Very fun teacher. Had her for Phil 100,120,130. Tests are not hard if you show up to class. Not much homework only minor reading required. No attendance taken.

AAAAAAAAAAAA++++ One of the best teahcers I have ever had in college. If you do the reading which are pretty long, take good notes, and review for tests you will get an A. Easy Class I even got a 3 out of 30 on a quiz and she took it off. Very nice,helpful,energetic, & clear teacher. Easy AAA. Dont even have to be there much.

She teaches interesting topics and brings in lots of outside materials. She has a slight Romanian accent, but it is still VERY easy to understand her.

she's super easy, she may start off a little crazy but she's romanian. you can totally cheat on her exams and she doesnt' care. but you need to come to class to do well. and she will try to convert you to be a vegetarian. other than that, she's really cool and easy and you are guarenteed an A if you do the work which is only exams, really easy.

She is very helpful and probably one of the most understanding and down to earth teachers at COD. She makes learning fun and challenges the students to really think about life. She also doesn't force her students into anything. The book is used a lot for readings, but not much at all in class. You'll need the book though.

Nicoleta, is great. This class will make you feel like you have more power. It has already helped me personally, in arguments with my freinds. She does however go on some crazy/cool tangents, that depending on where you lie on the subject could make you angry. She dosn't mean to piss you off she, is just opinonated. I personally found them neat

So I'm in my 3rd class with her right now and I plan on taking Business Ethics in the summer with her just because. She's hilarious and so damn smart - I like going to her class even though attendence isnt required. Because of her I became a vegetarian- not because she forces it but it just made sense to me after her class. amazing teacher!

She was an amazing teacher! I absolutely loved her class. She really knows how to teach and you really learn something in her class. You do need to study the book, but she lets you use your notes and book. By far the greatest and most nicest teacher I had! Thank you so much Professor Apostol for making learning fun!

She is a very interesting teacher and has a lot of viewpoints that will make you think. She was nice and helpful. You will need to get used to the accent though. Our class discussions often went off topic, but it was very enjoyable. You will need to attend class to get a good grade, but she is easy to work with overall.

OMG!!!! i took her over summer & loved her i failed the first test but i still had a B in the class bc 2 extra credit assignments tht were easy logic problems u dont have 2 get right jus hve 2 try lol plus she gives 2pts a day for attending class there are only 2 tests. the 2nd test was way easier.dont need 2 read she lectures whts on the test

Nicoleta is intelligent and delightful. LOGIC is a difficult class, but she does her best to make it understandable. As for hotness, she is very attractive and has a sexy European accent. I'm not in school to stare at attractive teachers, but, when the opportunity presents itself, it is a welcome bonus.

She was a great teacher and trys hard to help you understand everything that goes on in the class. One thing you really need to do is practice each of the methods that she gives you. I got caught up on one and it ended up causing me to lose ten points on a test. Other than taht she is very fun and she deffintley knows the topic and how to teach

THE BEST TEACHER EVER!!!! She's very helpful, puts everything we're supposed to know on blackboard, and she is ridiculously funny. Even though she talks fast and has an accent, she's very easy to understand, after awhile. Plus, she gives you extra credit. My favorite teacher by far! :D

There is no book for the class, so you have to be there in order to pass the quizzes & test. She's not as easy as everyone has made her out to be. Most of the time everyone talked before class trying to figure out the hw assignments because they were hard to follow. The only way people did so well in her class was because of the extra credit given.

She is a great teacher! She connects much of the philosophy to modern day issues. It helps you apply what you learned out in the real world. You become lightened in a way! I recommend her class! First test is somewhat hard and may seem impossible, but she's very fair in grading! You learn so much!

Absolutely amazing teacher

This teacher rocks! She is sooo smart and keeps it very interesting. She is very laid back but really unique. She does everything off the top of her head, no text book!!! She sometimes gets off the topic (Thank God!) and that's really when it gets interesting. Cool and awesome professor!!!

Very easy tests, along with a lenient grading system and many extra credit options. To be honest, Apostol is a very smart woman who could challenge her students more if she wanted to. My intro to philosophy class was more challenging and rewarding. But to people who are looking for an "easy" class with basically no homework or papers, this is it.

She is very nice. No textbooks needed, she gave you all needed reading materials online. Gave plenty of opportunity to get a good grade. Very laid back and not pushy. It's your grade and you have to work for it. I would without a doubt take her again. Really hard to fail to her class.

AFT-Ethics Class was interesting, no need for textbook. Sometimes difficult to understand when she starts talking fast. I might take a different one of her classes.

Niocleta is a wizard. Take this class. Everything is provided, no text book (Yay!). This class will make you think. One of the fairest instructors at CoD to date. Almost impossible to fail.

