teaches right from the book. kinda boring. he does answer your questions and papers are not hard and his grading seems to be easy. 3 papers graded. seems to be an easy class to pass. I also signed up for his comp 2 class

He is one of the best teachers i have ever had. The way he grades the papers are great. He wants all of his students to pass and he makes sure you understand all of the material.

If you are willing to come to class, write around 5 papers the whole semester, and participate in "chat"-style discussions, you will do well. Even the less gifted students earned Bs.

He is a great professor. Extremely flexible; doesn't seem to care if you show up or not. Grades papers really easily, literally impossible to fail his class! Lectures are a little boring; all he does is read from the book. But he did bring movies to watch every week (which was something we would look forward to). His class is really an easy A!

Professor Tanguay's Comp II class was so easy. He reads information to the class out of the book and assigns interesting persuasive essays and you get to choose the topic. Only one research paper due towards the end of the semester and the midterm and final are easy if you come to class because he lets you know what is on it. Highly recommend

Norman is by far my favorite professor I have ever had! His class was so easy and he has a great sense of humor! You don't even have to show up, all you have to do is turn in the 5 easy papers and you'll get an A! In class he read out of the books and showed movies...I strongly recommend him!!!

Easiest comp class . Few essays that were easy to write. One research one that took me a week and got an A. Take him for comp 2 believe me.

He was my favorite professor for composition. He was very light on his grading and was very helpful with feedback. He reads you what you need to know out of the handbook. You will watch about 3-4 movies in his class and his essays are short and simple, plus he gives you so much time to do them. Great professor!!

Loved my class with him! The movies we watched in class were interesting as well. He teaches right out of the book, so the curriculum is very upfront. His essay assignments are thought-provoking, but vague and meant to be personalized. He also prepares the class for the midterm very well. He's very kind, helpful, and always cracking a joke!

Professor Tanguay is the best. This is his first semester teaching this class, so he is still learning the ropes around this course. You have 4 papers, a midterm and a final. If you ever have questions never hesitate to ask professor Tanguay explains things a different way if needed. Even if its through email, he gets back to you fast. Best ever.

Great Professor, humor which I found funny and i'm only 24. Lost of essays, so be prepared to write. He does lecture for most of the class but he encourages conversation and participation counts. He is an older gentleman so sometimes it was hard to understand what he was saying but you get used to it. show up, do the essays, you'll pass. Easy.

I love Professor Tanguay he is nice and he is not tough on grading. Only 5 papers all semester and he taught straight from the textbook which I liked. He also made his lectures interesting by cracking jokes here and there, he is a very nice gentlemen.

Also keep all of your papers in case a mistake is made. He gives great feedback on papers. And he always reminds you every class when a paper is due.

Professor Tanguay is a good professor however he is an older man and his classes can be a bit dry or boring. The class overall is very (with emphasis) easy but I wouldn't take his class if literature is a true interest of yours. Class mostly consists of textbook readings and a few essays. Also midterm and final. 20 multiple choice.

Professor Tanguay is great and certainly has a sense of humor. I am taking him for comp 1. As long as you try at least a little, you'll pass. There are only four essays total and the midterm was easy. Only "bad" thing is, is it's difficult to hear if you sit in the back. He's quiet.

Really nice, and funny. 4 papers total given ample time to do. Pretty lenient grader. A grammar midterm with some vocab terms very easy and a very easy final with more grammar. Bring textbooks every class, he reads from them. Hands out a editorial for you to read and watch some good movies every class. Not sure if graded attendance.

If you hate writing, like me, and want an easy A this is your class. Tanguay was an awesome professor and hilarious. 4 easy papers through the semester, doesn't grade you based on organization, just grammar. Read from textbook every class and pay attention he uses info from the book in the midterm and final. Watched movies in class with spare time.

This professor is really relaxed when it come to assignments and it do dates. Papers are allow to be late however a hard copy must be printed. There are six simple assignments as this is a easy A to pass. You can only fail if you dont turn in anything. Throughout this whole semester the lowest grade that someone got out the whole class is a B+.

This was Comp 2 Essay. Professor Tanguay is a very easy professor for the bad writers. 3 short essays and one research paper. Attendance was graded and for class all we did was read from the book or read hand-outs.

Professor T. is honestly so amazing. He is understanding and is SO laid back. He is a part of the "baby-boomer" generation as he loves to put it, so he is a bit older and can be hard to hear at times so I recommend sitting in the front. As a dual-enrolled high school student, I was nervous choosing my professor but I have not regretted my choice

EASIEST CLASS EVER. Professor Tanguay loves his books and the class. he is very passionate. gives you so many chances to turn in essays and make up quizzes. book is only needed for essays but you can borrow a text book. ESAY A. basically come to class sit, listen and leave.

Professor Tanguay is FANTASTIC! At first it may be hard to understand him, but you get used to his accent. If you plan on talking to him be ready to shout, he's very hard of hearing. I wish I had him again this semester, such an easy A and so chill. Be ready for his crazy jokes and very old movies.

Only 4 Essays the whole entire semester, which were each only a couple pages. Tanguay is a great professor, whom is very lenient on deadlines and understanding. If you are looking for an easy but informative class this is the one. Even as an 8:00 am class it was still enjoyable and never stressful.

Professor Tanguay is the most laid back professor that exists. This class was easier than any class I have ever taken, even easier than most high school classes. He will read out of the text book for 20 minutes and then put on a movie for another 20 minutes each day. He let our class out 30+ minutes early almost every day. He is the best.

Took him in 2016 he was amazing. Hes such a sweet man and enjoys students and literature. Easy papers and barely any homework. He was awesome.
