Very easy class. Professor Wingate makes sure we understand the material and in every class, we often just play Kahoot. She makes sure we understand the material of the course. We have around 2-3 assignments due every 1-2 weeks but the work is very managable.

Prof really cares about being able to use marketing regardless of your major. Personal marketing plans really makes you think about where you will go in your career and class discussions involve tough current events dealing with ethical dilemmas in business. Grade-wise, she has clear expectations on how to get an A. Lots of extra credits.

Dr. Wingate really cares. She wants all of us to succeed and goes out of her way to help. She gives lots of extra credit that not only help me pull up my grade but also to understand the whole concept of the class. Her Kahoots are fun to play and she shows lots of current examples and cool videos. Take her class!

Prof Wingate wont budge with late assignments. I was lucky to get extra credits with my attendance and course evals. Even though its not mandatory you have to go and listen. Details of her grading are revealed in class and not in Bb. She literally tells you what to do to get an A in class lectures. I hear people on zoom who tune her out suffered

It was a great class, definitely need to participate and stay on top with your stuff because everything had a good weight per assignment.

Professor Wingate really cares about her students. She gives us extra credit to make sure we do well (even if we miss assignments) and makes class fun. We play Kahoot a lot and she basically gives us exactly what we need to do to do well in the class. Definitely recommend.

Overall, Professor Wingate is a real sweatheart. She wants you to do the best possible in class and is always available to help outside of the classroom. As long as you complete all of the work, you'll pass. If you're used to getting A's, you can 100% achieve that here with no problems.

Prof. Wingate helped me a lot this sem. If you go to the class and just do the assignments youll pass with flying colors and actually learn a lot more about the topics. She gives extra credit and truly wants her students to do well.

Professor Wingate is a very personable and helpful professor. She gives great insight during her lectures and tells you everything that is expected of you for each assignment. In my experience, Professor Wingate is also extremely accommodating, and is willing to offer help when you ask for it. Its a lot of work but worth it to enroll in her class.

No late work accepted but extra credit to help make it up. Always available and helpful. She really cares how we use marketing in our real lives.

Lots of extra credits but keep up with deadlines!

Professor Wingate was an amazing choice for Principles of Marketing. She makes the lectures fun by sometimes doing Kahoot for extra credit or group work. If you keep up with the deadlines, you will definitely end with an A in this class. Would definitely take again!

Class is super easy if you work ahead of deadlines you can honestly finish the course in 2 weeks if you want to. Midterm and Final are not too bad. The only downside is that Dr. Wingate is not as helpful as she seems to be, she will always respond to your emails but redirects you to her TA instead of herself helping you. If you want an easy A take

Everything in this class is online and if you sat down could finish all of it. During class time you play kahoot and talk about articles on the WSJ. The class is very easy if you show up and participate. I would strongly recommend wingate as she cares a lot for her students. Easy A.

Some people do not get what she's trying to do - which is to help you. If you reach out to her, she helps you. It's not just marketing but life lessons.

Grading system is different than most classes, but it's REALLY beneficial if you take the time to understand it. It looks like a lot of homework from the beginning but her system is set up so you can pick and choose what assignments to do. You're basically collecting points over the sem. So if you have a 90, get a 50 on final, your grade won't drop

She watches every video and sends you personal notes to congratulate you on your great work. Motivating and caring.

She was so genuinely caring when I needed mental health assistance.

Prof Wingate is amazing. She knows what she is talking about and tries to relate every class to real-world situations. You get to choose your grade and she is very quick to respond to emails. Classes are very light, first half you usually read and go over a WSJ article, and second half is a kahoot for that chapter's content.

Dr. Wingate truly cares about how you are as a person and how you would advance in your career even if you are not a marketing major. Her assignments are planned in a way for us to take a deep dive on how we are as people to plan our career trajectories while meeting and working with different people ....

I really wanted to get personalized guided path to be able to conduct the marketing analysis she listed as a mandatory component of A+ She returned my questions with how I can improve to be the best applicant to the graduate programs I am aiming for... the kind of research experience she offered is bar none

For the introductory MK201, she is the best one to take if you are able. She lets you soar.

Loved Dr. Wingate! Shes really caring and is a fast grader. No tests, everything online, given the option for essay or test midterm/final. Discussion based course, learning and lecture done at home.

She gives really helpful feedback for me to improve as a future researcher! Several opportunities to submit revisions instead of just submitting the paper at the end with no way to revise. Loved how fast she turned around my draft with constructive comments I can use in my future research career and to apply to grad schools.

You do the work for the grade you want. She makes it clear at the very beginning of the semester and clearly labels the point values of each assignment. Easy grader.

I don't get why other students complain. She made it so clear to get an A in her course and helped with any questions I had throughout the semester. There were grace periods for deadlines and tons of extra credit points. The others are mad just because they didn't do the work like I did. If you are smart enough to read her syllabus, take her. I felt like I knew her so well even in the online course because she communicated so frequently. I loved her discussion assignments and how much of detailed feedback she gave me multiple times before submitting the essay. Extra credits were helpful and made me think about getting involved with academic festival.

Professor wingate made the expectations very clear from the first class

I love her lectures. You do lots of group discussions and she doesn't just read off PowerPoints like other professors. You get to do VR homework which is pretty fun. Take her!

She's so caring. She remembers what we talked about earlier in the semester and asks us about how we are doing.

A lot of the class is going on the Wall Street Journal, looking at an article surrounding a company of some sort, and then discussing what they're doing in connection to what's being taught that day, professor wingate does a good job of reinforcing the material, but sometimes, class gets boring and it becomes a bit of a drag.

Very nice lady and a pretty easy class. Lots of group work which is good. The grading system is different so it gets a lot of slander, but honestly, I like it more. It's easier to get a good grade. Show up and do the work and it is an A

Positive and has a lot of energy for class. Very understanding, responds quickly to emails, detailed feedback. Extra credit points for getting kahoot leaderboard, attend events in the business school, participate, or submit work before deadline. Most days we read and discuss an article, can be boring. I'm surprised at the ratings of some students - she is sweet as can be, and her grade bf is super clear. You know at any point how many “total” points you have. All you have to do is to collect 93 points and you get an A. Final exam is a breeze if you watched the video and went to class. She pretty much tells you exactly how to write the essay.

I love how she didn't fail me but gave me extra chances to pass. She really bc cares. She took me seriously when I shared my challenging situation. Thank you Dr. Wingate!

I like how we talk about what's happening right now. Wall Street Journal articles provide lots of real world examples and I enjoyed the discussions. Attendance matters in this class! If you are there every class and does what she says (she gives out templates for the final essay) then it's an easy A!

She is such a sweetie! Gives tons of extra credit. EASY A. Virtual Reality can be time-consuming though.

This class was fine, didn't learn a single thing though. Assignments were super easy and didn't take up a lot of time. She always answered any questions I had quickly but the grading point system can be a little confusing. Just submit what you need to on time and you'll get an A. Don't expect to learn anything though.

I'll be so honest, the class was great. The work itself is really straightforward and simple. She gives you quizzes to get done outside of class, which aren't bad tbh. Then the final was basically the same assignment we did at the beginning of every class. As a teacher she was really nice and I'd definitely make an effort to take her again. 10/10

I loved how she encourages us to use AI in class projects. It was fun making tiktok video using Sora. Class can be boring sometimes but sometimes it's fun depending on that day's Wall Street Journal article. Easy A if you just follow her instructions. Deadlines are lenient also
