He actually cares about the students success and is always trying to help you improve and understand the content from the course. If he knows you understand the information and try hard in the course he will pass you.

He's such a great teacher. He really cares about weather his students learn or not. He's the "turn your cell phones off! you're paying for this!" kind of teacher. He takes the time to help everyone and makes sure you get the best mark you can get. And i love how he counts the work you do on the formulas, not just the answer. Love him!

Great Teacher I ever had. Do your homework and ask questions. He looks out for his students and gives you extra support all you need to do is ask. Turn off your cell phones he hates students that have their phones on. Pay attention to review notes that he hands out they are the exact same questions on the exam (HINT, HINT)

This is the best teacher ever. Offers office hours and remedial help. He really cares about his students and does everything he can to assure you succeed. He even told us our textbook price went down and to go get the difference back. Take him and don't look back, you'll definitely get your money and time's worth.

Professor Slavko is hands down the BEST math professor/teacher I have EVER had! Trust me people, if you're like me and you completely dreaded taking a math class and/or you're just not good at math I strongly encourage you to do whatever you can to get him as your professor. He makes math so easy and understandable. Respectable guy.

If you do the work you'll get the marks.. He's a lenient marker too. And takes student feedbacks seriously..he'll try to accomodate your needs..within reason.

This prof definitely knows his stuff. He's got a great sense of humour and explains all the material clearly. I've always been horrible at math and I am excelling in his class. He explains in detail so you understand the purpose of the questions and shows loads of examples. Prepares you very well for the tests by giving practice tests and quizzes.

His explanation is very clear and he will help you as long as you do what you are supposed to do. Though I would have felt nervous if I had missed class as he covers a lot of material in each class. Attend every class and do review excise in the text book before exams, You'll be fine.

Oleksandr Slavko is one of the best professors I've had. He teaches very well, and is very clear with his work. He's humorous too I must add. The best way to pass his course is to show up, listen and work along with him as he teaches. His tests aren't insanely difficult either. As long as you show up to do some work, you'll be fine.

He changed my life! I love math because of him. He is funny, clear, concise and patient. I would highly recommend him for anybody feeling nervous about math. Just go to class and copy what he writes on the board and listen, eventually it all clicks and you just get it.

Oleksandr is a brilliant math professor. He knows what he's talking about, and gives interesting lectures. Oleksandr stands out as a prof who cares about his students. He has a great sense of humor and a razor sharp mind to plough through any mathematical problem. Mr. Slavko doesn't waste your time. He get's right to the lesson. He takes simple approaches to help you understand the math. Doesn't overcomplicate or rush through material and will not move on until you feel comfortable with what being taught. Remember it's your money he reminds you 2. Attend class, ask and answer questions, and you'll be fine

My favourite prof so far. He was funny and simplified a somewhat complicated class. If you attend class, which you should, you'll be fine. Do the work and pay attention and you'll get it. Easy marker, just show your process and you'll get part marks even if your answer is wrong. Would 100% take him again and recommend him to anyone.

I almost failed remediation math with a different prof, but when I came into this class I was getting amazing grades and Im not that great at math. This prof genuinely cares about the students and he explains things very detailed which is amazing

very clear and to the point teaching style, but beware he moves very quickly throughout the material each class. gives quizzes randomly, but feedback given on incorrect answers on tests very clear as to what you should work on and correct or review

This professor is really amazing. He makes mathematics easy for us, explaining all the concepts, bringing them to the reality, teaching how to properly use the financial calculator and practicing a lot of exercises during the classes to help to absorbe the content. Professor Slavko is one of my favorite instructors at GBC. His lectures are not boring and during lectures if you have any questions you can stop him and ask your question. His test might be heavy if you are not prepared, but if you did you should get an easy A.

Great prof! He goes way too fast for me so I basically had to teach myself the whole semester but his docs are so detailed that I was able to do that successfully. There is a language barrier but overall its clear that he wants us all to succeed. I recommend him, especially if you enjoy math unlike me.

Oleksandr is wonderful! His work online might be confusing and messy due to the fact that he has to use a pen tablet, however his explanations are clear. He is willing to give help anytime, even during intersession! He explains what he expects and he truly wants all of his students to succeed. I would definitely take him again if I could.

Going into this class, I had no expectations and was rather ready to just pass (i suck at math). However, Im so glad I took this class with him! He's patient, answers every question no matter how "dumb", is very approachable, and truly wants his students to succeed. There are weekly quizzes on MyMathLab and 3 Tests. Definitely recommend.

Math gives me so much anxiety especially when the prof doesn't understand that not everyone gets it! Prof. Oleksandr actually cares about his students, their wellbeing, and their success in this course. This is the first time I've ever had a genuinely good experience in a math course and I actually have learned something.
