Professor Nikoo is very clear, and her class is fascinating. You learn about things that matter. Her class is useful for your life; you won't lost your time believe me. You need to participate and put effort. She is organized with the material. I strongly recommend her.

I have had the pleasure of taking Professor Berenji's class this semester and love every minute of it. It is a three hour long class, but does not feel like it. She gives real life examples and makes the class very understandable and interesting. She is definitely such a nice professor, but also expects you to get your work done. TAKE HER!!!!!!

Professor Berenji is an engaging, inspired instructor. She has and shares her passion for her subject, and is patient to nearly a fault. I highly recommend her Business Law 001 course, and will investigate further courses to take from her myself.

An incredible professor! I highly recommend taking her. She is so intelligent and this class was very interesting. Actual useful knowledge you can take with you outside of school. The class is a combination of lecture and hands on critical thinking. A refreshing teaching style, she actually writes on the white board, instead of just using PP.

Honestly I have been at Valley College for a year and have not met someone as nice as Professor Berenji. Her lectures are very interesting and she always makes sure students understand the notes. She is the reason I changed my major to Business. Would 100% recommend taking her class.

Amazing class! Great lectures, and fun in-class group projects. First class, she walks in pregnant. I was worried about how the class would go, but she stuck with us for a good 2/3 of the semester, and gave is a great substitute. Would definitely take a class with her again.

She's always full of energy and ready to start class. She has a great sense of humor and I would highly recommend her law class. We had class discussions based on fictional cases as well. Very fun.

Professor Berenji is an amazing Professor. The class lectures were always interesting and when students participated that made it even better. Very light amount of homework and her tests are very fair. She gives an outline for each one and if you study and take good notes, you will pass.

Although she left halfway through the semester to have a baby she still took care of us while away. Every single class with her was interesting and made me want to participate. Amazing class!!! The class wasn't requirement for me, i just took it to get knowledge in business law and that was really valuable choice. She was the best lecturer I have ever had. Professor is awesome she makes everything clear and easy to understand. Drops lowest test and really interacts with th students, shes awesome and is caring shes captivating and reviews test and even allows a cheat sheet. Lets just say this teacher is so good I am thinking of changing my major to Law..... she's really made learning fun we are allowed cheat sheets on all the exams and even if we didn't have that I'm pretty confident I would still pass the class with at least a B.

Professor Berenji is an excellent teacher. Her lectures and fun and interesting. Go to class and do the homework and you should do well. She does curve when necessary and offers extra credit.

Great instructor! Clear & interesting lectures. Very approachable and accommodating. Very little homework, so the grade is mostly dependent on exams and there is quite a bit of reading. Very useful info for life and business. Only gripe I have is she sometimes lets people derail her lectures with dumb and/or off-topic questions for legal advice.

I dreaded this class until I took it. She is a wonderful professor and person. She has been patient and caring. give it all she has to make sure that her students have the answers of their questions. I would love to have her be the professor of all my classes, lol

Professor Berenji, provides amazing lectures and fully prepare students for each exam. Her lectures are geared to help students compute the legal system to real-life situation. She allows students to as question pertaining to the lecture and she ensure you understand the complex legal system. I would definitely take more law courses

I was unsure on what to expect dealing with a Business Law Class, but I'm glad I had the chance to experience and with Professor Berenji as my first instructor. She knows her information and if she doesn't know, she'll find out! I enjoy that she uses real life cases and examples to help solidify the information she is presenting - lots of reading!

My favorite kind of teacher, tests are based on lectures and terms. She gives you what you need to know, if you pay attention and participate you will do well on exams and projects. Her class isnt hard if you make the effort. I wish all my professors were like this.

