He is a good teacher, but has a bad Southern accent.

five chile pepper HOT
had for MTH 112 and CIS 146...very clear...very smart...cares about his students
very clear and very helpful. There are only 2 tests and they are a little hard. On test day, look for hiding spots in the classroom, because he usually leaves the tests in there, then you can copy the problems and work them out before the test :) and test problems usually come from the study guide.
He is very caring when it comes to his students. He is a very good teacher also. He knows what he is talking about. He also likes to get to know his students.
Great and cares for his students.
he likes kelly clarkson and does not wear belts but he does tuck in his shirt. hmm... yeah the class was very easy if you understood all of your preclaculus stuff. also he is very sexy.
Funny guy. Nice to all his students. This is great class if you don't even know how to turn a computer on. An A is not too difficult to get. He likes The LSU Tigers and Manchester Utd.
Brilliant instructor. Take this instructor especially if you don't know anything about computers. Very helpful and a truly nice person. It's a big shame about his choice of English football team though. Come on you Blues!!!! Chelsea Forever. Don't let him make you into a Man Utd. supporter :-)
He is a super cool guy! He's also a hottie!
Very helpful, very nice. Great teacher
Great sense of humor and very nice guy.
CANNOT TEACH!!!!!!!!!!!
Very nice guy, very generous. But also confusing and hard at times in his teaching style and tests. Has no problem helping you out.
He never knows wht he is doing next, not predictable. Cal 2 is very hard and he didn't make it any easier, but he does give a lot of bonus problems and tries to help you do better.
He was awesome, real funny and great to cut up with. Good teacher espically for beginers to a computer. Extremely boring if you have experience with computers but still very amusing class. Real nice man, very helpful.
GREAT GUY! His lectures do give you the information and even if you study a whole bunch his tests will still kill you! However, he understands that his tests are aweful and curves the grades at the end. He is really funny and really helps you out if you are attentive and participate. Taking him is probably the only way I passes Calculus.
Great teacher. Wonderful person. Easy if you're familiar with computers; also boring. But not so easy if you're not familiar with computers. Take the CIS 130 class before you take 146 if you are not good with computers.
Very confusing, gave tests after going over new stuff already, went off on rabitt trails when teaching.
He is great at explaining something until you get it. Be sure to speak up if you don't understand anything because if you don't, he'll keep going. :-) He's excellent!
He is a great guy, no doubt. He knows math, no doubt. But getting it to the students is the part where he has problems. His Language is all wrong and i couldn't understand him. But he is a big help outside of class.
Great Teacher ... makes it look easy
Nizar is the man!
So, I took Mr. Abudiab for MA 244. You're all right--he's such a great teacher. Not only does he care about you learning the material, but he cares about you as a person and your grade. And to all the "barbie dolls" saying, "LyKe OMG he'z so T hOT...he's very attractive, yes. Take his class, you won't regret it. -Walden
Very patient and willing to go over any problems until the material is understood. Assignments are usually pretty easy; he doesn't check homework. He has a great peronality and I must agree he is easy to look at.
Be prepared to pay attention in class, he doesn't tolarate any diversions.
great teacher overall... humorous too
Very genuine and really cares about his students. Extremely lenient when it comes to deadlines and grading. He wants everyone to get A's so he makes it possible. Easy talk to. I wish I could have him for every class!
Great Teacher!!! He is definately pro-student. I'm pretty sure I was supposed to get a B, but since I worked hard, showed up on time and for every class, and did all the assignments he bumped me up to an A. Can't wait to take him again next semester!
I couldn't ask for a better teacher. Gives bonus points and really wants us to learn and pass this class. He will work with anyone who needs help. Wish all teachers were like him. And he sure is good looking!
He is an excellent teacher. He is an LSU fan but will laugh along with other football fans. He simplifies the lecture to fit with your homework which makes it easier to understand. Spending some afterclass time with him wil benifit all.
Nizar is AWESOME! we had a rough start, but he worked us through it and he was very helpful. i learned soo much!
I had Nizar for 098 and 100. He was a great teacher. Gives help to anyone who asks. I wish I had him for all my classes. It's hard to fail this class if you do all the homework and get help from him if you need it. I highly recommend him. And yes, he does love LSU. But he is still cool anyway!
WORST CALCULUS TEACHER I HAVE EVER HAD!!!!...i made an A+ in precal and had to drop this class and retook it the next semester and made a "B" in the class with a different teacher
The only reasons I passed his class is because I got a tutor and he scales the grades.
