Prior to his class I had no interest in tourism. Took it because it was mandatory for another class I was in. But I found his quirky personality and fun, engaging approach to teaching the subject, I slowly became interest in what I was learning. He is an amazing teacher and has inspired me to do more with my life. Keep teaching Noal,You're awesome!

Noel is great, funny,skillful, and handsome. I enjoyed having a class with him. He gives you hints for Midterm and Final exams which really help. His class is pretty straight forward and if you work for the course, you'll get good mark. Don't bother to buy the expensive textbook. everything comes from the course materials on Moodle.

Noel's a funny and engaging professor. He really loves what he teaches and he does well with making material more interesting. He doesnt stick to the book entirely and likes to use current events to supplement textbook definitions and concepts. I would recommend Noel to anyone wishing to take a relatively easy class where you'll actually learn

He is a likable professor. Lectures are enjoyable. He pretty much gives you the exam questions, so theirs no reason not to do well. Simulation is pretty straight forward as long as you have a good group. I never used or bought the textbook.

Great prof! Really easy to get along with. Took an 8:30 class with him so usually there's only like 10 of us in class. Classes are basically a back and forth conversation with him. He relates the course material to real life experiences. Clear guidelines for assignments. He gives practice questions for exams. Will take classes with him again!

You can really tell Noel cares about his students and wants them to succeed. Lectures are very informal. He tells you exactly what is on the midterm and final. The simulation/term project was engaging and honestly pretty fun. Don't bother buying the textbook. Will be looking for Noel again.

Noel is a lovely man with awesome experience. This class is content heavy for sure. You definitely need the textbook. The hardest part about the course was the midterm (study hard) and the final project based on the simulation (pick a good group). He definitely makes you work for your grade. Don't be lazy.

Very funny and easy going guy. Always entertain in the class, no boring stuff. He is the best Prof that I met at CapU. Exams are very simple and mainly in groups. Noel is always ready to solve students' problems and he has good knowedge. I would definitely recommend to take his course.

He is an excellent instructor. Makes the course easy because his lectures pull you in. They are fun! Grading criteria falls short, 1 outline says this, the other outline says another. Will definitely take again considering not many good instructors at Capilano U.

Noel is one of the best profs I've ever had, he genuinely cares about all his students and wants everyone to do well. He's very accessible outside of class to answer questions about assignments. He usually spends one class on exam prep before midterm/final. If you have the opportunity to take any course with him, do it!!

Noel's class is a good time. He flies through the lectures, so do read the textbook before class if you want to keep up. He wants you to succeedif you show him your assignments before they are due, he'll let you know what's good and what's missing.

Had Noel for BADM 204. One of the best profs at Cap. He is super knowledgeable, and really cares about the student. FOR sure take his class for BADM 204 or 302. He is amazing. One of the best @ Cap!!!

Noel is hilarious and very knowledgeable about the business industry. His lectures are great and he uses lots of engaging examples. The only thing I would caution you about is that he doesn't give a lot of feedback and you are never really sure what mark you are going to get on your work. Read the textbook and attend classes and you should do fine!

Noel is great, his lectures are pretty entertaining and he's very approachable. He has good insight into current business events and a healthy dose of humour.

Noel is a rare gem at Cap, do not miss an opportunity to take a class with him! His lectures are the most engaging I have ever experienced and I was still attentive and enjoying them by the end of our 3-hour class each week. He connects the information to the real world very often and makes learning a breeze. The final simulation report is a doozy.

Honestly, I wish I could have taken this course for a whole semester and not just the summer. Noel is kind, funny, and puts a lot of work into his courses. Took BADM 302 with Noel last Fall 2022. He spends allot of time with students on the team Research Project. The Current Events - HR in the News is a good assignment also. I would recommend him again!

I f-ing love noel with my whole heart he's so sassy and silly he's the best professor I have and will ever have. If you ever have a chance to take a class with this man DO IT you'll thank me later. Also 1000% worth taking him in person, you don't get the full Noel Effect online.

BADM 335 - Training and Development - Noel puts tons of work in this course. He teaches you 'stuff' you can use in the business world. Take the course with him ...........he does a great job!

correction: BADM 335 online with Noel. BADM 335 with Noel was awesome! Dude's like a hidden Gen Z. If you dig fun classes, take his! Group project was a breeze (seriously, the least stressful one in my 4 years). Noel totally guides you through it and is super chill.

Prof Gen does a good job of online! His online lectures are good and he stays for his office hours. I would take his class again. This is the third class I have taken with him BADM 335, BADM 204, BADM 302 and BADM 106 - way back when!

Ok lets be honest if you do the work and get his coaching Noel is great - way above average. He shows tons of examples for the Strategic Business Plan. His lecture are recorded so you can go over again. Not worry. He has tons of extra resources besides the ppt from the textbook companies (can't remember the textbook - something on Strategy)

Such a wonderful professor. I will definitely recommend students to take courses with this sophisticated man!!

Took BADM 204 with Prof Genoway this summer. The Reviews are right. He is amazing!

You are gonna love his class, He's not a strict grader, gives good feedbacks and keeps you involved

Took BADM 302 online with Noel. He is very good online and gives lots of practical examples of Human Resources!. He always responds to your emails and hold his office hrs right after class. Take is class!

Took BADM 204 online with Prof Genoway. He does a great job with this online class - Strategy. Take his class.......... he is great!

Took four classes with Noel so far (BADM 302, BADM 335, BADM 106 and BADM 218). He is a great Prof. He does care about his students and goes out of his way to help you with team projects and makes sure you get the material. Good Job. Take his class!

Had to comment on the dude that posted the poor review of Noel. He was in my team project and he was awful. He was taking 4 classes, working full time and put no effort into the Team Project. Prof N had to scold him numerous times because he was a slacker. I would never be in a team with this dude again.
