He was a great teacher. He cared about all of the students and communicated very frequently. Any problems were usually due to the student's inexperience. He is open, friendly, and helpful to his students. I haven't met a teacher that has balanced professionalism, lecturing, and humor all at the same time. He's a phenomenal individual

Nikhil was a great to learn from. I came out knowing more than I went in with. Pro: Learned R, he sent out internship opportunities, was respectful of my time as a working professional. Tips to Pass: Read Slides, do homework, complete in class assignments. Study those materials for exam.

This class could have been REALLY hard, but he makes it easy for students who are also working and have other responsibilities. A bunch of group assignments, which honestly aren't that hard, but get yourself a good group! It matters. Daily quizzes and open-book exams are straight from lecture slides. Even if you don't understand you can get an A.

I took a 2.5 hr saturday class and he made sure we practiced the math concepts with neighbors/groups and switched things up with videos and powerpoints so we truly learned. 1 homework per week. Open note quiz given at beginning of class and turned in at the end of every class. Exam open note. 4 group assignments that were basically spreadsheets.

Online, easy A. All the HW is easy, once you get it. Go to math lab if you need help. Weekly Quizzes are cake. Exams are cake. All quizzes and exams are open note/ slides/ book. There'e no reason you can't easily get an A in the class. Responds quick to emails. He emails out job/internship opportunities. His application assignments are easy too.

Nikhil cares that you pass the class. All tests, homework and assignments are open book. Id recommend going to class just to get a better understanding of what is going on and he does a quiz at the beginning of class (you can use notes on) tests are on canvas. The only "bad" part, he has a pretty thich accent and can be hard to understand.

In the 120+ hours Ive taken in my college career, I can say that you wont find a better professor than Nikhil. Math has always been my weakness, but Nikhil provides endless support and explanation for everything ranging from homework to resume help. Do yourself a favor and take his classes.

Professor Churi is very kind, and always willing to help. There was one homework assignment and one quiz every week, but those were not too difficult. We did a few group projects, but as long as you have a good group they should be totally manageable. 10/10 teacher

He really was a good, quality professor. He creates his own curriculum and challenges you to learn through various readings and application assignments. I was just planning on using typical study methods, but he teaches new ways to think and succeed while still learning well. Everyone did at the very least decent in the class. Would reccomend.

Nikhil is a great choice for taking Buisness Stats online. He grades fairly easy, and will always give you feedback on your assignments. One of the things that always bothers me with online courses is how absent professors can be. This is not Nikhil. He will not bombard you with pointless messages, but he is there to answer any questions you have.

I really enjoyed this professor! He is very kind and always willing to help you if you get stuck. Only one harder assignment, but it still wasn't terrible. Homework every week and a few tests throughout but all fairly easy.

This class scared me to death because Im not great in math classes. My grade would have been higher had I done all the assignments. I had questions on things and would reach out to her and I ALWAYS got answers from her very quickly. She actually cares if people understand and pass the class. I would recommend her over and over again.

Nikhil was a perfect teacher. He was truly invested in my education but also my future. He took the time to follow-up regularly and give opportunities to grow and improve. He showed the application of what we were learning and how it can apply to our careers (not easy for a class that has students with all different majors).

Prof. Churi is extremely invested in the success of his students. He is head and shoulders above the other professors I have taken, particularly online. On an almost weekly basis, he would send the class dozens of local internships that were available, send us many resume tips, and spent so much more extra time to help us in and outside of class.

He was really helpful when you needed an extension. He cares about his students success and the course isn't difficult by any means. If you are taking Stats classes, take them from him. I had a different professor but dropped out and took it from Churi later and it was so worth it.

Dr. Churi is a great professor. The assignments for this class are not easy, but Dr. Churi does a great job at explaining how to solve them without making the process overwhelming. The class is perfectly structured and as long as you work on this class on a weekly basis, you will pass. I recommend this class and this professor.

Ive never met a teacher that cares more about his students. Outside of school work, he was constantly sending us emails and messages on canvas to help us with real world situations. He really loves his job and it shows. Hands down he is totally worth taking.

This class was done online during COVID. That was the only hurdle. Otherwise, it was a dream. The professor was always helpful and answered any question you had. He was clear in his tests and assignments. He reached out multiple times a week with job opportunities and things that could help us. Really great experience!

Took this course online and Dr. Nikhil Churi provided lectures and many different resources to help his students better understand the material. He was also very fast to respond to messages and flexible on due dates when I needed it.

Nikhil was an amazing teacher. He truly cares and wants you to succeed. I took the block class (6 weeks) and he recognized it was a lot of work in a short amount of time so he was very helpful to make sure we weren't overwhelmed. He explains things so clearly and the homework isn't too hard.

