She is very helpful and very well prepared for the class. Always use power-point presentations so can pay attention to what she says. Great class, great professor to learn from. Definitely recommend.
She is a really good teacher. She responds to emails within a reasonable time, always there for office hours, communicates well with students, and gives extra credit, && drops grades (:. This class is VERY easy, there is no reason why anyone should fail if effort is put in. RECOMMENDED. RECOMMENDED. RECOMMENDED!
she is really the best, very concerned about her students success. you will be glad that you registered in her class.
She is the best science professor ever!!! She shows genuine concern for her students' success in the class. Gives ample amount of extra credit! She is super nice and approachable. If you don't take her, then it'd be a huge mistake! By far my favorite professor at this school!
She is one of the best professors. She really goes out of her way to help the students, knows her subject, is down to earth, always available to help outside of her office hours too, answers emails, very patient. This professor is worthy of a lot of praise, needs to be teaching all kinds and levels of chemistry classes. If you need an A, take her.
Excellent professor. Knows her subject well, very patient, gives extra credit, always ready to help, wants every student to do well. If you want to make an A, then do take her, you wont'e regret it.
By far the most knowledgeable professor I have been fortunate enough to have thus far at GSU. She is very easy to understand, and she does not expect the students to "know what she knows". She will teach from the very basic fundamentals of chemistry and ensures that the entire class understands the material before moving on to the next topics.
Most helpful and greatest chemistry teacher ever! He helps you out a ton! If you try and study hard it is impossible to not make an A.
i personally thought fernando was an okay teacher ( Not the best). She likes to play games with people grades at the end of the semester. Going to class was pointless because she posts EVERYTHING online. She gave away a lot of extra credit points. And she did not prepare us for the ACS exam which was super hard.
She is extremely helpful. She is not at all patronizing when you have a question. She helps you understand basic concepts. The end of the semester was crammed.
Dr. Fernando is a great lab instructor because she was very straight forward about what she wants. Labs were very fast but luckily she sent powerpoints and handouts which made me prepare for 2 or 3 questions in the ACS. If you have a chance, you have to take her because she is very nice and helpful. She can be pretty strict at times but manageable.
I honestly did not think Professor Fernando was very good at all. She is really hard to understand and would get really snappy for asking questions. i don't recommend her.
She is an OK teacher. You can pass her class but there are several people who dropped out her class. Just take notes and actually study the notes! Lectures are the only thing she does and nobody really participates because there really isn't time for that. It is helpful to have prior experience in chemistry before taking her.
Dr. Fernando is your typical professor. She isn't very hard, and isn't very easy either. Classes aren't mandatory but attendance is recommended so you can be aware of the material being taught. If SI tutoring is still given, GO! It's a huge help whoever the instructor is will know the teaching style of the teacher and what will be on the tests.
Fernando was a great teacher. With her power points, recorded lectures and the textbook I was okay, but could've been a lot better. I highly suggest purchasing the textbook because you will need it for the next 1152 Chemistry class in the Spring if you're taking the sequence.
Dr. Fernando is such a great professor. She really helped me with understanding the concepts of chemistry. She gives a quiz every week, so attendance is mandatory. If you aren't in lecture, you WILL fail the quiz. She is ALWAYS at office hours. The SI sessions are helpful, but she can answer all of your questions. TAKE HER!!!!!!!!!
She's very dry and stand offish. I once went to her office hours and was expecting some interaction, but she was low-key rude. When I asked about my grades she shortly said, "They haven't been calculated." And that was that. No sign of concern or assurance that I could end the class well. Wouldn't recommend at all, not for this course.
She gives quizzes every week which is helpful when it comes to reviewing for the final. She posts PowerPoints online along with practice quizzes and tests that are similar to the test and quizzes that she gives in class. Don't miss her lectures because she writes them all on the board.
You really have to work for grade. Lectures are filled with notes, and she has powerpoint notes also. There are quizzes EVRY week, and 3 exams per semester. Look over EVERY question in practice exams and quizzes; worksheets help too. This isn't an easy class you can play with.
Very good professor for a class many people struggle with. Gives every opportunity for students to do well. No homework but gives practice quizzes/tests you can do. Was not rude but don't expect any favors if you don't attend class and show up at office hours complaining about grade. Go to class/take notes, go to office hours or SI and will be fine
I enjoyed Dr. Fernando's class. I didn't use the book at all she covers everything in class. There is no hw and before every quiz and exam she gives a practice one which is optional but I highly reccomend doing them. If you take good notes, attend every single lecture, study weekly, and stay on top of things there's no reason you won't make an A.
