She was so nice! Very helpful and very easy to get a good grade if you take notes and attend class. She can come off as hard at first, but she just wants to make sure we succeed.

I didn't like this class, it was interesting but I hated how our grade didn't contant alot of work. It was 2 or 4 journal assing.,1 research paper(6-8 pgs.),participation and attendance(Highly mandatory), and 3 tests. The tests were very confusing and you had to study for them alot!

She's a great professor! I definitley reccomend, she is fun and it's never dull. My class only had 3 exams. SO you must study. If you do your reading and studying, you will do well. One of my favorite teachers by far. She likes when you ask questions & vist her during office hours. TAKE HER!

GREAT teacher!!! Power points were very helpful. We never really used the book in class. Exams were a bit difficult but you will do good if you study. She allowed us to use a cheat sheet for one of the exams! :)

Extremely BORING. All she ever did was read powerpoints word-for-word. Never switched it up. Pretty easy as long as you read powerpoints before tests. Takes attendance randomly which lowered my grade. Would only recommend if you're looking for something straightforward & boring.

Great teacher! She was really sweet and made sure everyone understood what she was saying. She was great when it came to writing papers and was always willing to help you. She posted the power points for you to print so you could always have the info. If you have the chance to take her, do it. You will not regret it.

She gave great examples and was so helpful. She wasn't strict or rude. She acted like one of us and was very consistent about her attitude around us. She is funny, smart and the best teacher to have!

Nora is an awesome professor! She is so laid back & relatable; she holds you interest really well. If you're going to take a psych class definitely take one of hers

Such a good teacher. Lots of information that follows a note sheet almost exactly. Easy to study with notes. Only use book information if you miss a class to fill in missed notes. But go to class. Lecture from her is 100% better than the book. Recommended 100% to take this teacher.

took online course for her. read the chapters! use her notes as guideline for reading the chapters. she seriously has information that are not on her notes on her test which are HARD. She is very easy grader on essay! and if you take her online class make sure to check for hw on the Connect site because she WON'T remind you of it! good luck!

Awesome teacher. I loved her energy, which is what made the class so much fun and interesting. I usually dislike powerpoints if its an every day thing but I forgot about that since she was a fun teacher.

Absolutely loved her! She's hilarious and has a lot of energy, making class more enjoyable! Her class is really easy if you just show up and take written notes on the powerpoints, she does review games before her tests which makes it easy to pass her tests. I highly recommend her, you won't be bored and her often "F-bombs" will make you laugh!

I took Dr. B my first semester at CLC and I loved her class. Her lectures are very informative and helpful & will help you understand the subject. Loved Dr. B! She's amazing. Super funny, nice and chill. Very approachable. Makes class interactive and fun. Go to class and the rest is easy, very fair grader. Textbook was necessary only for online homework. Tests and projects fairly easy and she's usually ok with a few late days or tardiness so long as you get everything done.

Dr. B is cool. She makes class interesting. Very engaging. She's a fair grader but don't underestimate her tests. She's very approachable and laid back with deadlines. Class consists of a lot of power points but a few group exercises, movies, and discussion. Very funny, tells stories in class. Fairly Easy class so long as you get everything done.

I took her online course. It was very organized and fun. There are a few papers and many discussions that are important to your grade. There are reading quizzes for every chapter and she puts videos out that better explain the subject matter. Very smart and very nice person.

I took the class online. Everything was clearly explained and the due dates were given far in advance. There is a lot of work involved and reading. My class was late start so I had about 3 chapters to read and complete online activities for. There are 4 exams, all of which were fairly easy if you completed past work. Nora was incredibly helpful.

Dr. Benjamin, was awesome: she made lectures fun and she was very funny too. She is a fair grader and if you ask for help, she is more than happy to help you. She provides study guides for tests, so study the notes and study guides and you will do fine. Would definitely take another class with her. Take her and you will not regret it!

