Dr. M is the best teacher. This is not an easy class, but she tells you everything you need to know. She gives study guides and opportunities for extra credit. Wonderful teacher. I am disappointed she does not teach 202 or Microbiology.

This was one of the best classes I've taken online. Dr. M is clear and concise, funny, and engaging. The whole Science team is fantastic--the online course, including lab, is taught by video lecture. This class is only as difficult as you make it. Follow the instructions to the letter, don't procrastinate, do your homework and you will do well!

Dr. Mashburn is by far my favorite professor. She is extremely intelligent and knows what she is talking about. She is always willing to help,but she is a little challenging. Her tests are sometimes difficult, but if you consider yourself of average intelligence and put forth some effort, you'll be fine! I love her!

Dr Mashburn was extremely easy to follow in what she expected of her students. If you did what she asked and used the study guide, you would do okay. She gives practice review tests that can really help you. I learned a lot from this course and wish I could take another one of her classes.

This may sound weird but I only watched Dr Mashburns lectures online because I am a student at a college in Illinois. Found her on you tube to help understand A &P content because my instructor was completely unhelpful with rubbish lectures. Thanks! I liked her. Easy to follow and understand lectures.

Dr .Mashburn was very helpful to me. I had alot of questions and she Always answered me. This Is a difficult class, not so much because of her, but there is alot of material to cover quickly. I did not find that her tests followed the study guide though and that was frustrating. But, I am taking her again for A&P II because I know what she expects.

Amazing lectures. Timely response. Very positive. Don't procrastinate. You have one extension you can use on one set of unit exams. Extra credit questions on exams.

I like being able to work at a slightly slower pace with online classes and Dr. Mashburn's lecture videos make understanding anatomy pretty easy. With the online class, exams are 80% of your grade. So if you fail 1, you're screwed. But if you take the practice tests available on blackboard you should be OK. Mastering homework is 20% of your grade

I love Dr. Mashburn! I'm a business major so these required sciences suck but she ended up being one of my favorite classes. Her tests were hard at first but she has two projects mid-semester that she gives basically only A's which boosts your grade a LOT. She also has extra credit field trips. She makes you very aware of current events! Take her!

Watch or attend all the lectures, watch the lab videos twice, take good notes on the lectures, do the homework, and you will receive a good grade. It's obvious she cares for you to be successful. Would highly recommend her course.

Dr. Mashburns class is challenging, but if you study the PowerPoints hard, youll do just fine on her tests. She also gives plenty of extra credit opportunities. Definitely my favorite Science instructor at Calhoun!

Dr. Mashburn is an incredible professor. She is organized, sticks precisely to her syllabus, gives clear grading expectations, and teaches what you need to know for exams and future endeavors. You do have to have to study hard- very hard- but there are ample practice materials and study guides posted on Blackboard. 11/10 would take again.

Good teacher. Lots of extra credit. Get high grades on the lab exams and you'll be okay. There is a group project at the end of the semester but it's easy. She's got ample study materials and is clear on grading. Follows the syllabus exactly. I never had any problems with her. Only thing was she is a bit unapproachable occasionally. But she's nice!

This was a tough and challenging class, but you will learn a lot! There is a lot of work in this class, but that is just the nature of the class. It is the second of a sequence that surveys the entire human body! She really knows her material and has strong connections with the health industry today. She will teach you what you need to know.

Dr. Mashburn has been my favorite biology teacher at Calhoun to date (and I've had around a total of five different biology teachers). The work she gives is thorough and really helps you to understand the material and she provides everything online to view for study material outside of class. I absolutely loved this class and highly recommend it.

I honestly can say that I do not regret taking her class at all. This was a tough class for me. If you don't study more than the few nights before the test, you won't do well in the class. This class is a lot of work but honestly, she is one of the most genuine and caring professors I have had. She is always there to help.

Best biology teacher Ive ever had at Calhoun! I took her online and learned more than the last two biology classes I was in before. She is awesome and allows for at least 5 points of extra credit on every test. She is very concise and uses a very clear schedule. She makes it optional to purchase the A&P code, & provides lots of practice for tests.

