Great teacher! Anyone who had a problem with her must be a real loser or moron. If you read the book she assigned then you should ACE this class NO PROBLEM. She's attractive as well, which never hurts! She was very clear on the class requirements. Very pleasant attitude as well! Wish she taught other English courses so I could have her again!

She is a decent teacher. She can be fair and helpful at times but other times rather frustrating. If you have a poor writing history she will take advantage of you. Overall easy class but feel I would have learned more with a different professor.

I strongly recommend taking her short story class in winter term. It's only 10 days and its a great way to get an English requirement. Its a lot of work, but classes are fun, mostly discussion based. As long as you do your homework, you'll be fine

Professor Nicola is great. If you show up to class, do the homework and take your essays to the writing center you should have no problem getting a good grade in the class. Some people in my class didn't like her but Prof Nicola was the best English professor I've taken. Most of the time you get out of lectures early, and her grading rubrics are clear.
