The class is fairly easy itself, she's super lenient, and is really helpful. She uses mymathlab and never gives any problems about it. Always answers emails! her test are about 15 problems, and are usually all focus on word problems. Shes a really good teacher! RECOMMEND.

Professor Ledesma is one of the nicest professors I have had. She is very clear in her lectures and she cares about her students. I highly recommend her. She offers extra credit for MLC hours and sometimes gives extra points on homework if you write out everything and are neat. Tests are a mix of multiple choice and long answer.

definitely take her class! she is super nice and really caring for her students. the subject might be overwhelming at first, but you'll get thru it just do your homeworks and have a good notecard during exams . we only use the book for homeworks so i would suggest not to buy the book... all in all difficult class but an A is very do able okay

This class is very do able as long as you put work into it. Do not listen to the previous comments. Yes it is hard, but getting an A is possible especially with the help of prof ledesma. Lots of homeworks and you have to show all your work to get the full credit! So dont be lazy and just do it!

This is one of the nicest teachers i have gotten. She will help you where you need help and gives a fair amount of extra credit. Only thing is stay on top of your studying you will quickly fall behind otherwise. The are no drop tests either once you take a test it stays as part of your grade.

This class was very interesting. Professor Ledesma made this class very engaging. She easy to understand and very helpful. You can go to her office hours if you needed more help. There were times I needed help when she wasn't there but in her class there is an SI leader, Robinson, who is very understanding and helps you if you go to SI sessions.

She is always there for her students when they needed help. As long as you ask for help when you are confused and do your homework you will pass the class. I got an A by visiting her office hours and doing my homework.

College Algebra is definitely one of the most difficult math courses, but Ledesma makes it so much better. I had taken the class once before and failed miserably, but this time I got a B, only because I missed some homework. The homework and tests are tough, but the notes are easy to refer to for help, and you can make up missed homework later.

There are 4 Exams and a Final. Roughly 2-4 chapters covered in each exam. 1 Project. She gives you note packets to use for lectures. Exams are based off her note packets. Super easy and very thorough. She explains everything perfectly and answers every question. The class is an easy A as long as you pay attention. Textbook is only used for homework

Taking Professor Ledesma was the best decision I made. Great professor, truly cares about students, and gives out notes so you can fill in during lecture which helps greatly on the exams. She makes stats seem so easy and understandable and if you ever don't understand something she will break it down so that you do. By far best math professor!

Highly recommend prof L she is a very competent teacher & goes above/beyond other teachers (provides the handouts. NO MATH LAB, paper HW (thank god). I loved her! I thought stats was going to be hard, but it actually wasn't. Just make sure you pay attention during her lectures and you'll be fine. I didn't even study for her final, yet I got a 95% on it. Out of all my exam scores, the 95 was my lowest test score. You don't really have to study because she lets you use index cards.

This is was my first math class in nearly five years and Professor Ledesma made taking classes during Covid-19 super easy. Her lectures and notes are super thorough and helpful. They always apply to the homework and exams, so they are absolutely essential to look at before doing either one. Graphing calculator is needed.

Took this class over the summer and it was surprisingly easy for me. We only need to go to class on the first day and the rest are all asynchronous. HW due every Mon and exam on Tue. Notes are allowed during exams, so you can basically cheat and the questions are very alike with the hw. Only recommendation is to start the hw 1-2 days beforehand.

Completing the HW and watching the practice exam videos and follow along with the practice exam tests should definitely get you a good grade. Great teacher! I took her Math120 class over the summer and easily maintained an A. Tests were open-note, homework was graded on completeness, and it was fully online except for the first day. Her lectures are a little slow, but it's not so bad if you're a slow learner like me. Very encouraging and not a tough grader.

I honestly thought taking Math 120 was going to be very tough, but it was actually the other way around great and very caring professor, her notes/lecture videos are amazing she explains everything very well. Amazing teacher! Her lecture videos are very well explained and organized. You need to watch the videos in order to understand your homework assignments and the tests. She is honestly not hard. I suck at math but she made it easy for me. Just follow along with the assignments and you'll pass! She gives out extra credit too. Which really helps.

Professor Ledesma is awesome! she makes statistics a lot easier. She lets you use a whole page cheat cheat for each exam. This is a very challenging class so make sure you study the practice exams which are identical to her exams. Do all her HW assignments and extra credit and you'll do great. If you need to take Statistics please take her.

Excellent and fun professor. I took her hybrid class and the recorded lectures were easy to follow and understand. A bit of humor is sprinkled in to keep it enjoyable. She's very accessible outside of class and will even take the time to listen to any personal problems and give advice. She's into anime so feel free to give/ask for any favorites.

She is super clear on homework's and provides option to receive extra credit. Her test are exactly like the homework

The professor is kind and understanding. There is a good amount of workload and the professor tries their best to assist students.

A very easy class if you put in the effort. Class goes over the homework and answers any question on her lecture videos. Homework is a lot but doable if done ahead of time. She's sweet and cares very much about her students passing her class. Plus she likes anime and will talk to students about it if they're up for it.