Ive taken dr. Mashburn for bio 201 and 202! Excellent teacher! Her lectures are very clear and easy to follow along with! She uses examples and references to really help you understand the concepts! I passed both with an A! This class is difficult, more so 202, but if you really take the time to study youll be fine! Print the lectures it helps!

I loved this teacher! I took her Human A&P 1 class online and it took me a bit to get used to it, but once I did it was totally fine. She is super nice and understanding, and she gives you SO much material to help you learn and understand. She also gives plenty of study materials and a practice quiz for every test. Would definitely take again!

A&P2 was an online class. Everything for the entire semester is up and ready in blackboard when the class starts. Her lectures are well done and to the point. There is a lab exam and lecture exam for every unit (5 units total). These count for 80% of your grade. She offers about 5 pts EC on every exam. Fun class! Work hard and you will do well!

Dr. Mashburn wants to see you succeed in her class. I loved her lecture videos, and she was very clear on the material you need to study. She does give extra credit on every test. It is a lot of info, but as long as you keep up, you will make a good grade. You have a few weeks in between each test, but if you wanted to work ahead you could.

I took both A&P 1 and 2 with Dr. Mashburn and it was by far one of my favorite classes. This is not an easy A, but study and do your homework and it will be a great class. She answers emails really fast and has never been rude or that I was bothering her. Extra credit is given on each exam and also creates other extra credit opportunities.

I took Dr. Mashburns A&P 2 class this semester and I loved her! She gives you every opportunity to pass and makes sure you really retain the information. She is so caring and makes sure to give you opportunities for extra credit and responds quickly to emails. If you ever have to take an anatomy class, I cannot recommend her enough.

I really think Mrs. Mashburn is a great professor. I did not study as much as I should have and that's why I got the grade I did. She not only post a bunch of study material, but she also does videos going over the study material. She is very thorough and includes extra credit on exams. Honestly one of the best teachers I have had yet at Calhoun! She is a tough teacher when it comes to the material but she always sets everyone up for success. She takes everything straight from the textbook and is very easy to talk to. I used to stay after class and talk to her. Highly recommend!

Dr.Mashburn was a very great professor. I had her for BIO 104(Hybrid) and it was a small class which was great. She explains the material very well,her class schedule for the semester was very helpful, and she is overall an amazing professor.

Do all the extra practice tests because she usually takes several questions from there and puts them on the actual test. There's extra credit on all exams.

Amazing Professor. When I did badly on a test she reached out to me to try and help explain what I did wrong. Met with her on campus and went over the test I didn't do too well on and she helped explain anything. Next test I passed with flying colors. Textbook is recommended but as long as you watch the lectures and do the work you'll be fine.

Be prepared this class is very lecture, homework, and test heavy but if you put in the work it will be worth it. I have enjoyed this class, I attended everyday and I feel like I did good to keep up with the biweekly homework and how to study. There are plenty of chances to get extra points on the lab exams ( the easier exam of the two).

This is a tough course! The body is very complex. Dr Mashburn is not a difficult professor. You'll have homework for every unit please do it. The homework helped me to get a B even though I did not do well on the last exam. The lab test are straight forward. The lecture test are a bit challenging but they are not hard. Take her! You can tell she wants her students to learn, and she tries to make a difficult class entertaining when she can. That being said, it's largely up to us students to do the gigantic amount of homework for each unit (there is extra credit given at the end of the semester for doing all of it tho). It's also very easy to get extra credit for exams.

This class is not easy but Dr. Mashburn made it tolerable. I took BIO202 online and all lecture/lab videos are provided just like it would be in an in person lecture. She explains things very well. The people rating badly did not want to put in time or effort into a difficult BIO class and wanted answers handed to them.

While this class is hard as any anatomy class is, Dr. Mashburn is an excellent professor who really cares about her students. She gives some extra credit point on most lecture and lab test. She is also very good at helping you if you are struggling in the class, and gives lots of open lab opportunities where she walks through the material more.

She offers PLENTY of extra credit opportunities so it is impossible to fail. As any other anatomy class she has practical and lecture exams. She is the best person to go to for questions.
