She is really cool, really easy, and gives you second chances so you can actually learn from your mistakes. She has really interesting conversations in class where it is easy to participate. She might try to look tough in the beginnig but she is realy helpfull and understanding.

OMG... if there wasn't any easier class than this.. I would've sworn I was in pre-school... Explains material with ease...very thoughtful, allows you to re-do term papers so you can perfect them... if you don't get an A in this class... you need to go back to Eng. 28...

seriously, this teacher is amazing. no questions, no ifs, ands, or buts. if you're taking a whole load of classes and you want at least one of them to be easy, take her for english 101. literally, the easiest A you can get. if not, then you belong back in english 28.

great teacher. when you turn in your essay, she fixes all of ur errors and let you rewrite the essay. this way you always learn your mistakes, and get a good grade that motivates you to do better. TAKE HER... YOU WON'T REGRET IT.

She's a very nice teacher.She does let you redo your essays if she thinks that there some more to be done..No test, no quizzes all but essays..Take her class you'll learn how to do different type of essays

lol, um she was def. the easiest teacher i've ever tooken, but def not the most productive. I think my class only did two essays and one research paper for a final. She gives extra credit. She's very understanding. AND shes an easy A.

her online class is really easy. just do all your work! easy A. shes very sweet lady. not a hard grader at all. if you have any questions about technique on writing you should refer to your MLR book it is self explanatory and if you are still questioning your own work go to the writing lab and they can provide good feedback if needed.

She is very easy...I did nothing in this class and I got an A. Just do the essays and if u get a poor grade she will let u re-due it...shes great!

I thought she was a very nice lady. Put some effort into writing your essays, and you'll do great. HW assignments were done on coursecompass and were very easy. She's always willing to answer questions and help you to become a better writer.

this class rocks! Very easy "A". I really mean it! Just do the few essays she assign-you will be fine. Let us go early whenever she was present! learnt a lot.

If you learn the best in non-stressing environment and you are intellegent enough, she is the best. I still keep textbooks cause they are helpfull, they are not waisting of money like many-many others

This lady was in her own little world. I took her for a summer section. She would always flake, and she always let out us like 1 or 2 hours early. We would be in class sometimes for about 30 minutes, which was great for a summer class. She's really easy.But of course she forgot to turn in my grade, and I couldnt be added to my next eng. class!

This class was definitely one of the more simple at pierce. She's a great teacher, always let us out early.. gave us plenty of days off and it was a summer session! About 3 in class essays, and 3 out of class.. not a class if you are seriously trying to learn english... if you want an A and dont care to learn much, you're in the right place :)

Very cool teacher. She's laid back and has a very good sense of humor(to me). She lets the class go early a lot(summer session). She breaks down the material down to the roots if you ask her questions. Easy A in the class! Let's you re-do essays. Take her if you need the transfer credits. :D

This class reminds me of my good days during kindergarten .The class is so very extremely easy. TAKE HER AND YOU ARE GOING TO LOVE IT.

I took Professor English 101 online class. Best English 101 Professor. Only 5 class meetings on campus. All the homework is due online and pretty easy. I would definitely reccomend this professor, she is great.

Summer session.. homework almost every night - except when the essay is due. Not as easy as everyone says, but she's pretty nice unless you miss too many classes or don't do the work.

summer session...super nice teacher...just do the essay and citation the way she asks and you will succeed in class...always be on time and try not to miss to many days...i got an "A" in the class...i love prof lace she is cool and a great person to talk to...i wish she taught 102 or 103 instead of the other sucky professors.LOL...

She is a great teacher. Very helpful! always corrects essays and gives you the chance to re-write them for full credit. Lets you know where are your mistakes and will give you credit even if you at least try. She is a very cool teacher.

Awesome Teacher! Super Chill. Only two assignments a week, textbook required but it cost me like 10 bucks. Definitely worthwhile!

Honestly I got an A in her class, though she doesn't always clarify if you go to her she will be more than happy to help you. I loved her class she helped us to be comfortable with each other which made the class better overall. She is SUPER CHILL and an awesome person!!! TAKE HER!!! you won't regret it! plus she is a way easy grader!

Easy, nice. Not sure what happened with the previous students, but I'm guessing they failed. If you attend the class, it's impossible to fail.

She's helpful. there is a lot of work, but she tries to explain it. Do not be late though!

As I move on to the next English class, I know I'm going to miss this teacher. She explained things pretty well, and even explained why she would teach these methods. Seems she has a lot of experience and cared about the success of the student. I wouldn't have gotten an A without her help

Easy grader. Somewhat interesting essay topics. She is a nice lady. She taught us tricks in doing well on timed exams. Must have discipline with attendance and punctuality. I struggled at first but learned quickly. 8 am class well work it

Professor Lace is awesome! I was intimidated about an online class but her assignments are fairly easy. Attend meetings and do the homework. If you do your best, there is no way you can possibly fail. I would recommend her if its your first english and online course.

