This teacher is the worst; she's sarcastic, you must figure things out on your own; she' doesn't teach a thing. I had to teach my self! She's not helpful at all and you can't even ask a question without her getting mad at you. She has an awful accent and you don't understand a thing she says. Don't take her if you want to learn something.

This professor is the worst. She loves to write and talk, but will never explain the lesson. Her favorite line is "go to the math lab if you do not understand this." Atleast half the class received an Incompete grade. DON'T TAKE THIS CLASS!!!!!

She was awful, the class was taught with computers and all she did was read the notes from the computer screen. No teaching, just reading. If there was a problem with the sustem (which there were many) she would explain the solution incorrectly or tell us we we doing it wrong. And if you don't enjoy being berated for no reason, don't take her.

This professor is horrible. She literally laughs at you if you get something wrong. She constantly sends you to the Math lab rather than explaining/teaching things herself. She loves to condascend. And beware - she has yet to shower this entire semester. DON'T TAKE THIS WOMAN'S CLASS!!

Took the class online. I've taken other classes online but she wanted to meet with us in person 4 or 5 times though out the semester to give us random assignments. The final was 2 paged taken out of a book we have never seen before. Pick another teacher is you want to learn anything.

Such a disappointment. I took her class ready to work hard to get a strong math base (unfortunatly I was not yet aware of this website). She is very condecending and rude and is not at all good at explaining anything remotely complex even though isn't rather difficult at all.

This teacher knew her material but she did not know how to execute it well with the class, in teaching or engaging us. She was very condescending. Claiming a lot of this is prerequisite knowledge, and if we didn't understand it go to the math lab, vs going to her for help. Mind you the math lab is a FREE service. Be warned, dont recommend at all!

Pr. Agwu is a horrible professor who doesn't help you understand any of the course. Her role is " I now this if you need to learn it go to tutoring". Why are you a professor if I need to go to tutoring to begin with. I do not recommend anyone to choose her as a professor for any course.

I should have listened to the 4 pages of bad feedback from this website. First day of class and I had to walk out within the first hour. She is soo rude with an attitude and shows she does not want to be there. She expects you to figure it out on your own and does not want to teach. How is she a college professor!

If math is the subject you struggle with, stay away! She's the absolute worst! She hands back work you have done over 2 months after you submit it. The homework she gives has problems that you wont know how to do. So if you did it right you wont even know because it takes forever to get it back. Personality isn't a huge deal but she is quite rude.

Worst Professor I've ever had and I'm usually good with math. But this lady can not teach for nothing. She teaches her self rather than the class. Gives the answer to the problem rather than working through it with the class. Also when you ask her a question, she will yell at you for no reason. Just because you didn't understand it the question.

Taking this class is a test in patience. She is not clear about assignments, provides a lot of homework but nothing seems to follow a syllabus so you'll be in the dark the entire semester about what to expect next. A lot of the work feels like 'busy' work, and she is not open to answering questions, she preaches the idea that you should look it up.

I signed up for this class thinking I would learn something but to my dismay I found out that the professor would not show up at all. It has been four weeks since I have last seen the professor and I have just been having subs some are good and some just come and sit down to chill. Please do not take this class if you want to learn statistics.

I don't have anything against Professor Agwu but I would not recommend her. She barely came to my class where a substitute named "Mr.X" (i believe his name was Xan) would teach for her. He is definitely better than her. My final basically determine my whole grade for the semester where she forces people to get a grade that would give them a C-.

Her teaching in my perspective seems very ineffective to me, and all she literally gives are group projects, some lectures happen here and there but regardless I think she doesn't give enough lectures. I did NOT learn a single thing! I highly do NOT recommend this class if you want to stay sane AND want to learn statistics. She has a terrible attitude and embarrasses you in front of the whole class if you have a question. Heavy on group projects starting on day one! No tests, but homework is repetitive. This class was a nightmare. Professor is very rude and lazy. Didn't lecture or give power-points. Gave 5 projects and 4 assignments a week that has no relation to math. Class was a global studies and arts and crafts class instead of statistics math. Worst class of my life and a complete waste of time and money. Pick Another Professor that teaches.

PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE TAKING THIS PROF! I can whole-heartedly say that this is the WORST professor I have ever had. You will not learn anything. The required textbook is her own written books (about God). She will make you create a doll that looks like her and talk about God. You are not allowed to ask questions, if you do she wont answer it.

This professor was no help at all. I emailed her many times because I needed help and she flat out told me she won't help. She said go on blackboard and read it all to get my answer. I asked specific homework question I don't get how blackboard would help that. After I emailed again she said there are no shortcuts do it yourself.

Wow! With so many academics competing for tenured positions, how did BMCC end up with someone THIS bad?!?! The only word I can think of to sum up Prof. Agwu's attitude is "negligent." Did NOT actively teach at all, gave assignments and took forever to grade them, not open to questions or helping students, and downright rude. AVOID at all costs!

She gives so much homework and was passive aggressive rude to me when I emailed her and asked a simple question. She got a lot of good reviews so I chose her but now that I'm in the class, I want to drop it. It's asynchronous so everything is just all the more confusing.

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS! THIS PROFESSOR DOES NOT TEACH YOU AT ALL. She will give you some videos FROM YOUTUBE and then you have to solve all of application questions. you will have to look up some mathematical ideas on Youtube because there is NO single lecture where the professor directly teach you any concepts that are applied to the questions.

If you struggle to understand math, pls don't take this professor. She goes on long, irrelevant tangents and gets mad when someone doesn't understand something or has a question, which I find awful. Mostly talks about her book and the application of stats instead of actually teaching you how to do it. The project was to make a doll. (???)

Answers emails very late, has very unclear instructions for her assignments, she likes to talk about herself a lot. Overall just wouldn't recommend unless she was the last option.

Confusing and unhelpful. One of the textbooks you are required to buy is a self-aggrandizing, self-published autobiography where she uses numerology and religion to prove how she's some kind of blessed, divine being through the power of numbers. You also have to make a doll modeled after her. I learned nothing. Curious as to why BMCC tenured her.

I don't know what that class was about. She just wanted us to buy her books and read them. My class was supposed to be a 0 cost (no textbook) class and there was a textbook provided by the school, yet she made us buy her books. She is obsessed with herself, her assignments make no sense grammatically. Take someone else or you'll go crazy.

she is incredibly challenging. Her explanations were are confusing, leaving me feeling lost and unsure. lots of assignments due at once, The grading was harsh, I struggled to achieve satisfactory marks.

One of the worst, scratch that the worst professor in my academic career so far. She was a really tough grader and honestly asked pointless questions (i.e. draw your favorite shapes and explain why you like them.) Class was very religion based which seems insensitive to me because not everyone believes the same thing or believes in religion at all.

Took Intro To Statistics as an asynchronous class with her and cannot tell you how miserable it has made me. Why for a math class are we having to decorate an egg carton and sew a doll? She doesn't give any actual teaching, only suggests finding a textbook (does not suggest any) and occasionally links YouTube videos. You also have to buy her book.

The only reason she's teaching this class is to sell her books but nothing else. why do I have to count an M&M , chose a favorite color and explain why its my favorite? Just unnecessary.

Activist, not a professor. Doesn't actually teach math. Instead talk a lpt about politics and how great she is. She actually used numbers to prove she is "the chosen one". Also, for Zero Textbook course, we had to buy her book, which is unethical and frankly should not be legal.
