This was her first time being a professor, basically fresh out of college, so she was nervous when she taught. She made sure that every question was answered and that her lecture was on point and clear, which it was. She puts the notes online for each chapter, Extra credit, only 4 tests and gives you a review for each to make it impossible to fail

Doctor Crooks is such a sweet, down to earth person. There are PowerPoint presentations every class so it isn't wise to miss a day. Don't come late, study a lot from the notes and the book, and don't be shy to go to her office or ask her questions. Overall I loved her class and will take her again for a different Psychology course.

I lover her class. Lectures are clear and interesting. If you missed something you'll find it in the book with the help of her review sheets. Tests aren't hard. 2 papers to do in that class that are easy. She even gives extra credit. She's a God send!

Dr. Crooks is an excellent professor. I had her for General Psych and then again for Developmental Psych. She is sweet and very clear. A little bit shy and at times awkward but overall great. Tests aren't hard as long as you listen in class. I recomend to print the outlines. Overall she is great! TOTALLY RECOMMEND. DON'T DOUBT IT

Professor Crooks is the best teacher I have had so far. Her lessons were pretty clear; power points and reviews were online so it was hard impossible to fail. I would've passed the class with a 100% if it wasn't for my attendance(missed few dayslate) but i still can't complain. Take her, you won't regret it!

Tests are easy as hell! Exact questions from the review She gives you 2 weeks ahead before test. Study using flashcards. No homework at all just review your notes that's it. Great class! She's super helpful, and always has examples of principles she teaches. Tests are 35 multiple choice, 3 short response, and pretty easy. She really wants to help you understand.

One of my all time favorite teachers. She is very clear with her lectures and will answer any questions you have. She gives study guides for her test, and literally as long as you study whatever is on the study guide I assure you, you will get an A. I do not suggest skipping a class unless you want to learn out of a book which no one likes anyways

Professor Crooke is a great, understanding and friendly teacher! She makes the concepts easy to learn and makes power points whereby there is no need to read the thick book to pass the class but If you want to excel it then read the book to answer those 2-3 questions in the test that can boost your grade. She is so easy! All you gotta do is do 4 exams, gives the exact question from her study guides, gives extra credit, and only one paper due and 17 quizzes that you can cheat on . That's the whole class. Don't be scared, she really knows whats it like being a student. She even extends her due dates to 2 weeks because she knows students are busy.

Great teacher there are only 4 reflection paper, which consist of what you learned in class, and 4 exams. She uploads each exam study guide if you do your work, study for her exams, and look through the chapter outlines you should pass. There is a textbook for the class but she provides chapter outlines so you dont need it

Best prof I've had at BC so far. Lectures are great; knows what she's talking about. Posts study guides online for every test and outlines for every chapter. She always reminds about tests/papers. If you study the vocab, you should have no problem acing her tests. I even made Quizlets for vocab that she said she'll use in future classes. I<3CROOKS!

Definitely recommend this teacher. Her lectures are very informative and she gives great examples that explains the material. Tests are straight forward if you study the vocabulary and material. I loved Professor Crooks. She was the most easygoing and chill grader ever. Only thing I would say is that her lectures can get a bit boring sometimes as they are long, but some days they are easy. Professor is so sweet! No exams, so chapter projects instead. These are way better than whatever you're imagining in your head, most projects are very manageable and take less than an hour. Her class/lectures are very entertaining and always leave you with something to talk/think about. Definitely recommend for a light class you can enjoy.

She is very kind. She grades in sections, so you get about a month to do quizzes, a reflection paper (that can be informal), and a project ( has many options and they aren't hard). Attendance isn't mandatory but you do get points that go towards your final grade from it ( you can make up the points). Class energy is fun and relaxed.

She is SUPERIOR! I loved her so much! She's a kind, loving, and caring professor. There's no midterm or final for her class. You're graded on 3 simple and fun projects, 3 easy reflection papers, and 15 easy quizzes that are open notes. The only negative for me is that the lectures are very slow so if you're a fast-paced learner you're probably going to be bored with the lecture, she makes up for it by being funny though.

Professor Crooks is absolutely amazing! Her class is super chill and engaging, with little homework and no midterm or final. Lectures are informative and fun. unstuck study was a great study tool on top of the helpful class materials. Highly recommend!

I loved her! She doesn't give any exams, her assignments are easy and fun, and quizzes are straightforward. Her lectures are really fun as well. I can guarantee you that you will love her in the end

Dr. Crooks is one of the best professors I've ever had! She is so caring, fun and passionate in what she does. Her curriculum is simple and easy and her grading criteria is very clear. She is very helpful and will give grace. Class is upbeat and entertaining & I can guarantee you leave the class pondering about things you never thought of before.

This class was really enjoyable. The lectures are really good and engaging as well as funny. There are no exams, just chapter quizzes which are pretty easy. Over the course of the semester, you also have 3 papers and 3 projects that aren't hard at all. DEFINITELY TAKE THIS PROFESSOR.

She is so fun, passionate and caring. All her assignments are due in sections so for this class we only had 3 due date. You won't regret taking this class. TAKE IT!!!

Dr. Crooks was my professor during the Fall 2025 and Spring 2025 semesters. She is really kind and is accessible outside of class! There are 3 reflections and 3 projects for her classes. She also gives easy module quizzes. I recommend that students take her for PSY2012 and DEP2002! Easy classes to get an A in!

Dr. Crooks is a sweet, amazing professor who loves what she teaches and incorporates interesting stories with each topic. She is also willing to answer any questions you have about the course. Her class is very easy to pass so don't stress! It is an easy A if you complete all of the assignments with effort as there are no major assessments.
