Hash is easy. Don't go to class though because there is no point. I had an A average on my exams and I missed all the time. No need to take notes. Everything is straight out of the book (at least in Micro). Bad teacher.
Easy A. Tests are almost completely off the study guide. Lots of extra credit. I got like 8 points added to the end for little effort
Hash is the best. He likes tomatos and Wal-Mart shopping therapy. He explains supply and demand with beer and pizza and Marijuana. He is really funny. His class is easy but if you need help he is there.
TOTALLY SUCKED. Boring, unclear about virtually EVERYTHING... Didn't learn a thing.
EASY EASY EASY, as long as you actully use the study guides to study there is no way you cant get a good grade!

Hash is hilarious, but there is no point in attending class very often. He is unclear and wastes A LOT of time in class. Just read the book and take the online quizzes and you will be fine.
Hash is a nice guy but a worthless teacher. Read the study guide and don't waste your time by going to class.

this class sucks! he doesn't know anything he is talking about and if his assistant isnt there he doesnt know whats going on. he didnt even know we were supposed to have a test one day b/c his assistant was out of town. VERY HARD!!
The most pointless,useless,ridiculous class ever. You won't pass the tests no matter what you study, because he never goes over anything or teaches what the test covers. There are no notes to take, no study guide and basically you have to teach yourself.

HORRIBLE! Spent the entire class talking about his cats and then expects his students to understand economic theory. Tests are impossible.
all you have to do is study the questions @ the end of the chapter and the handouts, exams come exactly off of there! Piece of cake.
Worst teacher at Radford. You will not learn anything this class, save yourself some time and stress by taking someone else.
He's funny, but doesn't really teach that good. He puts notes on his Website and goes over those same notes in class. Gives he's quizes online and 2 chances. Pretty easy class though if you go to class and take quizes with your notes nearby!

Totally funny guy... some how he finds a way to relate all functions of the economy to alcohol. Makes class interesting, but can be a bit boring at times. Test kinda suck, but other than that no homework and quizes are pretty easy.
All you guys that say he is hard must be serious slackers.Just read powerpoints and then go over the quizes to study for exams and they are easy.Lets you have 2 tries on quizes, and they are online.So you can have notes right next to you.Plus always talks about drugs and alcohol, and is so funny.
Pretty cool professor. Really funny at times, but most of the time the class is pretty boring. The quizzes he gives are awesome, because you always get two chances to take them. Although he's pretty funny, I don't really undestand what he is talking about.
I love Hash, took him twice, failed all his tests and got A's in both classes because I go and talk to him, and he's fun, drugs, alcohol, effect of cheese slices, love him!
DOn'T BUY THE BOOK!!!! He puts everything you need on the websit, it would be a waste of time and money to buy the book for this class. Quizes are very easy, he give you two chanes and their online. He is pretty funny, but overall, be prepared to be very very bored in his class!

He's not a good teacher. He rambles on about random stuff that has nothing to do with economics, then he expects you to know the material. My suggestion is read the book. You learn more from that than you do from him. Bad teacher.
This guy is horrible. He drones on in class; he's so boring I can't help but not pay attention. If you don't want to listen in class, just buy and read the book. HE LETS YOU DROP YOUR LOWEST TEST IF YOU HAVE PERFECT ATTENDANCE! Plus online quizzes with answers after the first try! haha, idiot..
VERY EASY!! All quizes are online and you get two chances! And the exams come right from the quizes, so memorize those answers and you get a 100! Easiest class ever and no attendance policy either!!
The most boring teacher in the world. I can't pay attentions in class becuase he sucks. His teaching assistant is even worse. Quizzes on internet are easy but are screwed about half the time. Do not recomend if you plan on actually learning anything.

yes he is boring, yes he rambles on..but he is over all a really cool guy. his tests are not hard and pretty straight forward. his teaching assistant will help you out more than he can but overall the class is not bad! take him if you want an easy grade
this guy is clueless....he just rambles on about how anyone can buy something illegal as long as the have the money, he doesnt teach anything in class and we have to rely on the quizes to learn anything....you can take the quizzes twice though so thats the only good thing plus if you have perfect attendance you can skip the final
STOP RIPPIN HASH!!! If you got to class, it's not hard to pay attention, he does a great job of keeping your attention. He's very animated, and is just plain funny. He's a little disorganized but he's a great guy. GO TO CLASS, at times he can be redundant, but if you do what he asks (read) you'll be just fine! he gives lots of extra credit too!