Mrs. Benjamin is one of my favorite teachers I have had at CLC. Very easy going and blunt about everything, she's really funny and nice too. She has this energy that makes everyone interested to learn and will explain until everyone understands. All assignments/tests are easy if you follow simple criteria. Easy grader, good feedback, remind etc! :)

I loved Dr. B's lectures and overall class presentation. The homework is not very complicated, but useful for tests. Great class, would definitely recommend!!!!!

Dr. Benjamin is probably the coolest teacher I've ever had, on any level. Her classes were so lively and fun and her lectures were very memorable. In a word, she is AWESOME. That being said, she expects a lot of the class, especially for chapter reviews and tests. Expect to spend a good amount of time studying.

Dr. Benjamin is very engaging and open. Great class discussions and she is able to get people to open up. She caring and funny. One of he best teachers I have had. She is willing to help. Highly recommend her class.

She is so nice!! She lays it all out there for you and posts the PowerPoints on Blackboard. Tests are take-home and written and you're given a whole week to use her posted PPs and the book to do it. Homework is light and not too hard. There was one group project that you are given a month to do. Great class, take her classes!!

Dr. Benjamin was entertaining as always, I always looked forward to a lecture. She does expect you to keep up with homework and reading assignments. Beware of her grade book as well, she updated mine the day of finals... As long as you keep up with the assignments and attend her lectures it will be an easy class overall.

Dr. B is great! It is nearly impossible to not pass this class with an A if you take her. She is absolutely caring and is willing to give you extensions with homework if you really need it. You will not regret having her as a professor.

Dr. B is a wonderful teacher! Sometimes reading material out of a textbook can be a little confusing when its not something I'm totally interested in, however Dr. B gives such great lectures that you can't help but be engaged and learn the material. She also gives a lot of extra credit opportunities online. I would highly recommend her.

Love Nora!!! Such a sweetheart and no matter what learning style you have, she is so accomidating. I took her class in person and online and loved each of them. She had clear critera and I got an A with basic studing, nothing crazy at all! Loved her and i highly reccommend especially for new college students.

Dr. B is a phenomenal teacher, but her material and lectures are extremely heavy. You really need to study your notes like every day to get good test grades. She makes class very fun and takes students feedback to help us understand the material but her class is hard.

Had her for my first semester, made Psychology really fun and interesting to learn about. 100% sure am going to be majoring in Psych. Her lectures are amazing, she responds very well to emails and papers. Maybe two homework assignments were given, all exams are questions and at home. No quizzes as well. Would beyond recommend taking!

Mrs. Benjamin was easy to work with! Her syllabus was very clear, along with all her assignments & essays. Gives you enough time to turn in your work. Also very understanding if you hand in an assignment late, was always accessible through email! I highly recommend!!

Best teacher I had

This was my first time taking psychology and working with her was amazing very clear lectures study your vocabulary and you will do great!! She offers extra credit as well!

I took her online anytime class over the summer (6 weeks) and although it was fast paced it was very easy to keep up with. Each chapter we went over she included video lectures from previous classes, the PowerPoint she was going over in said videos, and additional content to further explain topics. One of the best online classes I have taken so far

Dr. B was by far one of my favorite professors here at CLC! She is so kind, funny, and respectful. Her lectures were always well organized and the material she teaches is straightforward. Even though she didn't require perfect attendance, students still need to put in the effort for this class. Overall, I definitely recommend her!

Such a nice, funny, and engaged professor. There was a lot of times where work involved getting into groups or talking with the peers around you but honestly made me socialize more. There is a lot of assignments but easy work if you put the effort and time into them. Final was simple and she gave us opportunities to get our grades up.

Dr. B is amazing! Truly cares about her students and the lectures were interesting and fun. Lots of reading and assignments, but late work is accepted with points taken off. Make sure to start reading early, or it'll drown you later! THE FINAL WAS THE ONLY TEST; and it was multiple choice! Easy class as long as you do the work and stay caught up!

Dr. Benjamin was such a fun class to have first thing in the morning. My class was very quiet and tired, but she stayed theatrical, often telling wild stories from her personal life. Most of the class is note taking, but if you stay on track, it's so easy. I wish I could tell her how much I appreciate her energy and passion.
