Tough but fair professor, he gives you every opportunity during class to ask questions if you don't understand and spends about half of it going over example problems that will certainly be on all the short answer tests with different variables. Avoid if you're looking for easy.

At last! Someone who doesn't teach like this is high school! Best prof I've ever had. He is very very clear. Likes to make you think, so it's not an easy ride, but he'll go out of his way to help you understand. Some people are scared of him, but he's a sweatheart. And he's funny, too.

Take this class if you want to learn physics! Most People are put off by him because he demands that you understand whats going on. Not a professor that simply gives you a few equations then asks you to plug and chart. Graet teacher, Very fair grader and plenty of opurtunity to do well. Recomended for science majors.

HORRIBLE!!! That's all I can say. His teaching skills suck...had the nerve to tell the class to ask each other for help rather than ask him (I'm not paying BMCC for my classmates to teach me). His hygiene was awful and his attitude is arrogant and nasty. Marked 3 of us late when we were actually 3 minutes early. He is a miserable person.

Try to find another professor. Doesn't go over homework, or give review for text. Nor does he review the test afterwards. All test answers are posted on blackboard. He does know his stuff, but the skill of teaching it to students who knows nothing about psyhics isn't there.

He asks for a lot but also gives a lot. His tests are killers but if you do the homework you should be fine. He is very generous with his time and his knowledge. Always logged on. He can help a lot with his advice. You cannot find anyone better than him at bmcc or at any other cc. Ivy education at at bmcc prices. Incredible.

Going to med school, I decided to take my chances with him. He is what the other comments say. Although he is not easy, the way he teaches helps you understand the concepts. But you have to study a lot by yourself and do the homework. In my section half of the surviving class got an A. Terrific professor. I could not have asked for someone better.

Do you want to increase your stress? Do you want to lose your sleep? Do you want to risk a stroke? Do you want to develop nightmares? Then take his class. But ... Do you want to succeed? Do you want encouragement and advice? Do you want a real prof, a real course, a real grade and a great rec letter? Then take his class and do well. Truly awesome.

I have good grades in other classes, but his class just destroyed me, mentally and emotionally. I've never felt so bad in my life.

Phew. It was close. This was definitely the hardest class I ever took. The material is very hard. The math is hard. The homework is hard. The tests are from the homework, also hard. The final was not so bad. He actually asked us what grade we wanted! He seems to have listened else I would have failed. He is a great teacher, but very hard material.

He may be best teacher but he is definitely the most demanding one. He follows the syllabus teaches from the book and tests from the assignments. The homework is impossibly hard to do. He helps you a lot, if you go to his office. Please tell him that BMCC is no ivy. No time to study. He destroys our gpa's. Recommended only for really smart people.

Tests without numbers just symbols. No multiple choice. Memorizing does not work ! You have to do the hwk and hope for the best. Some, hard, extra credit. At the end he asked us to grade ourselves! He is the most brilliant physicist and the clearest teacher but only if your math is very good and you are willing to work extremely hard to do well.

I had a really hard time in this class but I got an A. He is a true college prof teaching for 4yr colleges. He knows a lot and is very clear but very demanding. Excellent advice for med and grad school. Treats you as an adult with a lot of respect. The best science teacher I had at bmcc. Get one of his classes before he gets a job at an ivy.

For smart kids, he is a great teacher. For all others, a nightmare. Everything he does is so full of math. Impossible hwk and tests. Extra credit, partial credit, study group, tutoring, nothing helps. Tell him we have a life, a family and a job. Cannot study 24/7 to get an A in his class. Give us a review sheet and some easy As. Or go to an ivy.

He is the best prof at bmcc but he is leaving ! Whaaat ? He taught totally on top of his head and forced us to think. His was the only real college class I took at bmcc. He was very friendly and even funny in a very hard subject. I hope his health improves and he comes back. If he doesn't, I am sure he will show up somewhere like MIT.

He is leaving for medical reasons for a while. Stressed out. I took the section just to have him. Bummer. He may be hard but his quality of teaching more than makes up for it. A star prof. The best for medical school. Ok, serious and old school but he really cares about our future. BMCC students sure to lose out. Some ivy will certainly hire him.