She's okay.
Prof. Fernando can't really teach concepts, and basically just did problems on the board the whole semester, often making mistakes that students had to catch. I found the book a great deal more useful. While many enjoyed her class, I personally learn by understanding why things happen, and not by memorizing the steps to solve an equation.
Dr. Fernando's class is the best chem Lecture class I have taken in GSU. She is very intelligent. She answered every question accurate in class: its amazing. She gives study guide for exams and quizzes which are very helpful. She makes complex concepts become very easy. I WILL TAKE HER AGAIN. She prepares you for the ACS. I'm glad I took her clas
the class was ok. She went too fast during lecture. You will need more than SI sessions and attending to class to pass the class. Everything was so confusing. I would take her again if she slowed down during teaching . If you love chemistry , and you're good at math , this is the class for you . If not , try a different professor
She is an awesome professor
Overall, I enjoyed Dr. Fernando's course and her way of lecturing. She writes everything you need to know on the board, so take notes and you'll do well. We had in class quizzes weekly and three tests. To do well, read the textbook like she says and review class notes nightly. It's definitely not an easy A course, but it's not impossible either.
Mrs. Fernando is a terrible teacher. She goes super fast in her lectures and doesn't go into enough detail. She's also not very good at answering questions, and it was often unclear what material to be studying for the next test/quiz. She gives weekly quizzes (which actually helped a lot),4 tests, and a practice ACS (replaces you lowest test score)
I enjoyed having Dr. Fernando for chemistry 1152K. She's very friendly and caring. Sometimes her lecture can be overwhelming and vague. But she's always there if you needed extra help. There are quizzes every week. Make sure you take notes in class and go to office hours. 1151 is the just beginning, just wait until 1152..
She a great lab professor. She really cares about her students and if you have questions she's always willing to answer them.
She seems very serious during lecture but is actually a very kind and genuine person. Make sure you go to class; lectures are important. Weekly quizzes. Her lectures can be vague sometimes, but that's because she relies on you to read the textbook, come to her office hours, and watch the videos she's posted online. You'll have to work for that A.
The. Textbook. Is. Key. Read the textbook and stop blaming her for your poor grade. Do the PRACTICE QUESTIONS in the textbook (they have answers!) She provides us with PLENTY of outside material to get a good grade. Also, she gives extra credit! Its not necessary to attend lectures but theyre pretty helpful in terms of reinforcement.
Read the chapters she tells you to before she covers them in lecture, otherwise you will be lost majority of lecture. She conducts very fast paced lectures so she tends to make quite a few errors working problems out on the board. Has not updated any of her study guides for exams since 2014 which can be very misleading while trying to study.
Never read the book. Attended every lecture, studied, went to office hours for questions, and I made an A+. You must study. Theres no way around it and thats where ppl mess up at. What she teaches in lectures is exactly whats on the test just different numbers. I ONLY studied notes and never made anything below an A- on a test. Just dont be lazy
Very straightforward chemistry teacher. It's very clear that she knows what she is talking about. If you miss class, it is a guarantee that you'll be behind. Every lecture is important. Attending her office hours are essential because that is the only way you'll be able to correct mistakes on quizzes and tests. Tough tests, but passing is possible.
Lectures are extremely fast. catches an attitude when you ask any question that she feels is wasting away her lecture time. same attitude is shown during her office hours. she doesnt provide answer keys for study guides on icollege so you are SOL if you have class during her office hours where she supposedly gives answers. do not recommend
Don't ask her questions, she'll make you feel stupid. There is a quiz before each lab that she helps out with, which is one of the only good things about her.
She doesn't care about you. She expects you to study for the class 2-3 hours every. single. day. All I have to say is good luck. I'd never take her again.
Read and take notes on the textbook chapter before you come to lecture or youll be confused. Most people do bad in this class because they dont know how to study. Dr. Fernando is very generous with curves and extra credit so dont freak out if youre not doing well on exams (unless youve failed every single one). 1152 is much harder than 1151.
I was skeptical of her teaching until she missed a class and Dr. Navarro lectured for her - out of the two of them, Fernando is way better. It's just a hard class. Lectures are long and boring, and tests are nothing like the practice exams. There's lots of exams, especially during midterms and finals - chapter test, lab test, and ACS back to back.