She is truly an amazing professor. I absolutely loved her class. super easy just follow directions and do all the hw and you're good :) class discussions and group work

Prof. Lace is an extremely intelligent teacher. I learned so much. She's very concerned about her students. She does give lots of work, but it is all relevant to the projects and tests that we do. For those who complain about the work, it could be that they need to start it sooner. The class is easy if you put time into the work. I love her. :-)

Lace is honestly a great teacher She gets to the point most times Yes she makes most assignments very similar but she has her purpose No not all her jokes are funny but she does try to connect with her students when giving assignments. She gives second chances I am a horrible learner though i got an A in her class Just be open to it

I took an online class with her in the spring and she responded to emails so fast and was always so helpful. If you put in the time to do the work, you will definitely get an A. She lets you re-write your papers if you didn't get the score you wanted. I can knock out papers in an hour thanks to her!

summer class, down to earth. Punctuality is a must in this class if you want to pass. She gives good feedback on your actual English mistakes. She corrects your essay mistakes for you, and you can rewrite essays for a higher grade. Not a tough grader, but be prepared to write 5 page essay per week.3 papers I thought her jokes were funny. Got an A.

Lace is pretty laid back. A few tips: Attendance is a must. If you're a few minutes late she asks you to leave and come to the next class on time. Had 4 papers overall, each an average of 4-6 pages. Not a hard grader. One thing I didn't really like is that we did a lot of in class group activities, but it is not graded other than participation.

Prof. Lace was a great teacher. She is very reasonable and teaches you highly important material. I basically learned critical thinking, critical reading, and rhetorical writing. Attendance is very important, and the work load is not bad at all. Put in a good effort, and you will do fine. Also, she will make accommodations if you talk to her.

She is one of my favorite teacher. She gives you a great feedback. I like her.I would take her class again.

Loved this class. She's harsh on attendance but gives extra credit. I took this at night during summer. She always had a interesting topic to talk about. Very organized and she teaches you exactly what you need to know. Amazing teacher.

Professor Lace keeps you on your toe. A lot of free writing in class. Additional short essays submitted online. Professor Lace will guide you in how an Essay Structures are expected for class. She goes out of her way to help each and every individual student in class. Attendance required. Must be on time for Class. Take her class. You will be glad.

I took this teacher in the Summer for English 028 and in Fall English 101. This is an excellent teacher. She actually teaches. She is NOT an easy grader. If you really want to learn, then this is your teacher. If you just want to pass your classes don't waste your time and others. I love her technique and would take all my English with her.

This teacher is very friendly and wants to make you feel positive too through her techniques in class. Aside from that, she does a good job teaching and tells you exactly what she wants. She will make you do a part of your work in class to help you get started as well as to see if you are on the right track so that you can ask immediate questions.

Proff. Lace is a wonderful women and teacher. She really cares about the students but will actually teach! So don't come to the class thinking you can breeze by, there is work and reading to be done as well as writing. I really learned a lot from her. Do NOT BE LATE though. She won't let you into the class if you're late.

The only negative thing about this professor is that she does doc points off your grade if you miss a class, and will send you out if you show up late. Other than that, she's funny and a super easy grader. I ended the class with 100% . Essay's are only 4-5 pages long as well

Took winter session En101 class. At first she acts strict - after she is super nice. If you want an A, BE ON TIME - she will tell you to leave and not come back until the next class - join in the group projects, listen in class. Had us do most homework in class - usually 1 in-class essay / wk. Loved her class - hoping to take En102 with her.

EASIEST A EVER. I honestly feel like she never read my essays lol I got and A in every paper I turned in. I took this class over the summer, so glad I did, I got English out of the way with an awesome professor. She brought snacks and made the class fun. Let us leave early a couple of times. Very approachable. One solid advice, don't be late.

Professor Lace is a wonderful professor that gets everyone involved in class. Participation in class matters. She gives you guidelines on all her essays and has days where you work on them in class. Make sure to not show up late because she will not allow you in. Overall she is a great professor and helps you learn.

Honestly thought she was great. I took it during the 5 week summer session and was going crazy, not because it was difficult, it was just a lot of work. Just be ready to put in the time. We had 3 essays and then there were 1-2 assignments due pretty much every day (no tests). She's super nice and willing to help.

A wonderful professor. Her lectures are very informative and the activities she does in her class help more than I can express. The class overall was very chill and easy going, can get boring at times but you'll hang in there. She clearly states what she expects from students and assignments and homework is very manageable. Just don't be late!

Great professor overall! Class was completely online with the choice of attending office hours for extra help. We only had two essays total and both were very easy. We never had an exams or quizzes. She cares about her students and wants to see us pass. She also gives a lot of extra credit opportunities, although you won't really need them.

Lace is an amazing English Professor. I took her for ENG101 (fully online class-no zoom) and she has so many materials available to help you succeed. She truly does want her students to pass and is available outside of class for any assistance needed. She gives extra credit for the essays and gives a chance at the end to redo any work.
