He is a great professor. Anatomy is a hard subject and you have to study hard to even pass. this is not a class for people that don't take studying serious. class was interesting and I would recommend this teacher to everyone. He is great and helpful. And also if you suck in Bio don't say it is because of your teacher :P

Makes the material very clear. Very nice. There are not tricky questions on the exam. Quizes ae given very often, all of them are extra credit. Come to class, be prepaired. you'll be fine. Better then other proffesors I had so far.

provides notes w/ pics and diagrams. sometimes doesn't speak loud enough. monotone-ish voice. will always be willing to answer a question, but doesn't always know the answer. a little corny. tests can be hard, but if you show up everyday, pay attention, and study the notes, you should be fine. oh and hates it when you talk while he's talking.

He is the best biology professor I?ve ever had. He is very nice and very helpful. Speaks clearly and explains his material well. He gives quizzes everyday but it?s only about everything he discussed the previous meeting, which is good. I would definitely recommend this professor. Super nice.

Mr. Marshall is an excellent teacher. He's very kind and always asks "Does anyone have any questions?" and then he moves on to the next topic. For those of you who say he's not a good teacher, you're lying. Maybe you're not a good student. Guess what? You have to study. Yeah, you know read the notes he gives. People just complain b/c they're lazy.

Professor Marshall knows his stuff. The material is difficult...welcome to the REAL WORLD! Don't blame the professor because you didn't study! He gives you all the answers in the lecture notes and online study guides. He even tells you what is going to be on the test. There is no homework in this class and every quiz is considered extra credit.

one of the best profs i've ever had. really wants to make sure you get the material. a lot of students confuse the difficulty of the material w/the difficulty of the prof. A&P is *HARD* but he does his best to find ways to relate the concepts. be prepared to devote a lot of time to this class but this goes for ANY prof... highly recommend him!

Great smart professor, really knows his stuff, but honestly its THEE hardest class ive ever taken. You have to study A LOT for this class, but in the progress you really do learn a lot. Though Attiah's class is easier and shes kinda cute, if u ACTUALLY want to learn something, take noal...but dont expect an easy A or B....and u DO NOT need the book

Marshall is a good teacher in terms of being very detailed in his lectures and he will help you until you understand the material, but in terms of his tests they are almost made to fail you it seems.Out of my class which was about 40 students most of the tests averages were 60-70% & He does often have discrepencies consistently on the test.

He is a good professor, but if you are taking a lot of classes like Calculus II, Heavy Chemistry and other heavy classes, I recommend you don't take him at all because you need to seriously focus on this class by itself. If you are taking this class only then it should be a breeze IF you study because this class requires a lot of time!

He is an excellent teacher, always willing to help until you understand. You do have to study very hard in order to get the grade you are looking for. You get an extra credit quiz the first five minutes of every class, so make sure you are on time. The quizes can make a big diffrence in your final grade, so study after every class.

The class is a lot of information, specially if you take it in the summer like I did. He is a great teacher though and his extra credit quizzes could really change your grade! The class is hard, but he is a good teacher. A lot of studying

It was a very hard class, but still fun. Ask many questions to noah especially on epithelium slides to be able to label them correctly on the tests. He will give you many clues to correctly identify epithelium. Other than that, getting a good grade is your responsibility, like studying hard on your own time, and coming everyday to class. GL

Amazing, Amazing, Amazing. Great teaching style, goes into detail, ties everything to clinical, and makes you think. Challenging class, but a generous amount of extra credit pts def help. Quizzes/Exams are no surprises. Come straight from lecture so make sure you take A LOT of notes. Challenging class but learned so so so much! Love this teacher!

He's VERY KIND. u can ask him any questions and he'll answer it for u. Each day u come in, he will give u a 5 points xtra credit quiz. this grading scale is nice 100-90 an so on. unlike other professor, their grading scale is 100-94 is A!! RECOMMEND HIM

Marshall is a good teacher but he is VERY boring and it was impossible for me to stay awake in his class. He does know the material and is a walking textbook and can talk for ever!! I feel like he makes the class seem harder than it should be and his tests are really hard, you def. need to study or you will fail the class. He is ok

Professor Marshall can give too many details in his lectures which gets me bored but those are the details you need to pay attention to thoroughly understand the material! Very helpful; he goes row to row asking people if they have any questions. He puts additional documents on blackboard for you to take advantage of. Very good looking by the way.

I loved him... He's the best A&P professor at Wright. This class isn't easy,but I would recommend recording his lectures and making notes of them at your convenience.If you do this, thrust me that you're going to get "A's" in every exam. But word of advice, when you get to the nevous system and brain start on the stuy guides early, most people failed this section and not becuase of him, it's just a lot of material. He is a very personable instructor, he cares about his students and will go to every measure to make sure you are understanding the material. The book is not necessary at all to pass the course. Take anatomy with him I guarantee you will pass and have a clear-cut understanding of anatomy and physiology.

Lets be real, all you SHOULD want to know, is how he tests. Yes he gives extra credit quizes worth 5 points and yes they're easy but his exams lol well questions are very vague and multiple choice answers are very specific lol. what a combination. Study guides dont really help, if you take him READ the book AND utilize his notes. READ the book

Bio 227 is hot to deal with. The professor taught well. Use the study guide and answer all the questions in it, you will do well in the class. Use his notes too. The text book is very helpful. Noah likes physiology questions a lot and tissues. He is always available to help his students. He is a good teacher but the course itself is tough

I took biology 120 with him and I'm very good with memorization so medical terminology was a breeze for me and also with the help of his lectures and his online resources and not to mention his attentiveness and his willingness to answer every question we asked. And did I mention he's beauty & brains? Eye candy. But he's very professional.

