Funny...hard marker....his breaks are to long...would rather get to the material and go home, not take long breaks.
His efficiency stops with his looks. Tells bad jokes and never fails to give up on them. Sometimes he talks about everything but the course!!
Very social fellow, but don't expect to get anything out of him in terms of the purpose you may have taken the course for... very funny guy, very poor criminology instructor!
This prof is really good. He's well prepared and makes the class very interesting. I will definitely take another class from him.
good teacher. ok but you need to study for exams since he's test are challenging. i'm a guy that actually enjoyed his austin power's jokes.
Funny Guy. Good sense of humour. His tests are challenging and a bit ambiguous but hes fair. Added 6% to everyones midterm because of the ambiguity of some questions.

Noah is an outstanding instructor. He makes learning interesting. Research methods is a tough course to teach. But Noah uses a number of techniques to help us understand some fairly difficult material. I would take another course from him anytime.
Noah Neaman is the best prof I have had at Douglas. His teaching techniques are the best. He takes a keen interest in ensuring that the students understand the material. I have recommended him to many of my friends.
NOAH NEAMAN IS THE BEST!!...by far the funniest, nicest, easiest to get a long with crim instructor at douglas. Very well prepared...just wish he taught more classes!
Noah is definately the best professor at Douglas. He makes even the most mundane stats classes intertesting by including relevant, and funny personal experiences. Always a joker, but cares about the students.
Noah rocks!! I had him for back to back classes (5 hrs) and he kept me entertained the whole time. His sense of humour is great and his classes are straight to the point. Tests are all multiple choice and he is a fair marker on papers. HE'S GREAT!!
noah is always prepared and is always interesting - highly recommended
Played with his palm pilot while lecturing.Unprofessional and a little smarmy. I was quite disappointed with the course. I would not take this professor again.
Noah is a smart & funny guy! I think that's what makes him attractive to my friends and I :) His course was fun!
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Definately an awesome teacher. Very cool and outgoing and makes the class real fun! His stories about his clients are hilarious!
very smart, organized and not to mention hilarious. such a cutie;)
Bla bla Bla, this guy loves himself! he never learned my name and always balied out on class early. Asked for help and he appeared disinterested, but class was EASY!
Had his classes years ago. He was funny, a bit lazy, liked to show movies, if he liked you then you did well, tests were tricky at times, but you had to read the text b/c notetaking was minimal.
The material isn't that interesting to read but he makes it fun and interesting. His tests are kind of tricky but if you read the text and pay attention to the lectures you should do well.

Very relaxed but unpredictable at times.
Fantastic instructor. He really is interested in the course. I have recommended him to a number of my friends. Noah is the best instructor I have had in my 3 years at the college.
Get 160 with Noah if you can get into his class. There is a big wait list.
The only hottie at douglas! His class was fun and I liked the videos. I didn't like his multiple choice exams though, they're tricky. You're a hottie Noah but you know you it.
I am surprised OTHERS who share my point of view on Noah have not done so already. Extremely poor teaching style; recites EVERYTHING from the text (c'mon, I would be a good, but boring prof too). There is no point in attending his lectures. paper assignment is easy and meaningless.I do not recommend
funny, and i like his eyes.
Nice guy with a great sense of humor.Interesting.
Excellent teacher, I had a major crush on him cause he's totally cute, hottie! Very good course to take, I suggest it with him. Tests are good, and pretty simple, just read the text, don't be lazy! It's all outta the reading, and a bit on his notes. So show up and jot it all down and you'll do good.
Good ol' Noah. Funny fellow, tests were great, and I can not believe how buff he is! He amuses us all with his anecdotes about his law school days, including impressions of people he knew. "Shappy knows!" Strongly recommend this guy, he's a riot.
His test is a kinda of tricky, but if u read the book, u will be just fine. You wont find him in his office during office hours, anyway.

good prof, M/C test are tricky, he is hot, he does get off topic with his stories, but they are funny, he does recit the text a lot, just read the text and ull do fine...
Fantastic prof with excellent teaching skills and very personable. Everyone tries to get into his classes.
Wow, I didn't realize other people found this guy as hot as I did. Other than the self-deprecating cuteness factor, I found him to be a good, engaging teacher...very approachable.
Noah is the best teacher at douglas.

