Very helpful and knowledgeable,the book is not really required if you buy it from the bookstore you get the access code to do the homework online,but you can buy just the access code online for $80 compared to $150 for the book in the bookstore plus you can access the book online and all the homework is online so you dont even really need the book

EXCELLENT TEACHER! One of the best math teachers you will find. Her classes fill up the day registration opens so be quick.Her tests are very similar to the practice tests, but she can throw a curve ball here and there but she is always willing to help. Don't hesitate to ask questions, she actually answers them and makes them easy to understand.

Passed with a B, even though math isn't my strongest subject. She was really easy to follow and made this fairly difficult subject easy to understand and fun. I would love to take MATH 70, 90, and 134 with her!!!

One of the nicest professors at the Campus. If you are in need of extra help in math, she will ALWAYS make time for you. I'm not too quick in math, but She is always willing to help and keeps a smile on her face. I took Math 20 with her and I?m taking Math 70 with her now. I would recommend her to anyone.

Hands down one of the best professors I have ever had the privilige to study under. I am a class clown and she is paitent and also tolerant. Math is a breeze with her. I suggest her to all willing to learn math.

I had this professor for a summer Math 20 class. The class was very intense, but it was the first time in history that i received an A in a math class. she is very consistent in her teaching. She teaches step by step every problem every time. DON'T MISS!!! if you miss one day, you miss a ton. she is very helpful, and answers all questions!

Great professor Class is easy as long as you show up and do the work. At the end of the semester she drops your lowest test and quiz score. She gives review sheets before the test and even spends a whole lecture going over the reviews the day before the test which helps ALOTShe genuinely cares and tries to help all her students. I highly recommend

Mrs. Rashid is a great teacher! It had been 24 years since my last math class but I was able to catch up quickly with Mrs. Rashid. She explains very thoroughly and shows every step on the board for every problem. I truly wish she was teaching math 90 next semester because I would take her class in a heartbeat.

I have been terrible at math my entire life and have been in tutoring multiple times. I took Noella during the summer for Math 90 and she is an exceptional teacher. She is extremely helpful and made math easy to understand. I ended up getting an A. I would HIGHLY suggest taking her class.

Greatest math teacher on campus. Took her for my math 70 over the summer (whole semester packed into 6 weeks) after failing 2 semesters in a row with other horrible professors and actually passed with a b! then failed 89 with another professor, so went back into her class the next semester and passed with a b again. Great Statistics professor. She was nice and would not move on until people said they understood. She always gave a extra credit question at the end of tests which was very helpful for me. She lets you bring a half page full of notes, front and back. Her reviews were about 75% of what was on the tests the rest would be off of the lecture notes.

MyMathLab is what she uses for quizzes and homework. She is more than willingly to help you during and after class.

she is super easy! she makes it all easy because of the calculator. Her exams are kinda hard. just study and put what you don't know on the page of notes she lets you have for the exam and your golden.. also don't expect extra credit or emails back from her and the quizzes are easy.. she lets you take it online and gives you 3 tries to get a 100%

Great teacher! Statistics intimidated me before taking her class. She takes all of the mystery and worry out of math and presents it in a way that is very easy to wrap your brain around. Expect homework, she drops one lowest homework & quiz scores. Highly recommended!

Noella is a great professor. Her course load is reasonable, and the pace of her lectures makes it easy to understand. I found the book to be mostly optional, as I've taken her for Math-90, as well as 121. All homework and quizzes you take are online through Mymathlab. She gives study guides for her exams. Not too harsh of a grader.

This was my 2nd time taking her. Her STATS class was tough, but she is a great teacher. She is really nice and her whole class is based off using calculator which is nice. She lets you use a half page of notes for exams, this helped BIG TIME. If you study hard you should pass the class. She does use mymathlab. Drops lowest quiz, HW and lab score.

Professor Rashid is the best professor I've had. I had her 7:50am class. Even though 7:50am is early, I was always looked forward to going to her class. She's funny, and her teaching skills are CLEAR. If you listen you WILL learn. She teaches only relevant material that students NEED! I was blessed to have her as a professor. I LEARNED A LOT!

I hated math before taking Professor Rashid's class; I just knew that I was going to fail! By the end of the semester I had learned more about math than I had in 12 years of grade school; I earned an A in math the first time ever! She is by far the best teacher I have ever had! I took Calculus with her. Her style is effective: great lectures, easy-to-understand presentation, helpful examples, frequent review, homework, and then testing. Make sure you show all work as she does give partial credit for valid attempts.

She seemed tired and under appreciated but I'm so happy to have taken all my math with her. I'll miss her because she's leaving MJC for Pasadena (lucky people) she deserves the best!

Great professor! She clearly knows the material and whatever she teaches is what is exactly on the test. Provides all the notes, teaches you how to use the calculator and does every single problem variation step-by-step. Highly recommend only downside is online homework, but I would take her again.

I'm glad I took Professor Rashid's class and was able to get in. I took my first math class with her during my first semester at MJC and four years later I was able to get into her class again.
