Professor Rohn explained it amazingly and is the kindest professor I've met. He cares for his students and always has an answer to questions you think would be considered "dumb" to ask. Graded on 4 exams, not homework. Even though attendance is not mandatory, you will be confused, so go! I recommend.

Prof. Nick overall was a great prof he made sure everyone in the class understood the concepts. he used real world examples which made it more memorable and interesting. beware you are only graded on 4 exams homework is assigned but not for a grade kinda help for exam but coming into class is so much better for truly understanding the concept. 8/10

Such a cool funny guy. Class is super straightforward and easy. I didn't realize I did not have to buy the textbook until half way through the semester, but the practice homework that comes with the program is really helpful. Only grades are 3 unit exams and a cumulative final.