Very funny and super -cute
Noah was a good teacher in this class. He liked to talk about world events which sometimes got us off topic but he is funny and has a good sense of humour. The tests were mostly from the textbook's content and they were fairly easy. Overall very good!

if you want to learn, mite as well read the book on your own time. only take this with him if you need it.
excellent
Good prof. Some material is very dry and boring, but he is a funny prof...gets everyone laughing. Notes are good, but read text for further explanation. For tests, rely on both notes and text.
he is a great teacher but every class you write notes. He does everything in your favor he is a good guy i would recommend him to others
The notes were boring, long and straight from the text. He told more stories about his clients than he taught the cirriculum.
Best prof I have had at Douglas yet. All round great guy and super smart. Lots of notes but very interesting. Highly recommended.
Fantastic professor. He is very engaging and well informed. Long wait list to get into his class though.
very easy going prof, exams are worth a lot (35%) but he makes them pretty fair
My best class yet at Douglas. Prof is very knowledgeable and makes class really interesting. Learning really can be interesting!
He is smart lawyer and would give you the stuff not just for passing exams, but for facing the real world. His exams are tricky which makes me to wonder if he really wants his students to pass.
This dude is not your average professor. Great guy, laughs a lot. Says ummm more than some other professors, but nevertheless a good teacher. Notes straight from text. Tells A LOT of stories about clients, when he was in law school, and other stuff. Funny stories. Does great impressions of ppl-hilarious!! Gets off topic sometimes with the stories
easiest guy ever.. good gpa boost.. not very helpful at all
love love love noah. The dryest material in the world came to life in this class. Monkey****? check. embarassing life lessons? double check. such a fantastic guy, classes are never boring and when they are borderlining unentertaining, he apologizes profusely. Good times had by all, take a class with him if you can.
Very funny and interesting teacher but procrastinates a lot. tells lots of jokes and law school funnies. shawllow amount of course content taught and notes all from txt. long breaks and short classes. tests all mc and give bonus % if avg too low. take law with him if suck at it cuz u will make ur way thru and pass.
He is a pretty easy going guy and he is really lose on deadlines. But the big marks are on the test's he gives bonus marks if the class overall did bad. Its good if you like to slack off but if you acctually want to learn something its not so great
Great Prof.
this teacher is easy no little assignemnts two tests and an fun easy essay. He is very funny and so cute! very attractive little guy.
Lectures are fun thought he get off topic so easily. He is flexible about the essay deadline and overall he is very friendly and fun. maybe a lil too much; Long breaks, and he doesnt teach that much and doesnt seem to know that much beyond the class lectures.. but we forgive him cause he is hot :)
tests are all multiple choice....notes straight off overhead....read notes and 95% of studying done
funny prof. Tests are easy...multiple choice, written optional. All questions on test on from overhead, but use text for more info, but not necessary. He rambles a bit, but great sense of humour.

I really enjoyed this class. want to be a lawyer and Noah is the prof to get. He has lots of experience and is a very engaging speaker. He also has a great sense of humour. The class is a lot of work though. Well worth it.
he is great.
Fun guy. Interesting lectures. I thought he was really good.

