She tries too hard to be funny, but end up been very unfunny. I can't be sure if she actually cares about anyone's learning or not. Her exams are ridiculous and she treats everyone like we're in elementary school. I never got anything out of her jokes and her teaching. Don't take her!

Horrible teacher.She didn't seem to care whether you were understanding the concepts or not. Class was very disorganized, homework was done online and the tests didn't follow the homework at all. She was very specific about every little thing she wanted on the tests, which is fine, but she forgot to relay that info to the class. Take anyone but her

She was a sub for my teacher who was gone on maternity leave. She told more jokes than lecturing. She took off points for minor things like not writing that 2/4 is the same as 1/2. I was doing fine in the class until she came along. DON'T TAKE HER.

Nicole is the worst teacher I have ever had!! She is the most unorganized teacher at NHCC, very late in posting grades, where we took tests on chapters when she hadn't even graded our quizes yet. She is very anal about everything. She also grades by weight instead of points so you end up getting a worse score if you tend to do better on homework. T

This is a HORRIBLE teacher. Never take her, you will regret it. Never responds to emails, is unorganized, it takes her FOREVER to grade anything, I had asked for help from her and she never gave me any, she would just forget to respond to me. WORST teacher I have ever had!!!

The worst instructor I have ever had. I did get an A - and a fairly easy A. but the test grades were not posted until 2 months after each test. She was no help at all.

Ugh! Absolutely horrible. I actually used to kind of like math...but now, not so much. We do homework online; NOT IN THE TEXT BOOK! She makes stupid jokes the entire class(which by the way, are not funny) instead of teaching. She goes way too fast and is of very little help. I wish you luck...

Not helpful at all. Every time I asked a question, she answers a completely different answer. she also makes you look dumb when asking a question. DON'T TAKE HER!

DON'T TAKE HER CLASS!!! Very discouraging teacher, instead of motivating her students she is a wet blanket. Kept telling me i won,t pass the class no matter what. Not helpful at all. Very slow with grading too.

Some student who comment on here pretty much summarized what I was going to say also. She expect everyone in class to know how to do the assignments in class. She's picky about using the equal signs. Repeats over and over about equal signs maybe once is enough already. I wished I would of drop her class sooner.

If you are currently enrolled in one of her classes I recommend to drop it rn before its too late.

The worst professor I have ever had. I have a 4-year degree and needed calculus for graduate school and failed her online calculus class BADLY. I graduated with a 3.8 GPA and am an awesome student.. I had to drop her class after the midterm after getting 42%. Not nice AT ALL. I emailed her asking for help and she made fun of me. NO JOKE. EVIL!!!!!!

Cares more about your problems being written perfectly than the actual material. I lost points because she did not like how I organized my work. The answer was correct, but she likes her work written vertically with no arrows and I apparently did it horizontally across my paper which drove her mad. Insulted me on multiple occasions. Terrible. DROP

She was the worst teacher I've had at North Hennepin. I took this class online and the site she used for homework was awful, I do not understand why she couldn't use math lab instead. The homework is confusing and she's picky on grading. She didn't give any good material to review for the final. Half our assignments were not graded by the final.

One of the worst teachers I've had. She put questions on quizzes that we never covered in class. When my friend and I wrote down the exact same answers on a quiz, I would get it right and she would get it wrong and vice versa. She belittled us and got mad at us for no reason and gave the whole class snarky comments. DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS!!

AVOID. Took her online class; Didn't know what was going on until it was too late. She is not-organized and no structure to her schedule. Takes forever to return grades. We weren't updated on the assignments that were due until that week. With 2 other classes going on, her schedule was a nightmare. I didn't know what was due half the time.

I personally would say not recommend taking her. She doesnt really prepare you for your tests (even with the homework.) also, when I was getting feedback for something she was degrading when I did not understand something. The quizzes are so much harder than what youre exposed to.

Professor is confusing and does not know how to teach in a way that anyone else can understand. Gets distracted and goes off topic. All free response questions for quizzes and tests. No multiple choice test. I had to teach myself from the book and other sources. Worst teacher Ive ever had. Left class frusterated everyday. Dont recommend.

This teacher makes everything so difficult for no reason. She is so behind in grading all of the course material. It is the end of the semester and she is still grading stuff from unit 3. The lessons are youtube videos that she posts, and you are expected to get 5-6 lessons and homework done in about a week. Do not choose this professor!

The material isn't hard, but this prof is so disorganized that the class is hard. After the end of the semester, she still has 2 months' worth of grading left. Choose a professor that has a history of grading on a reasonable schedule. She is also really condescending when you ask questions.

Probably one of the worst professor i've had in my entire schooling experience. Handed out a lot of projects and quizzes during the semester and when it was time to post our grades she proceeded to tell us half of the quizzes and projects were not going to be graded cause she didn't have the time. Accused me of plagiarism on one of my projects.

She grade slower than a sloth. She gives out to much homework and I can't even do my other classes. It needs to be "Perfectly balanced, as all things should be".

lots of homework/video assignment. Teach too fast and expects students to learn quickly. Always has a disappointed face and seems annoyed if you dont understand something. Her reviews for the exams are very different than the exam. She expects you to be familiar with all the concepts so she switches the problems up in the exams. Dont take her class

She was really unprofessional. Very tough grader, I had many breakdowns because of the homework and the tests were nothing alike the homework. If you miss a day of class you miss the notes and you will not get them. She would always go on rants about random things not related.

The way how the class was ran wasn't professional. During notes she'd talk too much and we wouldn't finish the notes for that day. The grading system is out of the ordinary since it's not the typical one that's used with percentages, but meeting objectives. Took around 1-2 months before sending out our first grade check during the 4 month semester.

Should've went on this website when checking out classes, need to take this class again with different professor. I'm not great at math, trying to learn from her difficult, talks about everything else, and keeps showing formulas that we never use. Uses online calculators so you'd actually never figure out how you actually solve on online HW

Goes off topic frequently doesnt post things in a timely manner when she says she will She is often late on starting class going 20 minutes into class time on of topic issues that are not related to class She doesnt finish units that are supposed to be on the test Only benefit is once a subject is done in her CORE objectives it is not tested again

how she teaches is more if you got it, you got it, if you didn't then oh well. she says come see me, but i can't stay after class, i have work. i feel embarrassed just talking to her in front of the class because she wants everyone to hear what i asked. Her way of grading exams and homework like "core objectives" or "more objectives" i get so lost.

I really struggled with her class. The biggest thing is the graded notebooks are completely unorganized and complicated. I failed this class because I struggled so badly. Her lectures are terrible. As someone who is not the best at math, I found she was not the easiest to approach. I ret-took the class with another professor and got an A.

all homework is online, very tedious. she has her own grading system and uses standard based grade, very difficult to understand. in class she goes through notes- if you do not understand a topic right away you're screwed. gets off topic often and for a long time. difficult to approach in class, and does not give complete from online. HARD grader

Grading system is very confusing and atrocious to say the least. Extremely tough grader. Hard achieve certain goals throughout the class. Way too much homework. All homework is online which isn't very helpful for an in-person class. Homework and KC's (knowledge checks-her versions of tests) are nothing alike. Lectures are pointless. Don't Take.

Safe yourself the trouble and pick a different teacher. She has her own way of grading and her own made up terms that are very confusing to understand. Tons of homework and its all online. Always late for class and goes on little side rants that have nothing to do with the lesson so we never end up finishing the notes. PICK A DIFFERENT TEACHER!
