she is the greates teacher ever, she is very very helpful and her test are so so easy. take her now or forever regret it. And for the guys, she wears a micor mini skirt to class. SO THAT SHOULD KEEP YOU AWAKE.... HEHE

Great teacher. Come to class prepared or she'll make so much fun of you, you'd wish you never came at all. But trust me, it's well worth it. The only teacher I'll really remember when I graduate. Good looking lawyer with an attitude.

Dr. Connolly is great! She'll have your head if you don't do the work but other than that she's a great professor to take.

Very funny, and keeps your attention. Makes fun of students and that is definitely entertaining. Tests aren't too difficult. Great class, totally recommend taking it!!

I loved Dr. Connolly. I got an A in her class, if you aren't excited about law, or if you don't like to prepare for class, she'll let you have it. But at the same time she's very funny and I learned so much from her... great teacher - great lawyer!

Dr. Connolly was great in class and it certainly help that she remindsof Julia Roberts!!!!

great teacher. involves you in the class, but you have to do the assignments or look like an ass when she calls on you...and she knows when you didnt do the reading! a little effort = quality learning from her experience, not just the books.

Connelly is amazing! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED_-she's knows it all!! She teaches in a way indicitive to learning! INterested in LAw---take her courses and Harold Ferguson! Both wonderful. Connelly is very fair and very professional--and very fun!!

She taught National Issues: "Deconstructing the Sopranos" w/ her pal Dr.Rodriguez. Together they are an amazing team. She is very smart and an excellent professor. I definitely recommend taking one of her classes.

Excellent professor, attorney and chairperson of the dept. She wears many hats, does so well and is perhaps one of the most intellegent persons I've come across. She is a little abrasive but once you get to know her you realize she means no harm but does have certain expectations of her students.

I highly recommend any student taking Legal Courses to take at least one with her. She is very knowledgable about her field and some others. Has a high expectation of her students, whom she goes to bat for when they are in need.

She is very intelligent however, if you dont like watching the Sopranos everyday, dont take her. Workload is easy its just that it takes too much of your time. Exams are on sopranos.

She's cool, but rodriguez is cooler. I mean she knows her stuff & shes nice, but she's a lil nutty. Also she can be extremely stubborn if she want to. I would take her again if i had to.

Most amazing teacher ive ever had in any class, i would recommend her to everyone. if u dont like getting called out in class, get used to it but shes SO awsome... she'll kick anyones butt in court.

she was very interesting. I had her 4 days a week for 3 and a half hours for a summer session and somehow she kept my attention the whole time. She likes to call on people so you have to be alert and read the material. Would have her again.

She was great. Although the classroom might seem like a courtroom at times, it gives it a "real" feel. You will get out of it what you put into it. She's not rude like some say, she's just very real, business-like. Have an open mind and the class will be great. She's very helpful and always available. One of the best professors on campus.

Heres a Quiz hot shot, if you kill someone during the commision of a crime what degree of murder is it? You dont know? well you should have read the chapter. Now go in the corner and cry. If you can take that (a sense of humor helps) you will have the best time in Connolly's class. A definant must (I haer her Sopranos class rules too)

I was scared to take her because of what others were saying (that she's hard, etc.)I'm glad I had her as a professor,coz I learned a lot, and the class was fun, we all had to read, but teh discussions were interesting, and prof.was clear about what she wants from us.Just read the chapters and be prepared for each class, and you'll love it!!

I liked her presentation and the info in the course, but the profs in this department seem to always be fighting w/ each other or sniping. Not sure that's good for students to notice

You either love her or you hate her; it really just depends on the day. If she asks a question and you know the answer, you may love her. If you get the question wrong, you have committed an unforgiveable sin in her eyes and will be admonished accordingly. She's not a bad professor just not a very nice human being.

first day she came to class she gave ppl attitude, only cuz she was pissed of at the train for being late...but after that totally nice. She really knows her stuff and she explains everything so its easy to follow. the tests are kind of hard but just do the work and make sure you read the material cuz she picks ppl and if you don't know the answer

You haven't experienced Montclair State University as a Justice Studies or Legal Studies major until you take this woman. She is probably the most knowledgeable and professional professor in the department! Knows her stuff and makes class interesting. As long as you're on her good side you're golden. Amazing prof.