Honestly, she is not a bad professor but you have to WORK for the grade you want. The textbook is VITAL. This class is fine if you read the textbook and study. I would read the textbook, do all worksheets and practice exams and make Quizlets after each lecture and I did well. Don't rely on the practice exams, they are not like the exam.
You have to pay attention to lectures so that means you can't skip. You're not going to get all the information from the lectures so you're going to have to read the textbook. Doesn't give back tests or quizzes. Should probably study all the material and more like go to SI sessions if you want to pass.
Attending class and taking the course seriously are the most important things to focus on. She's a great teacher but its a hard course to cover in the amount of time that professors are given so you need to be ready to dedicate a lot of outside time to studying and reviewing the material. Go to office hours and ask questions, she will notice.
SO. She first seems sweet. I asked a question in class and she FOR REAL, smirked, looked at the class and answered me with that "obviously" kind of attitude. I felt like the dumbest person on Earth. I do like how she explains things though. I have to admit, she's a good lecturer, but if you struggle with sciences, note she never gives extra credit
This class was really hard for me. And from hearing my peers, a lot of them struggled too. I think her lectures are OK but if chemistry isn't something youre good at, it will be super difficult. Its very fast paced. The assignments are straight forward. Its basically just a bunch of online quizzes and then the exams. No extra credit.
Really nice lady. Hard class. Don't take this class if you have trouble with chemistry or want an easy pass at all. Be ready to study.
I am so sorry... if you want to do well on in this class you are going to have to study like crazy. Her lectures are very disorganized which made my notes very hard to read and look over. There is only hope for extra credit from quizzes... you are going to have to practice everyday... also she does not give answers for the practice exams and quiz
Nice lady, however lectures are very confusing and all over the place. You have to study everyday in order to pass this class. Practice exams are nothing like the real ones and she doesnt provide the answer key to any of the practice materials.
As long as you show up to class + make an effort there's no reason to not do at least okay. She is always there to help you in her office hours and will go over everything you need to know within the lectures themselves. While you dont technically need the textbook, it's really helpful for going over things you might not have understood in lecture.
She has a major attitude and doesn't know how to show respect even to students. Collects homework at random times instead of consistently, and expects students to know what she is talking about without explaining it to us.
bruhh do not take her when people say she's hard they're not joking you basically have to be smart in chem to do well im currently taking her and im falling really bad should of listen to the reviews smh
She makes the class hard. Shes all over the place in her lectures. She constantly makes mistakes not only in lectures, but on her tests as well, she then brushes it off as if its not serious. Students can give her the wrong answer on examples in class and she will roll with it until another student says thats not what I have, then she checks it.
DO NOT TAKE HER!!! She is all over the place during lecture and will leave things blank/not explain. She just sucks at explaining things. She never replies to her emails and when she does, she's rude. She doesn't post homework answers and makes you go to office hours and doesn't help. She's not understanding at ALL even during a pandemic.
Lectures are all over the place. She makes a lot of mistakes in her lectures and quizzes. She is very rude when it comes to answering questions. Tests are not that hard but she makes it so you can't go back to check or go over your answers on a quiz/test (tests are online now). Overall makes the class harder than it should be
If you get her RUN. Her class is lecture heavy, but her lectures are all over the place it makes studying very difficult. She is NOT accessible out of class because she refuses to answer emails and always cancels her office hours. She's probably a good person but professor wise... You're better off with ANYONE else
She is not accessible outside of class at all because not only does she NOT respond to emails, but she also randomly cancels office hours or adjusts them and announces it right before her actual hours begin. She posts worksheets up but does not provide the answer keys online or in person so you won't even know if you're doing stuff right.
lectures are all over the place! she does NOT stay after class! she is never available for her office hours even tho she said to go minimum 2X a week but is rude when you go! good luck getting a response from her on email, & if you do she never answers your question EVER!! the WORST teacher ever wow!she messes up a lot & when corrected she gets mad
Great professor. If you go to her office hours, she'll really guide you through the course. Lectures follow the textbook material closely.
As far as chemistry goes, a pretty good professor. If you go to class it should be relatively clear. The lectures are straight forward. The tests aren't bad. When we went online the tests were timed but it was more time than in class. Practice quizzes and homework are available to help. Should pull an A if medium effort is put in.
