Very good teacher
No Comments
He is an ok teacher. Its kind of hard to understand him, because he has an accent and sometimes he goes too fast, but if you study the notes and the book, you'll be ok. He is also very nice and if he sees that alot of people are having trouble, he'll give extra credit. I would recommend him.
Most the time, he made the calculation more confusing.
Great teacher, makes material real easy to understand. You don't even need the book and he doesn't expect you to read it either. Took finite math and will now take Elements with him, made a B and I know he probably curved everyone!
He's a great professor. At first, his accent makes it difficult to understand, but once you get over that, the class is an easy A. I took him for Math 1324 last semester, and am currently taking his MATH 1325. When I saw he was teaching it, I immediately signed up. All you have to do is pay attention, do the assigned homework, and ask questions.
Professor Behre is pretty cool. Although his accent may be a problem, he still gets the lecture across. I did enjoy the class, made a B though. If you're not all that great with math it's OK.. you will likely make a B. Tests were not hard, he gives study guides with the actual test material (only numbers change of course). Def. recommend!
Great Professor, if you show up and try your best you will do great. Take notes and listen to the lecture, do the homework and you will get an A (I DID)! Very willing to help before or after class and gives a "test review" before the actual test and goes over each problem. Highly recommend this professor, if you come to class!
Great teacher. He's got an accent but its understandable. Very helpful, easy class, nice guy, I would take him again if I had to.
He is really cool!! Good class, recommended!
ugh!!! couldn't stand this class. He helped none if you needed help. He had an accent which made it hard to understand. Plus he would confuse himself while teaching. How can students learn if the professor is confused himself?? plus he offers none formulas on the tests
He is a nice teacher, but he got an accent.I took him in fall mini-term made an easy A.
Great teacher, there is no reason why anyone should fail his class unless you didn't show up or take notes
He has an accent but that is not a big deal. If you have a question he will help you out until you stay you get it so if you dont get it and you fail it is your own fault. Good class. and he wants it to be a fun class.
want to make a easy a and understand the wook take one of his classes. Love this teacher yes a little accent but very understandable. He made sure we understood the work. Wish I could take his for all my math classes.
Love this teacher yes a little accent but very understandable. He made sure we understood the work. Wish I could take his for all my math classes.
Want to make a easy A and understand the work than take one of his classes. Love this teacher yes a little accent but very understandable. He made sure we understood the work. Wish I could take his for all my math classes.
Very very good professor. Easy. Take my words guys. No math lab unless u want it. No quiz. Test are fairly easy. He gives the review and goes over it. The test is the review only some numbers are changed. Just a minute accent. But that's okay. U can use your phone in the class if e sees u doesn't tell anything. Bottom line recommend to anyone. Dumb also. :p
I love this teacher! He is willing to help you out in any way possible. He wants you to learn the information and understand it. He is probably one of the best math professors HCC has!
just do the review. it is not hard class.very helpful
My personnal experience with this teacer is:He knows is staff as a mathematicien, but i have an advice for new students Do not think that's easy with him He is NOT EASY and does not help you as you expect. He gives you test review but the test are totally different, I can proove it I had that bad experience with .PLEASE WATCH HIM,for your sake.
Dr Berhe is very serious about his subject. He wants all his students to gain progressive understanding of the principles of mathematics. He has a genuine concern for his students. I highly recommend Dr Berhe to all who want to learn algebra.
Great teacher; takes alot of time on each problem and doesnt proceed unless everyone understands. He gives you problems in the book, but you never turn them in; just pay attention in class and ask questions- he doesn't mind. Got an A!
I do not agree with most review on his favor as a good teacher. He knows Math. because is teaching for long time,so he also expect you as a student to be almost on his level. He is wrong. He does not give many chances to get through if you are not good with Math. Be careful if you choose him.
very easy and very funny... No joke he knows what he is doing and helps you a lot... always.... just trust me... you will do fine if you pay attention and the revies are the same like the tests... I am very sure if you do review you will make an A in the test...