Professor Ledesma is really nice and caring when it comes to grades. I took the hybrid course which was easy enough that I could do all my work for other classes and get this class' work done when I could. She advises on taking breaks while doing the assignments and meeting only for tests made it easier if you have a busy schedule.

BEST PROFESSOR EVER!!!!!!!!!!! I used to absolutely hate math in high school, but let me tell you she will make you LOVE IT. She is funny, easygoing, and caring. She uses a lot of silly faces and loves anime. tests are a piece of cake and so are the assignments. she makes sure to leave comments and feedback that are really sweet.

In my entire academic journey, I have always been so terrible at math. Now, I am closing in on my last two semesters at Cypress College. I put off taking stats because I was so scared of failing the class. However, Professor Ledesmas's lectures are very easy to understand. There is a lot of homework but it was worth it passing the class with an A.

Hands down she is one of the best math professors ever. She's super caring and really comprehensive with her students and is always there to help you and motivate you. This is my second time retaking Statistics, and I would have never thought I was going to pass with an A. I absolutely recommend her to anyone!

All I have to say is math is one of my least favorite subjects and Professor Ledesma managed to make it fun and I excelled in the class. Same can go for you if you take her class.

My favorite professor BY FAR, at my time being in college. She understands her students and is simply there for you for support. Watch the lectures, take breaks and your grade will be an amazing outcome. She's one of the funniest professors out there and it makes her class ten times more fun. She loves anime so she can give recommendations! 10/10.

I struggle with math so much. I was nervous about taking this class. Professor Ledesma is caring towards her students. Her style of teaching helped me so much. I am thankful for her. I was able to pass this class with an A! If you put in the work, you can do it too.

I'm taking her class online. She is the best statistics or math teacher I've ever had, and I have her online. She would be the greatest of all time if it wasn't for the fact she hated One Piece in a lecture video. All jokes aside I respect her as a teacher. I feel embarrassed turning in my assignments late. Goated teacher, just do the work.

She was a great teacher. I have always struggled with math. She made my transition back into college very smooth. I followed the lectures and did the HW while watching her lectures.Very thorough teacher, explains everything in her lectures. She lets you take notes into class for exams. You will not be able to memorize math problems. Notes are key.

Professor Ledesma is an amazing professor. If you need a professor who truly believes in your ability to succeed she is the one. I struggle with math but she was always accessible for help. Amazing teacher. I took this class during summer/online never thought I will get an A, I was terrified to take this class! To my surprise her lectures are AMAZING must watch in order to learn, lots of HW but stay on track and you will be totally fine. Offers extra credit I did all of it, allows 1pg of notes on exams. Responds to emails so quick

Took math120 PC with Ledesma and she is so chill. This class was hybrid so we met in person for exams, more homework practice and to go over the homework. I wish more teachers were like her, she is very caring and easy going. I would retake her and recommend her 100%. If you can take stats with Nicole you will not regret it.

She allowed us to use the index card for test. She will make time to explain the problem. I hate words problem all my life since high school. I loved to take her classes because she explained very clear and take time to repeat if you don't understand the problem. You can see here high rate for this professor!

I'm so glad I took her for my stats class over the Summer, it was a hybrid course, only meeting for the exams. She allowed a cheat sheet for every exam and it was ridiculously easy to get extra credit (literally just turning homework in before the class) Her lecture videos are easy to follow, even though they're long she makes it interesting. 10/10

If you want to pass statistics definitely take her class! Lecture videos are long but you learn from them. She goes over every single detail! She allows a cheat sheet for exams and if you turn in your homework before the exam she gives you extra credit! She's always giving back feedback and she's so positive and encouraging

Her lecture videos are engaging and fun, making it easy to follow along and stay focused. She is patient and funny, encouraging everyone to ask for help anytime. I believe she truly sets her students up for success, her hybrid class is well-structured and all assignments are pretty straightforward (homework is graded on completion not correctness!)

I took this class as a hybrid, only having to meet in person for exams. Professor Ledesma's lectures and format are structured and easy to follow. She is very caring and gives feedback on assignments. Math isn't my best subject, but I was able to pass with a B, thanks to Professor Ledesma! :)

Professor genuinely cares and made me like math again! Lecture videos are long but help ALOT. I'd take her class again for any other math class required. Allows 1 cheat sheet on exam days which you meet in person to take 1x a month.

Words cannot explain how great of a professor she is!!! I hated math and could never understand I swear she did wonders to my head and always encouraged me she's super kind and funny and a great person to make conversation with i highly recommend you take it.

Such a great professor I personally struggle with math, but she made me enjoy it and find it easy. Not to mention her hilarious questions please take her if you can and struggle with math.

if you struggle with math you should take her class, she is the best math teacher I've ever had, as long as you follow her videos/lectures do the homework you will do just fine, everything that you need when it comes to the exams is given to you. She is very sweet and the class is very straight forward everything is really easy to understand.

I've never liked math and have never been good at it, not even in high school. But Professor Ledesma is incredible! I wish she taught every math class I need. If math isn't your thing you absolutely need to watch every lecture and take notes. The exams and final are literally the same. If you skip the lectures, you won't pass. Trust me, take her!