She was very critical of all your work, but she gave you corrections on the spot. We met every week with her and our group. She's very nice and understanding. She tells you exactly what she wants and when she wants it. Just do what she says and you'll get an A in the class.
If you can avoid, try a different professor
I tried to take this class during the summer and ended up dropping it before midpoint. No extra credit. If you struggle in chemistry, take it during a regular semester. She doesn't show you what you got wrong on your quizzes or tests, which makes it hard to know what you need to focus on more for test prep.
Took Dr. Fernando over the Spring. I attended all the opportunities to engage with her and I would describe her as friendly, calm, and respectable. Yes, she makes some mistakes during lecture and content publications, but we're all human. Minimally condescending. Overall, I enjoyed this class and professor and I would take both again.
please whatever u do do not take this class. the only reason ur considering this teacher is because u are probably signing up late for classes and shes the only option. we never went through the material in depth enough and the teacher didnt seem to care enough. stay far away from this teacher if u want to keep ur mental health in check.
I wouldnt sign up for this professors course again if my life depended on it. There is only 3 grading categories. Tests are worth 65%, quizzes 15% and the final is 20%. Doesnt seem that bad until you see what kind of questions shes putting on her tests. She has to curve the final because everybody is failing it.
I tried to take Dr. Fernando's Organic Chemistry class over the summer online. I ultimately had to drop the class. She doesn't show you what you got incorrect on your tests and quizzes, so it is hard to know what you need to work on. Her quizzes are 20 questions and tests are 10. So if you get any questions incorrect, your grade suffers quick..
This is my first time writing a review for any professor, I just thought I would come on and do the public a service. Shes perhaps one of the worst professors I have come across. Hard to get through to, difficult to communicate with, inconsiderate and has no empathy. 10/10 would not recommend.
Terrible. Youre probably taking this course because it is the only one listed. Please do not take her.
This class is difficult. During the second exam, the class average was failing :/ If you miss a class, you will NOT do good on the exam. Sometimes she won't put up the notes she did in the actual class. She also does not even go over the exam. You HAVE to go to her office hours for that.
Teaches the class fast and doesn't give any extra credit. Read chapter before class bc she'll go over that chapter in class and go to the next one. Be prepared for the amount of reading you have to do outside of class to understand. Her class is more of a lecture, you take notes, and class is done. If you need help or questions, attend after hours.
I didn't have her for a lecture, but I did have her for a lab. She is not a bad Professor, but she is very strict on grading and not lenient. If you have the option to have Alghoul as your lab, take her instead since she lectures the course.
For the first 3 weeks, she cared about attendance then gave up. It is really hard to understand her ways of teaching because, she most of the times messes up, and its better to read the book and practice a lot of the worksheet (even the worksheet had mistakes in it). I'd say if don't show up to lecture but study outside of class you should be fine.
Not sure why she has such bad ratings, she was one of the best professors I had. Her class is easy as long as you attend lecture and take notes. She provides practice quizzes, exams and extra worksheets. They are optional but they're extremely helpful so I suggest doing them. She was always willing to help and easy to get in contact with.
She was OK. You miss a class and you'll fall behind so go to as many classes as possible. Her lectures were okay, sometimes she would mess up and not really answer the questions students asked but other times she explained it amazingly. Read your textbook and study and you'll be okay.
Dr. Fernando was great. I was in the lab and lecture of CHEM 1151 in fall 2020. She will match your effort. I got a lot out of the lectures and she was good at explaining the material in an understandable way. Great professor, the class can be challenging, but if you try and she see's that, she will work with you.
I don't know why she has bad ratings. I expected bad lectures from reading the ratings, but she is actually good. Very nice and lenient too. Sometimes funny. Provides a lot of practice problems. If you study and attend lectures, you'll be fine. Easy to talk to. Would definitely take her again.
If you show up to lectures, do her practice worksheets/exams (which are similar to her homework/ quizzes/ exams), & study outside of class, you will do well in her class. She responds to emails fairly quickly, makes herself accessible to students, and will accommodate you if you can't take a quiz for whatever reason.
Currently in her lab and so far I HATE it. I wish I could have taken someone else but couldn't as it conflicted with my schedule. HW worksheets are due every week at 5PM right after the lab, does not clearly state what's on the quizzes, and is constantly rushing us to finish experiments even when we have more than an hour left.