Great professor! Very funny. TAKE HIS CLASS! Explained things so that anybody could get it. The only problem I had was that he used a cheap book in an attempt to save us money; there was a gap between his lecture and the book. Maybe he will switch back to the good book. Participation in his class is great. He is always open to your ideas.
Worst economics teacher. He doesn't explain what's going on, he is always off topic. You pretty much have to teach yourself if you want a good grade in his class.

Hash is the man! His tests are exactly like the homework work sheets. Really funny! This is a very unique teacher and is totally nuts in a good way! diversify your learning experience and take Hash. you will never be the same!
HASH IS HILLARIOUS. I HAD HIM FOR A SUMMER ECON 105. HE IS USUALLY OFF TOPIC BUT MAKES THINGS INTERESTING. SOMETIMES FOR HOMEWORK YOU WILL BE LEARNING THE WORK ON YOUR OWN BUT HE IS WILLING TO HELP AND IS A PRETTY RESONABLE PROFESSOR. HIS TESTS ARE HIS HOMEWORK STAPLED TOGETHER.
He's so funny when he gets off topic, and he's pretty good at relating topics to the real world. As long and you show up to class and keep up with the WebCT work, the class is an easy A; the tests are just all the homeworks put into one.

He's really good and really funny professor because he says the most random and off the wall things. He uses Web CT a lot and puts up a lot of online quizzes and discussion questions. His exams are fairly easy. He takes attendance everyday so it's important to go to class.
Hash is the most rediculous professor I've ever had. His accent is hard to understand at first. It was very hard for me to take this class seriously, just because he is very rediculous. The online assignments are a huge part of the grade and they are guarenteed 100%'s. The tests are just the online homework and worksheet questions.
Attend every class, he'll drop the lowest test grade if you do. Do the homework, tests are made from that. Trys to be funny. Cool guy.
Very out there kind of guy. Could not take him or the class seriously. You won't learn anything from the class, but it is impossible to fail. Online assignments on WEBct and a few worksheets. Dr. Hash is the department chair, but he is really chill. You can hardly understand him, but he is pretty funny. I would definately recommend Dr. Hash, but make sure you check the homework, quizzes, and tests, because you will almost always have things marked wrong that are correct because of his IDIOT STUDENT AIDES. I hope you asses read this.

Can't really understand. I rarely went to class and got a B. he gives out worksheets and i did like 2 out 5 of them. Quizzes are cake tests are moderate. I would recommend him. Minimal effort gets you a B.
AWFUL!!! You cannot understand a word he says and he does not help at all. His examples make no sense. I was lucky to get a C in that class. His student assistant does all the work!

He is foreign so to some he is hard to understand but I had no problem. He uses powerpoints from the book and the lectures are incredibly boring. He will give extra credit for perfect attendance but doesn't take off points if you don't come. His assistant does all the grading and he doesn't know how to do it correctly. Just read the book.