Lots to say about Marshall. He is known around the college as the hardest A&P professor. That being said, if you truly want to learn and have the time to study, you can succeed. I didn't have problems in his class. Take the quizzes seriously, they're extra credit but can save you. He wants you not to just do well but LEARN. HIGHLY recommend.

Highly knowledgeable of material. I had no problem whatsoever and had an A from the class.. Needless to say that I am in Pharmacy school now and on the dean's list.I learned a lot from him and its definitely helping at the graduate level. You will to if you really want to learn. Best ever!!!

Highly recommend Professor Marshall!! He's very clear with everything. Very nice, and very helpful! He clearly knows beyond what you're suppose to know at this level. All questions are answered very clearly and to the point. His exams is a very good for critical thinking. Exams make sure you know your stuff. Definitely sign up for his class!!

i took noah for bio 120 and loved his way of teaching. so i decided to take him again for 226...big mistake. he is very clear and knows what hes talking about. hes an over all great teacher, BUT his tests are impossible and very vague. I wish his tests were the same as his quizes but they're not. good luck!

Excellent prof. Very organized. Knows his material. Supplies you with lecture notes, no need for the book. Grades based on exams only. Extremely clear lectures. Exams are verbatim from the lecture notes, lecture comments, and lab manual. Easy A if you STUDY! People who complained about his tests clearly did not take the time to study.

He is very willing to help when questions and always has office hours. His study guides don't really help and are very long for no reason. Other than that, its a pretty easy class at this level. Make sure you pay attention and don't skip or you will be totally lost the next lecture.

An amazing professor. I truly wish there were more like him. A lot of people complain that his exams are hard, but he really wants you to understand the material. If you work on the study guide and the labs, everything will become clear to you. after all, it is a hard subject. Won't be an easy A, but he is definitely clear in his lectures.

Great professor. He gives you all the resources you need to pass the class. He gives study guides, hands out his own notes, and labs are useful. He is a kind man but demands respect so don't talk in class. The only reason you would do poorly is if you do not use the resources he gives you. He hardly gave any homework unless he noticed majority of the class was failing. Gave no lab work, no group projects. No quizzes, just morning extra credit points. Exam were very difficult, majority of my class dropped his course. The 12 people that stayed to face this class, only 9 passed. The class was so full at first hitting maximum of seats.

Professor Marshall is hands down a really good teacher! You don't need to buy the expensive textbook just his lab manual from the bookstore! During the first week he give's you a packet of lecture notes. You just have to make sure you study, take really good notes in your packet, and don't be late for EC quizzes! It's a tough class but its biology!

His classes are great, truly one of the best professors out there. The lectures are well explained, concise, and extremely interesting. His enthusiasm for the subject is clear and contagious. No text books necessary, notes are all provided. I would definitely take any class he teaches.

Really enjoyed his lectures and teaching. If only i had worked hard in the beginning of the semester I would of gotten a higher grade. Anyhow, he gives extra credit quizzes almost everyday and has a good balance of lectures and lab. Exams are pretty tough!

The best sciences prof I've had. I started at WW, transferred to another school where I had to take a bunch more bio-related classes. I am also now in EMT school on the side. His A&P classes gave me a great foundation, made these classes easier. I pull out his handouts/my notes to use in classes now! Work hard and listen, you'll be fine.

He's an amazing teacher. Caring, passionate about his subject, and very fair. Lots of extra credit, almost a whole letter grade. Pay attention to his lectures, and you'll pass.

His lectures are information packed so you better have a good attention span. However his power points and study guides were very vague and not all that helpful. Without a doubt you can easily get a B with all the extra credit he gives from his daily quizzes. He is not a hard grader, and is always available during his office hours.

Noah Marshall is by far my favorite teacher! He is an amazing biological teacher and I would highly recommend him. He was my professor for bio226 and bio227 and for both classes I got an A. He will definitely make you work for it but he is extremely helpful and caring. May God bless this man

I took Prof. Marshall for both 226 and 227. He really cares about his students and wants them to achieve. His class is very lecture heavy, so you must pay attention, but after his lecture he gives lab worksheets to help you work though what was just taught. I think he is a great professor, very knowledgeable, and would highly recommend him!

Incredibly intelligent, an A&P genius. His lectures are tough and he move through things quickly but he does well at explaining things. I suggest recording lectures, adding to your notes, and STUDY! 10 exams, several ExCred quizzes, and 2 hw assignments. He definitely prepares u for the future and wont coddle u so be prepared to put in the work

lots of extra credit quizzes with fill in answers so reading notes and paying attention to lecture is a must. Lab quizzes are multiple choice and so are the test. He will explain anything you need.

If a student wants to learn and have successful scientific achievements in this subject, I do highly recommend taking Professor Marshall. His given labs deepened our knowledge. He is caring and always available outside the class. He fairly assesses students' dedication and learning outcomes. His class and boundless knowledge exceeded expectations!

great, kind, smart professor, but his class was just a lot for me! his online class is mainly review of the mandatory extra credit quizzes and lab work. lecture is to be watched on your own, which is where i definitely struggled. be prepared to ask a lot of questions, find other study work, and buckle up bcuz its a LOT OF STUFF.

I have never had a professor like him, in the best way possible. Was it a hard class? YES, its BIO 227! It's supposed to be hard. Does he give alot of work? ALSO YES. But everything that he gives us sets us up for success. If I needed help, he was available via zoom almost all the time! He doesnt make you feel stupid for asking questions. 10/10!!!

If you are serious about going into Nursing, please pick this professor and pick his brain. He is the best. His class demands you push yourself. If you can't, then it's not for you. I took him years ago, and even though I ended up changing my major, I respected this teacher a lot for their abundant knowledge on Anatomy and Physiology.
