I loved her class, got good grades on the essays because she helps you revise them to near perfect...highly recommended!

This is one great teacher. She really sets the groundwork for you to learn and excel. She's clear and firm in what is required, but willing to go out of her way to assist. Lots of hard work, but the grade you get is the one you earned!

Very nice and laid back teacher. Fairly easy. The only major gripe I have is that I attended almost every class (more than the others), got full credit on everything, yet I got an A-. What gives?

She is a really cool and down to earth teacher. She has 2 teenage daughters so shes understands her students. She doesn't give too much work. If you keep up with the work she assigns you'll pass easily. No Midterm or Final! She's also really helpful with helping you write your essays. Take her!

I took Freshman Comp with Professor Lace and it was one of the classes I enjoyed the most. It was a great refresher course in writing. She has a great personality and as long as you get your work done you'll do fine.

Prof. Lace is one of the nicest and easiest professors at CSUN. Only 3 essays and 2 timed essays. Easy A!!

She is great. She is not hard at all. Hardly any reading assignments. 3 essays, 2 in class essays. She is always joking around and understanding. She will seem tough at first but really she's not. And she gives really good advice on writing. She lets you rewerite essays and you can still earn 100 %.

Very knowledgable and helpful, she tries to help her students achieve the best. I think she was a wonderful teacher. Oh, and she gave us a lot of days (especially Fridays) off.

She brings a creative perspective to writing. Not much reading-3 essays, 2 in class and 2 presentations. Not much time is spent on the WPE prep-3 class periods, so consider taking someone else if you're looking for this emphasise.

shes a really chill teacher, there are a couple essays but theyre easy. we read two books which were simple and entertaining. if you have to take this class i hope your lucky enough to be put in her class. trust me. its simple.

The best teacher I've had at CSUN. she is so chill, and very understanding. Her assignments are very easy, and her classes get out early a lot. She will cancel class in advanced if you ask her to. Sometimes she doesn't feel like going to class, so she will email you and cancel it. really really awesome person and an easy A... or B if you are lazy

Shez one of the best teachers i have ever had at CSUN. She doesn't waste your time. There were a lot of times that we just turned something in and were dismissed bc she had nothing to assign us. She doesn't give homework other than a few essays for the entire semester. TAKE THIS PROFESSOR!!! I can't tell you enough.

This class is very challenging, she provides a lot of work, but it is very helpful. Everything she teaches is relevant and we can apply it to other classes.

Okay so do your work and you'll be fine. The work is given on webct, and the workload is reasonable. This wasn't an easy A but if you try you will get an A.

She's a good teacher overall. You must turn in every essay. The work is a lot at first but it's not too bad.

Professor lace is the best. I got an A in the course. There is a lot of work, but she will let you turn it in late.If your having trouble go talk to her, or email her. She will respond to all your emails. For the people that do not like her its probably because they did not pay attention. She does not mind repeating herself. So just take her.

Very easy going and has a sense of humor. Nice and lets us out early. However, requires large amounts of reading and grades essays VERY tediously. Going to office hours and doing EXACTLY what she says guarantees an A. I may have failed without doing that. Other problem is she is a bit lazy with grading. Took her 3 months to grade first essay!

I love Mrs. Lace she is a really cool person, but she gives way too much homework. 5 essays due in one week! at least 3 hours of homework a night, and most of the work is busy pointless work. Avoid her.

She knows what she's talking about and has a great sense of humor but she assigns a lot of busywork that isn't really helpful to furthering understanding - it just takes up time that could be better spent on other activities.

shes easy do the work. its honestly easy answers like abc and 123 do the work and the projects there ok and you will be set i got an a with no effort at all.

She is a good professor although she has witty jokes that may come across as rude. She tries to keep the class engaged and relatable. I enjoyed it as I enjoy writing. Although she may be a bit unorganized she can grade fairly quickly. Lots of in class group work. I'd take her again.

Professor Lace was the easiest english teacher I've ever had. We only had to do 3 essays for the entire semester. We didn't have a final, just watched a funny movie and ate breakfast that she brought us. Highly recommend her for an easy A as long as you attend class and do your best. She's very helpful and she doesn't grade harsh at all.

