NURI IS THE MAN!

He is by far the most handsome Math teacher on campus. He is also brilliant and articulate. Very easy to understand.

he knows what he's doing, very helpful, and fun to be around. He is one of the nicest professors i have met.

Had him for Math 60 and 70- he is a very nice teacher and helpful though seemed a bit stressed from time to time. Overall I would reccomend him!

Nuri is so cute. I had trouble concentrating on the material ;) In all honesty though he was a great teacher and went over all the homework, which I really liked because some teachers don't do that. He was very funny as well. I would recommend him for anyone struggling in math.

Nuri ROCKS! I hate Math, but I think I like it now. Nuri goes over homework everyday and makes sure you understand. He is funny and has a great attitude!

He's the best math teacher I ever had. Besides of being so cute and funny, you can talk to him about anything. Very brilliant! He's freakin' awesome! I got all A's in his class..haha! =)

This guy's a riot. perfectly on key with my type of learning. If you like looking on over-heads instead of black-boards, this guy is for you.

I was failing and about to quit the class, and he encouraged me to stick with it and ask him anytime I needed help. I kept the class, and with his help, my grade improved drasticaly. He really goes the extra mile.

I think that he is the best math teacher ever. I hate math, but the way he teaches it makes everything clear. He is on top of everything, he makes sure you don't fall behind in class and that you get as much help as possible, if you are not lazy you will defenetly pass it with an "A".

Nuri is one of those few teachers who truly "makes a difference"! Took him for mth70 and now 95. He knows math, more importantly he knows how to TEACH math. Nuri is great! It was an Independant Study Class taught from the Math Lab. You have to stay on top of your work, but Nuri is VERY helpful, easy to understand and kind. He seems to really care. He has an accent, but he is easy to understand.

He knows what he is doing and he will set time aside to help students outside of class.

He's great, always knows exactly what to say to make the problem become crystal clear, like he knows how to break down every piece to help you understand. Plus, he's probably the funniest instructor I've had; a fair portion of my notes are hilarious quotes.

I feel lucky to have landed in Nuri's class my first term in college. I didn't pay attention at all in high school, so I had to start from scratch. Nuri is a very good teacher, adept at adjusting his words and demonstrations to a variety of learning styles. He is always patient, never judgmental, and quite funny too!

Nuri is fantastic! I always dreaded math, but he is able to explain and demonstrate problems in a perfectly simple way that I can easily remember. I feel very lucky that I got Nuri for my first term in school- I will be using him for the rest of my math classes. He makes math easy!

He does a great job explaining how to do the math. The examples are very clear and easy to understand. Not to much homework assignments and the test are fairly easy! :) I would recommend him to anyone taking math 70

Nuri is a great teacher! I went into this hating the subject but came out with the first A I've ever received in math. Nuri made this class enjoyable and has a teaching style that is easy to understand. He prepares you well for tests and the next class. Has pop quizzes based on the homework and adequate reviews before tests. Highly recommended!

Nuri is a wonderful instructor, he really wants his students to succeed! We has three tests and three pre-tests, we got points for our pretests as well as homework. Would recomend him, and would take him again myself, tois hard but I really learned a lot!

Awesome Teacher. Speaks with a slight accent but very easy to understand. Willing to always help and makes sure that you are up to speed. Great teacher! was very helpful and made everything clear. Would highly reccomend him! I'm just sad he doesn't teach other math classes I need to take but if he did teach them I would totally go for them. You only need the textbook for homework but other than that you don't really use it in class.

He is such an incredible math teacher. He makes it click for everyone in attendance. His timing and sense of humor are great too!!! This professor takes the extra time to make sure you understand the material.

He is a brilliant professor and you will learn. He does not however have a lot of sympathy for slackers, if you do not come to class or forget something, you have no hope of making it up. Do not expect to be able to review old chapters until the review. Also make sure you turn in and complete all of your reviews, they are quizes most of the time.

Nuri is awesome, by far one of the best professors Chemeketa has. True he has no sympathy for slackers but for those who try, he will break his back to help you understand, plus he has a lot of multitude of ways to help you learn verses other teacher who stick to standard teaching in math..

Nuri is an awesome instructor - he cares about his students learning and encourages them to not give up. Math was not my best subject took class 2 times but he never gave up on me D first time and B second time if you don't read and do the homework then you will not make it in this class he grades fairly and tests are on what is covered in class

Nuri is a great math teaacher, especially for those who don't like math. he will make it understandable and relate it to real life. he grades extremely fairly, and if you do the homework you will know everything you need to do very well on the tests. i would love to take his classes again.

Moves quickly, but sure to take time for any who don't understand. Fair grading, reasonable amount of homework, and great test reviews.

To be my first term after a year out of high school was very easy to review and succeed in the class. He takes his time to make sure everyone understands clearly the ways to solve problems.

Answers questions till you understand it. Jokes around, tries to keep you interested. He has a Arabic/Indian accent though so it's a bit hard to understand him sometimes. You need to use the text book because he gives hw every day. Grades REALLY hard though. Attendance isnt necessary but its better to go since we go through new concepts every day.

I had Nuri a couple years ago and he is a very sweet man. Nice, funny, very encouraging, and interested in watching you succeed. I mostly felt compelled to write this just to point out that he is NOT Indian. He is from LIBYA, which is in Africa.

Very visual teacher. He is writing on the board through out the class. which is helpful when he is teaching. You literally learn something new each class so attendance is MANDATORY. Missing one class is like missing a whole chapter. But when he teaches he makes you understand it. He's really funny. Excellent teacher!

His class was too easy. I kept finishing things before everyone. So I would text, and he was like no texting do your work. I had none to do though.

It's really important not to miss a day of class. This teacher graded fairly and would always help with any questions. Just make sure to do the work and come to class. He's also funny.

Great math teacher,knows how to make it easily understandable to al students has reviews so no surprises for tests. he drops your two lowest scores he tries hard to work with students and making sure you understand the lessons. I hate math but loved his class I wish he was available for more math classes. super organize as well

Nuri moved at a quick pace, doing homework and showing up for class is mandatory. He has a great "dad" sense of humor and made the subject fun and interesting. I hated math prior to taking this class and Nuri really gave me what I needed to feel that I could do math and enjoy it. I feel prepared for math 95

Nuri is probably the best teacher I've found in a long time. I hated math before taking him my first term at Chemeketa in Math 60 and 70. Nuri teaches you to keep math simple and not over thinking things which makes it so much easier to understand. I highly recommend any math 60 or 70 student to take him! I'm excelling in math 95 now!

Nuri is great. He has proven to be flexible with his deadlines when the class has needed extra time. He opens the module exams and quizzes up at the end of the term for you to improve scores... very nice! Don't rely on MyMathLab's final review for the final. Use Math 70 review pdf from the beginning of the term!

Awesome teacher, I absolutely hated math until I took mth 60 with him. He explains himself very clearly and as many times as you need him to until you understand. He is awesome.

Nuri, one of the best teachers I have ever had. I have always struggled with math and saw my lack of math skills as barrier to a successful future. Nuri removed that barrier and made it possible for me to move forward. Nuri teaches in such a way that math became something I could understand and enjoy. He makes math attainable.
