She is not that bad. You have to do her work and she is helpful sometimes. She gives time to anyone who pass by her office. she only give two test: midterm and finals. YOu also have to do her work by the due date. But you do have to study or read the book for midterm and finals

very pleasant but uptight teacher, gives you 10 min after the start of class to get there otherwise stay home she will kick you out before you sit down. she uses the whole textbook so be prepared to read the whole thing when you buy it and its big, lots of work and a reasearch paper but the hard working will get through it ok class but not the best

Very comprehensive and vey clear material. The class is really easy, you just have to make sure you have time to read, basically you will have to read the whole book because the midterm and final have is about all the chapters. She is very reasonable and helpful. I took PSY2012 and DEP2004 with this teacher. I really like her.

I took Norda Hernandez for PSY2012 online section. The class was easy. Do your discussions and weekly exams and you should do just fine. She even gave an extra credit discussion assignment. I would definitely recommend her. Very satisfied with her.

Took online section and was pleased. 16 chapter tests, 4 discussions, & 2 EC discussions. All chapter tests were available from day so you can work at your own pace. The test questions were a little challenging but you have 2 attempts. Gives a review for midterm and final. If you do all the work and EC, there is no reason you shouldn't get an A.

Recommend her! Basically you do 4 discussions which are like two paragraphs each, one paper, mid term and final. In my class she gave almost 40 points extra credit. She gives a review also. Loved her but i hated that she took attendance

I took this course online and it was an easy A. She gives 16 quizzes (w/ 2 attempts), 4 disc, one paper on what you've learned from the course,an extra credit disc,and a midterm n final. All the quizzes were open so you had the opportunity to complete early. There's no reason why you should get anything less than an A.

I hated this class! She read from the slides and that's it. Waste of my time I could do that at home. I could an A but still. Just a midterm and a final online open book and notes. Attendance for her is mandatory but I hardly went and I still got an A. Easy class but a waste of time :(

Without a doubt, the easiest professor and the easiest class I've taken in college so far and probably will ever take. She does her Powerpoint presentations everyday, she gives a few assignments (mostly discussions on the Blackboard)and she has two test (midterm and final). Easy A!

The class is not a bad class, but the book does not have most of what she has on her quiz. the worst part you cannot skip a question and go back and 100 midterm question in 120mins. you have to know the whole 10 chap to pass. The questions you cannot find in the book. Even though it is a open book, the questions are very very hard.

Mrs. Hernandez was a fabulous teacher. Her class is all discussion and lecture based. You are required to write online discussions, one 1500 word essay, & the midteram & final are ALL online! She also lets you take 6 online extra credit quizzes. She is sweet and helpful ! Take her... hello all tests are online!

There is NO POSSIBLE way to fail this class. Out of every class i took this semester, this was the least stressful. Extra credit quizzes and an extra credit discussion. All are discussed in class. I highly reccommend her. She is very sweet and if you fail the class it's your own fault!

Its literally impossible to fail the class. Do all the extra credit quizzes and all your work and no matter how loew your grades are you will still get an A because of all the extra credit quizes. She cares about her students and is extremely sweet! EASY A!

She is a great professor and very flexible. 120 points of extra credit which is the quizzes online but you have to read the book to get a good grade on them. I didn't have to take the final because I did all of the quizzes that were extra credit. Easy A. I would recommend. She is very nice and her work is easy. Just don't slack off.

OMG the easiest class you will take. All you have is on paper and two discussions. She gives sooooooo much extra credit and the final and midterms she adds ten points no matter what you get. She is strict about cellphone and electronics, don't use them. She is super nice and sweet!

This class is really easy if you read the chapters! Quizzes are easy cause you can use the book and the paper is easy also. Professor Hernandez curved both the midterm and the final exam. I got an 85% on the final and she curved the grade so I ended up with a 100% on the final!! Take this course and this professor!