I think Noah is the best prof around. He is very knowledgeable in his field. Funny guy too!!
Basic MC tests- study from text and your good to go. Useless lectures but fun because he goes off topic. A lot. Clear notes, but not needed. Overall, a good pick. Recommended.
all tests are multiple choice and worth 35%, so if you do bad with one of the tests, he will NOT help you out at all. He doesnt lecture he just literally writes word for word from the book to the overhead. Would recommend a different teacher, took him few years ago and he was great, but not anymore.
THE EASIEST PROF YOU WILL EVERY GET. All the information is basic, tests are extremely easy. On written part just b/s and he'll give u full marks. Good examples from real life, this guy is awesome!
I didn't really enjoy this professor. His tests are worth such a large percent of your grade that if you do poorly on one of them your whole grade can go downhill from there.
taking intro to canadian law right now, prof is useless, uses class time to joke around and act like an idiot. His exams are multiple choice but weighted heavily, his lectures are useless, asking him for assistance is gone unanswered, and he communicates in emails with responses like I dont know,.. ask another student. pathetic.
Fantastic prof. He is very knowledgeable and hot too! Highly recommended.
good looking, great funny guy, you can tell he is a fantastic lawyer too!
Whoever says he is not good or stuff like this, must be an idiot or way too lazy. He`s great. I would take every single course with him if i could. This was my 2nd course with him. Exams mc. One paper (u get to go in court and watch some cases). Easy marker. Recommended!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great Prof 2 multi choice exams with one paper. No final exam just a quiz worth 10%. Attendance is mandatory as he will write notes on the overhead and must throughly review the sections in the text before exams
Noah is a great prof, I'd definitely recommend him to anyone- he keeps class interesting, really funny, and extremely fair! He goes over exactly what will be on tests and correlates the textbook with lectures making it easier to study. 2 tests 35% each, 10% quiz and one 20% paper. I would take another class with him if I could, no doubt!
Noah is hilarious and entertaining teacher. He is very clear and helpful and makes the class enjoyable. He has many stories to share from his law practice and always relates them to the course. He has 3 exams which are mostly multiple choice. If you attend class and take notes/read the book there's no way you can't get an A. Highly recommended!
amazing prof, he keeps it real and the class is funny and entertaining. he uses tons of real life cases and experiences which really helps me personally remember stuff for the tests. read the textbook and attend class and you'll ace it. really cool guy, down to help you whenever you need. plus the paper was actually an interesting topic.
Solid prof. Read the textbook and your sure to get an A
Love this guy ! great guy. definitely recommended :)
so easy to learn, i really enjoyed his class and i hope he will teach other crim course over my time at douglas, i cant tell hes a great lawyer and i know i can relate to his sucess
Noah is a great prof! Always tries to add humor where ever he can and is super helpful! Does not put anything online, notes are all in class but he gets them from textbook! Will take more classes with him if I have the chance!
Amazing and funny prof! Would take it again! Must attend every class, because whatever he says it might be on the exam, but not in the textbook. Easy marker, and interesting guy with funnyinteresting stories to tell. You won't be bored in class at all! Trust me! :D
He is a very funny guy. he is clear when he teaches and gives good examples but he defiantly makes you work for your grade.
Besides the fact that he is gorgeous, he is an amazing professor. He is extremely smart and easy to approach. I have taken two classes with him and if he taught more sections I would take them too. He is a fair marker, given that you studied. I would highly recommend Noah to criminology students. GPA BOOSTER!
A humorous, and fair professor. The textbook he uses is very clear and to the point just like his lectures, tests, and assignments. 2 critiques: He repeated a few of the same stories up to 3 times throughout the semester, and he doesn't make himself very easily available outside of class.
Super easy class as long as you study the notes and textbook. Test questions are entirely straight out of the notes and readings, no trick questions. Keeps material relevant and discusses different cases during lectures. Good sense of humour. Only complaint is the notes are more like paragraphs but it pays off for the tests.
Noah is a great teacher and he expects exactly what he asks from you: Read the text, take good notes, and show up to class. He's super funny and definitely seems to care about how students do in the class as well as what they learn. Great stories and lectures : )
I love Noah, I've taken two classes with him and he never fails to excite me :) . He's very intelligent and hilarious, and always very supportive. Probably my favorite prof at Douglas!
