horrible professor, unclear, talks to students like they're all stupid. can't explain anything, gives random pop quizzes on things she barely even covers.
1st day of class she lectured & I took notes but didnt understand cuz she was going so fast.I went home, read the chapter, I understood much better.Next day she didnt review, she went onto another topic. She asks "whats the answer class" but the whole class is lost. She gets mad & still doesn't explain well.10min til class ends & she gives a quiz!!
She's an amazing professor, although she does get mad sometimes. She's very funny if you listen to her. Although sometimes you may do bad in tests, you can always raise it up and sometimes she tells you when your answer is wrong. So just make sure she knows your there to do work and she will help you out
It can be difficult to understand her at times. she wants everything in a certain way but she gives good notes. gives random quizzes but we are allowed to use our notes and the book. the class is easy if you pay close attention and know what your doing
She's awesome! Best teacher I ever had. Doing the homework on time made all the difference for me.
This professor is just plain lost. the rating on 4/8/10 is also lost nothing describes that professor now im a engineer manager so i need math, but this professor is boring, doesnt help students and everyone is afried to say something cause when ur wrong she looks at u like if ur dumb. Dont not take her!!
"DR" Nielsen was one of the worst teachers i have ever had. She may have her phd but surely she has no people skills. She is mean, rude and makes you feel stupid if you answer a question wrong. She was not very helpful and her favorite thing to say was "you should have learned this in your last class!" more than 50% of the class dropped her.
worst and hardest professor i ever had. everytime someone gives a wrong answer, she'll look at you with a dumbface. if you want to pass and understand MATH 125, i do not recommend her.
let me put it this way, the class went from 40 students to 10 students. she is possibily the worst teacher i have ever had. she should be fired.
This teacher is the WORST teacher i have ever had. She has no tact whatsoever and refuses to change her terrible teaching habits. I am extremely surprised that she still holds a teaching position at Elac.I am extremely dedicated to my studies and found it almost impossible to learn w her. Don't waste your time, energy, or money.
Great class. Teacher's explanations are very clear.
This teacher is one of the best teachers I ever had. Makes everything very clear and easy to understand. I was never good at Math but now I am really doing well thanks to this class.
Crystal clear explanations. Will try to get this teacher in my next math class.
Worked hard. Earned my A. No complaints here.
Her voice is not clear, very hard to hear her. Even though class context is OK, her way of speaking makes you feel bored. Her tests are not hard. Not recommended at all.
HORRIBLE TEACHER, CAN'T UNDERSTAND A WORD SHE SAYS. SHE GETS MAD IF WE ASK A QUESTION. DOES NOT HELP AT ALL. NEVER AVAILABLE FOR OFFICE HOURS AND CAN'T EVEN SPEAK ENGLISH CORRECTLY. THIS PERSON SHOULD BE REMOVED SO THAT FUTURE STUDENTS WILL NOT SUFFER.
she should be removed. She makes the students feel stupid when they ask a question. It seems she is just teaching because she does not have much choice in a job. She should not be putting students down. Its not right and somebody should do somehting about this before future students are also victims of this horrible excuse of a waste of time.
BY FAR, THEE WORST TEACHER AT ELAC! NO TACTIC WHEN IT COMES TO TEACHING. DOESNT EXPLAIN HERSELF, BORING, THINKS SHES FUNNY, EXPECTS YOU TO KNOW THE MATERIAL BEFORE SHE HAS TAUGHT IT..FYI: IF YOU HAVE STRUGGLED WITH MATH IN THE PAST..DO NOT TAKE HER!.. ITS USELESS AND A WASTE OF TIME!
Im sorry but this teacher is by far the worse I haved ever had,she is trying her best at explaining but she needs to realize that we are not gonna know the material before she says it, she will make a dumb face when you give out the wrong answer, she makes her Trig test really long and chooses only the word problems. You will fail her class!!
Tests are very easy..but it is a self taught class.Be prepared to spend a lot of time outside of class to understand the concepts on you own.
I stopped going to school because of her..im serious.
Seriously, she is the worst professor ever. she is mean, i remembered when the student try to add the class, but all she said was "NO" she didn't add even one. i doubt if she speaks english. she didn't explain well, lucky i was able to add another M125 class and got A. if i didn't, i might end up get C or fail. Don't take her class or you'll regret
WORST PROFESSOR IN THE WORLD!!!!!!