Very helpful,if you let him know..but he's definitely hard for an elementary level statistics course. No formulas on test but allowed to have 1 note card for help, hard questions on test with lots of theory..wouldn't recommend him, he's definitely on a different level!
Loved this math teacher! I thought I was going to dread taking math as I usually do but I actually liked it! He takes alot of time on every problem and makes it very clear. He seems boring at first but he'll get funnier as the semester goes on.
Math is my subject, but when it comes to this professor, hes alright, not gonna blame his lecture confusion because the age is getting to him to make that confusion. so as my opinion, i recommend him if u could fix his confusion.
not helpful
Do not take his statistics class. no i'm lazy, and no i'm not stupid. i showed up for all of his classes & i studied real hard. i graduated from HCC this semester & he is one of two B's i got on my degree plan. his reviews r insufficient, makes lots of mistakes & has a horrible accent. note that there r no stat tutors, so u r stuck with him.
This professor was very unorganized and inconsistent.I could not recommend him to any student. He never gave a helpful review of new or old material. The textbook was a better teacher than him.
Mr.Berhe is not a bad teacher. But if you must take his class, just make sure you're not a lazy student, because you will have to work on your own. He will not give you any review, he does not curve the test, whatever you get on your test is final. The reasonable thing about his class is that you are allowed to drop your lowest grade out of 5 exams
I took him for cal 1 and got A in the class. He is good, he do have a deep accent but he is good in teaching and he do use lot of stuff from book. Reviews were very helpful.
Mr.Berhe is a very good professor. Just be on time, do online homework and he gives exams review and exams are based on it. i got A+ :)
Awesome teacher. Very helpful. Go to his tutorials, he will help you. He is a funny guy actually. I would reccommend him
if you want to learn calculus, you, and you want to be able to teach other people what for ten years, take him, he is that good, and guess what, he hates failing people, but he jokes way too much, he is never serious.
Nice professor, helps out students and thoroughly explains everything. Also gives reviews before exams and exams are similar to reviews. His WebAssign HW is for extra credit, you get 5 points on each test for doing the HW before test day, and HW grade can replace lowest test grade.
Reviews are not consistent with exam..he knows math very well but his teaching methods are not clear so you will have to look up information on your own..our homewk was given to us late in to semester instead of beginning ..it was a bad experience overall for a class I had to pay for...I am good in math but his class confused me a lot
This professor is very easy. He explains things clearly. I am average in math but guess what? i made an A. Reviews are helpful and final exam was easy. Gives a lot of extra credit for doing HW. Plus your average HW can replace one of your exam.Take him!
This professor is very easy to understand! He makes things clear and is willing to help if you need it. Tests are easy and the reviews help alot! The homework given online have unlimited number of tries so you should get 100s! I would take this professor again!
Bad teacher. If you ask him some info, he just tell you to meet him at the tutoring!! he spent all the class hours to write definition on the board. I regret to have take his class.
He is nice professor. I love his teaching to make student understand clearly. I got an A on his class.
Very knowledgeable professor. He is does have an accent, but to me it was not difficult to understand him. His test reviews were helpful. Took the winter mini-semester and everything was okay.
Great teacher, pls don't always believe bad reviews. His tests are clear and he preps you up even on test days. I took him for the winter mini term and am happy I made the right choice .
I took his College Algebra class in the summer, should have made an A but I was slacked and got a B. Overall Berhe is a great professor, he knows his stuffs as well as how to express those materials to students. He cares about his students given many chances to make up failed grade.
He is very nice to his students and the best thing is that he understand not everybody is good at math. Just complete his Trigonometry class and got an A, I couldn't believe it. The first test many people fail and he let us do a homework online to replace the test grade with an 80. Very fair teacher.
He doesn't really explain things, has got everything just memorized and does not have a real understanding of the subject. Disorganized and inconsistent too, and unintelligible to say the least. Not recommended.
He is a good professor! He is very knowledgeable and, knows his material very well. he has a good sense of humor, he got an accent but you will used to it. 100% recommended, I am expecting an A in his class, but it is not too easy, you need to work for it. He does 5 exams including the final and the homework could replace the lowest grade.
