Dr. Armstrong is a tough cookie, she takes community nursing very seriously, her tests are tricky. That being said she is a very sweet woman who will bake you cupcakes, cookies, and go out of her way to for you. Her clinical group travels FAR though.

An incredibly hard class but you will learn more in one semester than you ever did before. Dr. Armstrong is very patient and understanding. Dont be afraid to ask for help she always makes herself available.

At first I thought it was a lot of unecessary work as compared to med surg and critical care but now that I passed the NCLEX everything Dr Armstrong said was true. She really has your best interest at heart. Appreciate having her. It will be worth it.

Get ready to work. 90 clinical hours, a huge paper and tons of assignments but Dr. Armstrong makes it doable. Make sure you submit everything on time otherwise you get a 0.

This class is intense but Dr Armstrong lays everything out in the beginning. Take advantage and get it done early. Also try to participate in class it will help you in the end.

Be prepared to work hard. Make time to go to writing center. Never fall behind with assignments. Be careful with Turnitin it wont let you upload even 1 minute past due date.

I m not one for online classes but had no choice this semester. I must say Dr Armstrong helped ease my anxiety. She was very clear on expectations. She answered all my emails immediately and reached out to everyone several times a week. She should teach the other profs how to do the same

Loved having her both in class and online once we made the transition. So sweet and caring and very clear on what was expected. She checked in with us multiple times once quarantine was in place. So far the best for online nursing courses. Very organized. Every week a new Panopto lecture and related guest speaker. Tests correspond to practice quizzes and kahoots Easy to communicate with and answers emails quickly. Has TA who helps with test review. Online courses arent great but she makes it reasonable.

Not sure why anyone would have negative things to say. She is excellent. More than accommodating. Provides everything you need. Clinical is intense but it is the same for all community courses.

I was scared to take a hard semester online but Dr A gave a solid course. She had all lectures recorded so there was no fear about loosing internet. She had top speakers every week to bring material to real life and clinical was out in neighborhoods not case studies like other courses. I learnt alot.

Professor is llamatastic. She answered all my questions. Made a tough semester doable. Clinical was interesting. Something new each week. Kept me organized through the pandemic.

This semester was no joke but community was the only one I looked forward to. Dr Armstrong probably provided more information than I would have gotten in a live class. I definitely feel prepared for the NCLEX.

I really enjoyed this class. Its not your usual nursing course. Every week she teaches a different topic that is relatable to whats going on in health care today. I now have a greater understanding of where my patients come from and where they are going to.

This has been an amazing clinical so far. We have seen so many aspects of public health and have had fun doing it. Professor is very caring but strict when it comes to time for clinical and submitting assignments but its doable. Looking forward to the rest of the semester.

Dr Armstrong is so kind. She understands how hard the semester is. She tries to provide things that will help you get through it. Tests are based on lectures and clinical. There are no surprises.

I just had the best clinical experience. First time give IMs and Dr Armstrong helped me gain the confidence I needed. She is so patient and kind. Never let me feel stupid.

This semester has been terrible except for community class. Everything she teaches is relatable to every day experiences. She explains exactly what is needed and makes sure you are ok.

Simply the best. Exam questions come right from lecture and canvas. Gives lots of practice questions. No surprises.

This has been the best clinical since starting Molloy. Every week was different and meaningful to lecture. From assessing culture and environment in NYC to giving flu shots to seniors. Dr Armstrong was a gem.

Professor Armstrong is the most caring teacher by fat. She goes out of her way to help you succeed. She has kahoot games in class with prizes. She answers emails fast and always is supportive. She is a blessing to have

TAKE HER!! Doesn't even compare to the other community teachers. Everything in this class is so straightforward and organized from day 1. Goes out of her way to make sure you are doing ok and will help you with anything. Practice questions help so much for the tests- she is a gem and a true example of what a teacher should be.

Professor is great. Course was very organized and information available prior to start so you can plan ahead. Clinical was fun and learned alot. Overall great experience.

Dr. Armstrong is an amazing person that is passionate about nursing, truly cares about her students and wants everyone to succeed. Her kahoots and module quizzes are EXTREMELY helpful when studying for exams, take them seriously! This is a tough semester but having Dr. Arsmtrong made it so much better. I loved everything about this course, this clinical and most of all this professor. She is a must to take for community.

Honestly the best professor I have had my whole nursing career. Her test are beyond fair and hard to fail unless you don't study. I wish I can take her for all my other classes, her teachings and panpotos are just indescribably good. Take her.

Dr Armstrong gives it her all. This is the only nursing professor that actually listens to the students and acknowledges their suggestions. Listen to the lectures, do the modules and participate in the kahoot and you will be fine.

Great professor. She posts Panoptos for you to listen to prior to class. Then during class she goes over specific things you need to focus on along with kahoot which help you to further understand the content. Loved her class!

I was scared to take a clinical course online but this class far exceeded my expectations. Dr Armstrong always made herself available for questions and never made me feel dumb. The projects were very interesting and the course was extremely organized. I would gladly take another course with her.

I just loved her class. She is very organized so from day one you know what to expect. She responds to questions immediately. She is approachable and laid back. She really cares about your success.

This is the first class where I really felt comfortable enough to participate. Dr Armstrong encourages meaningful discussions and it’s a breath of fresh air to hear from classmates. Exams are based on lectures kahoot and practice quizzes. She is great.

You can ask questions in class without feeling stupid and she reviews the material at the end of class with a kahoot game. She should be an example for other teachers to go by.

Dr Armstrong goes out of her way to get to know you even in a huge class. She tells interesting stories about her experiences and relates them to the lecture. She invites prior students in to discuss their experiences and really wants everyone to succeed.

I went into this semester thinking the worst but it turned out that thanks to Prof Armstrong this was the best class and clinical since starting the program. The class is so relaxed and all the important information is posted on canvas. She encourages us to be the best we can be.

The semester just started and I am so happy I have Dr.Armstrong. She is very organized with her canvas, sends reminders about what to do and answers questions without making you feel stupid. She is quick to respond to emails and so far the course seems doable.

Professor Armstrong was so sweet! She provided study materials for different learning styles. Her exams were easy- if you study the practice questions in her modules and pay attention during the kahoots, you're golden! She worked to make the clinical portion of the class varied and interesting, just be prepared to drive!

I just found out Dr Armstrong is no longer at Molloy! What a loss. She was the best professor in the nursing program.

OMG! I had her for community and grad global. She was so kind and always available to answer questions. This is such a sad day for the college.

Love her! She is very strict with due dates but as long as you had in everything on time you will be fine. She answers emails quickly and never makes you feel bad. She is clear with expectations and treats everyone equally. She rocks!

Had Dr A for two online classes. Her Canvas is extremely organized. She sends reminders to when work is due. She grades and answers emails immediately. The only way to do poorly is to not get assignments in on time

Had her for an advisor and nursing classes. She is so kind and I just found out that she is no longer at Molloy. It is so sad to see her go.

Prof. Armstrong makes learning engaging with Kahoots and varied clinicals. The exams are manageable if you study the practice questions. I found unstuckstudy ai great for extra prep help too. Overall, a super caring professor!