Attendence mandatory- for she gives out quizzes randomly. we had 3 quizzes during the 1st week of class. She has a accent (pretty irritating since she mumbles alot) Hw (less than 15Q. a section), For those interested in taking 5 week stats..TAKE SOMEONE ELSE. Fast pace, and she moves very quickly . 1 Chapter a Day.. (12 chapters all together)
10%hw,10%quizzes,3tests each 20%,&final(culmative, chatpers1-12)20%of your grade.Even though this requires basic algebra, she expects you to be flexible with solving equations and analyzing the word problems (mostimportant about stats). She assumes that the class is competent enough, when we dont..(-_-)i mean,Thats why were taking this class right!?
She should be fire!!! One of the worst professors that I have never met.
she need to keep up with her self she always wear the same thing to class she not very clear on what she is teaching she like to make all the problems harder and well she grades really weird DON'T TAKE THE CLASS CHANGE HER
Horrible professor. she knows the material she is teaching very well (brags about her Doctorate) but expects everyone to know it as well as she does. I'd rather learn from the book with her so if you can manage that take her, if not RUN.!
She is a very good professor. Her tests are easy.sometimes students can take quiz home if she think it's a little bit hard for student to do. She is also helpful. She will show the procedure step by step if you her on her office hour.
She is an amazing professor. she teachs very well and can explain problems cearly. highly recommend this professor.
She is extremely knowledgeable about Math, her lectures are quick, and her tests are taken directly from previous material she's covered. You really have to practice the math problems in the HW to get an A - she does not "hand out" grades. Overall pretty good class and professor.
this so-called "professor" needs to be removed.
Ms. Nielsen is by far the worst professor at ELAC I have now completed over 70 units here and until I met her thought ELAC was pretty good, but Ms. Nielsen is horrible put it this way my stats class started with 50 students ande ended with 13. Of those 13 about 3 understood her. Unless you would like to teach yourself avoid her.
Whatever you do dont take her class, if youre good at math her class makes you feel like your dumb. Her notes have nothing to do with the book. She makes the material harder and confusing when its not and not a fair grader.
Has a particular way of grading - sometimes lenient, mostly stingy. Tests are pretty difficult. She would be good for Math majors because she expects excellent trigonometry and algebra knowledge. She knows the subject really well, as expected. She teaches everything but the tests don't reflect them well. There were very few who could follow her.
I took this professor over the summer while doing research and dealing with a crazy gf, it was not pretty. I had to literally read the book in the lab every day after class, section after section and example after example, bucause her teacher was horrible. I managed to get a B but no thanks to her, IF YOU SEE HER NAME RUN THE OTHER WAY, TRUST ME!
Im a math major and adore it, but my god did she made me loathe it on certain days. Don't get me wrong, she is good at it but she is horrible at teaching it. Many of the students didn't understood her and there was a lot of silence. She would get frustrated when people couldn't get the answer. Overall, it was a bad experience. Audit her like I did
She actually is ok; very smart. She teaches directly from the book, which is pretty nice. Her grading of tests are inconsistent. Sometimes ok, sometimes gives you totally nothing. Looking back, I kinda like the way she teaches. Definitely not for everyone. If you want an "easy" math teacher, don't take her. Otherwise, challenge yourself.lol
quizes and tests are easy. but need to learn on your own. too much homework.
helpful!!!
She is the worst professor I have ever had. She would assumed you know everything, and she talks very fast without explaining what is she doing. However, she is very knowledgable in the course, the only problem is that she does not know how to teach! If you take her, prepare to spend A LOT A LOT of time self-studying!
Math 261. 4 tests(8 quizzes were exactly from homework and tests were similar to practice problems that was given before each test);they're rather easy if you're good at math. However, to understand lesson, I've to learn by myself since her accent is too hard for me to understand. She's very kind give us to redo the 1st test with the same problems.
HORRIBLE! Gets upset and rolls her eyes if you don't know the answer. Doesn't really explain how she even got the answer. Doesn't even check if you did the homework correctly. Oh and she wore the same 2 pairs of jeans, 1 sweater, & 1 blouse the entire semester, pretty nasty.
She was very hard, so if you are a busy person who does not have the time to learn and study the material by yourself, get another teacher! She does try to help, but is very unclear and sometimes just stares into space expecting you to solve problems.
She put everything that you have ever learned Math. together and make it complex to test you. more than 60% student drop. Not a easy C. She is serious, come/left on time but not help at all.
this teacher was terrible. I took her in the summer and half the class dropped because her lectures were not clear. She assumes you know the stuff and laughs when you don't. Her tests are not bad only if you read the book, looked up youtube videos, and went to tutoring. I do not recomend this teacher.