Very kind and patient teacher. Takes time to show every step so that's really helpful to understand the concept. Very friendly to students and answers questions with kindness and consideration. Plus he's got a good sense of humor, too. The most important thing here is that he is not a mean person, and THAT's real intelligence as a human being.
He is a wonderful teacher, with his student's best interest in mind. Take him.
I took Dr. Berhe for MATH 1314, 1316, and 2412. He is a good teacher. He gives a lot of useful examples in order for you to master the concept. He does give a lot of homework, but it replaces a test grade and it is helpful. Take good notes and study hard and you should pass!
Professor Berhe is a good professor and is willing to help his students when needed. MyMathLab serves as HW and replaces lowest test grade which you have all semester to complete (but don't wait until last minute). Does a good job explaining problems and will always review a test the class period before.
He fails to teach the subject! Very surface level understanding, bad explanations. He recites the textbook poorly. Hwk was assigned but never graded or reviewed. Most of class was spent watching him write definitions on the board or making arithmetic errors while reducing matrices for a 1/2hour. He refuses to give partial credit on tests. dogmatic
very bad. i was not able to learn anything despite perfect attendance. hwk was never graded or reviewed. tests were not consistent with lectures. if you want to watch him write definitions on the board and make hours of arithmetic mistakes while he reduces matrices then go for it. i just don't think he understands linear algebra very well. avoid.
Unclear explanations, and the review sheet is really different with the exams. Also, he is really interested to take his exams in hardest condition and many tricky questions. I never recommend him. :(
he explains very well.. but you have to study well to pass his class and also don't forget the homework. Tests are not very easy, but he is very helpful and if you show up and do the homework, he'll give you extra credits always.. i recommend to take his class
You can depend on my review 100%. I took him in Fall Sem. 2014. He explained very well and he has an accent. And yes sometimes he made mistakes and he writes the definition of everything. 4 tests + the final + Homework. Drop the lowest test. No Textbook required. He doesn't respond to the emails. He give a lot of reviews. I expect to get an "A".
the most thing that pissed me off in this class that he is making fun for any one ask question his job is to answer the question either it was stupid question or its a good question he is very selfish and when you go to ask him about anything he will be pissed before knowing what is the question IF YOU ARE NOT GOOD IN MATH DO NOT TAKE HIM.
Dr. Berhe was very helpful. Yes, he did make mistakes during lectures, but I feel that they were on purpose for students to catch. Tests were easy, if you do the review, which he does before the test. There is optional homework that gives a TON of extra credit. He jokes around too.
His tests are all free response and his questions on the test are not even clear so its hard to get answers correct. He give way too much home work and he's not a good teacher, if u ask for help during class he wont be at all helpful.
I think he was a pretty good professor. He writes everything down on the board, and works out all the problems straight from the book, so you can go home and practice the same stuff. You have to go to class, write down everything he writes on the board, and go over the test reviews on the learning web. It's not a hard class if you do your work.
Although I got A but I will not recommend.
I think he is a good professor, but not an easy class if math is not your thing.
Ok, there is the deal. Don't skip classes if you want to pass his tests and do homework (it will replace your lowest grade). Test are tought, no multiple choise so expect to write all your solutions on the paper. In exchange for that he gives you partial credits on tests. Does tests review in class before actuall exams, do not skip it, it helps.
his test werent multiple choice and the questions on it werent clear of what form he wanted the answer in, so if theres two ways you can put an answer, you have a 50 perscnt chance of getting it right. causeing his tests to be hard. you will need to use the textbookk and theres a lot of homework. i tried my best for it and even studied, recieved D
Yeah he has the hardest accent to understand and he goes waaayyy too fast in the lecture. You would be in one section look down to write notes he's already into the next chapter . If you have the option, never take his class find someone else . Lastly how can you answer calls and text DURING class but not emails and text when you need them.
