Whatever you know she sucks.

The homework was nothing like it was on the tests. The tests were nearly impossible and were inconvenient to go into the testing center on campus to take them.

Probably the worst and most stressful class I've ever taken. Her lectures are absolutely awful and her voice makes it even worse. The homework and learnsmarts aren't too bad but when it comes to the exams, its game over. The homework has nothing to do with the exam. Just don't take her. Find an alternative.

Nora is one of the worst professors at Ucf , unfortunately she's the only one there that teaches Macro, so you have no choice. Her tests are very difficult and the final didn't even make sense! her average grade on the final was a 56. Her lectures are boring, her voice is monotone so lectures are even harder to sit through. Good luck

Literally one of the worst professors I've ever had! She doesn't really prepare you for what is on her test and they are HARD! She rambles on about nothing and talks about things that aren't even going to be on the test. She's the only one that teaches macro so you can't escape her but be prepared to probably have to take the class twice. She sucks

Only macro professor at ucf, if this class isn't mandatory for you I highly suggest taking micro with Scrogin. Professor U does give extra credit & the homework (although is VERY time consuming) is difficult yet doable, but her test are RIDICULOUS. Nothing like the homeworks or test reviews. Average on all exams was a 60. TERRIBLE FINAL AS WELL

This is the hardest course I've taken at UCF and made me switch my major from business. Extremely test heavy and the way the tests are worded are completely different than any study material you're given or anything you learn in class. I got a minimum of a 90% on everything except the tests and was still lucky to pass. Avoid at all costs if you can

Avoid at All cost!!!!!!!!Extremely hard and stressful. Once you see how hard the syllabus quiz is drop this class immediately. Again try and avoid this class at all cost!!! She doesn't really teach . Again avoid at all cost

The worst class i ever taken at UCF! You can study 142 questions from the exams, quizzes, and homework and still fail her final exam. you have to teach yourself everything and the way the exams are worded makes it super impossible to understand exactly what the question is asking. DO NOT TAKE, SAVE YOURSELF THE MONEY AND TIME.

WHERE DO I START? This class was the class from hell. This lady is impossible to understand. You can study everything that she gives you and when it comes to the exam NOTHING is like what you studied. Its almost like different people are making her exams. You teach yourself everything practically. AVOID AT ALL COST. Take Micro instead if you can.

I had the "mixed mode" version of the class, meaning 99% of it is online so I basically taught myself. The class is not formatted well at all, and the professor really doesn't seem to understand what she needs to do to help the students. She tries at least, but the class itself is terrible. Difficult exams and quizzes too.

This was by far the worst class I've taken in my entire life. She is no help whatsoever, not easily accessible and doesn't care about her students. She purposely words the questions on the tests to be confusing. You teach yourself everything in this class. When she posts videos of the powerpoints she literally reads them word for word with no more.

The worst class I have ever taken. It's labeled as a "lecture" class, but it's basically 99% online. The other 1% is the five or so in-person meetings that don't even help, you just do work. The professor is nice, but it feels like she goes out of her way to make the class as difficult as possible, and it's completely unnecessary.

I would NEVER EVER take this class again. The professor is terrible and does not provide much help. The class is supposed to be a hybrid class but you only meet once every 2 weeks and she doesn't teach you just do a class activity. You teach yourself. On the quizzes she gives you 5 tries which seems like a lot, however you can't see your answers.

Based on the rating she received, I still decided to take her class and regret it every bit. Teaching is clearly NOT her thing. This class is self-taught, literally. She was not helpful at all even prior to the pandemic. Your homework is not even close to what is on the quizzes and exams. I advise you all to not take her class.

Absolutely terrible class. The textbook is extremely vague and no help whatsoever. Gives WAY too many assignments in a week, Im talking 4 chapters, 4 HWs, a quiz, an exam, and a discussion post. Gives multiple attempts for each HW question but averages scores on each attempt so u are penalized for trying to perfect things and practice. Ridiculous.

If you want to pass this class, you really do need to put effort into reading the textbook and doing homework without Chegg or Quizlet. It's pretty much self-taught, and her PowerPoint lectures used very simplified examples, and then when you go to take the quiz it's like two steps ahead of what she taught you. I would recommend another professor.

This class showed me how much UCF cares about its students. Gives one day and a specific time period to take the exam, doesn't care about how Covid has impacted people. I have had higher level classes that gave a weekend to do an exam, this class gave from 9 to 10:30 every tuesday, no matter what. Homework's aren't hard but this class is trash.

