One of the best teachers I ever had. He tells you from the start what to expect. Learned a lot in this class. He is a tough but fair teacher. Collects homework which counts towards the grade like a curve. He is not boring. I would take him again.

Professor Nussbaum is the best the Accounting dept. has. I stongly recommend him. Also his class is not boring. His lessons are clear and he does a lot of examples on the board. Probably the persons who gave this excellent professor a bad mark is because they dont come to class, don't study for the test and are just plane lasy. People like that never successed in life. Do not let the bad remarks discourge you from taking 201/305 with Professor Nussbaum.

The best accounting professor I've had so far at Queens College. He makes the class interesting. He is a very fair and understanding. I wish he could teach Advance accouting though.

this prof. is a best of prof in Queens college, and very very helpful.... basically 201 course is the hardest cours in Acct major, and this prof. makes it so easy.. and get home work for an extra credits.. if students say that he is hard then they are insane.. and thoes students have no idea.. how good is he.....TAKE HIM HIGHLY RECOMMANDED PROF....

He is a great professor. I like the fact that he gives homework as extra credit. Ignore the comment about "smart guys," that's not true. He's down to earth and makes learning fun becuase he's in the process of learning the same material as well. Definitely take him if you're a night student.

The top accounting professor at Queens College. Extremely helpfull and very fair. If you do the homework you will pass the class. I'm a senior and this is my second class with this professor. I wish I could take him for all my classes. Really made a difference in my accounting career. I honestly can say he is a very special teacher.

Great professor

Professor Nussbaum made attending evening classes a pleasure. He is thorough, knowledgeable, and cares about his students. Those who gave him a bad rating obviously did not put ANY effort in their assignments or their studying!!!!!! I only wish there were more professors like him or that he was teaching more classes!!!!!!!!!!

Very good professor. TAKE HIS CLASS! No gimmicks, no suprises. He tells you exactly what to study and that's the exam. There is no room for you not to do well in his class unless you absolutley don't understand the materials or you don't study. Don't expect to do well without studing the materials. This is a university college not high school.

Very good professor. He will only tell you the important stuff and he explains everything clearly. Unfortunately, the person (Leonardi)that teach accounting 202 in the evening-the course after 201 is extremely incompetent. So it will feel like you only took accounting 201 even after you took 202. I don't know what the hell Queens College is doing.

A wonderful professor. Explains everything clearly and the class is interesting. Not only does he make it possible to do well in class, he also teaches in a way that the material stays fresh in your mind semesters later. The only reason I didn't take him for 305 was the time. Thank You professor!

Very fair, competent, and interesting. By the end of the term you'll have a good base of basic accounting knowledge. And he has a great deal of employment experience which he integrates into the class when appropriate.

Take him, he is one of the best professor in QC. You will have to study hard and you will get an A+.

Previous reviewers probably thought the was joking about what he will ask in the exam but he doesn't joke when it comes to that. I remember looking at one of the questions he said that similar one will be asked but I didn't believe it because it looks scary. But guess what - similar question showed up in the exam. Study what he tells you.

very easy class, hard to not get an A. no need to go to class, just study homework and exercise that he did in the class. Very clear.

he is a fantastic professor. for anyone to post a negative comment about this man is crazy. go to class do the homeworks, study what he tells you and you will pass with a high grade. he is great to get along with. hes funny so the time goes by quickly. and his knows the material. he can probably teach it without a text. he is a must take.

Good Professor. Intermediate 1 is a tough course but he makes it tolerable. Not easy, but if you do what you have to do, you can get the grade you want.

Must attend class to keep up with the work. Do all homeworks which are assigned every thursday it helps your grade. Very helpful, nice guy!!

He is a nice professor. His exams are based on the HW, and HW is 30% of your final grade. As long as you do the homework and show the efforts on the homework, you will get full 30%.