I took him in summer 1,2016. I made an A. He is a teacher indeed. He broke statistics down for me in the way I have never understood it. He gives reviews, textbook not compulsory. If you are good in Math, take him and your A is certain. I didn't want to take his class before becos of the bad reviews. I am glad I took him
He is okay. He gives some MCQ questions and there are no partial credit for those question. I took summer class. so it was kind of heavy for me. Finally, I made an A with extra credit.
He's fun. But has a hard accent that I can barely understand. I would avoid him if I could. But if you're stuck with him. Just go to class and pay attention. You should be fine.
He just rattles through lectures and doesn't explain anything. Accent Is hard to understand.
Pay attention in class and take amazing notes. Also don't procrastinate on the homework assigned.
MR. Berhe has a really HARD accent to understand and he does not explain things good but the homeworks does count as a grade n the tests are kind of bit difficult but I would NOT recommend this teacher
STAY AWAY !!!! DONT ENROLL WITH HIM IF YOU WANT AN A OR B ..
Worst professor ever. this class messed up my GPA . wouldn't recommend him
Doesn't teach well - I don't recommend him. I'm a math major. I had to learn Calculus by myself - I managed to get a decent grade. At least he replaces lowest test grade with hw grade; however, you need to work your butt off to get the grade that you want. Always check your test if he marks any questions wrong (when they are supposed to be right).
Took this professor once last year and only got a B. Mistakenly took him again this recent semester got a D. His lectures are totally different from everything. Tests are super hard and he doesn't pay attention to his students if they are using their phones during the exam which is unfair. Not really helpful. DO NOT TAKE HIM IF YOU WANT A GOOD GPA.
First year in taking college algebra, he is the worst professor you can ever have. My high school pre-ap math class can teach better than him. DO NOT TAKE HIM if you don't want to waste your money..
He is horrible he has a heavy accent. he does NOT EXPLAIN THINGS WELL ! I would NEVERRECCOMEND HIM! He is the worst math teacher at hcc!
Took him 3 times from Trig to Bus. Cal to Cal 1 and made 3 A's. Big piece of advice is to avoid taking him if you have trouble teaching yourself and are not motivated to do work at home. Throughout the 3 times I had his courses, I'd find that half the class would drop by finals week. Albeit, he's a funny guy who appreciates hard working students.
He is a good teacher and gives you plenty chance to make up your bad grades.
I don't understand why people say that he's hard. But I like him. Only 4 tests, 1 final and hw. As long as you come to his class everyday and focus in his lecture you will ace this class. He will replace 1 lowest test with your hw. Just complete the hw, you will get 100 on 1 test. Make sure that you study the material. Most stuffs are algebra 2
Berhe is cool for a professor in my opinion. Those that are crying because you want somebody to hold your hands and give you something free will struggle later in your upper-level classes. Berhe allow a test replacement with homework grade is quite generous. Real university won't give you anything for it, hw is for you to practice for test only.
Crazy tough grader. I did pretty well in my test but did not get credit for my work just because I did not SHOW MY WORK appropriately as the way he wanted it to be. PLUS he did not ask to show work in the test. Have a debate with him and only thing he said was what is this I dont understand it Where did you get it, did you guess
This was the worst class I ever had, I took him for Summer school math1314 and he doesn't teach. He just writes on the board and point. If you ask a question he make you feel dumb for not understanding after asking the question. Some people should not teach he is one.
Great teacher, helpful and clear notes and videos, responds well. I would definitely take him again.
Berhe can teach math quite well but could be just a little more understanding toward the situation of his students, other than that, he is a well-rounded professor
He does not interact at all. He sends out a few emails but never replies when an email is sent. Due dates aren't clear. You basically fend for your self. Tests are short so the points on each question are high so. Assignments that are due are also unclear.
W O R S E. A word is enough for the wise
Professor Berhe was hard to understand at times. He speeds through the lectures. You will need to study hard for his class.
Make sure to do connect math online. It helps average your grade. Also, study the reviews help but it isn't the same. He makes sure to try to help you by giving credits for a few things. Its four exams, math homework which contains 6 sections and final. He's a great teacher overall though.