Professor Lace is VERY STRICT about attendance and being ON TIME! She had different teaching methods that made the class more interesting and is very clear about what she expects. If you haven't already taken the UDWPE this class will help you prepare for it!

She is truly a great teacher. She was very helpful and always available during office hours. She even let me rewrite an entire essay to help my grade. 3 essays, no exams and no final. There is a final project though, but it's based off your previous essays. Strict on attendance, but I was still absent a few times and did fine. Just don't be late!

I really enjoyed this class and I really became a better writer by taking this class. You only write three essays in this class, which are very easy. Attendance is important in this class so be on time or she will kick you out. Other than that she is a very funny and great professor. We didn't even have a final.

She made my spring semester. We had positive thinking exercises and most of the assignments were fun . Some were just so-so

Ladies and gentlemen professor Lace is great! Since the beginning of the semester she says what she expects from students be to class on time and do your work. Common sense participate and do the assignments and your golden. There are no surprises she is open and honest. She made the class fun and interesting :)

As long as you do not have an issue with going to class and being on time she is great! If you know you are going to be late be smart enough to not try and interrupt her class because she will kick you out. Then see her either after class or at her office hours to explain. She is very open minded. Such a great class for open discussion.

She is the absolute best! At first she seemed intimidating but throughout the rest of the semester she was awesome. You learn a lot from her lectures and peer review sessions. She honestly cares about her students and if you need any help she's willing to help! I recommend taking english 306 with her you will not be disappointed, just do be late!

Super chill if you are a good student it should be an easy pass. She is very in to her job and likes to interact with her students. If I could I'd be friends with her too bad I'm way younger and that's prob weird.

She's a great teacher! Honestly learned a lot from her class. Stay focused from the beginning of the semester and you'll be good! She does take attendance very serious! So always make sure to go early. If you're late even by 2 minutes don't bother going in she will kick you out. Went to her office hours and she's a very understanding professor

Lace Noreen is an amazing professor. Get ready to write a lot but you will learn a lot as well. She is vary helpful and always ready to answer to your queations. Lots of group work but its not hard at all. She is very intelligent and makes the class fun and easy. I would like to take her for other English calsess as well.

I took English 306 with her and she is a wonderful professor. You must attend each class and participate. One assignment per week and a long report at the end. She makes sure everyone understands everything and gives great feed back. Take her! She loves what she does and it shows !

The best english professor at CSUN! Has her rules and you must follow precisely to do well. If you follow and do all of the assignments it's a guaranteed A. 1 group project that was challenging. The rest is papers. Just go to class, listen carefully and PARTICIPATE and you're good.

She has been nothing but amazing, has really worked hard to really instill great qualities in us. I have never had a Professor really teach you how to be a professional, she takes pride in making you grow!!! If I could take this class again, I definitely would.

i loved professor Lace. She is such an amazing teacher i highly recommend this teacher. She gives really good extra credit. If you just follow her rules, show up to class ON TIME, and turn in your assignments you will pass. She is very approachable and is willing to help you. She will grade every assignment before you need to turn it in.

Hands down my favorite professor at CSUN. She cares about her students so much. Only thing you should never do in her class is be absent (read syllables to see why). Otherwise show up do what is asked of you if you need help go to office hours. She proof reads it before you turn it in. I wish every teacher at CSUN was like her!!

She's nice and easy going. Go to class because class discussions are important, but also enjoyable. Also don't be late because she won't allow you in class. There is a lot of reading, and assignments about the reading, but they aren't difficult. Essays aren't bad either. Tests are easy too!

Class was so easy. Watched movies and read some good stories. Pre-school stuff nothing too challenging. Professor Lace is chill. I do not know what else to say. Class was way too easy.. I ate a lot in the class, took naps, I texted ALOT in the class, watched movies on my IPAD when we were watching movies in class, I killed a spider once, did work

Professor Lace is a pretty straight forward professor. Show up to class and be on time or else she'll deduct points and you won't pass. Her assignments are pretty easy mainly because of the peer reviews done in class. There's no reason anyone should fail her class. Ask questions, use the book and you'll have an A at the end of the semester.