She's actually really good and her examples are way easier than the text book. But her accent kinda confuses you a little bit specially if you don't read along the book. She always gives you a pre test that is a PLUS! because the test are similar to the examples. She does not give extra credit but she's a really fair grader. Take her-
She is very hard to understand. Skips many steps!!! If your not good at math this is definitely not the class for you.Self taught class. I ended up dropping to prevent my 4.0 from going down.,
Nielson is a challenging teacher but if you do the homework and get a tutor you will have no problems passing the class. She gives you a practice sheet to help you study for the tests and lets you use your note on quizzes. The tests are tricky and will challenge you. She sometimes skips steps and breezes through lectures. Study and you will pass.
From a person who loves math, not only is it difficult to understand her, I just couldn't understand her symbols and method of teaching. She assigns a lot of homework without asking if we had any questions regarding it. She zooms through each chapeter quickly. Unless you are a math wizard, I wouldn't recommend taking her.
She is a very good instructor, people dont do good in her class because they obviously dont paynattention and study. She explains well and asks before continuing if u have any questions, people dont speak up so she moves on. She doesnt like people talking while in class or use of phones which is understandable. Her test are super easy!!!
She expects students to know the material. She is knowledgeable but cant teach. She has a very low voice, that combined with her accent make it very difficult. She does not have any motivation when "teaching" . She does not teach but rather works out problems and expects students to follow along.
She obviously knows the material but simply can not convey it in a way that is easy to understand. She just assumes you know what you're doing and her presence in front of class is underwhelming. Very easy to get lost in lecture. DO NOT TAKE.
Yes it is hard to understand her, but before she moves on to the next Ch. she asks if people have questions. She gives easy test, and even lets you use your notes on quizzes. She hates people using phones during class or coming late, because they interrupt students like me who want to actually listen to her lectures. she will go over HW if you ask.
Very bland and boring, but gets point across clearly and very helpful when you ask a question. She isn't hard, but isn't very easy either. She's average, I would recommend her, once she stops the eye rolling and the frustration towards students.
Regret taking this class. She's awful, unclear, and not very organized. Currently taking 5.8 notes when we're about to get tested on 5.1-5.6. It's like she's trying to confuse us.
DON'T TAKE! REPEAT :DON'T TAKE! Nielsen is not a good teacher at all. Her explanations are confusing, she seems disinterested, and her grading is just weird. If you want to pass with anything better than a C then don't bother to take her.
Tough professor! She gives way too many notes which half the time you won't understand. Her test are not related to the notes, and she isn't clear enough with lectures.
Calculus 1 (261) Her exams are really tough and the study guide has a lot of problems (60 problems). Most of the class drops out before the semester is ending. She lectures on a chapter then in the middle she asks us to solve it without really showing us examples, WHAT KIND OF TEACHING IS THAT? the amount of homework is also crazy
A good teacher is supposed to be the one that cares for all of their students to learn and tries to explain once in a while when more than half of the class isn't catching up to a fast lecturenot rush through everything confusing everyone
she is very confusing, however, if u do the homework and get help from tutors, you cannpass the class. If you dont understand then ASK her to solve another similar problem and explain. If you don't ask, she assumes that you understand. She is there to help. I passed with a B. Just ask to meet up with her during office hours. The help is there.
She does have an accent but it's understandable. Math CAN be difficult for some people but she doesn't make it hard at all. She will help you if you ask her during office hours or after class. Even during class, just don't hesitate or feel embarrassed to admit you're having difficultly understanding something. To me, she's a caring math professor.
I really dont know what's wrong with all the previous reviews. Nielsen is awesome!! She can seem intimidating when she asks class for answers but shes chill. Her lectures are great in that she proves things in a way that makes it clear and simple. Be thankful youre not paying UC price for a UC quality proff. Up to YOU to see if you can handle it.
Shes very willing to help you understand. Don't mistake being intimidated by her as much as you might be by the subject. She's mindful of her tone and that makes it easy to ask questions, just don't be shy! Shes a bit fast paced, but take advantage of her office hours. Apart from a thorough explanation, you'll see that she's an awesome person.
She is easy to understand and very kind.
She is an easy going chill professor. Provides a review before each test which is very similar to the test. If you attend the review, the test should be a piece of cake. One of the best teachers I ever had. I highly recommend her class.