He was mostly disliked by the entire class due to his attitude towards students. Doesnt explain material very well at all and doesnt like to be asked questions, constantly makes mistakes when doing examples for class, then argues and gets upset when someone asks about it. Gives easy examples in class then hits you with extreme stuff on tests.
He doesn't really care for students.. I do not advise students to take him.
As a student that is taught with examples and good lectures, I can let you know that this professor has no patience, and cannot teach. He stands around and points at the board and get mad if students ask questions.
one of the worst math teachers ever stay away from him if you can all the reviews in here are correct
I hate the professor and he doesnt deserve any of your money. Take him if you wanna waste time and deal with an annoying professor. take any other proffesor at all costs. I hope he gets fired.
If this is your first semester i wouldn't recommend this professor he has no patient he gets frustrated every time you ask a question i barely passed his class with a c trying all my best
Overall, Professor Berhe is a decent professor, but if you don't pay attention, you'll struggle. He has an accent, but you'll get used to it. 4 tests plus a final and homework, that's it. He'll cut down on the homework sometimes, but there's a lot, and he'll also give extra credit sometimes for finishing a certain amount of homework before tests.
Great teacher. Quite funny and a great teacher. He has accent but you will get used to it. Skipping class WILL fail you.
In my opinion, Berhe isn't as good because he simply doesn't keep up with time and holds us back for an additional 5 or 10 minutes. Also, Berhe's lectures are boring and at times vague. His class is fair, but kinda challenging if you're not a math person. Also, he sends you reminders on Canvas a night before something is due or even after due date.
Taking him during COVID-19 and I regret it. He is not a bad professor but has bad communication skills when it comes to the students. I've never been a bad math student but his teaching skills aren't the best. During online class, he gives 2 easy examples at most and then moves on. When you email him, he takes a long time to respond or doesn't.
Berhe is a fine teacher but he is very lecture heavy. Make sure to not sleep or you would miss a lot from his class. Study a lot for his tests too, he does not drop a test grade.
Professor Berhe is a mediocre professor when it comes to the academic side of the class but don't expect to have any social connection with him or the people in your class if you didn't previously know them. His lectures take up the entire class time and you'll get 4 tests and a final exam which you'll get the whole period to finish. STUDY or FAIL!
Berhe is straight to the point. He walks in and immediately starts the lesson, although class doesn't typically end until five minutes late. He lets you stay after class if your test isn't finished. He answers all and any questions with clarity. Homework on ConnectMath, 4 tests and a final. A few quizzes here and there, but he doesn't grade them.
I took Berhe for spring of 2020, his class was super easy. His reviews for his tests are the same as the test. Although he gives a lot of homework, it is worth it, as it teaches you about the subject more. Plus, the homework was easy to do. His online class was good, he went through everything in his lectures and asked us if we didn't understand.
I took him during the Spring 2020 for MATH 1314 and Mr. Berhe is very bad at using technology and if you don't pay attention to his lectures than you will fail his class. He gives a fair amount of homework on connect math however your grades depend on his exams and sometimes he will rush through his lecture and gets confused by his own teachings.
Berhe was a great college algebra professor. I had him during Covid-19 and he was still able to teach us. Some of the pros for Berhe are that he teaches what is on the test and homework helps to understand everything more deeply. His reviews are exactly like the tests and his lectures are exactly what is on the test.
I had no complain to me he was a good Pro. He always had lectures for us the test were hard but if you study you wont have any issues they are usually only 30 questions on each (4)exam and everything else is due through my lab. not my favorite subject
he was a good Pro. He always had lectures for us the test were hard but if you study you wont have any issues they are usually only 30 questions on each (4)exam and everything else is due through my lab. not my favorite subject but he was decent as a teacher he offers help if you need and gives out review each time
He is a good professor but DO NOT take him online anytime, it will be torture, He does not have lectures, but rather your lectures are Pearson powerpoints. 8 chapters with about 5 lessons each and you will have about 20 questions for each lesson for hw. Doing the math, about 800 questions!!! Save yourself the torture, I am barely hanging on.
