She really knows what she's talking about! She's extremely understanding, if you have any issues she'll go out of her way to work with you. I would definitely recommend taking any class she teaches!

She is one of the better professors at CSI as long as you show up and do the most minimal amount of studying and all blackboard assignments you will pass with an A Also she is very hot/

She can be very confusing but she will do her best to help you. She knows the subject very well but like I said she can be confusing sometimes, just ask questions. She takes time to grade things but she always answers emails.

My first time taking online lab classes. We had to participate in a virtual lab program as part of the class. Prof. LaMassa made it very understandable and manageable. She explained everything clearly at the beginning of each class. Before we started the virtual experience she always explained the topic we would cover. I had a great experience!

The professor always explained the topics before we had to complete the virtual labs. She knows the topic very well. If we had any questions she was always quickly responsive. She was the best lab course instructor that I have taken since we started taking online courses.

Professor LaMassa is really good. I heard all good things from other students and decided to make the commute of 3 hours to take this course. I couldnt believe I actually did real experiments in the lab. It made my commute worth it. The lab was really good I told my friends from home to take it here.

She was my lecture professor for Cell bio and cell bio lab and she was wonderful. Great personality and amazing teacher. Her lab assistant Aliya was also super helpful and always explained everything to us thoroughly and wouldn't continue unless we all understood the mechanisms behind everything.

Professor LaMassa was an amazing professor! She is so caring and kind towards her students. Ive learned and understood more from her compared to all my other professors. Any course that she teaches, you should definitely attend her courses!

Prof Lamassa is one of my favorite professors at CSI. She is very direct and to the point in lectures giving you the info you need without much extra to sift through. Very hands-on during lab ensuring you understand the procedures. Answers questions thoroughly and thoughtfully. Fair grader. I learned more from this prof than I have most prof at CSI

Course material can be pretty tough and dense, but she does a good job of explaining it. All exams are based off slides and sometimes a scientific paper too. Attendance required, but she's flexible if you have an excuse. No midterm, last exam is comprehensive but skewed towards the later material. Overall good class and great professor.

I took Bio 237 with Professor Lamassa during the winter course; it was manageable. attendance is mandatory and she makes the labs go by very quickly, just make sure you make it on time because you can miss a lot. very thorough when answering questions and easy to contact outside class time. I took her for the summer class and didn't regret it. All the exams are taken in class, but you do them on your laptop through Brightspace. For the lecture, there are three exams. For the lab, there are two exams and one big lab report that covers all the labs.
