He uses Dr. Masterson's old tests, so get ahold of those. He is a summer teacher at USM.

Dr. Mann is the greatest professor ever. He is very kind and will help you if you need help in his free time. If you dont understand it he will talk with you until you do. I hope he will continue teaching because i know he helps alot of students.

Dr. Mann is an awesome teacher who is very approachable. Just pay attention and take notes and it will be crystal clear, I have a short attention span! Find something that interests you so that you can stay focused .

LOVE Prof. Mann. Friendly, approachable, and so willing to help. His grading scale is accommodating and reasonable. If you pay attention and have good study habits, there's no reason why you shouldn't do great in his class.

Dr. Mann knows his stuff! He's very helpful and wants you to make a good grade. He responds back quickly to all emails and will always be willing to help you understand the material better. The only bad thing I have to say is that he speeds up towards the end of the semester, so you dont have a lot of time to learn the material.

Dr. Mann is an amazing professor. He always makes himself clear and makes sure that his students know the material. The only thing students have to do is come to class and pay attention. Plus, he curves grades, gives lots of opportunities for extra points, and tells nerdy jokes. He has been my favorite professor by far. TAKE DR. MANN FOR O-CHEM!

Mr. Mann made the first semester of organic chemistry interesting and broke it down so it was very easy to understand. The class kept students very involved.

After already taking this class under a different professor, I found Dr. Mann's explanations to be much more clear and easier to understand. The subject material is not easy, but Dr. Mann sees it as his responsibility to help his students learn and grasp the concepts.

Dr. Mann is very helpful in Inorganic Chemistry 2. Dr. Mann explains the chemistry to the students in a way to make them understand better, and I really appreciate that. If a student needs help, he will tutor them until they understand the material. Also, Dr. Mann is very funny, so class is a little bit easier to get through.

Dr. Mann takes a potential train wreck of a class and does a wonderful job of making it make sense. Dr. Mann is a great professor. Chemistry is a very tough subject to begin with, but he explains everything very well and does his best not to talk over students' heads. He's also very willing to meet out of class if you are not understanding the material and often does helpful reviews in preparation for exams.

Dr. Mann takes a difficult subject and explains it in terms that I can understand. I've learned more in his Chemistry course than any other Chem class I've taken. He readily gives help to all students that need help grasping the information and also gives great notes and packets to ready us for future exams.

Dr. Mann is a teacher that truly wants you to learn organic chemistry. Attendance isn't mandatory, but you have to be there in order to pass the class. He uses his own workbook (instead of the textbook) that really explains things better; it makes chemistry much easier to understand.

He makes the material easy to understand and does not just read off of powerpoints and breeze through. His method of using worksheets for every chapter as well as using his own textbook definitely helped. I wish he taught at USM full time .

He makes sure to cover all concepts that will be tested on and does so by providing numerous examples with various ways to perform different reactions. Dr. Mann is a wonderful guy, and a great professor. I would recommend taking Organic 255 from him before 256 because i had not, and it left me feeling very confused throughout the entire semester. Also, I took the 8 week summer course, which was more challenging as well. Awesome guy, but be prepared to work for it.

Dr. Mann is a professor who aims to really teach his students to understand Organic Chemistry. He challenges his students, but he is more than willing to help outside of class if needed. He has a good sense of humor and shares a lot of funny stories about past experiences he has had throughout his time as a chemist.