He is a great teacher! I had him for in-person summer class, he has a great sense of humor, he also makes sure his students are understanding the class and goes over several examples and goes over reviews before a test. You'll be fine if your are respectful and attend to class, and if you can't attend to class just make sure to communicate it.
Once he got in the classroom he got right into the lecture, he explains himself very clearly and solve problems step by step, if you are struggling to understand something he'll help you. He reviewed every test and solve all the problems. If you do the homework and the practice test you'll pass. He does quizzes in easy stuff to give extra credit.
Professor Berhe is great!!! I had him during the summer. His lectures were easy to understand. He always gave us tricks to solve problems faster which were really helpful. During the fall semester, if I had problems with calc assignments, he still always helped me. He's a nice man, bad at computers tho, lol.
I liked his lectures, he's funny and explains concepts very well. But, he doesn't like when people ask questions or don't know the answer. We didn't even learn the last few chapters in class, he just sent out a video then we took the test. AND the homework is HORRIBLE. It takes so long to do, has very hard questions, and you have to pay for it.
He shows you step-by-step how to solve problems. He doesn't like students to use electronics in class. The exams are similar to the reviews and usually are not hard. He is caring since he extended the deadlines knowing that some students didn't submit assignments. Does provide extra credit and he only takes 3 of the highest score 4 major exams.
Doesn't know how to respond to students emails. HORRIBLE grading criteria. And he doesn't respond to emails. If it wasn't for my classmates having a groupme and us communicating with each other, we all would have failed the class. The entire class was failing quizzes but passing tests. He does drop the lowest test score at the end of the year
This Professor was very unorganized and it made things stressful and frustrating for most of the semester. I wouldn't necessarily choose him again. I was able to pass but it was barely passing since it was confusing most of the semester.
Do not take him for online classes! His syllabus quiz was difficult because it was 3 years out of date. He doesn't post lectures and expects you to learn from the textbook. HW is near a 1000 questions. He doesn't know how to use Canvas. The Math department should be ashamed of themselves for allowing him to "teach" online classes. Don't take him.
Do a favor to yourself and do not take this professor. Very heavy on homework- over 900 questions for the semester. And lots of quizzes.
I took him for Precalculus in Spring 2023, and he was a good lecturer. He went through the chapters carefully, and if you had questions, he would spend time explaining them to you. However, sometimes he dragged an easy problem and it could take some time. But overall, he was very helpful.
Four tests, eight quizzes (unlimited attempts), and one final. Lots of homework, but unlimited attempts. The professor has a thick accent, so it might be a little hard to understand the lecture. He goes over everything important in the lecture. Also has PowerPoints for more help. He holds reviews for all tests. Tests are exactly like the reviews.
Extremely test-heavy course,he's sassy with all his students. It's almost as if he hates being asked a question whether in email or in class.teaches alright maybe a 2/5 on his teaching but very heavy accent. Homework is not hard but unlimited attempts but why does it matter when tests and finals make up 80% of your grade?Just an all-around bad prof
Great professor his reviews were exactly like the exams and the reviews dont do him justice the sass is him messing around and joking as hes quite the jokester but also if you dont understand something he doesent have a problem explaining it.
This class consists of homework on Pearson, 4 tests (drop the lowest one), and one final. The homework per section, unlimited attempts, avg. amt. is 15 q's. Given reviews for all tests, tests are similar to actual tests. Berhe might have a thick accent, but everything on the test is usually covered on the board. Would take again.
Please do yourself a favor and do not take this professor. He genuinely does not care about his students and anytime anyone asks a question he gives attitude or is just plain rude. If you happen to have to take this professor make sure you complete everything on time because he gives no leniency or help. He does NOT care if you pass.
RUN!! This professor can NOT lecture! You will be teaching yourself the entire semester. QUIZ HEAVY! He is very passive aggressive, and has a heavy accent. He does NOT answer his emails or text messages. He gives crazy due dates and will NOT accept anything late. He uses lockdown browser with webcam. He does NOT care if you pass his class or not!