Not a difficult class, and Nizar really wants the students to do well. He is a little hard to understand sometimes - his examples aren't always relevant, but he will explain anything over if you ask. Keep up with the homework and utilize the math lab and you'll be fine!
Take him for math
He was a great teacher and would defiantly help you out in the end if he knew you tried. The homework was online, which sucked because you have to simplify it all the way, but he gave a lot of extra credit and would help you if you needed it!
Love, love, love him! He will work as hard if not harder to help you as long as you help yourself! Gives extra credit on some of the chapters. You have to study what he tells you! The easiness level depends on how much you study. Awesome teacher! He truly cares about his students. I will definitely take him for MTH 100.

Excellent teacher. I absolutely loved him and he still helps me out from time to time with my other math classes when I need him. One of the nicest people I have ever had the pleasure to meet!! Take his class you will not regret it, he is helpful and considerate.
Very happy with the level of communication and involvement he has with his online students. Class is easy as long as you do the work. I highly recommend this teacher.
Amazing
I absolutely loved having him as a teacher! i hope i can have the opportunity to have him again! he is very straight forward and very helpful! all you have to do is ask for help and he is there & it makes a world of difference. Just do all your assignments.
Very helpful, nice, kind enthusiastic the class is not boring it is interesting the test are extremely easy!
I abosolutely love Mr. Nizar. I had him for math 98 and 100. Now I'm taking him for math 112. I'm the type of person that has a hard time with math , but learning from him makes it easy for me. If you have to take a math, take him. He truly cares about the success of his students and helps whenever you need it. I can't say enough about him. :)
He was a terrific teacher! I have always had trouble with math but with him as my professor it just clicked and I understood everything. He doesn't go on until everyone understands and he really cares about his students. Very kind and funny. Tests are not hard as long as you pay attention in class and do your homework. Highly recommended!!
He was a great teacher! I had him for MTH 098 & 100. He will help you if you ask, he likes for you to communicate with him. Do all the homework, practice exams, & reviews he will give you bonus points on your each exam if you complete the work before the each exam. Those bonus points will add up and help your grade in the end. He helped me so much.
So very Helpful <3
Took online CIS 147. Class was easy and this professor makes it easy to pass. You MUST do the work. He's very interested in making sure you do well. I recommend
Excellent instructor very helpful and willing to help in anyway possible likes for students to commuicate with the instructor about any issues you may have. Would recommend him for future CIS classes.
One of the best math teachers at Calhoun.
One of the best math teachers at Calhoun. He does his very best to make sure you understand the material and is perfectly willing to help you however he can. He is very fair with grading his tests.
Great MATH teacher
he great teacher and he take his time for the students
Awesome and very patient guy. He gives extra credit IF you do the exam retakes to see where you actually made the mistakes. It's up to 10 bonus points on that exam. Take his class. He is very easy going and also encourages his students if we need any assistance whatsoever outside of class. Not a tough exam grader either. You wont regret taking him
Probably the easiest math teacher I have ever had. All assignments are online, even the tests. But you have to take the tests at the testing center. You have to make time for them.
He is the best teacher ever! His class is super easy and he is a great teacher! His teaching is very clear.
I originally signed up for his class because the ratings were so great. I am very disappointed. Maybe something changed or he's just terrible at teaching math 112. He rushes through everything! He doesn't explain the rules for the sections. I have asked people in this class if they understand what's going on, they have no clue! It's a struggle.
I took this class online and it was a breeze. He always responded quickly and showed genuine concern for making sure his students succeeded. I learned a lot without being stressed or overwhelmed. I highly recommend this classprofessor!
Great teacher! If you don't understand something he will help you after class. He don't just give you the answer tho. He wants you to learn the material so he tries hard to help you understand it. He gives extra credit on tests and lets you even make up your lowest test score at the end of the semester if you want. Online book waccess code
I took this class online. He was awesome! Very helpful and interested in you passing and understanding the material. When assignments are due he extends the due date for the benefit of the students. I will definitely recommend ANY & EVERYONE! If you want a easy A or B he is your man!!
Interesting mix of his own lectures/power points combined with video lectures from the book. Constantly extended deadlines for projects, and quickly responded to questions.
He is an awesome teacher! I wish he taught MTH 113 because I would absolutely take that class with him! He is so patient with all of his students, answers all questions you may have, and is very understanding about absences if you have talked with him about why you won't or were not there. I made an A in his class and would recommend him to anyone!
