I was terrified of taking a class speech class online. The teacher is amazing. She answers emails quick, took time to talk to me as an individual person when I had problems. I learned so much to give me a leg up for work. She helped me get out of my shell and be more confident in leading groups and communicating. Wish she taught other classes.

Took over the summer and ended up doing better than expected. Its a very easy class but all I would say is make sure to have the correct framing (being able to see head and knees in frame) or you will get a zero. Also be prepared to have 5-7 audience members if taking class online. Other than that easy A class!

Make sure to follow all of her audience requirements, will not hesitate to give you a 0 even something very small, no excuse. Very clear, always available to answer questions. Such an informative course. There are weekly quizzes that are based on the chapters in the textbook. There are hefty projects but she walks you through every step of the way and provides topics for us to easily become invested in. I highly, recommend her. If you're stuck or have questions, she's open to meeting, which makes presenting way less scary. She pushes you to do your best without making you feel bad.

I don't usually write these, but this just isnt fair. You don't have to memorize speeches to do good. Dr. Jones lets us use note cards, dont read off them the whole time. Saying only extroverts should take this class don't make sense, public speaking is hard. The feedback can be kinda confusing because it is detailed. It's not a easy A.

Dr. Jones led us safely and taught us how to act decisively in emergencies, police said our class was the only that would've survived. I left feeling prepared.

You might want to double-check your math before blaming the professor. Her classes are out of 1,000 points. A 65 out of 1000 is 650—add 10 and it's still a D.
