I have never in all my years of class, missed a teacher until him. He is such a cool guy. He is young, funny, curses like no other, and just is fun to be around. You write 4 essays a semester. He isn't an easy grader, but he helps you out a lot. I love going to class. It's all group discussions about our lives. Take him. TRUST ME! He's incredible.

Great Class! You turn in four essays, he grades them, and he gives them back for you to revise for your final portofolio. He is extremely helpful and understanding. Anyone who struggles with writing essays should take him. You do a lot of peer review in class which is extremely helpful.

amazing fun. you got to choose your own topics with his approval: 4 essays and a final portfolio. there were some reading assignments. attendance was mandatory but he made the class interesting and worth it. class workshops and he always helped you. lots of time to complete everything.

He was an awesome professor. Seriously, TAKE HIS CLASS. There are four essays, and that's IT. No textbook, no nothing. If you get A's on all of your essays it's an A in the class. If you get F's on all of your essays, and revise them until they're A's, then it's an A in the class. Impossible to fail. I loved him!

Nick is really awesome! Hes fun, nice, and really understands and doesnt act all professory. We always got out early and the work is minimal. I was disappointed by the lack of any challenge whatsoever though.

Wonderful professor. I ended the class with a 99% but that's because I came to class every day and turned in my assignments on time. We had 4 papers to write (including a research paper). He was very helpful and created a stress-free environment.

There's no test. Very chill class. You actually learn a lot of Hispanic culture. Homework is basically read story and write a page respond of what you feel or think about the story. Very cool professor and easy A as well. Must show up also.

I must say i recommend this professor to anyone taking enc1101.If he taught enc1102 i would definitely take it. He is a very helpful teacher and helps you with any questions you may have.He takes his time to sit down and go over your writing .Very understanding and as long as you do your essays you will pass

I took his class for the winter term and was not dissaponted,there are 3 mla format essay's the fist is 2-3pgs then 3-4 and 4-5 pages. I remember two really easy quiz's from the required text MERCUREY READER a thin paperback book. HIGHLY RECOMEnded

nice, laidback, if you want to learn a lot take a different professor. you use a book and write responses on the chapter, then watch a movie that is incorporated into the topic ont that chapter. when he gives you a paper to write doesnt really set guidelines on what he wants so it was a little hard at times. class was easy/never went full legnth

Mansito is GREAT! 4 papers & a few responces. Rarely holds you the whole hour. Very helpful & will review your essay before you turn it in. No tests. His lectures(maybe 4 the entire semester) make you think outside the box. DO your papers, show up every now and then and you'll get an "A". I did. Easiest "A" EVER! TAKE TAKE TAKE!

This class is a no brainer, just do the work (not much to begin with) and you will pass with an A. I did feel he could have been a little more specific when reviewing our drafts but aside from that good teacher, super friendly and easygoing.

By far the best professor I've had this far. I took his ENC 1101 class during the summer & we finished in basically 4 weeks. There were only 2 essays, 4 reading responses, & 1 commercial analysis. He critiques ur essay beforehand so ur able to make corrections b4 turning in your final copy. Mr. Mansito is cool af, funny, and very helpful. Take him!

Professor Mansito is cool and laid back and very easy. In class you write a rough draft then finish the essay at home. dont really try to flunk you anything you need help with he'll help you he gives you multiple chances to do over a paper so you can't fail. Take him and Professor Puig, Shireen you will not fail.

Professor Mansito is the best. I advise you to always check your school email prior to class, if you dont stay in close range to the school. Four pages to do, he's straight to the point. My class was a community course on Superheroes and it was the best I've ever taken. I've always been a great writer,he just enhanced them with his creative topics.

Easties class I've ever taken I took him over the summer session 2 we did two essays, chapter responses, and two group projects, AND watched two movies!!!! plus he will check your papers before and help you get an A. If you want an A and pass ENC take him hes a great teacher!

Very easy teacher if you do your assignments. EASY A if you know how to write. If not, he will review your work b4 due date so you can fix it. Let us out of class early EVERY DAY, so schedule him last if possible. He cancelled class (6 wk term) 3x too. Fun, easy class & cool guy.

Prof. Mansito is seriously one of the coolest professors at Broward. He is super chill about everything. He is very laid back and is extremely nice. He will give some short response hw assignments (easy), and some essays. 3 essays for my class, all of which I got A's on. If English is a hard subject for you take him. He makes it easy to understand!

I really enjoyed his class. The assignments are easy, but he challenges you to write differently from what you're used to. I had a lot of fun dabbling with new styles and ideas. Okay, so this is the best class ever. Every person who goes to Broward College needs to take this class. The discussions are hilarious and fun, and you learn a lot if you really get into the assignments. We're throwing a party on the last day of class because it has been such a great semester together. He is one of the best english professors at BC. He is very clear about explaining his papers, and all the papers are based off of subjects from movies you watch in class (ex: watch fight club in class, write a paper about violence.) I would recommend him to anyone.

I took this class during the 6 week summer semester. 90% of the students had English as their second language. So needless to say he gave me an A+ because I knew MLA, could write decently, and had good grammar. No reading, a few HW assignments, one essay. He uses profanity but he is very cool and down to earth. Remember this was the 6 WEEK COURSE.

Doctor Mansito is AWESOME! took him for both ENC1101 & ENC1102. his 1102 wasn't easy but most certainly was not hard either. Just make sure you log on to D2L everyday, read assigned stories and DO YOUR WORK. You do have to work for your grade but he makes class enjoyable (best part is no text book is needed) Would recommend any class he teaches.

A real cool guy extremely laid back. You'll want to come to class, he's respected and mature but has a sense of humor. Some movies and essays and that's it. Oh and an online course thing that's college mandatory. Trust me take this guy! Wish more were like him!!!