Mr. Abudiab is a great person, but he gets off on analogies that have nothing to do with the class. There was one class where we got through 3 problems because of his analogies. If it weren't for this, he'd be a great professor.
Very friendly and helpful! He does his very best to make sure you understand the material and is perfectly willing to help you however he can.
Mr. Abudaib is an amazing teacher. I have always had a hard time understanding math. He is patient, kind, understanding, and does a great job explaining everything. If you attend class, do the homework, and ask questions when you don't understand something, there is no way to make a bad grade in his class. He offers a lot of extra credit as well.
Mr. Nizar is a great person, but he isn't the best teacher. If you struggle in math I would not recommend you taking his class. He does care about you and does want you to pass but he isn't very good at breaking things down for those who struggle in math. He also get off topic a lot and used analogies that really have nothing to do with the topic
He doesn't explain things clearly, he makes working out the problems harder than what they have to be and he always goes off subject and starts talking about other things in the middle of him "showing us how to do the problems".
Mr. Nizar has by far been the best math teacher I've ever had! He's caring and will go out of his way to make sure you understand the martial. His test can be challenging but if you study you will be do you great!
He was not a good teacher, He made math so hard to understand. He tried to teach too many new lessons in one class period. I have to retake math 100 because of him. And when I tried to go to his office for help he acted like he couldn't help me. I also work with the disability services and I have to have certain accommodations and he didn't care.
Professor Abudiab has been one of my favorite math teachers! He's caring and will take the time to help you out with any questions you may have. His class was easy, but in order to pass, you must study!
Mr Abudiab is one of the best teachers to take. Willing to help, always giving inspirational emails to students and is always available. He is the type of teacher that students come back to visit after they graduate. He is fair, lays everything out in chronological order, and was a great online class; always in touch with his students.
Always willing to help outside the classroom and to accommodate my schedule.
I found Mr. Nizar to be awesome at the beginning of the semester. He gives a reference sheet for every test, however, he doesn't allow calculators. The first test was easy, and after that it was down hill all semester. He got to the point where he didn't allow questions, wouldn't help a student and would not fix any of him mistakes in lectures.
Mr. Abudiab was always available for any and all questions I had. He even called me on the phone to go over a homework question I had. I was able to email him Programming assignments to look over before I turned them in. He truly wants to see his students do well in his class and it shows!
Really respectful and helpful teacher to have! He works on everyone schedule and helping people to understand how to do problems. His homework are interesting, sometimes not taught in lessons, but maybe easy for some people. He's a fun guy. You just have to understand math, or else you'll be lost. Recommended this teacher for Finite Math.
Mr. Abudiab is an excellent teacher! I have always struggled in math. Mr. Abudiab is very caring and always gives opportunity for extra credit. If you show up to class, and show him that you are really trying, there is no way you will fail. I made an A in the course and can't remember the last time I have done this well in a math course!
He's a good teacher, but sometimes goes off on tangents about his stories or how the math applies, but all in all it's mostly an online class if you take him face to face.
Prof. Abudiab is fantastic! This class was challenging enough to be interesting, but not so hard that it's stressful. Mr. Abudiab is VERY accessible and really wants you to succeed. He's also encouraging and kind. Anytime I had any sort of question or problem he worked with me till it was fixed. He's even offered to help in the future with C++!
I have always been terrible at math, then I took Mr. Abudiab and he was great and made math much more simple! He is a great teacher and an even better person. Very caring and very accessible outside of class. I highly recommend him. Great guy.
He is not a good professor at all, his teaching method is horrendous. The way he grades is very difficult to be able to get past. The only good thing about his is he decided to drop lowest test score..... this was due to the majority of the class failing.
I took an online class (precalc) and I taught myself, essentially. He's easy to reach for any questions and responds quickly and tries his best to help. I like the layout of the homework. The tests are easy enough and there are two attempts at each, which is great because the tests count for 75% of the grade. Overall, a decent teacher.
Taking 5 classes is hard, so careful taking math! All assignments are due to the end of each month. It is very challenging when taking those classes you have. It is not an easy class, lectures are okay if you understand math. Those who do not or don't like math, CAREFUL! Hw is decent.
He is great as a person and mentor. Super encouraging and nice. However, his work and tests are terrible. The amount of homework you have to do for one section is horrendous. Tests have very low averages as well. This class is time consuming because of all of the homework
Professor Abudiab math 112 class is not easy! You will teach your self how to do the homework if you can even do it.