Hands Down the best professor at queens college. Makes a hard subject easy and is a fair grader. Gives 3 exams including final and do all the HW because it is a must since it will add as 10 points to your FINAL grade. Tests are some m/c and problems like journal entries for the first 2 exams then the final all problems no m/c. Easy to do well.

this course is boring and hard but he helps us out by giving us a test only on the hardest chapters and the easier chapters together on other exams. do da HW and u will get pts added to ur exams. If u pay attention and just do the hw u will do fine. I think he is the best acc prof, doesn't require projects, just 3 exams thats all.

anyone who is giving bad reviews are people who are failing or who apparently never taken other acct profs at QC. He is the best, if you study at all, should be a easy class. Come on. This is accounting your talking about. Materials are always hard. But he makes it fun and moderately easy. TRUST ME. There are only few GOOD profs like him at QC.

Pretty good professor. Explains material well, especially for a hard subject. If u don't show up for class u will not do well. three tests total. Gives extra points 4 ur homework so you can get a good grade - this is a BIG PLUS. Definitely recommend him for 305 and for 201

Highly recomend this prof. Took this class fall'09. This course req that you really keep up w/ reading & hwk. Prof explains material very well,provides own outline of mat,wks problems in class, reviews prior to exam, gives you "points" toward grade for hwk handed in.

The best professor for 305. Highly recomended. Worry free class. Professor can explain his subject very well. Notes are given so you don't need to spend time to copy the notes in class. Doing exercise in class is extremely helpful to understand. You wouldn't be sorry for taking his class.

One of the Best Professor here at Queens College. I highly recommend for those in business/accounting majors. His exams are exactly like the ones we go over in class. Take him and you won't regret it!

Best Professor for 201. Not an easy A because acct 201 is kinda hard, but with the 30+ point extra credit, its VERY possible. The exams were SIMILAR to his reviews, but with some curveballs, which aren't that hard if you understand the info. 3 tests non-cumulative and easy project. Do ALL the homeworks and but some effort and you'll do fine.

Took him for both ACCT201 and ACCT305. My favorite prof in QC. 3 exams, TONS of extra credit, and tells you exactly what to study. He is funny, smart, nice, and teaches very well. Definitely take him!

not an easy class but then again it is cost accounting...prof nussbaum makes the concepts crystal clear to understand and I loved his organization in as to how he played out the topics...3 exams..final....exams are problem based which is exactly the same as the ones done class..recommend doing the problems over and over again

good proff. gives out HW with xtra points. make sure u dont miss them. u cant fail if u do all of them. 1st xam: MCQ, 2nd xam: take home problem solv 3rd: in class problm solving. xams r kind of hard as usual. 1 project paper. not wasnt easy course for me, but proff was good enough.

Professor Nussbaum is just amazing. His class is not easy but if you come every day and put your effort into it then you can get a good grade easily. The best thing about him is that he goes out of his way just to help his students.

His teaching is straight-forward and clear and his tests are exactly what he goes over in class. The HW is extra credit and there's no attendance but if you want to do well on tests you should to come to class. There's also a short project which take some time but isn't too hard. Overall a very positive experience.

Nussbaum is the best for 201. Hw's are all extra credit, and if you do them all, it's 10 points boost on your final grade. If you look over the homeworks, the tests will be a breeze since they are pretty much the same except for different numbers. Easy course, and a good guy. Just put some effort into it, and you will leave happy.

Three exams and excel project and homework for extra credit. Great lecture and all the material covered in class matters. Doing exercises during the class period related to the exam. Show up to the class and do the exercises in class and homework and you good to go. Great professor for 201.

wow I think this is one of my favorite professor I ever had. He's personable, he teaches well, and he cares for his student. If you work hard, you can earn good grades. I wish he would really teach higher level accounting courses, or else i would take everything else with him. So recommended! You will not regret taking him!

Prof. Nussbaum is great. Explains material very well. He gives 2 tests plus Final exam and 1 Excel project. If you do HW it definitely helps you with your grade plus prepares you for the exams. He also helps you with the project. Of course you have to put some effort to get an A but do what's required and you're good.

He is one of the best professor in qc. He explains everything very well and exam are almost same as the hw. If you do the hw's and understand them, you should at least get 80 on the exams.2 midterms and one final, all straight forward. He makes the class very easy and add extra points toward your test score for doing homework.

Professor Nussbaum is the best accounting professor QC has to offer! You'll leave his class with a good foundation of accounting. He prepares you well for each exam that you can't fail his class. Gives lots of hw but it's beneficial to do them. One excel project but he helps you with it. I wish he taught higher accounting courses.
