I was initially scared to see I had Norm because a lot of people told me different things. After the first class, he became one of my favourite profs. Very untraditional lecturing (was like conversation), but I actually learned so much and took no notes. The 2 Quizzes (midterms) were super fair, just read the textbook. Norm is truly amazing!

I have had the pleasure of taking BSEN291 (BComm) and OBHR601 (EMBA) with Norm, and now have chosen him to supervise some advanced research with him in support of my tech start up. His classes closely resemble the real world and if you put the work in before coming to him with a problem, he will always help you. He does not tolerate entitlement.

Do NOT trust the one 5 star review for HROD601, they wrote specifics giving away their identity to get brownie points. Aside from his attitude, poor teaching and toxic class environment, he's just an unethical man. PS he can't "make" you buy mindtap so he "strongly encourages" you to buy it to even pass the course. Hope he'll reflect inward one day