I really enjoyed her class. Very approachable and patient when you ask questions.
Tests are similar to what is covered in lecture.
Learned a lot from her class. Explains everything very clearly.
Explains everything very clearly. Tests are similar to the review. Patient when you ask questions.
Learned a lot from this class which was very useful in the advanced math classes.
She takes attendance at the end of class so people would arrive half an hour late and she would still mark them present. She talks to the board half the time. The other half, she assigns problems and stares at the ceiling (lol). Solves them and moves on to the next section. No partial credit on tests, doesn't bother to mark the step you did wrong.
She's great i don't know why people complain about her, of course there's lots of homework it's a 5 unit class. Oh and if you have questions raise your hand don't just sit there looking stupid. Thanks professor Nielsen.
Explanations are crystal clear. Makes math easy. Also really kind and patient when you ask questions. Highly recommend this class.
I like the way she explains the material.
Provides study guides which are very similar to the tests which I found to be very helpful.
Provides clear explanations and she also gives some homework problems as examples as part of the lesson. I think this is her first time teaching geometry during winter session, and it went well for me. I would have gotten an A but careless mistakes from me brought some test scores little more down than usual, but it's okay for me.
Worst professor ive ever had
Shes a very nice professor, she assigns homework based on the section of the day she teaches it. Shes fast but shell constantly ask if everyones understanding. She also lets you take a few tests home to make corrections after it gets graded that way you get a better grade if you dont do well.
Easy to understand and kind.
I took her for Calc 1 and 2. If you're trying to add the class she will let you as long as you did the prerequisites. Every test is based of lecture and review sheet she provides. The quizzes are open book and she gives you partial credit on questions you got wrong on the test and quiz. HW are due the day of the exam which is every 2 weeks or so.
Showed up to every class, took all the notes and still had difficulty understanding her teaching method ie. talking to the board, ignoring questions, skipping steps and not responding emails or office hours "refer to the book" "you should remember this from 115".
I wouldn't recommend her if you really really struggle with math because she expects you to know everything. Test at the end of every chapter, homework is due on test date, homework is super easy every other odd number so you basically do every 4 problems. She takes attendance at the end of every class so you can show up 5 mins before class ends
Shes an okay professor, she's a little awkward. I wouldn't really say she cares for her sudents but she is willing to help she does ask if anyone needs help, She takes attendance everyday at the end and you should show up 20 minutes before and she'll still give you credit. Stares at the ceiling alot!
i took her for math125 because i needed to retake it. she wasnt very helpful when it came to explaining where i could understand. tests are short but she grades hard. first 2 tests i took i got a C and other a D so i just dropped the class.
Took her for Calc 1 bc of all the previous reviews of her calc classes were good. The material covered in class did not relate with the homework assigned. Used really bad examples during lecture that makes it hard to understand what she's teaching. There's no point in using her study guide because she will throw in other topics that weren't on it.
Terrible professor. Her study guides were useless. Material covered in class was not relevant to homework. Don't take her.
Took her for cal 1 after reading reviews on here and thought I'd be fine. If you struggled a bit in trigonometry and precalculus, then find a better professor because you will fail. Lectures aren't like the homework, the book that was used was open sourced and fortunately, had an answer key to it. Tests are hard and so are quizzes.
Easy to understand and is very helpful. Tests are similar to the reviews.
Enjoyed taking this math class.
Took both calculus 1 and 2 with her since I really like her teaching style. Very caring also and answers all questions with a lot of detail.
Even though math can be difficult this class was easy and fun.
She is great at explaining math concepts in a simple way that is easy to understand. Very patient and caring towards the students.
She is an awesome, caring professor. I became a math major after taking her class.
Makes math simple and easy to understand and caring.
Dr. Nielsen holds a doctorate's degree in statistics and has an amazing teaching style that is organized and takes her time translating the textbook into layman's terms for students. This is especially helpful for people like myself that are absolutely horrible at math. She assigns homework and makes sure you understand the material
If you're going to be starting Calculus, don't take her at all. She may be nice, but she's not passionate as a professor. She will give you lectures that are really useless for your homework and tests. You're better off self-studying. She doesn't elaborate as she answers questions which makes it so difficult to learn Calculus.
Her lectures are very organized and easy to understand. Tests are similar to the homework and the study guide.
I have taken two classes with her and her teaching style is ver impressive. Makes the concepts very clear by doing a lot of guided examples. Provides study guides to tests with detailed solutions also. I highly recommend this professor.
