She really wants her students to do well and helps them every chance she gets. Chemistry is hard. There is a written report and presentation.

I agree, she does not favor the guys. I do think that she is a good teacher compared to some of Sierra's other LIBERAL teachers. Definite over-load of work. She is not easy, but you will leave her class knowing a great amount more than when you came. Her class is hard, but worth it esp. at a J.C.

She is very helpful. When you ask her a question, she will try to get you to come up with the answer so you will learn. She is the best Chemistry teacher. She is very knowledgeable. I wouldnt want anyone else. Everytime I had a question she answered it. She is more than fair!She explains everything

she is very nice. and i agree a man hater. but you do learn a lot from her. there is way too much homework in this class, but prepares you well for the tests.

Nini is hands-down the best teacher I've ever had. Helpful, approachable, compassionate, knowledgeable & organized. I always knew what was expected & she tells you exactly what is on the tests. She wants everyone to succeed and goes out of her way to make it happen. It's BS that she's a man hater-it's insulting & I've never seen any evidence of it

Nini is an excellent teacher and goes out of her way to help you understand things. I don't know why everyone is saying that she won't answer questions. I asked questions all the time and she was always VERY helpful and explained the concept until I understood it. She keeps class fun and is the best teacher I've ever had!U people R WAY too critical

Nini was a great teacher! I agree with the last post about everyone being too critical... She was very clear about what we needed to know. She even post sample exams in the library and the questions on those are almost identical to the ones on her tests. She even gave us a take home exam for the last test! I would highly recommend her for chem 2A/B

I really liked Nini and this class. It was very hard but very interesting and fun. Nini makes it exciting to learn and teaches in different styles so everyone can. She is very willing to accomidate her students and wants to help them succeed. My only suggestion-DON'T take this class as a learning community w/Nut.12 with Curtis it's a waste of time!

Its funny with nini, you either loved her or you hated her. Personally, i love chemistry and was with her all the way through organic chem. I loved her and learned a lot

Well, she is a great person if you looking a personality, but her teaching style is really bad. She teaching a lot of things that useless and stick to them. She really needs to look for another style. But as a person she is gooood.

Very hard class but she used alot of methods that helped me retain the information. I didn't read out of text book and got a B. Very nice woman and understanding but strict. Knows her stuff!! A little disorganized with assigning homework, but I still enjoyed her class.

Huge workload, exams are from 3 parts for 3 hours, additional questions for lab. Clear explanations, though, a lot of worksheets, which help. Was studying all my free time,got an A(the only in class), believe me, it was very hard. Great person, very intelligent. Very high expectations for the research project, had to go to writing center 2 times.

Nini is great. She does assign homework that was not taught, but she just has to be reminded as she is very busy and she will honor it. 2A was easy, had a lot of homework, but it was easy and the tests were not difficult as long as you are good at unit analysis. Make sure you're good in math.

Though I know many people would disagree with me on my rating and comment buy, Professor Cardoza was an amazing instructor. I am not a chemistry type of person but she made me like the topic - she was really approachable and helpful. It is a hard class but extremely doable, just read and do the homework THEY DO HELP!

Chemistry is a tough subject and can't be spoon fed to students. It's up to you to take the time to study and stay organized. I thought Nini was a great teacher in lecture and lab. If you use the advice and tricks she gives, you'll do great. I would absolutely recommend Nini.

If you attend class, do your homework, and study for the tests you will do fine in Chem! Cardoza has set up the class so students that work hard receive the good grades they deserve. The class has a ton of basic math but she is more than willing to check your work before you turn it in. She wants you to succeed and will help you get there!

GREAT CLASS, NINI CARES ABOUT HER STUDENTS. Read the chapter and do the practice problems BEFORE lecture, and review the info ASAP and you will be fine. If you slack and dont work (there is a lot of work) then your grade will reflact it. again= grat class

Nini is a great teacher! She is super sweet and very helpful. She gives a lot of homework which I liked because it helped me study. If you don't like homework don't take her class. Read the text and look over the slides BEFORE lecture and do all the homework and extra credit homework and you'll get an A! I loved the class! :)

Nini is honestly the sweetest woman ever. This class is by no means easy, but if you are expecting an easy organic/biochem class you will not succeed with any teacher. She is difficult and you are expected to do your studying and work outside of class. She is a wonderful teacher and if you work hard you can absolutely get an A

Nini is a great lady. She cares a lot about the feedback she receives, and is constantly changing how she teaches. Because of this, her lectures are disorganized. Her class is difficult and is a great transition from easy junior college professors to a four year environment. I banked on extra credit homework and labs. 16 people in my class got A's

Nini gets a lot of criticism, but I thought she was a great teacher. Yes she makes you work for it, but that is her job. If you do not understand something, just ask, as she will explain help you through it. Chemistry was one of the hardest classes I have taken, but I worked my butt off and finished with an A.

Tough class but had to take it. I'm not a big math person but professor Cardoza made it understandable. I've even recommended my best friend to switch schools just so he can have her for an instructor.

Nini is super sweet and kind. She is always happy to help clarify anything if you go to her office hours. Take the 2Y class, it will help A LOT!! People get discouraged because you have to work for it, but this is college. Work hard, have fun, study, and you will pass with an A.

I loved this class! I was scared to take it at first but Nini was great and very helpful during office hours and Chem 2Y. Nini is a hard worker and she is very passionate about science! The class was challenging so I recommend reading the text book and taking Chem 2Y.

Great professor! All these negative reviews don't take into account that Chemistry IS A HARD CLASS. Nini is super sweet and caring and will give you tons of chances to ask for help if needed. Take 2X, read ahead in the textbook and always make sure you understand the material before moving on. It's possible to get an A!

Nini was an amazing chemistry teacher. I never took a lick of chemistry until college, and I got an A in her class. I recommend signing up for Chem 2x. It helped. Nini was also extremely clear, great teaching style and always available to help. I would recommend this class to anyone who is willing to work for it, but it's extremely manageable.

This course is not an easy A. However, it is doable! If you keep up with the lectures and do all the hw you should be in good shape! Nini offers plenty of practice before the exam and is available for any questions so do not be scared to ask!

This is a tough class. Attend class, do the homework, take Chem 2x, and if you need it go to tutoring. If you are willing to study and work hard you can get a good grade. Nini wants all her students to do well, and is happy to help you if you ask.

Nini is such a sweetheart. I am so glad I had her as a teacher, she was always so helpful. Chemistry is hard and she is willing to go the extra mile to help her students who are willing to put in the work. She gives you everything you need to succeed, just do your homework, study hard, & ask questions. These bad reviews are fake news 100%.