Great professor. Smart and knows a lot about business. Class was in business ethics, overall very interesting. Assignments are clear. Attendance is not required but I learned a lot from being in class because she explains well and shares lots of stories that make sense with the subject. You do presentations at the end.

Nicoleta is one of the best teachers I've ever had. She is fair, genuinely cares about whether her students are learning, and never EVER makes you feel dumb for asking (tons) of questions. Gives plenty of opportunities for extra credit on tests. I loved her logic class :)

She is a wonderful professor. Her teaching style is well suited for logic. If you want to learn and understand logic her class is the one to take. You have to attend class otherwise you won't understand the material on your own. Extra credit is offered.

Fantastic professor. She knows exactly what she is talking about and explains everything in a way that allows all students to understand. Sometimes she starts talking about things that don't really matter, but she is very interesting and intelligent. I am definitely going to take her again.

I took Reasoning online last year. Apostol is very clear with her instructions, and she answered quickly every email I sent her. Very generous curve at the end of class, she added lots of extra credit. Quizzes have no deadline so you can finish early or start late, very flexible. TAKE!

No a difficult class, very interesting subject. Ms Apostol is very helpful, gives extra credit and answers emails quickly. I finished the coursework in less than two months because she makes it very flexible. You learn a lot.

Mrs. Apostol is amazing! Her class is excellent. You take 10 online quizzes (which are easy if you studyknow the material), 2 tests 1 out of class and 1 in class and then you take the final online and she also gives you a writing assignment before-hand. She gives a lot of extra credit and curves. She's very witty and insightful! Wonderful teacher!

Professor Apostol exceeded my expectations. She provided great feedback on HW assignments. She was quick with responses to questions. Very well organized. Syllabus was very clear. Read read read and you will be well prepared for the quizzes.

I have not met Ms. Apostol in person but, through the online course and through email, she has been very nice and helpful. Her class syllabus is clear and understandable. She sends reminders when quizzes and assignments are near the due date. She encourages to finish the assignments to ensure that the students don't fall behind. Strongly recommend!

Really interesting class and very knowledgeable professor. She's also funny and approachable. Several online quizzes with extra credit and open book, one paper, one group presentation. She keeps it interesting and gives good examples because she also has degree in economics or finance. Not easy class but not difficult to get an A either.

Took Ethics 1100 with Prof. A. Quizzes, discussions and a paper. You can work at your own pace. She answers questions pretty fast but all is straightforward because quizzes are direct from book and account for most of the grade. You can work at your pace but there deadlines. I finished the course early because all quizzes open on the first day.

Professor Apostol was a very nice teacher, and this is the second online class that I took with her. She replied to my e-mails in a timely manner, and also helped me understand the writing prompt when I didn't entirely understand it. I think she is a good teacher. Its kind of a tougher online class but the dates are spread nicely so it's not rushed

Very straightforward, no-nonsense teacher. Class is just about as difficult as any philosophy class. I also took Intro to Philo with her a few semesters ago in class, she is very energetic, tells awesome stories, her lectures are really inspirational and she is funny, also very caring. Take her in class or you miss a lot! She changed my life.

online, quizzes with open book, one easy assignment

Learned a lot. She offers extra credit, the quizzes are all open from start of semester so I finished a month early. Answers emails quickly. Discussion board topics are cool. Pretty easy A if you read.

Super nice! I wrote my paper at the last minute so was not very good, she gave me a bad grade but I explained to her what happened. She let me redo it and basically showed me every sentence that was right and which was wrong and why and showed me in the book where exactly to look to apply theory. I'm taking her again next semester

I like this class because it's not your typical online class where you can just google answers and get by. She actually makes you work for your grade. The majority of her quiz/exam answers are NOT on google HOWEVER if you read the book you will do just fine. She gives tons of extra credit and is very encouraging! LOVED her discussion topics!

She is the best. If you like to think, take this class. Take into account that you are going to college so read and study the lectures. You need to really understand the topics and you will do great. I recommed her

Very fair, clear grading criteria. You don't have to submit work every week, only about 3-4 deadline for the semester but you can finish early as I did even in a 8 week class. My first philosophy class and I really liked the articles and the forum discussion. Answers to quizzes from book but be sure to read before taking quiz or hard to find them

I'm not sure who the previous rater is referring to but you do not need two books and she only teaches online. The class is quite easy but you have to read. All tests are open at the beginning of the semester so I am now far ahead because I plan to finish the course early. Only a few deadlines. Extra credit offered.

I took her online class this summer and it went really well. You are expected to read every chapter and then you will take a timed quiz on each. She gives you more than enough time to finish the quizzes so there is no need to stress about it. I would highly recommend even though there are a lot of quizzes and homework! All open book.
