One of my best professors I have had at UTD! He uses many real world examples in class to understand the material. The class itself is very challenging, but professor Yehuda does a great job of making the material crystal clear to understand.. He cares about his students and really wants them to succeed.

This professor is AMAZING! He gave plenty of examples to work out and explained the concepts clearly.

This professor is good and clear, knows the material very well. However, this is a difficult class so it really all comes down to you. He gives a review which translates to the exams pretty closely with some extra trick steps thrown in there, please advise. How well you do in this class really comes down to how well you prepare for the 2 exams.

Great professor, does his best to help his students. My main problem with the class is that your grade is almost completely depending on 2 exams. Basically, if you don't do well on one, you're basically screwed. Also, the second exam is a cumulative final.

I just wish there were 3 exams because you pretty much have to pass both exams in order to pass the whole class. Accounting is hard, but as he said you have to practice, practice, practice to pass. :)

Uploads chapter notes online! Makes accounting seem very fun and comprehend-able and not seem like a foreign language. Small participation grade, 2 assignments and 2 exams- you have to prepare for exams beforehand in order to succeed. Big part of your grade. Overall, great professor.

Just took this class for SP16 for the 3rd time and honestly if i would have taken this professor i would of passed the first time. The subject is difficult because there is so much material. Study and you will do good. I procrastinated and ended up doing all nighters before the exams. 2 exams. Midterm & Final. Two homework assignments. Attend SI!

Really good at explaining difficult concepts. I think his lectures make the material very clear and easy to follow. He gives plenty of partial credit in exams. If you have a basic understanding of accounting you will excel the class!

There are two exams, but having taken the class before I can tell you that he is very fair and doesn't try to trick you. If you cover his notes and the review questions, you will do very well.

The most helpful professor I have ever met. He really cares about his student. Intermediate Accounting I is a difficult class, but he goes out of his way to make sure everyone understands everything. He will explain things again and again until everyone gets it. Overall his class is one of the most pleasant experiences I had in UTD!!

Good teacher. Material requires you to do a little bit of studying by yourself otherwise you're going to think its hard. He explains material really well, theres just a lot. If you do what he tells you to, you'll get an A.

The professor did a great job in class. I have stopped by his office several times. Every time he welcomed me in and explained everything in detail until I fully understood. Moreover, this is one of the few professors in UTD who knows the names of his students . I strongly recommend him.

He is very good at explaining the concepts. Once you understand this, you can do well on the exam. However, it is recommended that you come to class. Reading the textbook itself won't help you. He constantly review the concepts to make sure everyone understands and follows. I will take it again. I think he is the best professor for intermediate.

Hes a great teacher. Hes also very caring and is willing to repeat something until you understand, so feel free to ask a lot of questions. This class wasnt always easy to me, especially since theres a LOT you need to learn, so make sure to always study and practice. There are only two exams (the last is the final) and two homework assignments.

10/10 Prof! He's very knowledgeable about accounting in general & is more than happy to help you truly understand. Accessible outside & replies to emails as if they were texts (most times). The subject itself isn't difficult, just dense. There are 4 grades total, 2 assignments & 2 exams. Attendance is mandatory as it gives points towards the final.

The best accounting professor at UTD!

I waited a semester, so that I could take the class with him. He is an amazing teacher and he explains everything so clearly. I did not realize how much I learned until I got to Intermediate 2 and I saw students who took the class with other professors. They were not at the same level. You should make an effort to take the class with him!!

I took this class with Files in the Fall and would recommend you take it with Nir instead! He was not a tough grader and didn't try and trick you in the tests like Files did. He explained stuff more clearly and was prepared for all questions asked. There are only 2 tests and 2 assignments. A percentage of your grade is participation and attendance.