I took both pre-statistics and statistics with her. She really cares about her students and is very helpful. Statistics can be difficult with a lot of material but she makes it simple and easy to follow.
Very nice professor! Uses very clear examples to explain difficult math concepts. I have taken several classes with her and I really like her teaching style. Even though math is difficult for me this professor makes it easy.
I took her for both algebra and statistics. She is very helpful and answers all your questions and try to make everything clear before moving on to a new topic. She gives practice tests with solutions which can very helpful when preparing for the exams.
She is very kind and caring towards the class. She helped me a lot when I was taking Calculus with her and is really good at explaining difficult concepts by making them easy to understand. I enjoyed her class a lot.
She is very nice and kind to all. I recommend taking her. The homework prepares you for the tests. Plus she gives practice tests to prepare for the actual test.
I did very well in her class. She gives awesome lectures. She shows all the steps to solving problems clearly which was very helpful when studying for tests.
She genuinely cares about students. Her lectures are clear and she reviews the material in detail to make sure everyone understands. The homework is really easy although sometimes there's a lot. Exams are very similar to all of the practice tests so it's easy to pass with an A. Definitely would take again!
This was my first time taking a math course in ELAC, and she helped me a lot. She reviews the practice tests before the actual test, which is really helpful.
I took Math 125 with her and she is great. Explains the material in great detail with lots of examples. She writes everything step by step so it is easy for me to follow the process. Asks a lot of questions to make sure everyone understands the material. You can use a calculator for the tests and quizzes. I highly recommend her.
She explains difficult concepts of mathematics very clearly and makes things simple. I really enjoyed taking her class. She also encourages us to work in groups which I also liked. Her lectures are very well organized and easy to follow.
I took both math 115 and math 125 with her because I really like her teaching style. She is very patient and caring. When you ask questions she goes over the whole problem step by step again and is very encouraging.
Lectures are really easy to understand. She is very kind and understanding towards the class. Gives study guides for each test, which are very helpful when studying for tests. Definitely would take her class again.
She is very nice and very detailed in her explanations. Provides a step by step method to solving math problems. Her technique is great and encouraging. I highly recommend taking her class.
I took her class in the winter and she is amazing, Her explanations are great and answers every question before moving on to a new topic. She is very easy to talk to.
I took her Intermediate Algebra class and Statistics class. She explains difficult math concepts very clearly. Her teaching style is great and cares about her students very much.
Very encouraging towards the students and always helpful when you ask questions. I really like her teaching technique, where easy to understand detailed notes are provided along with study guides for tests.
I have taken several math classes from her and I highly recommend her. She makes math interesting and fun to learn. She is also very kind hearted and caring. Provides a lot of examples so that it is easy to learn the concepts.
Dr. Nielsen is very understanding and caring towards her students. I enjoyed taking her class because her teaching technique made math easy for me. It is very detailed and well organized. I became a science major after taking several of her classes.
The tests are similar to the practice tests and they helped me a lot in terms of understanding the concepts also. Definitely recommend her class.
Took math 125 with her and it was very enjoyable. She is kind to everyone. If you listen to her carefully you will find that she is funny too. Study guides were very helpful in terms of doing well in the class.
She is just great. She gave no homework just quizzes and tests but super easy all in the notes she provides and so fun
She really cares about her students learning and is always available if you need help. Definitely a yes to taking her class.
Professor Nielsen only grades quizzes and test. Gives homework as practice but not graded. you'll be taking lots of notes, but gives good examples. In order to pas the class study a lot before ever quiz and test.
I took this Prof for math227S and honestly the best. she does grade only quizzes and testes but gives lots of practice problems based on what's going to be on the exam. all exams are based on the lectures!! homework is not required but can help. amazing Prof 10/10 recommend.
So Professor Nielsen is a nice person, but it was hard for me to understand her lecturing. Another thing that she kept telling the entire class was that the notes were on the modules, but when going on the modules, the notes were utterly different from what she showed us in class, which upset many people. So please attend class.
Easy A. Very nice teacher. She has office hours which I attended most of them. Would constantly ask if there were any questions. Which is great because I'd ask many Questions during her class and overall a very great professor I do plan on taking her again for further math classes. She also has a PhD in what she teaches as well which is inspiring.