He is the only professor I have that grades on attendance. Even though he knows that a lot of people know most everything in the class. He even releases a lot of the work a head of time so you can finish it weeks ahead. Which I don't understand that if you already finish the work why you have to come to the lecture.
It's very clear he wants the students to succeed, it's also clear he has every good intention to help us. However, I can't say in good faith he does the greatest job explaining things. CIS 102-Intro to Computer Programming required a lot of outside help to pass. He is VERY wordy. Coding homework aren't covered in our lessons or books.
I wanted to like Prof. Nazir. In person he is a charismatic person, and a pretty okay teacher. In homework in blackboard, he is a cold-hearted man. He is never, ever clear in the homework, and sometimes it seems like he intentionally confuses you so you spend 3-4 hours doing his homework only for him to give you a 50 and say "read the assignment".
Professor Abudiab is the worst professor. Seriously- DO NOT TAKE HIM! Good luck trying to figure out ANYTHING!!! There is little to no direction. My grade along with others in the class dropped mysteriously 10 points on the last day. Not impressed. This professor does not care. Heavy on homework. Tough grader. Is not clear about anything. AVOID HIM
Great Professor. I would take him for all my computer language classes if I could. The programming activities being a little hard to understand how he wants them is the only downside to the class. The upside is, if you dont understand the material after taking his class, you either slept the entire class or skipped doing the assignments.
One of the most amazing teachers Calhoun has to offer! As soon as his office hours hit he was on it! If I ever had an issue or a question he had a solution! It is a lot of work but if your willing to put in the time you will walk out with a great grade! I do recommend taking him!
He is the most unaccommodating instructor I have ever had. Even if you put in effort to do an assignment and there are technical issues that are out of your control he does not allow another effort. I tried taking a test and the website would not work which is not my fault and he would not troubleshoot or listen to my issues.
Great listener and really encouraging. Whatever you might have trouble with, he's always happy to help.
If you're reading this, RUN. Nizar is the worst professor I have had at any level of education. It is hard to understate. If you find yourself choosing a professor, and it's him or a piece of driftwood... 100% take the driftwood. They will put in the same amount of effort, but the driftwood wont actively impede your learning.
He's cool. You'll get an A in 146 with him unless you don't try at all. Take him.
Has a clear routine with assignments and teaches all class period. You can work the online modules during his lectures and easily stay caught up! Very informed on the subject he teaches.
Mr. Abudiab was so nice and helpful throughout the entire semester, anytime I had a question he always responded almost immediately! His class was easy if you did your work!
Very nice and supportive professor. The thing that stuck out to me is during a Teams call he asked for future semesters what he could improve on. He wants all of his students to succeed and wants to continue improving his course. Great Guy! Also, he adds 2 points to your overall grade at the end of the semester.
He is an amazing professor and wants to see students succeed. He takes the time to help students in anyway he can. He is always willing to video chat to help with assignments. As long as you put in effort he will help you. He responds to messages on teams very quickly. truly the best professor I have ever had. if you put in effort you will pass.
Great Class! Would recommend.
Wonderful professor! He truly cares for his students. I needed help multiple times throughout the course, and he always made time and was very patient. I wish more professors were like Mr. Nizar Abudiab. The work itself is pretty self-explanatory. Make sure to take notes while doing the trainings. The trainings themselves were very time consuming.
Professor Abudiab is incredibly helpful and wants students to succeed. His class is manageable if you put in the effort. Unstuck AI and the free textbook were great study aids alongside his lectures.
Nizar has been the sweetest more caring professor I've ever came across. The work is very easy, as long as you follow instructions. His work is due on Mondays instead of Sundays and if you have any questions he's quick to help. He's very encouraging and motivational. Such a bright soul and if he taught other classes I would pick him anytime.
Professor Abudiab is a great person and an excellent instructor. He's always helpful and available for questions. The assignments are easy to follow in Pearson. He genuinely cares about his students and wants everyone to succeed. Quick reply to emails or Teams. You will do great in his class if you put in the effort. I highly recommend it!
Abudiab is a great teacher. He is always in a good mood and willing to help in any areas needed. He uses AI to make his assignments, and they can get messed up sometimes, but he will fix them. He is very AI friendly and will even let you use it to help with assignments and test. No reason to not get an A in this class.
Professor Abudiab is honestly one of the best professors I've ever had. He's quick to respond to emails, wants to help students succeed, and is more than willing to spend entire class periods just on one subject and taking questions to ensure every student in the class understands the material. 10/10 would take again.