I was very nervous about this class since I struggled with Stats I, but this professor made it just about as easy to succeed as possible. If you put in the work, you'll definitely pass. The class structure was fairly simple: Weekly homework + quiz, a few exams, and then 3 projects which require for you to solve a few problems using Excel and R.

Professor Churi has some opportunities to improve canvas assignments, but he was very willing to provide alternative resources when things out of our control happened with some software used. He was kind and very responsive to messages for clarification. If you are a student who likes to work ahead, know that it may be harder with this professor.

Honestly my favorite course this semester! The professor does offloads a lot of the teaching to these videos that teach what to do, but honestly the videos taught the content extremely well so I didn't mind. He was changing some of the course this semester so some assignments were slow to post but let us know he wouldn't take points for late work

Professor Churi is so caring and he wants to help his students do the best they can. Homework, quizzes, and exams are all open note and taken through McGraw-Hill. Not too difficult. A few assignments required the use of R-Programming, but we weren't given much direction or any instructions. However, the tutors in the business lab were able to help.

I had an unexpected surgery during the semester that put me out for a week and he helped me not feel behind and I did not stress about his class while recovering. Amazing. Would strongly recommend.

I learned so much real job important stuff in this course. I am a project manager hoping to finish my degree and do more and what I learned was actually applicable to work and what I want to do. Awesome Professor. There is a lot of homework. It is always with a guide on how to do it, there is just a a lot of it. Surprise exam at the end that was kind of a bummer he did notify us with 2-3 weeks of time to prepare it was just added on so that was lame. Overall an easy course, just a lot of homework.

This course includes assignments on Excel, SQL, and Tableau. The majority of assignments come with video guides to help you understand and complete them. If you are unfamiliar with the programs, there is no need to worry because everything you need to know will be covered in the videos or in canvas posts.

I really enjoyed the class, I had always wanted to learn how to use excel more effectively and that happened as well as learning the basics of Tableau. I would recommend this professor to anyone, if I have the chance i will certainly take from the same professor.

Had the class online. Professor Churi had a routine set out that was easy to prepare for during the semester and no crazy or outrageous assignments. You learn the skills necessary for the course with each assignment, so you don't feel like you're just wasting time each week.

This class had a decent work load. Every Sunday, assignments were due and they required at least an hour or more to complete. He was understanding when I was unable to turn some assignments in on time. Keep up with the assignments or even get ahead and you'll do great! The assignments are more step-by-step and the final had a study guide to help.

One of the best professor that I have ever had. He truly cares about us as students and wants us to succeed. Whenever I had questions or needed help he responded as fast as he could and always was able to help me. A few of his assignments were a little long to finish, but he helps you with videos to watch.

This class was a good class to take online. The assignments take some time, but there are step-by step videos that walk you through the material for the week. There was also one group project for the final. My only complaint was that the professor was often very slow to reply to emails with questions... like 3-7 days to get a response.

By far one of the top professors at UVU. He makes the assignments super easy to follow, and he is extremely understanding if you need extra time to do your assignments. Take this professor, his classes are easy and you will pass! If you don't pass then you just didn't want to do your assignments or you didn't reach out to him for help. TAKE HIM!

Amazing. One of my favorite and most useful courses I have taken. The class is organized tremendously well so each week you have a perfect workload and it's super easy to follow. The professor is really good and helpful and he had been inspiring us with his thoughts and the lectures are nicely presented to us and he is very helpful as that when we have any doubts he is always present to us and clear the doubts.

I took Business Stats II online. With Stats being a difficult topic to learn online, it was very helpful to have an abundance of videos to help me learn the topics. Additionally, you have unlimited chances on the homeworks and can learn through trial and error without sacrificing your grade.

I rarely write on this site, but I use it to locate good professors. I can say without a doubt that this professor is hands down one of my favorites and cares who you are instead of seeing you as a number. I highly recommend that you take this class with this professor.

HW assignments weekly, midterm/final project, & final test. HW was easy, just follow the videos. Midterm/final were harder because expectations weren't clear, but you get a lot of points for demonstrating your effort. Needs to be more resources available. Test at the end was info we never discussed, but he gives a guide with what you need to know.

Nikhil was very accessible outside of class hours. I was late completing some of the assignments and had some hard personal things come up, and the professor was very accommodating. The assignments given were long but felt immediately applicable outside of academics. I'm really grateful to have Nikhil as my professor in this online course!

You only need to spend two hours a week to finish all the assignments for a week. The assignments are not difficult, except for four Project Assignments, which require some basic Excel and R program usage.

It's an online class but he is very responsive. He does Team sessions multiple times a week in case you have any questions about projects. He also responds to your email quickly.