Noah is probably one of the greatest professors at Douglas. He's absolutely hilarious, so chill and fully understands the needs of his students. I'm sad I can't take anymore classes with the guy! Definitely recommend him to students who are beginning their crim journey at douglas!
Really good teacher. My favourite so far. Lecture heavy but he makes it interesting by incorporating real life stories, group discussions, videos, and he jokes around. Definitely recommend taking a class with him.
Awesome class, would definitely take again!
Amazing prof. Knows what he is talking about. Brings real life examples and guest speakers which make the class interesting. But do not take the class if you do not on not reading the notes or the textbook. Don't take any courses at all if you plan on not reading its course material...
Awesome teacher! He gives good lectures, he likes to make jokes and he's an easy marker. The exams are a mix of mostly multiple choice and 1 short answer question.
Very easy to understand, goes over notes in greay detail, makes sure everyone understands the lecture
best prof in douglas
best prof had in douglas
Amazing professor. Very down-to-earth and approachable. I will miss not having him as a teacher.
Noah is a great professor!!! In Crim 1100, there were 2 midterms, 70 mc and 2 written, a term paper (where you cover a case study) and the final which was 30 mc and 2 written. He is very caring and understanding!! His exams are very easy and the case study was very easy as well, i ended up with a grade in the 90's. Would take another class with him
Noah is amazing. One of the best profs I've had. Gives good, clear lectures, tests are very fair. 3 exams and a paper. He marked the papers really fair as well, gave lots of feedback. He makes lectures fun by sharing stories from his cases, and by being really funny. Wish I could take more classes with him! Oh and he's really good looking.
The best proff which Douglas has ever had! This class has been my 2nd class with him and I'm very sad that there's no more classes left to take it with him :( He's very knowledgeable, friendly, listening and open-minded; hence, I do recommend him.
Second time having him as a teacher and he is one of my favourites! The course content is pretty dry but he tries to make it interesting and his tests are very fair and overall pretty easy. He wants you to succeed. He tells funny stories and integrates real life experiences into his lectures. Be prepared to take a lot of notes.
Noah is awesome! he tells you exactly what you need to study for the exams, and most of it is definitions from the textbook and his notes. You must show up because you do have to take a lot of notes. 10/10 best prof i've had.
Noah is a great instructor. He is extremely caring and tells great and funny stories about about his clients to to make the course content more interesting as he is a lawyer. In terms of the course there are 3 exams, which are not bad at all if you study and one paper, in which he grades very fair. Overall I highly recommend him!!!
Amazing teacher! Is very clear with his lectures and notes. Explains what he wants us to know for tests and what he expects on papers. I took his evening class so sometimes he'd let us off early. He is easy to talk to and is very funny. Definitely would take him again!
Undoubtedly, my favourite professor, he made it extremely simple to digest the material and was very understanding. He made me want to do well in the course. It consists of2 midterms worth 35%, 1 test, 10%, and case analysis, 20%. Most of the information on the exams is taught in class. However, there are still questions from the textbook, as well.
Noah is an amazing prof! There'd be no hesitation if I were given a chance to take a class with him again. He makes his lectures fun by talking about cases he's done. His tests are fair and his lecture notes help a lot. He is open minded, has humour, and clearly cares for his student's success. Study your notes, read your book and you're good!
I loved coming to class! Noah kept his lectures interesting and engaging by talking about cases he's done and he's got good humour. His tests/assignments are very straightforward. As long as you study your text and notes for the tests, you should be just fine. He cares for his students and is open to discussions. Would take a class with him again!!
Noah Neaman is a good professor although he is all over the place this semester. I believe it is because we have switched to online which is understandable. He does not respond to emails, you have to email him twice to get a response back which is annoying but overall he posts lectures and has easy criteria
Noah seems to be a caring professor that knows what he is talking about (he is a lawyer). But he seems to be a very unorganized professor, that seems to treat teaching as a side job. His class is pretty easy as long as you pay attention, and read the textbook, but his feedback/class format is mediocre
Prof. Neaman was my favorite prof. He was inspirational, friendly, kind, ready to help on one on one zoom video calls. If you show that you love law, he will make you a lawyer. He is fair and free instructor. Prof. Neaman is dedicated and has great asynchronous lectures. The tests were fairly easy and he is a generous marker. Take him for sure.
Awesome prof. Amazing lecturer. Truely caring and inspiration man. Smart as a whip. I would take his course again any day. Highly recommended.