The man is very hard....because he doesn't adequately cover the subject matter, he starts lecture and then goes of on rant-like tangents about the economy. Uses profanity occasionally. Don't take him if you have no desire for Economics or if you prefer a good grade
Do not take this guy. I had to drop the class just to keep from killing my GPA. Very hard to understand, doesn't cover material very well at all. If you want to pass, you better know economics already or be ready to teach yourself. I would read each chapter 3 times and still couldn't get a decent grade on his tests
Dr. Hash is cool, but he can't run a classroom at all. I don't believe he respects his students in the intro econ classes and thus doesn't earn the respect of his students. He is very smart, but it does not translate into being a good teacher. Avoid if possible.
Professor is confusing. I had no idea what was going on the whole time. He gets the quizes online somewhere but you can never find the answers in the book. I wish i dropped the course when I had the chance. Do NOT take his course.
He is very confusing in the classroom but the class is super easy i'm not sure why everyone is saying its hard. He gives a bunch of online quizzes which you can take as many times as you want and ALL the answers are in the back of the book. the test are super easy too, you can pass this class without even going to class.
He himself is a horrible teacher, dont try to rely on him to learn the material rely on yourself with the book. Class and tests are easy as all of the test questions are in a study guide that you have to buy. Dont ever want to go to class, but you have an iclicker quiz every morning that is pointless and everyone gets the questions wrong.
I had him for microecon and he was very hard because he literally doesn't teach anything that's on the tests. NOTHING. But I have him now for global econ and every single test question is verbatim from the quizzes. Very simple class but it is very boring. However it is an easy A.

He is a smart guy but he is a horrible teacher! He has no idea how to do D2L but he puts everything on there anyways. He is "never" wrong and even when you try spending hours doing the homework and get a 40 because he used the wrong answer key, he won't care. Take ANY OTHER teacher other than him if you can!
Well, I can't say much being that I have not tried to communicate with him before. However, he doesn't post much and I haven't got a clue when our final is, once posted that we would have a test due on a thursday night (two days before it) only open during certain times. Besides the confusion, the class has been fairly easy and I can't complain.

Awful teacher. 100% do not recommend! You have to teach yourself and when you ask him a question or for help he won't give you an answer he'll just spout off random crap. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. He does not teach you anything you will be tested on, he tests you the day after the lecture when he only gets through two slides. DO NOT TAKE HIM!!!

This was literally the most difficult class I took the entire year and it should not have been. Beware of taking his class because if you fail one of the four tests then you wont pass. That being said, nothing taught in class will be on quizzes or tests. So good luck.
One of the worst professors at Radford this class was completely disorganized he would still have dates for quiz's from the previous semester and would only change them the day before they were due. Tests and quiz's were unnecessarily long over over 100 questions each. He never gets back to you on the assignments either. Avoid him at all costs.
I am a senior Econ Major and have never gotten below an A- minus in my econ classes. I have not gotten my grade for this semester yet but I am pretty sure I'll get a C. The guy is extremely unorganized I have no clue how he still has a job. By far the worst professor I have ever had. DO NOT TAKE.

While this professor knew what he was talking about, he failed to explain it well. Going to class helped just as much as looking at the chapter slides on D2L (not a lot of help). The class had chapter quizzes, 5 tests (including the exam), and homework was extra credit. Didn't reply to emails efficiently. Didn't make efforts to help us improve.
Took online, wasn't bad used the textbook for easy quizzes. He just gave exams at awkward times. The exam windows were only for a few hours long for 90 questions which would take me around an 1 and 1/2 hrs in a two hour window. Usually so many people would have issues with time they would move around at least 2 or 3 times. Lots of chapters (17).
He is the worst teacher I have ever had in my life! He is not organized at ALL. He lost two of my exams. He is awful. There are thousands of exams that don't make sense. You will fail this course. And if you're lucky, you will get a D. You will not like this professor.
Hard to understand, assigns quizzes over chapters not yet discussed in class, large work load- assigned readings/homework and quiz on Pearson and also quizzes on D2L that are not easy at all. Was lucky to get a 60-70 on quizzes and exams. Had to drop this class.
Prof. Hashemz the type of boomer to have his secretary print out emails for him since he still doesn't know his login. I took Econ205 which uses Respondus Lockdown Browser for tests (the Fort Knox of testing programs) hard to cheat on tests, but practically everyone In my lecture had their phones out during tests. Also, tests were too hard.
Avoid taking this class at all costs - I had it online, but Ive heard bad things both ways. Hes terrible @ communication. The class is full of 50 questions quizzes and five 90 question exams that. He wanted proof that I bought HIS book, which I never even had to open. The quizzes are easy to cheat on, but good luck when it comes to test! (webcam)
