One of the best professors I've ever had! He is well respected and inspirational. His lectures are superb! His tests are rigorous and you really have to pay attention during lectures, take good notes, and study hard. If you don't really want to learn then skip him (actually do us all a favor and stay out of healthcare). Highly recommend!!

Recorded lectures could be hard to sit through at times (monotonous tone) but info is very helpful. Uses real medical examples to help you remember things. As long as you follow what to do each week, you will succeed. He even extended due dates when we all lost power from a tornado at the beginning of the semester. Responds quickly to emails.

If you are serious about getting into an allied health program anywhere, take him. Sure its a lot of work, a lot of studying, and tests are long. However, Abell is straight forward. He gives you EVERYTHING you need to know for the exams. Study the material and youll get a good grade, its that simple . His class even helped me on the TEAS.

I took AP 1 and AP 2 with Professor Abell. He's awesome! His expectations + assignments are clear, fair, and easy to understand. He base his exams off his lecture videos. Four exams are given (100 multiple choice, and 50 pics to label for practicals). Long labs tbh. Two dissections. Weekly quizzes. Offers extra credit which you should do. TAKE HIM!

I took professor Abell for a&P1 in summer and it was a lot of work and very test heavy. His content is clearly laid out. You need to study for his exams and he makes you think outside the box. Do all the extra credit that is offered and the participation. You won't regret it. He is a very approachable professor! meet with him.

We all know Anatomy and Physiology is a difficult class. But thanks to Professor Abell teaching methods, he made it manageable. Ofc, you really need to work hard for it and do all the homeworks.

I was truly dreading taking Anatomy, ESPECIALLY fully online over the course of only four weeks as a summer class. Professor Abell was extremely clear with his instructions and a textbook was needed for this class (awesome book with great diagrams). There is a decent work load, but all easy enough!

He was a great professor. The topic is just very difficult and you need the memory of a sponge. He is immensely intelligent and is willing to help you through the class, as long as you show you care. This class was tough, especially as a summer class. I recommend taking him though, just be ready to bunker down for a semester.

I took Professor Abells hybrid A&P 1 course and loved his class. Everything in his lectures is what will be on the exams, he is a very calm and helpful professor. The course itself has a lot of information so taking the time to study is a must. He has participation worksheets that will = extra points at the end of the semester if completed!

Dr. Abel is a very nice professor and he really tries to make sure that everyone gets a fair shot in his class. Took him for AP1 and it was great, he's easy to follow and his test are straight forward. He's a stickler for spelling though so sometimes he can be a harsh grader. But he gives you chances to make up for it. Has quizzes @beginning of lab