I was hesitant at first cause hw is not graded and grades are based only on quizzes and tests. Professor Nielson at times writes too quickly but as long as you pay attention to the class and the practice problems, you'll pass. There was only one extra credit, but she does give an extra 30 mins or so for tests and final, which she didn't have to do.
intermed algebra. pacing of the lectures was good for me, but if you struggle with math a lot, you will need to go over your notes and study a little more than the lectures. no homework, which is great, but studying for the quizzes/tests is needed towards the middle when you get into harder concepts. Pay attention and do notes and you'll get an A.
lots of coping notes and very difficult to understand. she was not very clear in her lectures.
Very easy to follow lectures.
I took Math 227 with her. Very clear lectures and the practice tests are very helpful.
In-person quizzes & tests only matter. DON'T take if bad with timed math. Open-note quizzes & 1 cheatsheet for tests & cumulative final. NO MAKEUPS. Lecture is just copying already posted notes on Canvas. Fast pace. Accent, follow along on Canvas. No hw. Recommend The Organic Chemistry Tutor on youtube as help. I barely passed (I'm eh at math).
She is very understanding and helpful. Make me like math again.
Don't even try to figure out your grade her grading method is still a mystery to me despite taking her for 2 classes. Her tests are extremely hard and we only get a 1hr despite it deserving more time. She goes in-depth into the material so you will be better at it than others who are taking Calc 2.
Exams are very similar to the study guides. She is very kind and answers all your questions. Makes sure everyone understands the material.
Very clear lectures and notes. Tests are similar to study guides.
She is very helpful and understanding. Gives extra time on tests and quizzes.
Horrible! She talks to people like they're below her. Very rude and doesn't look like she wants to be here. Quiz on every chapter and tests on 2 or more chapters combined. We can be copying chapter 8 notes while she assigns a quiz for chapter 6. You won't know your grade till the end, she never posts them. Save yourself and take another professor.
Very kind and helpful. Explains the material in detail and provides study guides. Tests are very similar to the study guides. This class made me like math.
Very kind and helpful. Tests are similar to the study guides.
Lectures are easy to follow because she explains everything and reviews the material. Very understanding and kind. I enjoyed this class.
If your math fundamentals are strong, you shouldn't worry too much. Be humble, polite, respectful, and show interest in the subject. Even though you may be weak at math, if you are hardworking enough for the professor to notice, you will be rewarded. she will allow you ask questions on her lecture with her note.
Nilupa makes the material easy to understand. Tests are similar to study guides, and she's happy to answer questions. Definitely use Unstuckstudy along with the free textbook to ace this class.
Exams are worth 60% of your grade. 3 major exams but will replace the lowest score with the final exam (which is cumulative). So fail two exams and you're done for, but will give you a study guide. There is a lot of homework that requires a textbook.
The notes are very clear and easy to understand. The study guides provided are very helpful for the tests.
Lectures are easy to understand and the notes are in the modules.
worst math prof. i've taken. she gave EC on the first two quizzes & exams, but the final counts more lots of hw q. After every chapter study guides aren't much help. (she didn't give one for the final) she doesn't explain concepts well, and her body covers the board so you won't see what she's writing, goes over topics very fast.
She gives a lot of extra credit to compensate those who did bad on quiz or tests. Do be aware that her test and quizzes are HARD. She kind of goes over the chapter quickly so a lot of the time I have to re-read the notes posted online a lot to kind of understand them. If you take her, be ready because it's fast-paced and test are hard.
Answers questions in a way that is easy to understand. Very helpful.
Provides a lot of resources including notes and study guides. The tests are very similar to what is covered in the notes. Makes math easy to understand.
Don't take her course. Forever! Trust me! You will regret taking her course. Her tests are very hard and there are so many questions. And each question gives you very difficult numbers to calculate. I don't believe anyone can get a high score on her tests even though she gives you extra credit.(Hellish difficulty)
Gives lots of extra time for tests and quizzes
She is a good professor, but definitely not for everyone. Although trig is not a prereq, it is definitely necessary here. I advise doing homework early even if it's not due till test day. She gave study guides for every test other than the final. You can retake the tests at home as extra credit and you are allowed a cheat sheet on test day.
Learned a lot from this class
Didn't even take her class cause you could barely even hear her talking, she has a really low soft voice it's kinda inaudible even for deaf people. (Ok im sorry that was a bad joke reference)
An amazing professor
She is super understanding, and the tests are simple. There are fewer than 10 questions on the exams (There are 4 exams in total). She gives study guides and is always there to help you. She also lets you have a cheat sheet. I recommend her class so much. I learned alot.