Dr.Fernando is an amazing professor for organic chemistry 1&2 , she gives you more than enough examples to help. She also is very available for office hours. Her exams do reflect her notes you just have to constantly study and you will do good.Tests are also majority of your grade but the whole chemistry department follows the same grading scale.
had her for lab, shes a good prof & explains stuff well, come prepared, it helps a lot and saves time. I would take her again BUT just know she can be a pain in the rectum. If she yells at u, just take it and move on cuz it is not worth the fight. stay on her good side ( even if that means u have to kiss up to her) and u will be fine.
Absolutely love Fernando, this lab is tough, but manageable. Go to her office hours, ask for help. She works hard with students when they show her they are doing the work. She is also very nice and rather enjoyable to be around. I really enjoyed having her has my professor and learned a lot from her!
She's understanding as she had us take quizzes home but definitely preferred students who kissed her up. Very condescending to those who weren't as I was one of those students and even had a TA tell me they were surprised I hadn't withdrawn. I recommend taking someone else but she is not the worst option either. definitely look into other profs
She is accessible during office hours. This is my second time taking her and I passed with A's both times. As long as you come to class and understand its going to be a breeze. However she is pretty bad with answering emails. She really does care about her students so as long as you explain your situation she will do what she can to pass you.
I took her both Organic 1 and Organic 2, and I couldn't be happier. She would post worksheets and practice tests online, and if you go through those worksheets and tests a few times and understand them clearly, then the tests will be a breeze. All in all, if you study enough outside of her class, you'll be fine in her class.
She talks down on students which makes it hard for us to want to ask questions. She either doesn't respond to emails or is unhelpful in her responses. Her lab quizzes are weekly and she expects you to memorize the extensive multi-step formulas for them. Sometimes she is accommodating but it feels like that's complete luck.
As much as I tried to like Dr. Fernando and get help from her, she is a very difficult person to work with. She's not too keen on giving extra help and comes off very cold and condescending when asked to work out problems or review the material again. She unfortunately made an already hard class more difficult, I do not recommend.
Unpleasant. Asked about what she expected as an answer from a quiz once (wording was off) and all she said was that we went over this in class. Would not give an extra second of time if she could on quizzes & exams. Had only 4 grading categories with 1 quiz drop. Handwrites all lecture notes and doesn't post them online. I learned from the textbook
Extremely condescending. Flat out told a student, "How come every time you are in this lab, you're doing something wrong." Quizzes are every week, and make sure you are on time for those quizzes because she will turn you away if you are a second late and will not give you a make-up quiz. Look for other professors. Save yourself the added stress.
She gives out quizzes no where and gives you no extra credit. She does not look like she cares but is quite nice. Gives homework and has at least 11 quizzes and 4 tests including the final and gives homework in pearson.
Please don't do it. Pick someone else for your well being find someone else to take.
She is a very good professor! She really suggested that you come to class a take notes; for her notes was very helpful. I personally love her teaching style, it seems as if she really knows how to make the material seem less complicated. She also was very adamant about studying the material after you received it and coming to her office hours!
Ridiculous 30 minute timed homework assignments with about 25-30 questions. Can not miss any classes as she does not post the notes online & gives random pop quizzes. Pop quizzes are difficult with usually only 5-10 questions all open response. Exams & quizzes in person & can not be made up. She is not good at explaining questions or concerns. 0/10
Those other reviews are lying lol. Take her class if you want to fail! She teaches the class as if you already know it. My class was scared to interact with her so whenever she would ask questions you could hear a pin drop & it was constant confusion. She does drop 1 HW & 1 exam Not really motivating at all. Very mechanism heavy
I wasn't sure about her at first, but after narrowing down the class to people who cared after drop, I liked her a lot better. She puts on a hard exterior to weed out those who aren't willing to work and rewards people that are. If you did poorly in Orgo I, obviously she is going to be hard to follow, but if you did well you should have no trouble.
She is a very good professor. She provided practice exams, worksheets, and notes that were very helpful to get good scores. She purely wants you to learn and is always willing to help you.
Orgo II was challenging, especially in the summer, but the professor had a fair approach to teaching. She provided exam reviews the day before and graded homework strictly, ensuring comprehension. The professor also offered an extra credit opportunity by adding a dropped exam grade to the final grade, motivating students to perform their best.
Fernando's class was fairly challenging; would not suggest taking her if you did not perform well in Orgo I. She is a bit of a tough grader, but she drops the lowest exam and HW. She wants to see her students succeed so as long as you are engaged with the content and take time to attend her office hours/review sessions, you are on the right track.