I have taken Dr. Hernandez for 2 semesters and is one of the greatest Professors I have had. She lectures for students to understand and is more than willing to repeat herself or aid in anyway to help students to understand. She's always open to students and value their opinion. I had Dr. Hernandez for a blended class. She is the best professor yet at BC. Only test we had was a Midterm and Final. We also had a paper and 2 discussions. She always tries to find ways for you to pass her class. She also gives a lot of extra credit. You'll have no regrets taking her. She's the nicest professor and she grades fairly.

First class I've taken online. Very fair grading. You will get a midterm and final. Several discussion assignments, quizzes. You can work ahead but don't submit anything late or it's a 0. Mandatory term paper. Just don't plagiarize. Discussions very interesting. I felt that I interacted more than in a classroom setting.

I just took my final for this class for summer session 2 ONLINE. Class is very easy. Just do your work, guarantee A. She gives 5 discussions (3 paragraphs, 6full sentences), 6 quizzes, 1 midterm, 1 final exam and 1 reflection paper 1500 words. That's it! E-mail her if you're miss an assignment. She's very understand. Highly recommend her.

I took her online Developmental Psychology class during the summer term. There are about 4 discussions that you have to participate in and about 6 unit exams. As long as you read your textbook, you should be fine. You can take your exams at home and she gives plenty of time to get assignments done. Take her class.

She has heavy Spanish accent, her classes are mainly watching videos and discussions. I wouldn't say she goes in-depth with the topics but the textbook and her power-points are a big help. She's super nice and willing to answer your questions. Didn't have many tests, just the midterm and final and lots of opportunities to get a good grade, EASY A!

So the midterm and final are online (awesome right?), unfortunately i missed my final and emailed her 3 days after the due date begging for extra credit and guess what... she considered my request and instead of extra credit she reopened MY FINAL.

Dr. Hernandez is by far the easiest class Ive ever taken. This class was a session 3 course meaning its only 12 weeks long and I missed 4 days out of that when when only see her like 20 times. And I got an A. Theres nothing to study. Theres only two test final and midterm. Literally Id take the class just get an A and raise my gpa

I then went to my counselor and found out that I could take PSY2012 (elective) and was excited about this info! I then took her for this class and she was just as expected. This is probably the easiest class Ive ever taken. Do your work and youll pass. She also gives extensions to do missed work and exempts students from taking them exams if you have all As and no absence in the class. Ive got As on all 3 papers and the two projects as well. Passed my midterms with an A and didnt have to take the finals.

This class was very easy. Everything was online and she gives accommodations if you earn 100% on everything (which is super easy to do). the only thing really is that you have to show up for class in person for attendance. Other than that everything is good and Professor Hernandez is very sweet.

Awesome! So sweet and kind, you can tell she actually cares about her students. She lectures, shows videos, there is a group project. No phones at all, her main rule. She encourages conversation about the topics being taught not only with her but between classmates. Homework is on connect lots of reading, due every other week or so.

Please just do yourself a favor and take this professor! She is amazing, yes it is material heavy but it is easy, you must be lazy to not pass this class. No tests, quizzes, discussions, and writing assignment for all 8 units due about every other week. She is a pretty fair grader, only got A's so far, so do all the assignments and you'll pass.

Multiple assignments each week but they are usually very simple and are opened in advance so there is plenty of time. She reopened assignments multiple times for us throughout the semester for full credit to make sure everyone was passing. The final was an option between an exam and a paper which was great based on your preference.

Professor Norda Hernandez always does such an interesting lectures and discussions. The class is not hard, all homework assignments are online. Professor Hernandez wasn't a bad professor but she definitely did take her time to answer emails. I did this course fully online and the work wasn't hard nor were the tests. Only thing I will say is to make sure you do the work ahead of time and you will be perfect! Also just communicate with her if you need an extension on work.

I really enjoyed Professor Hernandez's General Psychology class. She is such an awesome professor, and I am proud to say that I earned an A in her class. Even though the class was strictly online, I still learned a whole bunch of different things about Psychology that I never knew before. Since Psychology is my B.S major, I knew I had to ACE it!

Lectures are very thorough, homework and tests are manageable, and the heaviest assignment is just a reflection paper based on a prompt. She does assign group projects so I suggest that if you are taking blended or online classes that you check in with her to make sure you have the right information about which group you are in bc it gets messy