Do not under any circumstances take this professor for economics. Unless you plan to learn the entire content of this class completely by yourself and struggle the entire semester to do good, do not take this class. For this class, you must read everything by yourself. As classes stay online for covid, this professor is terrible. NO LECTURES AT ALL

would not recommend taking her class for economics at all unless you want minimal communication and basically to be your own professor. i definitely do not understand that point of teaching a class if youre just going to require an expensive program that does all the grading for you. assignments are confusing and she throws in random discussions.

She is very specific on her math problems and so if you're rounding isn't exactly like hers, it'll be marked wrong. You can't see what you got wrong on your tests unless you personally email her or express your grievances on the discussion board. Overall, the class sucked and if you have to take it, take with anyone else but her.

I took this class as a degree fulfillment requirement with intentions of earning a good grade given the fact I had taken Macro and Micro economics earning an A+ in both. I soon found that this class is in fact not only self taught but also a complete waste of time. This professor will give you homework that does not prepare you whatsoever.

I'm in this professors class right now and it's honestly the worst class I've ever taken. Idk if I just cant understand macroeconomics or if this teacher is just too confusing. You have to learn things from the textbook AND her modules on webcourses and you teach yourself, it is impossible to do good. Don't take this class if you don't have to!

It's a difficult course but she does nothing to make it more manageable. We met 6 times the semester every two weeks. Each class you sit with your group and work on about 2-3 pages worth of material which will be graded, but she only grades ONE person's paper and that's everyone's grade. For the entire course you have to teach yourself and use TAs.

Professor Underwood was easily a professor who did not care about her students what so ever. For the past two years after the final has been taken she puts in the grade the day that grade is due. She gives no remorse to any student.

The class set-up is awful. There are meetings every other week where you do busy work the entire time. You can't see what you did wrong on the tests. You get two attempts but are not able to see what you did wrong and what you need to change. Homework is graded on an average from 3 attempts. Packback assignments are so pointless and take so long.

This professor has to be one of the most out of touch professors there is. The mandatory class meetings are honestly a waste of time as they provide little to nothing for the up coming tests. The test and Quizzes do not allow you to see what you did wrong or show you the right answers. And the whole course is a mess. She is the only Macro Professor

This class wasn't related to my major, but I received a B+ when she said the average passing grade was a C. I suggest EVERYONE take this class at Valencia College (ask your advisor for transient), not just because of your GPA, but also because this class will affect your mental health. She is the only professor that teaches this. AVOID AT ALL COST.

This was the worst professor I have ever had. Her material was unclear and since she didn't use a book, it made it even harder to understand the material. What she had in her lectures were not at all what she had on the tests. She even said that, and her reasoning was because she wanted us to "think". The class average on tests was a D. Terrible.

Actually awful. You have to teach yourself everything. She has videos and modules to help you learn but the videos are insufferable and will make you rather fail than have to sit through them and listen to her voice. Classes are mandatory and the worksheets are harshly graded. Even though TA's tell you you're good, you will somehow still get a 70.

This professor is condescending and brags about her lower passing rates as if its some sort of trophy. Her syllabus reads "you arent teaching yourself because I provide you with materials". THIS IS NOT TEACHING. She does NOT teach her students. The content is not super difficult to grasp, but Nora formats it in a way that sets you up for failure.

Just no. Professor Underwood's execution of her videos are just so boring, that you'd rather just fail. She doesn't even attempt to make it enjoyable to learn the material. On top of that, the mandatory classes include a packet of just busy work that does absolutely nothing for you. I don't think there's another macro teacher though so good luck

This professor was awful. She answers very bluntly and does not care to help. Her class assignments are so difficult. Overall would not recommend.

She made my first semester at UCF a terrible experience, especially since I had her for Macro and QMB at the same time. She is extremely inconsiderate, and gives very little resources for success. The thing I disliked the most was she would not provide the correct answers for tests and quizzes, so I had no idea what I was doing wrong.

0/10. This is the worst class I have taken in my life. I spent 3 hours per homework assignment reading, rereading, watching her videos, and taking notes and I still didn't learn or retain enough information to do well on quizzes & tests. Professor is useless. Email her for help and she'll say "Reach out to my TAs." Once you do, they're unavailable.

Take it at Valencia

I thought I knew economics until I walked into her class. Mandatory classes were terrible she would ramble for 30 minutes and then give such a lengthy assignment in not a lot of time. It is very obvious that she wants this class to be very demanding, and she wants students to spend long hours trying to understand all the concepts.

Lectures isn't enough and midterm/exams are way different from the actual quizzes given in the class.