This professor is incredibly condescending multiple others have said the same thing! she expects students to be at her level which is unreasonable. Was always rushing me during lab making me feel bad for holding her + the TA's back but when i'd leave i'd see in the next room that students were still working on their labs.
DO NOT TAKE HER. She leaves information out and she's rude. I was trying to ask her a question and she blew past me like I was nothing. Take Harden instead.
it's hard to keep up with the lecture since she goes so fast. quizzes every week, and there's barely anything to study from(lab manual and notes u probably won't even understand) she's really condescending and rude and doesn't like explaining anything. it's like she expects u to already know everything from day 1. don't take her class. I beg u
I loved Dr. Fernando she has by far been the best lab teacher ever. She really explains the topics well and she makes sure everyone understands them. We asked one time for the quiz to be open book and she let us use our lab books for every quiz after except final. She gives study guide for final as well and takes her time to go over every question.
The professor lacks in-depth knowledge and struggles with clearing concepts, resulting in disorganized lectures and confusion. However, she does provide 1 exam and 1 quiz grade dropped, and a fair amount of extra credit.
wasnt very understanding nor did she show communication. Very rude and dismissive, avoid her if you can!
wasn't very understanding, very rude and dismissive. I would advise you to take anyone else but her. She doesn't respond to emails, and when she does, it's very abrasive and passive aggressive.
SHE IS VERY RUDE. SHE RUSHES YOU DURING LABS AND WHENEVER YOU MAKE A MISTAKE SHE GETS ANGRY. SHE EXPECTS YOU TO KNOW EVERYTHING AND NOT MESS UP, WHILST SHE MAKES YOU RUSH WHICH CAUSES YOU TO MESS UP
Dr. F puts on a rough exterior to weed out the people who aren't willing to work. If you attend class as much as you can and study, she is quite lenient with partial credit, reviewing before the exams, and curving at the end. The only thing I didn't love was that she doesn't draw out the skeletal structure of chemicals but writes out the carbons.
Professor Fernando's class was challenging, but she provided helpful resources like practice exams and worksheets. While strict, she wants students to succeed. Unstuckstudy was great for organic chemistry prep.
I had Fernando for Orgo I and II and absolutely loved her. She is very straightforward and doesn't distract us with useless information. She gives out one question every lecture to track attendance. As long as you write down everything she writes and study your notes, you will do well. Her exams practically mirror the notes.
Too strict, just save yourself the time and pressure. Don't take this class. Gives us three different directions and only one of them is right. Extremely strict grader. Goes too damn fast.
Understanding and practicing Professor Fernando's worksheets, tutorials, and practice exams are crucial to passing this course. If you have any questions, she will be there to clarify during office hours.
Super organized, helpful, informative and clear lectures. Just follow the lecture notes and make sure you know the reactions and the exams will be easy. She is super clear about what will be on the exam and what won't, so make sure to attend and pay attention. She is also very accessible in her office hours and will sit with you to help you.
Going to class is basically mandatory because she teaches and does examples in class that aren't posted anywhere. The class itself was challenging but going to class and watching youtube videos helped me maintain a high grade. The final was mechanism heavy! (horrible).
So she is not a bad professor I can say for the first three exams but for last exam stuff I feel like she rushed through it and did not teach it well but other than that she is not a bad professor. For you pass this class you actually have to pay attention and do practice problems. But in my opinion the class doesn't get bad until the end content.
Orgo is super hard already but the professor is okay. would recommend comar if you can! you have to go to tutorial and office hours to do amazing in the class but if you attend all the lectures you'll be fine.
UGH, try someone else but I guess GSU can only afford two orgo prof. She's very strict and will act like a strict mom to u. She wants u to go office hours and does not answer basic simple questions through email or verbally, she thinks u only have her one class in the semester and u will be able to attend all office hours. she's very tough, ughhhhh
the class itself is hard but she's a good teacher. as long as you are engaged and pay attention you should do fine! she gives worksheets and the answers so there's a lot of practice outside of class.
The best orgo teacher to take
Just make sure to attend her class and take notes. She is an amazing professor and does her best for our success. She provides tutorials and office hours and basically gives out the answers to her exam questions in class so just pay attention.
The class was extremely difficult and she filed a notice of academic dishonesty against me for my notebook which was done accurately with the signatures I received originally, I just moved them over so that my new notebook was neater. Very harsh teacher and condescending.