I have not taken her for a class, however, I have trued to approach her for help. She was very rude and seems to be one of those professors who don't care about students that much. I can't say anything good or bad about her classes because I have not had her, but I can say that if you are taking her, be prepared to work with someone a little cold

She is a bit tough but overall she is a great teacher. You use the book a lot and you need to do the readings. She gets everyone involved so be sure you pay attention. She has a great sense of humor too.

She's very quick and sharp, she clearly knows what she's doing. It's hard to get in contact with her outside of class, but generally her classes are very entertaining, she has a lot of anecdotes, and she is REALLY into movies.

STUPENDOUS!!!! I took Dr. Connolly's Summer II. She is an AMAZING woman and a brillant professor. Only the VERY SERIOUS minded should take her class because she can recognize the "bull" from the door. Dr. C is the VERY BEST THERE IS!!!!

Dr. C isn't easy, but you can learn a lot from her. She knows basically everything there is to know about criminal law so if ur interested in that field TAKE HER! DO THE READINGS!!! You have to read in this class or Dr. C will know you didn't & believe me, you don't want to be that person. Tests are a little tricky, but you'll do well if you READ!

These people who say she is not helpful must be lazy because she is extremely helpful! She is tough, but she really cares about her students, she wants you to be better when you leave her course. She has great stories and the lectures are really interesting. If you do the work and go to class you be will fine. She is great!

If you are an idiot don't take her class. On the other hand if you have a brain and aren't afraid of using it you will find this class extremely rewarding. I took professor Connolly for theoretical issue and got an A. She gives 10-15 pages of reading per class. I found her attitude fitting if you can't read 10-15 pages for a class drop out of MSU!

If you aren't willing to read every night, analyze, take your own notes, and notes in class, don't take the course. Very harsh grader, but easily the best professor i have ever had. Ive never pushed myself as hard as i did in her class. You can be called on at any second and you better know the answer or you WILL be embarrassed. Great challenge.

She's one of the best teachers I had. It's college you have to read so do it. She will call you out if you didn't read and honestly that's what teachers should do. If you study, prepare for writing assignments, and read you'll get an A. She's also really funny. Overall great teacher I'd take her again for another class.

I loved Dr. Connolly. She will randomly call on you and if you don't know what to say (because you haven't read) she'll call you out on it. If you just read, and participate in class you will do fine. She doesn't even give a final because she said she herself hates them.

She's a great professor at first I didn't expect for it to be a good class but after a week she made me never want to leave. It's a great course to take, whatever class you decide to take she knows what she's talking about which makes everything easier to understand. She's super funny but at the same time she's about her business. This is college.

READ, READ, and come well prepared! She is very clear on what she wants and expects from the class. Can be intimidating at first but you will win her over by showing her you care about the class. She appreciates well thought out answers as well as questions. You will leave knowing something in her class.

If you dont want to work, do not take her. If you want to learn a lot, take her. There are only 3 to 4 exams and a paper, PARTICIPATION IS HUGE. Just make sure you do the work and participate and she will love you. She will know if you are unprepared and will embarrass you, do the work and you will be fine. Overall, take her.

Great professor, very knowledgeable of subject. Three tests throughout the whole semester. Make sure you read all of her assigned readings and prepare before class starts, or you will be doomed when she calls on you. Tests can be extremely difficult if you do not review or have no knowledge. Discussion boards are sometimes used. Boring topics.

She is a tough grader because she wants to make you a better writer. It is not an easy A by any means but she cares. She wants to make you better and help you exceed your own boundaries. People who don't like her are lazy and don't understand what she is trying to do ... make you better.