Turn in all your work and do the peer reviews in class and you'll get an A. 10 page report paper for the final. Easy, nice, understanding. First impression was as if she was stuck up and snobby but she's actually really not...

She really cares about her students. As long as you put a little effort into the class you will get an A and I can honestly say that I've learned a lot from her and I think she's amazing at what she does and really cares for her students. 3 essays, read and summarize, discussions and project is pretty much the whole class you just have to show up.

English 306 is an easy upper division GE if you take with Professor Lace. Weekly homework assignments, but nothing difficult. Professor Lace is very caring and wants you to succeed. Just don't use your cell phones in class and come to class everyday and you should have no problem getting an A.

Easy class but you learn a lot.

There was no option for ENG 355, but that's the class I took with her. Noreen is amazing! She is very upbeat, funny, and cares about her students. She gives great feedback, will help with any assignment you need help with, and is very excited to teach! There is a good amount of homework for her course, but not too crazy. Be there & put in effort.

Shes very considerate and kind. She only get understandably angry when students disrespect her.

I can confidently say that Professor Lace has been my most favorite English professor at CSUN. The passion and positivity that this lady exuberates made me want to show up to her classes every single day. I took her for both 355 and 306 and will be taking her for 463B this coming fall. Professor Lace, if you seen this, you are the best!

Shes a cool professor, she just exaggerates way too much coming to class on time. If youre one minute late she wont even let you in which is ridiculous. However , she wants to see you succeed, and does the best to make the class fun. Dont take her if you are sensitive cause she throws shade lol

Prof Lace is one of the nicest professors to grace CSUN. She genuinely cares about how you are doing and what your thoughts on the readings are. The readings were diverse in subject matter and she allowed room for lots of discussion. Her assignments are pretty simple and essays weren't too hard. Was my fave class of the semester, I highly recommend

Professor Lace was an amazing professor! I would give her a 5/5 except for the fact that she did not always provide enough descriptions for certain assignments, but she is available outside of class for clarifications. Also, she had us watch a random, unrelated movie one class? Thankfully, she is respectful, accommodating, and made the class fun!

Although she may seem tough on the first day, she really is just preparing you for what is too come. She provides you with examples and great feedback. As long as you remain on top of your assignments and attempt them to the best of your ability you will succeed. Also don't arrive late!

Professor Lace is an amazing teacher. She is so caring about her students and the workload for her class was SO manageable it was amazing. This was my favorite and easiest class I took this semester. I barely had homework for this class and she offers a good amount of extra credit. My grade for more than half of the semester was over 100%!!

For ENGL 215, Prof Lace is GREAT! There's barely any busy work, and the second half of your semester is centered around one final essay (4 pages long) & isn't hard to get an 100% on. She gives tons of extra credit. I never had to stress over this class. As long as you pay attention & don't miss assignments, it's an easy A! Great for non eng majors!

Professor Lace is really nice. Her class can be a bit confusing when it come to the way it is with homework with online learning. She offer more points for homework so students can have a good grade. The final is a argumentative essay. She get mad if you don't pay attention sometimes. She is a good professor to take for the course.

She was very caring and made the class fun! She always brought us chocolate and loves to talk. My only issue was her assignments were due at 8pm and if were late you'd lose 5 points every 30 minutes. If you did not attend class you'd lose about 10-15 points. She does offer extra credit. Honestly if you do the work you'll get an A.

Took Professor Lace, Spring semester and she was great although she isn't accessible after class doesn't answer questions through canvas. Her assignments were easy, straightforward, and understandable. You will be reading short stories and articles. Overall, you will do a couple of summary and responses and 3 essays. NO QUIZZES OR TESTS!

Her class is so dynamic, she has such a good energy and the assignments are easy to complete.

Professor Lace is honestly one of my favorite professors that I had so far and it is pretty difficult to cross that in my opinion. It may be different for other people, but to me, she was understanding and did not assign a lot of Canvas work. A lot of the assignments are in person, and group discussions so you can receive full credit by pulling up.