Professor Berhe had a straightforward and easy to understand class. He was extremely helpful when there was a misunderstanding and didn't mind staying after class to help. He gave a lot of extra credit and grade boosters. If you are respectful and driven, you will do well in this class. (He does not allow electronics in class)
He teaches himself not the students if any one dares to ask he gets pissed like come on he is being paid to teach not to just read , I would never recommend him to any of students .
Honestly, he's the best professor I've taken so far! His lectures were tolerable and I had so much fun! I always stop by his office because he's caring and a good person to talk to. He always lets me borrow his scissors! He always gives formulas and you'll be able to pass his exams if you study the reviews.
The professor has a thick accent, but explains concepts clearly. Lots of homework, but unlimited attempts. Tests are similar to reviews. unstuckstudy and the free textbook helped me prep efficiently.
Bad attitude, very homework heavy, but at least its on pearson with unlimited attempts. Hard to understand, heavy accent, and he gets pissed from anything. Tests are w lockdown browser and webcam, nothing special, test reviews range from useful to useless because he will add one or two unreleated problems in there. Take him if there's no one else.
This is singlehandedly the BEST professor I have EVER taken! Everytime I would enter his lecture room, a smile would spread across my face. He is so caring and takes time to make sure you understand. Make sure you do the work though!
I hope I picked the right term; I had college algebra with this professor. He was a good professor! Made sure to address questions. Was easy on due dates. However, there was a lot of ALEKS homework. Also, there was no test retakes. If you scored well on the final, he took down one bad test grade.
Tough professor, I don't even know how I passed. do the assignments and discussions!! do homework and make time for studying and tutoring. this is not an easy breezy class. you Must do the work
This professor is featured in all my nightmares. Extremely rude, had impossible expectations for the webcam, changed grades randomly, or took too long to grade (it was a three-week course). When confronted during the lectures, he would blatantly ignore students and speak over them, eventually leaving the call. We had to file complaints against him.
He is a decent professor because he tries to falsely accuse his students for cheating by giving them 0's on the exams and I will not recommend taking him because he will not answer your questions after class and he will ignore your question after class is over and has a bad timing to answer his phone. I recommend a different professor please.
DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR. IDK HOW HE'S GETTING GOOD REVIEWS. HE'S RUDE IF YOU TRY TO ASK HIM A QUESTION BY THE END OF CLASS, HE JUST LEAVES. HE DOESN'T ANSWER EMAILS ON TIME BE READY TO WAIT 2–3 BUSINESS DAYS FOR A REPLY. DON'T GO BY THE RATES READ THE REVIEWS. HORRIBLE PROFESSOR. I BEG YOU, DO NOT TAKE HIM FOR A MINI SEMESTER.
Baffled by good reviews. Online Anytime with no lecture videos, only 1/3 tests had review video. Number of questions on the HW was insane for a 5 week course. 20-35 questions per assignment and all take several steps to complete. 10+ HW assmts due same day. 1st test was 2 days later than scheduled. Unorganized, unresponsive, and unprofessional.
He does not answer questions until multiple days later. Very strict. In lectures he goes very fast and just expects you to follow along without breaking it down. I love math; however, he made it very difficult for me to enjoy this course.
This boy does not respond to emails at all. He has meetings for test reviews but other than that he doesnt really do much teaching. He also constantly gives 0s on exams for not following extremely specific webcam instructions. If this is a last resort just make an effort to understand all the assignments and skim the reviews and you'll be fine.
I only put hilarious because of how hilariously insane his homework assignments would be in terms of questions 25-30 and they'd be those answer question 1; a-f types of questions. super rude, would immediately think you are attacking him if you were to tell him why you needed to be absent. please look for another professor if possible.
The professor is horrible at grading, one week til the departmental final and I have no idea what my actual grade is because assignments are not graded. Unreasonably strict about webcams for exams. Horrible at responding and is not tech savvy at all. This was an online anytime course but exams are scheduled and only open for one day, makes no sense