Any university or school Professor Berenji teaches in is fortunate to have her. So show up to class, take notes and you'll be ready for exams. In case the class does not do well, she also curves exams and offers extra credit. She's one of the few lecturers who could talk, breathe and live law, that's how knowledgeable she is about the topic. A+++

Professor Berenji is Super wonderful, she is nice, caring, and very good at what she does. She teaches Law 1 which is business law and whats great about her is her real life experiences considering she was a business lawyer but left her job to teach business law. I highly recommend her! MUST TAKE... YOU WILL LOVE LOVE LOVE HER!!

Law 1 with Professor Berenji was the best class I've taken since starting college at LAVC. She makes the lectures very engaging, informative and fun. The classwork is very doable and the exams are quite easy (and you're allowed to use a study guide). I absolutely loved and enjoyed her class and if she taught Law 2, I'd for sure take it with her!

Berenji's law class is absolutely great. She's easily one of the best professors at LAVC. She's clear with what she wants from her students and is always available to help students further understand the material. She has 3 exams which allow cheat sheets, a few 5 Q quizzes online, and some in-class discussions. I highly recommend taking this class.

She's excellent & is passionate about law. There's several group assignments where the class is broken in half to represent each side in court. HW is easy & allows cheat sheets for tests. Her notes can be a little disorganized, but her PowerPoints help clarify content. She's willing to answer questions anytime & encourages it.

I took this course during COVID . Professor Berenji did her best to organize the class well. She is a really caring and helpful instructor full of energy and readiness to help the student. The discussions and group assigments require some reading and work but it makes class very productive.

Covers the fundamental of beginning law to the business ethics of the contracts. Very well knowledgeable professor, caring & understanding in helping you in as much that you need for you to pass class. Do not tend to slack off as it will be very difficult for you to catch up, you must keep up with all your reading assignments to pass & do all work.

Absolutely would take any class with Professor Berenji. Shes knowledgeable, makes things easy to learn by using real life examples, group assignments were difficult to complete due to Covid but overall it was doable. I enjoyed her lectures, and she is excellent at teaching you to think about the details in constructing claims. The textbook is needed and helpful. You will go over cases in detail. She is an encouraging professor, her enthusiasm as a lawyer and a professor shows. I felt motivated, excited and encouraged to learn. Interesting class discussions.

I love Professor Berenji and the way she is teaching. She is very caring, hilarious and respected teacher, and I would definitely retake her. There are some group assignments which are very interesting and, for me, they were easy. Just work with your group, submit all the assignments, do well on the exams, and you'll get an A. Extra Credit opp.

Professor gives quizzes that test your retention of key concepts from the textbook. Discussions are great applications of the material, group work is well-organized and in my case was rather pleasant, and the professor's explanations post-discussion are very informative. She's very flexible and reasonable if there are any conflicts, encouraging OH.

Missing lectures is usually pretty bad but the readings can keep you on track with the class, overall I'd take the class again and with the whole covid debacle she handled everything professionally.

I actually genuinely enjoyed her. She was very upfront about law being a difficult topic to learn, but was quite supportive and was open to students' opinions. I thought this class was going to be harder than it was. That being said there is quite a bit of reading, however, if you stay on top of it, it is an easy grade.

Truly one of the best teachers I've ever had. She genuinely cares about your learning and will go to great lengths in order to untangle any misunderstandings. Consistent workload due same day every week, which is very helpful for keeping organized. Also offers application problems for learning without being graded, goes to show how much she cares!!

She is one of the few professors who cares about her students; the workload is just a perfect amount. She gives extra credit opportunities at the end of the course for those who didn't do so well on the final. there are 2 exams. 1 midterm and 1 final both worth 200 points and over 60+ questions.

I took the online course so there were minimal lectures but a good amount of work to do. She grades extremely fair and is the kindest but still serious when it comes to doing the work and reading. Tbh, this course almost made me want to change my major. Professor Berenji is also easy to talk to and understanding which for me matters most.

She was amazing. I took this class during the Spring semester, but it was a short course. Every week, she gave us two quizzes and one discussion. You just need to do the reading, and you'll get an A in this class.
