This dude is godlike. Easily one of the best professors in the econ department. heck, he's one of the best professors at the university. Has a near encyclopedic knowledge on everything with regards to real estate and investments. Very technical in teaching material, but if you follow along closely, you'll pass. He drops the lowest test score.

3 exams, one homework, drops the lowest exam score. Since you are graded on 3 things you better do well in them. He is extremely knowledgeable, and his lactated and material is pretty high level. It can be difficult but if you research on your own and study you will do well.

He is an amazing professor. He knows the subject well and really tries to explain it to the class. There are three midterms, a final, and 1 HW. There is a lot of information but you come out of the class knowing new in-depth knowledge. Take the class to gain a better understanding of the field.

Real world relevant material. My first job out of school reflected his projects closely.

Didn't like how this professor taught this semester. Our grade was solely based on exams and very little extra credit, not even anything to practice on for these exams either. It is literally just lecture and exams. Nice professor, but his teaching for Spring 2024 could've been better. We didn't even have a Canvas page.

Great Professor - Gives real world examples. Midterms were easy to do and he lets you know exactly what is required. No homework is given, no pop quizzes, and no participation points given. Very straightforward professor.

He's very knowledgeable and uses lots of real-world examples. Attending class & taking notes is extremely important since he usually writes on the board the whole time, hardly any slides. No homework, no study guides, just three midterms composed of 5 FRQ questions + a non-cumulative final (just like the midterms). Be sure to know the concepts.

Presents complex topics in an easy-to-understand format. 100% of the grade is from tests and midterms. He is very clear about his expectations, and will explain anything you have trouble understanding. It is easy to get an A in his class if you ask questions and seek feedback. Otherwise it is easy to fail.

He teaches in a way that actually sticks with you — it's not just facts and dates but real-life connections and meaningful discussions. You can tell he cares about his students and wants us to succeed, not just academically but personally, too.

Great prof. Hard to get a hold of outside of class. Drops lowest midterm grade. Three in person midterms, one in person final. All closed notes. He's pretty chill though. Talks about his properties that he owns and uses them as examples. Goes off track a lot, which confused me. Attendance was not mandatory. Pay attention! He lectures super quickly!
